As the smoke billowed through the high tech corridor, a shadowy figure began to emerge through the carnage.

Striding forward, Chiro's eyes narrowed as the laser cameras began to activate simultaneously. All encouraged by the boy's dramatic entrance.

"Are we sure this is actually important?" The boy checked in with his boss as he moved quickly.

"Focus on the task ahead boy. Do not waste time asking stupid questions!"

Rolling his eyes, Chiro could still feel the rage coursing through his boiling veins. Untamed and wild, the crackle of power still rippled under his skin dangerously.

"No camera must remain standing Chiro. Otherwise the command room will be able to send out security robots depending on their sightings to your location."

"So you say." Chiro answered the communicator bluntly, as he held his injured arm.

Sighing as the lasers began to power up. Chiro knew he only seconds to react. Pushing his feelings aside; He held his hands up high in the air.

Moments later the high tech corridor lit up in red. The culprit, stood unharmed as they unleashed the red savage energy. Only stopping when the inevitable sounds of electrical sparking, glass shattering and metal twisting returned to him.

As the corridor plunged into darkness, the cameras began to echo as they dropped and littered the floor.

The teenage boy carried on navigating his way forward, regardless. Hand glowing red as he used the unfamiliar power to help him see what lay ahead.

Coming to a crossways of corridors the boy grinded straight to a halt. All seemed quiet, as the boy hesitated.

"Which way Maezono?"

"Do you not listen to anything I say?!"

"I try to, but I tend to find it ruins my day." The boy stated coldly back.

"Buck up your ideas boy and start remembering the plan."

Shaking his head at the silence that returned to him in the communicator the teenager resisted the urge to roll his eyes into the back of his skull.

"Unbelievable. Fine I'll just guess my way through this maze and see how that pans out." The boy growled as he gave up with Maezono.

Taking the path to the left the teen carefully stalked his way down the corridor. Blasting any camera he saw with dangerous accuracy.

Reaching the end of this long corridor, Chiro slowed his pace to a near stand still; as he observed the large circular open room ahead.

The room was huge in comparison to the tiny corridors the boy had just navigated. The ceiling was taller and open, as it stretched to the many storeys above. The higher levels appeared to be lined with glass viewing windows too.

Four large, closed, purple shuttered doors lined the outskirts of the room that went from the floor to near enough the ceiling.

The opening of the next corridor appeared on the far side of the room.

Gritting his teeth, Chiro could not push the bad feeling that gripped the pit of his stomach as he moved towards the obvious exit.

Nerves starting to fray, the boy was on the edge. The fiery rage that seemed to bring some reckless confidence and boldness had all but vanished. All he could hear was his steps upon the metallic floor.

It was quiet, too quiet…

"Intruder alert, sector 14." Suddenly pierced through the unnerving silence. Causing the startled boy to act like a deer caught in headlights.

As the room lit up in flashing red, Chiro just about pulled himself together. Shielding his eyes from the blinding light display with his wounded arm.

Spinning around wildly. Chiro could hear the doors clicking shut as he could just about make out visually that both of his exits were now blocked.

"What on Shugazoom do you call this boy?"

"Trying to stay alive! So don't lose your head…"

Cancelling the transmission before he could dig himself into any more trouble. Chiro's sensitive ears picked up the delicate sound of cogs whirring and turning.

"Somethings happening." Chiro breathed in sharply. As he eyed the room dangerously. Suddenly realising the closed shutter doors were slowly beginning to open.

"Do not ever cancel a communication on me again Chiro." Maezono's angry tones began to deafen the boy once more. "Due to your stupidity and your inability to take in orders correctly you've walked straight into a testing facility."

"A what? Testing facility? What is tested here?"

"You will find out."

"What type of help are you?" Chiro yelled back into the communicator exasperated, as he eyed the four doors that were opening around him.

"Here we go." Chiro growled when he could just about make out what had been released through the flashing beacons.

"Security robots." Chiro cursed under his breath as he sunk into a fighting stance.

On the other side of town, the early hours of the morning were proving to be very peaceful.

The Super Robot stood tall as it over looked the colourful, techno city it protected. It's silver, mirror like, shining armour glistened beautifully in the inky moon lit sky.

Inside, the robot's inhabitants slept soundly. Oblivious to the goings on outside until a familiar, rude awakening sabotaged the perfect scene.

The siren soon activated through out the Super Robot. Lights flashing red as it squealed to warn of the incoming distress signal.

Five robot monkeys and a robot girl immediately dashed for the central control room. Not a moment was lost as they all shot into position to analyse the call.

"What on Shugazoom is this?" Sprx asked as he slid to a stop by his blue scientist brother.

"Something is attacking the Shugazoomian Science Complex Sprx." Gibson answered as he began to furiously type away on the computer's keyboard.

"At 2:30 in the morning? Do they not want to sleep instead?" Otto chimed, yawning as he struggled with the early morning call.

Looking over at the gathered team. Antauri surveyed the situation on the computer main screen. "It would appear not," Antauri answered Otto.

"Not good. Any idea who or what?" Nova asked as she joined the gathering team in the command centre.

Not losing any seconds typing the science monkey shook his head to the golden warrior. "Not yet."

"Attempt to load the live cctv. See if we can figure out what is happening." Antauri instructed. Arms folding as he was soon transfixed by the screen in front of him.

Finally pressing the last button with his tail, Gibson breathed a sigh of relief. "That should be the security cameras loading now."

As the many camera video streams loaded onto the large command centres' computer, the team watched as hoards of operatives were running and leaving the complex en masse outside.

Slowly Sprx noticed an issue from the corner of his eye. Connection after connection began to fizzle from the screen.

"We're losing cameras Gibson!" Sprx shouted astonished.

"I can see that Sprx." Gibson sighed in response, as he began to frantically type once again.

The rest of the cameras soon began to succumb to a similar fate; failing before they could produce any images of actual use. The battle for visuals was being lost at rapid speed.

"Their cameras are trash!" Sprx complained. Exchanging glances with Antauri and Otto.

"What are we actually up against?" Otto inquired.

"It looks empty?" Jinmay commented as she scoured the remaining camera screens just as quickly.

"The fault is their end Sprx. The cameras are being damaged systematically. There also experiencing extreme power outages. They're losing power too." Gibson stated, not missing a beat on his speedy typing.

"There - oh no." Jinmay gulped as she soon saw a dark figure appear from the smoke of the carnage.

"It's him." Gibson confirmed Jinmay's comment after a brief glance.

Exchanging worried glances between them. The golden warrior gave a sympathetic look to her female comrade. "It'll be better this time Jinmay." Nova reassured.

"So this is the the one causing all the problems?" Sprx inquired. "Does he know we can see him?"

"Well he's not posing like Mandarin would have." Otto quipped.

Raising their hands high a red blast shot through from the shadowy figure. Immediately the cameras screens fizzled out into darkness.

"Those cameras are busted too. He seems to be doing a good job at causing chaos." Otto commented. "Seems dangerous enough."

"He's just taken out the entire corridor of safety lasers and cameras." Sprx added as the green and red monkey looked to each other. "It's ballsy!"

Not liking what he saw on the screen one bit, Antauri shook the bad feeling from his head and heart.

"Monkeys mobilise." Antauri ordered, as the team began to head to their respective positions to pilot the super robot.

"Won't be causing us any more problems after I've whacked my fist over his head." Nova warned cracking her knuckles before entering her tube.

"Monkey team, I advise caution." Antauri interjected sternly.

This was certainly going to be a long night.

Eyes widening at the sight before his eyes. Chiro could barely take in the size of these giant robots. Each seemed adorned in all manner of guns, lasers canons and…

"Is that a scythe!?" Chiro exclaimed in shock as he backed into the centre of the room.

"Maezono we've got problems! They're huge and there's multiples!" Chiro mentally cursed. This was bad, very bad.

"Not just any security bots Chiro, these will be experimental at best."

"Excellent. Like that's going to make any difference!"

"Take no chances Chiro, blast them to oblivion before we find out what they're about."

Rolling his eyes at the sudden 'help' he was receiving. Chiro stepped into a fighting pose ready. Waiting for which of the released giants was going to attack first.

Soon Chiro had his answer.

Leaping out of the way, Chiro charged for the wall. Springing from it for some momentum, Chiro dodged the lasers bullets that rained at him from all angles. Launching off the wall he quickly scaled Chiro was soon on the attack.

Changing tactics because of his injured arm, Chiro twisted his leg around in the air. Landing the vicious, unfamiliar, powered up kick straight into the robot's face.

Chiro wasted no time in somersaulting to the floor and out the way as the giant mecha lost its balance. Crashing backwards into the ground with a boom.

Catching his breath once more, Chiro lunged forward for his next target. Dodging forwards to avoid the large scythe blades that swung for him.

Summoning up his wrecked powers once more, Chiro cursed under his breath as his signature electrical lightning bolt crackled red.

Shaking his Chiro, had no time to process this information as he took his chance. Slicing straight through one of the giant's leg joints causing yet another to crash to the floor.

Scuttling out the way of the falling robots. Chiro leapt again; but the next robot proved to be quicker, as the boy was swatted straight into the metallic wall.

Groaning the boy barely had a chance to recover, as a wave of nausea swept his body. Losing consciousness for a few seconds, Chiro awoke to a large, cold robotic hand scooping his battered body up.

Feeling the pressure suddenly intensify around him, Chiro gritted his teeth. Desperately fighting against the robot that had begun to crush the teen in the palm of its hand.

Summoning as much energy as he could, the boy gave into the cloud in his vision. One that angrily descended into a crimson red.

Soon the power began to seep from the boy's body. Beginning as a small light, the power soon charged up to becoming a chaotic, burning inferno.

As the robots hands twisted awkwardly, metal joints started to crack. Losing their grip on the wild teen. Splintering away, piece by piece, the melting armour exposed the metal skeleton beneath.

Wires sparked, as fuels mixed and leaked. Igniting the robot into a giant fireball when their vital pipelines disintegrated.

Finally the toasted robot fell to the ground with a creaking whine. Landing as a lifeless, unidentifiable melted mess.

Furious, the now freed boy kept up his attack. Filling the room with black smoke and flames from the breaking robots. Each suffering a similar fate, as the radiating red energy ravaged the robots to the core.

Once the power got through the robots; The room was next. The doors blasted off their hinges, as the windows at the top of the room shattered into smithereens.

It was then the emergency sprinklers kicked in. Ceasing the red light show.

The downpour brought the exhausted child to his senses. As he held the ground whilst gasping for breath. Letting the water wash over him as he tried to clear his scrambled mind.

Shaking visibly from the adrenaline, Chiro pulled himself off the ground as he edged his way around the destruction.

Barely able to take in the magnitude of what had just happened. Chiro fought back the waves of nausea as he watched the last of the flames simmer out in the downpour.

Avoiding slipping over in the cocktail of fuels and water that lined the floor, Chiro shook his head as he headed for the exit to the next corridor.

'My powers are completely out of control and this scene is nothing but, a total and utter mess. This is serious amounts of wrong and I have no one who can help me.' Chiro thought glumly.

Sighing, the boy took a deep breath. Fighting back the tears that threatened to fall, before tearing off further into the facility.
