Nearly Headless Nick's Death Day party is here, and Harry and his friends attend their regular classes throughout the day. The party is an unusual and eerie affair, but it has become a sort of tradition at Hogwarts, and Nick always appreciates the company of the living on his special day.
When the time for the party arrives, Harry, Daphne, Hermione, Neville, and Draco get dressed in their ghost-themed attire, which includes translucent cloaks and spooky accessories. They make their way to the Death day party, held in a dimly lit room filled with various Hogwarts ghosts, all floating and mingling in an ethereal dance.
Amidst the spectral gathering, they meet a ghost named Moaning Myrtle. Her gloomy aura is unmistakable, and her melancholic expression lives up to her name. Harry, always curious, and Hermione, the fountain of knowledge, start a conversation with her.
Harry leans in and asks, "Myrtle, what brings you to Nearly Headless Nick's party? It's a bit unusual for you to be here, isn't it?"
Myrtle replies in her melancholic tone, "I just want to be around people for a change. I get so boring after a while."
Hermione, ever eager to learn, can't help but ask, "Myrtle, can you tell us more about yourself? Who were you when you were alive?"
Myrtle explains, "I'm Myrtle Elizabeth Warren. I was Ravenclaw student here at Hogwarts, you see. And I haunt the girls' bathroom on the first floor. I die there under mysterious circumstances, which is why I'm a ghost."
Daphne, always perceptive, can't help but wonder, "Myrtle, can you tell us how you die? We've been hearing so many rumors lately, and we're trying to get to the bottom of things."
At the mention of her death, Myrtle's ghostly visage contorts with sadness, and she begins to sob. Her spectral tears run down her translucent cheeks.
"Oh, it's a sad tale," she begins, her voice quivering. "I was near bathroom after bullied for my appearance, you see, and I heard someone hissing. I opened the door to see who it is, and... I came face to face with a big yellow eye. After that I died."
After the party, when Harry and his friends leave the eerie ambiance of Nearly Headless Nick's Death Day celebration, they walk together towards their Ravenclaw common room, engaged in a conversation about the strange events that are unfolding at Hogwarts.
Hermione can't help but voice her concern, "There's something deeply unsettling about this whole Chamber of Secrets business, isn't there?"
Neville nods in agreement, his voice filled with apprehension, "It's getting worse by the day, and we don't even know what we're dealing with."
Daphne adds, "We need to uncover the truth and put an end to it, once and for all."
As they turn a corner on the first floor, they stumble upon something unusual. When they check their surroundings, they see Colin Creevy and one of the Hogwarts ghosts, Sir Patrick Delaney-Podmore, lying motionless on the cold stone floor. Panic wells up inside them as they rush to their fallen comrades.
Harry exclaims, "What's happening here? This is... this is terrible!"
Just as they kneel to check on the petrified students, Peeves, the mischievous poltergeist, enters the scene. He cackles with glee as he spots Harry and begins taunting him mercilessly. "Itty Bitty Potter!" he jeers, "Naughty Potty!"
When Peeves sees the petrified student and ghost, his tone changes dramatically. He shouts, "Hogwarts isn't safe now! Not even a ghost is safe anymore!"
Feeling a sense of dread washing over them, the students realize that the situation has taken a grave turn. They know they have to find answers quickly and put an end to the terror that has gripped their beloved school. The unsettling events at Hogwarts are escalating, and the sinister forces at play are becoming more dangerous with each passing day.
