Da Vinci was walking into Show Town with a bunch of canvases. There was a market taking place today and she was looking to sell some of her paintings, and maybe encounter Delilah in town, as she had not seen Delilah since that "court" day. But as she was walking into the market, she saw a pink monkey who was also selling art. The pink monkey took one look at Da Vinci, and went to talk to her.
"Wow!" She exclaimed. "A fellow artist! I'm Minka! What's your name?"
"Uhh, Da Vinci." She bashfully replied, slowly moving her paw for a shake.
Minka's handshake was rather hand. Da Vinci was constantly going up and down. She thought her front leg was going to come off.
"You're named after a famous artist?" Minka asked. "You have a gift!"
"I wouldn't say gift, it's more of a talent than anything." Da Vinci replied.
"Hey, wanna see who can sell more of their artwork?" Minka asked.
"I... don't know." Da Vinci replied, respectfully. "I don't want this becoming a heated competition."
"Don't worry." Minka replied, reassuringly. "It'll just be a friendly competition."
"Well, if it's just a friendly competition, the I suppose we could see who sells more of their artwork." Da Vinci replied. "Best of luck to you."
Throughout the hours of the market, the both of them tried to sell their artwork. Later that evening, they both went to one another.
"How many did you sell?" Da Vinci asked.
"Only three." Minka sighed.
"That's the amount I've sold as well." Da Vinci replied, in a somewhat surprised voice as she was somewhat surprised.
"Looks like we tied." Minka shrugged.
"I have an idea." Da Vinci informed. "Perhaps we could make an artwork together and auction that off."
"I like the way you think." Minka smiled.
The two of them got a large canvas, and covered it on splatters of paint. When they presented it at the market, people were trying to put-bid each other for it. Minka and Da Vinci smiled at this, and paw-bumped.
Now that this story is done, let me announce that I won't be taking story ideas for a bit, as there are stories I'd like to write. As for those requested in reviews, I might do them someday, but I have not yet watched Taz Quest for Burger. Anyways, see you soon.
