Madelyn sat in her bedroom, with Bonnie and Caroline, the three were having a girls' day in just the three of them.

The Lennox witch smirked as an idea popped into her head. The Bennett and Forbes girls both noticed Madelyn's silence and looked over at her only to see the smirk on her face, they shared a look before Caroline spoke, "What's up Mads?"

The blonde witch looked at her two friends, "Well Care, Bon-Bon, I was just thinking right, and then this idea popped into my head... okay, so you know how some vampires have daylight rings? Well, there are some vamps that don't have them either because they don't personally know a witch that would make them one or whatever other reasons, so I was thinking someone could profit off of that shit. Like some vamps would pay so much money to get one since they can't compel witches to make them one."

Caroline smirked at her, "I see what're saying, Mads, and damn you right someone could make a killing on that shit."

"And that someone my dear Care-Bear is us... no one else has tried or thought to profit off the sale of daylight rings, or we would have heard about it by now... Bonnie and I make the rings, Care you can post an AD, to get things rolling you're so good at stuff like that, and boom we split the profits between the three of us... it's literally like the easiest money we could ever make short of compelling it, which none of us can do so..."

"Wow you really have thought about this haven't you Mads?"

The Lennox witch smirked at the Bennett witch, "Come on Bon, what do you say let's make some bank?"

She was considering it, but the thought struck her, "how are we going to afford to get the materials we need to start the business?"

Madelyn grinned at her, "I've thought of that too." then she gave them a look, "But to make sure that it would work I need to talk to Kol so..." they both snorted at the look on her face but nodded in agreement to let her summon Kol for a little while, seeing as they both wanted to know what her solution to that little problem was.

"Hello, little witch."

Mads grinned, "HI Kol, so I have a question for you."

"What is it, Little witch?"

"Okay so I had this idea to start a business right, selling daylight rings to vampires, nobody has ever done it, and you could make a fortune doing it, but I need help getting it all started up and getting the materials and shit like that... okay, so my question is do you think Elijah would invest in my little business if I offer him a slice of the profits we make? Like just enough to get us started."

Kol looks at her impressed, "Wow that is actually genius little witch, and being the businessman that Elijah is I don't see why he wouldn't invest in it, especially if he knows who you are which all you have to do is flash that pendant around your neck to him, and he will for sure without a shadow of a doubt know who you are to me."

The blonde witch grinned, "I thought so, but like didn't want just to assume and then ask and be shot down and embarrassed and all that."

Bonnie was looking a little confused, "who is Elijah?"

"Kol's brother... I've met him once, he was the one that gave me an idea of the identity of my soulmate, to begin with."

She nodded, The Bennett witch was still learning about the supernatural world, so there were still things that she didn't know a lot about, and the Originals were one of those topics. "Okay then."

Caroline gave her best friend a suggestive look, "so is he cute this Elijah?"

Mads snorted, "Care-Bear he's so not your type... I've met him once, and I just know he's not your type."

Kol tilted his head looking at the blonde human with a smirk, "You know I believe that Nik would be far more her type than Elijah would be."

Madelyn smirked at her soulmate, "You know what, I've yet to meet him but from what I do know about him, I'll agree with that Kol, he would definitely be more Care's type than Elijah." Mads pulled out her phone and dialed Elijah's number since they had enhanced numbers the day they met in New York. "Hello, Elijah? It's Madelyn."

"Madelyn, what a pleasant surprise, what can I do for you?"

"I'd like to set up a meeting, I have a business proposition for you that I think you'll find intriguing."

There was a slight pause, "All right, then we can set up a time and place for this meeting, and I'll see what this proposition you speak of is about."

"Great, can you do next Saturday at say 1:30 PM, I know this little café in Manhattan that we met at for this, I'll text the name and address to you before the meeting."

"Very well I look forward to seeing what this is about, Madelyn have a nice rest of your day."

"I also look forward to it and you do the same." They bid each other goodbye and hung up the phone.

Caroline looked at Mads, "You were right I could just tell by the sound of his voice he's not my type at all." That made them all laugh.

Mads kept the spell up for a little while longer before letting it drop with a promise to summon him again later.

The girls resumed their girls' day in and Madelyn's parents found the three passed out on Mad's bed when they got home making them chuckle softly as they placed a blanket on the three sleeping girls.

***
Okay so the whole selling daylight rings idea I got it from a book that I read recently and it was something that you don't see a lot in fanfics so I knew I had to implement it into one of my fics and this was the one I decided on.

I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter (:
