Ash 150: Secret of the Pokétrix

Part 8: A Defeated Hero and a Meeting

(He was too late. Ash was unable to stop the Trevenant holding Iris, Axew, and Pikachu from taking them down, but he still refused to give up on trying to break through the Cover. If He could not break through, he would never see them again! And he refused to let that happen. He Launched another power packed punch to the cover but failed in making so much of a dent on the cover. He refused to stop punching the cover, launching punch after punch, not stopping, or even holding back even an inch of his power. He did not care anymore about how he sped up the countdown of the Pokétrix. All he cared about at this moment was saving, Iris, Axew, and Pikachu. But then Mega Aggron said getting his attention).

Mega Aggron: Ash, (He then says solemnly). They are gone. (But Ash refuses to accept this shouting).

Machamp: No! No, I need to save her! (Mega Aggron then Kneels to be at Machamp's Eye Level as he keeps punching the Cover until Mega Aggron put his arms on his Shoulder).

Mega Aggron: There were too many, Ash. The Elder Tree were not going to Stop until they had one of us. (But Machamp fires back saying).

Machamp: She sacrificed Herself to save me. (He shoves Mega Aggron off him and walks towards a wall. And begins punching it overwhelmed by his emotions of failure, Anger and Rage). IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME! IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME! IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME! (He Focus Punches the wall so hard it causes a Large Explosion as debris falls around him. When the smoke dies down a bit he is on his knees as the Pokétrix Icon begins beeping before timing out. Revealing a despondent and heartbroken Ash as he collapses onto his knees, his feelings of disappointment and regret still present...).

Ash: Ugh. It should have been me. THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT! (... Until they become feelings of anger, rage, and hatred directed towards Magearna!).

Magearna: My fault? (Magearna is in shock by Ash's accusations of this being its Fault).

Ash: Yes, if you had not Helped the creator make this Stupid thing, then I never would Have found it, and Iris, Axew, and Pikachu would Still be alive! (Mega Aggron tries to calm Ash down).

Mega Aggron: Ash - (But then Magearna interrupts him saying).

Magearna: I am a selfish and Self-centered being, but it Takes one to know one. (Magearna said back to Ash. He glares back at Magearna but ready to make it eat its words. But Mega Aggron knows that they do not have time for this as he stops from potentially trying to throw blows at each other, both physical and verbal).

Mega Aggron: That is enough, both of you. We still need to find the Creator. (Ash slumps and walks away from them both). Magearna, if Mew did survive an Attack like that, where would he Go? (Magearna has an idea to where Mew would go. Moments later a doorway opens, and they see what looks to be a long dark tunnel ahead of them. Then Mega Aggron and Magearna fly down the tunnel on their Hoverboards while Ash hangs back for a moment. He grabs his hoverboard and has blaster cannon strapped to his back again. He then stares again at the pipe cover where the Trevenant took Iris, Axew, and Pikachu. Then after a moment, he says solemnly).

Ash: I am sorry, Iris, Axew, and Pikachu. (Then Ash gets on his Hoverboard and flies down the Hallway catching up to Mega Aggron, and Magearna. Once Mega Aggron sees Ash catch up to him, he asks gently, not wanting to provoke him like he was moments ago).

Mega Aggron: You, okay? (He notes the depressed and crestfallen look Ash on his face).

Ash: Just wondering how I am Gonna tell Grandpa and Zoroark about... (He cannot even finish the sentence feeling it to be too hard for him. Mega Aggron chooses not to downplay Ash's emotional distress here, knowing his sadness is real. And he says apologizing to him).

Mega Aggron: I am sorry, I know what you are going Through, (Mega Aggron then Flashes back to his past) I was young. I did not care about anybody but Myself, so it made sense that I Wound up a mercenary, a soldier for hire, I was loyal to whoever paid me the most, no matter how evil They were. It was only a matter of time Before I would work for the Worst of the worst - Necrozma, I stole the last piece of the Puzzle Necrozma needed to invade My home world. When my people did not bow at his Feet, he destroyed the entire Planet to make an example out of It. Necrozma did the dirty work, but He could not have done it without My help. (Mega Aggron remembers seeing his planet blow up right before his eyes. Just as his Flashback ends). So, when I heard that he was After the Pokétrix, I vowed to Never let another powerful Weapon fall into his claws Again. (Hearing Mega Aggron's story, hits Ash hard as he realized his mistakes, and decides to come clean to Mega Aggron as he confesses to him).

Ash: This is all my fault, I saw that the watch was acting All weird at the reactor, but I Used it anyway, I must have somehow set off the Self-destruct. Iris, Axew, and Pikachu are dead because of me. Now everyone else will be, too. (He says looking even more miserable than before. But then Mega Aggron says sympathizing with Ash for his distress).

Mega Aggron: We both have made costly Mistakes, (Then Ash looks over to Mega Aggron) but if we do not find Mew and stop the Self-destruct, then Iris, Axew, Pikachu, and Palossand and all the others will Have lost their lives for Nothing, and we are not going to Let that happen, right? (Ash nods and gets a serious and determined look on his face, no longer feeling sad anymore, but now determined to make sure not to let those who sacrificed themselves so far be in vain. And so, they keep moving down the tunnel, but Magearna stops in its tracks yelling to the boys).

Magearna: Look out! (They turn to Magearna wondering what she was referring to, but they do not notice when the set off a laser light trip wire and hear the sounds flames erupting ahead of them. But they look too late, and Mega Aggron grabs Ash and holds him close to his Chest. Jumping off his board and going into a Jump Roll protecting Ash and keeping him safe from the torrent of flames. Before landing safely on the floor with Ash in his Arms. Then Ash and Mega Aggron see a series of Lights illuminate up to a heavy looking door. Before a Panel opens and Camera like lenses appears. It scans the two of them, before narrowing on the Pokétrix on Ash's wrist. Then the Voice says in an Ominous tone).

Voice: The Pokétrix. (Then a Blue tinted Holographic display of an enormous looking Pokémon with a Mecha Suit on appears before them, hovering off the ground. It might just be a projection, but the Mecha suit looked to be Ten feet tall, Seven feet wide, and Eight feet deep. Along with tank-like treads and what looks like a large power source on the front of its body. On the Chest of the Suit where the power source is it said, "MechaMew2". Then the Ominous Voice Projection said). What are you doing with my Pokétrix?

Ash: "My Pokétrix"? (Ash cannot believe he finally found the creator at last). You? You are the creator? (Then Magearna comes up to the group on its Hoverboard before jumping off as the voice directed itself to Magearna).

MechaMew2: Magearna, you traitorous Caterpie, Is that you? (Magearna says sarcastically to its former Boss).

Magearna: Nice to see you again, too, Boss. (Then Ash walked up to Holographic Projection and said to it).

Ash: I am Ash Ketchum, I wound up with the Pokétrix. Now it is in self-destruct Countdown, and - (The Voice interrupts him saying).

MechaMew2: I know, I invented it!

Ash: Oh, yes. So, anyway, (Ash walks through the projection, making it disappear as he walks to the iron doors). if you could just Turn it off... (But then more doors close in front of the already closed door, making Ash Stumble backwards to avoid having them close on him, startling him. But then Mega Aggron says).

Mega Aggron: Maybe Ash did not make it Clear why we are here. (But then the Voice speaks up again saying ominously).

MechaMew2: I understand completely. You misused my creation, and now the whole universe will be the victim of its Destructive Power. (Ash frankly has had it with this Voice's clear and Obvious lack of concern and decides to make his anger clear to it).

Ash: Look, I do not know why You do not want to help us, but My cousin and our Pokémon sacrificed their lives to Stop this thing. (But the Voice ignores his concern yet again saying).

MechaMew2: That is not my concern. (That was it. That was the last Straw for Ash, now he is Furious! Beyond Furious, he is feeling positively Enraged! And decides to make perfectly clear to the Voice to the Voice that he is not messing around anymore as he goes and then activates the Pokétrix telling him!).

Ash: IT IS NOW! (Ash goes Hero, turning into Snorlax!)

Snorlax: Let us roll! (Ash goes and uses Rollout, speeding down the hallway towards the door only to get an electric zap upon impact with it). Ugh! (He goes flying back to Meag Aggron and Magearna, landing harshly on the ground. As Magearna notes to itself).

Magearna: That looked like it really Hurt. (Snorlax does not quit in trying, and rolls to the doors again, as Magearna and Mega Aggron Stand back and watch him. Snorlax's second attempt at barreling down the ends the same way as his first attempt. But even so, he refuses to stop now, as he makes it clear that he is not going to quit here).

Snorlax: I HAVE COME TOO FAR! AND I HAVE LOST TOO MUCH TO BE STOPPED NOW! (He said in a moment of Heroic BSoD before he Rolls towards the door once again, and this time, he successfully breaks the doors down and enters the room ahead of them as Mega Aggron and Magearna join him. Then Magearna says to herself and Mega Aggron).

Magearna: Remind me not to get that kid Mad. (Once the Smoke dies down, they see the "MechaMew2" suit at a control panel before them. Snorlax narrows his eye at him and says making what he wants from the Creator Perfectly clear and that he is not joking for even a second and is completely intending to destroy him!).

Snorlax: YOU ARE GOING TO TURN THIS THING OFF! (But the voice ignores the request once again).

MechaMew2: You think you are a Hero, but You are a fool. You only speed up the countdown! Because of you, the universe has Even less time. (Ash is even more angry now! But is now willing to risk the Universe's Destruction if it means teaching this Self-Absorbed and Jerk of a Creator a lesson as he tells him).

Snorlax: IF THE UNIVERSE IS GOING DOWN ANYWAY AND I AM GONNA HAVE THE PLEASURE OF KICKING YOUR BUTT FIRST! (Snorlax goes and Rollout attacks the "MechaMew2" suit, ramming into it as harshly as he can. In doing so, he knocks the head right out of the Machine, knocking it down as Snorlax lands in front of it as he breathes heavily from this. The Suit hisses as the Chest Part of the Mecha Suit opens, letting a bunch of steam out. Then a Pokémon appears from the suit).

Pokémon: Look at what you did. Do you know how long it takes to Break in a "MechaMew2"-suit like that? (They Saw the Pokétrix's Creator right before their eyes. The Pokétrix Creature was pink with a rounded, wide snout; triangular ears; and large, blue eyes. It has short arms with three-fingered paws and large hind paws with oval markings on the soles. Its tail is long and thin with an ovoid tip. Suffice it to say, Ash was in shock to see that the Creator was not all what he expected at all).

Snorlax: He is really a Small Pokémon? (Even Magearna was in shock, not expecting this either).

Magearna: Who knew?

Pokémon: Yeah, I am a New Species Pokémon called Mew, so what? Does that give you the right to Destroy my property and invade My privacy? (Mew floats up to Snorlax and Mega Aggron as he demands shouting at Mew).

Mega Aggron: Enough talk! Stop the countdown! (Just then the Pokétrix Logo begins beeping again. As Mew shakes its head to say "No").

Mew: I say let the Pokétrix Self-destruct (Snorlax turns back into Ash) and take the Universe with it. (Mew floats away from them). Best thing that could happen, likely. Start fresh. I did not create a weapon. All of you did, I created the ultimate device for understanding all the beings of the universe. (Then Mew glances back at Ash and Mega Aggron with a Glare on its Face). You and Necrozma are no different. (Ash takes issue with Mew's perceived belief of him).

Ash: That is not true! (Ash then decides to admit honestly of himself to Mew, hoping it will listen to him). Sure, I have messed around with the Watch, but I have helped a ton of People with it, too. (Then Ash looks down thinking of the mistakes he has made and those who have sacrificed themselves for him). At first, all I cared about was That I would not be able to go Hero anymore, that I would be stuck with just being me. (But then he turns serious). Sometimes you need to see the Good in people (Then his tone turns to one of Anger and Rage) and not just be a Selfish jerk! (As Mew takes in what Ash said he turns to look at him, but before Mew can do anything, an explosion goes off rocking the place as debris and things start falling from the Ceiling. And the Group flees from the Room).

(The Group makes it outside with Ash Carrying Mew in his Arms. And stop running when they hear a Voice addressing them).

Voice: Mew! The creator of the Pokétrix. (They Recognize the Voice as Necrozma's. And Necrozma is not alone! Necrozma has a large army of Robot Orbeetle Drones and Celesteela at its disposal from a floating platform high above them). At last, we met. What an honor... For you. (Ash knew they were in big trouble now, with his Pokétrix on the Verge of Self-Destructing and Necrozma's Army ready to attack at any given moment. Could this impending battle be the Universe's Last?).

(A/N #1: Everyone, I have one request for all of you readers. Can you let me know how I did with this Part of the Story. I really worked extremely hard to convey the emotional conflict/aspect that Ash (Ben) is dealing with in this Part of the Story. Please I ask for your 100% Brutally honest feedback on it. Do not sugar coat it, or spare me of my feeling, just let me have it, your honest opinions/thoughts on it. Because I can take constructive Criticism. Thank You).
