A/N: Just to be clear, this is very clearly based on the fanfic, Blue and Yellow Adventures.

Early in the morning, Lazuli decided to have a cup of tea with her sister. As much as Lazuli never was a morning person, the excitement from yesterday made it hard for her to sleep. So she ended up staying awake the entire night. Now that it was Dawn, and her sister was going to go do her daily photosynthesis, she thought it best to spend some time with her sister before everyone else woke up. Black had just gotten to bed as soon as dawnbreak. So she and her sister went to the nearby café in Sunny Town.

After ordering their drinks, Lazuli's an Oran berry milk tea boba and her sister's a Razz berry fruit tea boba, Leaf started the conversation with a question.

"So how was last night?"

"..."

"Sis?"

Suddenly, a big brown paw started to wave at Lazuli's face.

"Huh!"

"Sis!"

"Oh- Sorry. I just feel really out this morning."

"How come?"

Leaf's ears drooped slightly.

"I'm sorry Leaf, it's nothing. I promise."

"But sis," she dropped her voice to a whisper, "you can tell me."

"I…" Lazuli paused, "am fine."

"Sis…"

Snow didn't know why she felt so off, she just wanted to leave. The stress of it all could have been too much for her. Yet she knew it would be weird to leave now, so she had to stay. Maybe, it was just her missing her friends, maybe it was knowing Sparky was here, or maybe, the more reasonable solution, she supposed, was sleep deprivation. Whatever it was, she wished to be with her friends, like always. Perhaps a nap would do well.

"How about you and me hang out together for the whole day? Just sisters."

"Erm, Leaf, going out right now isn't on my current to-do list if you couldn't tell."

"But, big sis, it doesn' have to be an outing, just some you and me time is all!"

"...But I wanted to nap," Lazuli whined. She wasn't one to whine much, generally that was her sister's job.

"Well then, we can read ourselves to sleep!"

Leaf giggled, while all Snow could do was smile at her sister.

"Erm, sure. I guess there isn't a point in arguing with you anyway. Stubborn Moss!"

"Alright then, Fridge Heart."

Leaf stuck out her tongue. Lazuli repeated the gesture back.

Then, they giggled, like how they used to. When they were Eevees.

"Are you done? We better get going now." Lazuli pointed at the clock in the café.

Leaf picked up her drink and rushed quickly to the door.

"Race ya!"

And off she was. Snow silently smirked as she started racing her sister, like how they used to. All that time ago.

"Mum! Can I go to pick the berries for Thistle?"

"Yes, of course dear. Just don't stray too far from the path."

"Yay!"

The little Eevee with the blue ribbon on her tail started running on the trail to the nearby berry grove. Excited to make something for when her sister came back from shopping with dad, she hurriedly started picking different berries and plopping only the ripe ones into her basket. It was only the first month of Spring, and her sister's birthday was in a day, so she thought that making small treats before the big cake and dinner from Pops would have been a nice gesture to her younger sister.

As she got to her sister's favourite berry, she put down her wood-woven basket on the ground, full of hand-picked berries, and went to grab a bunch of Watmel berries. She decided that, since it was her sister's, who actually liked unripe Watmel berries more than overripe Watmel berries, she would make a separate basket of berries just for her sister. When she got to making the basket, she didn't notice that another Eevee was there with her. She was so engrossed in making the basket, she hadn't realised her berries were being nicked by a thief.

I'm so sorry. I hate stealing but it would take a while to get these berries by myself. I need some for my family too.

"Hold it."

"Huh?!"

Snowflake turned around, sensing that the basket was being stolen. She could hear the basket move away from the grass, and immediately turned around, her back arched, her pelt jagid and fluffy. Her eyes were sharp now, unlike the round softness she usually adorned.

The male Eevee whimpered, frozen in fear like a dozed Deerling foal.

When his senses grew back to him, he ran as fast as he could. He was fast. And agile too. But so was Snow.

After five minutes of chasing, Snow began to realise his stamina. Generally she would have expected to catch up, but even then, she wasn't too far behind in all honesty. Using her signature tactics she summoned a Swift attack from behind her and started combining the stars into one giant star. She hopped onto her attack and started chasing him again. This time, she was faster. She jumped up and pushed her tail against the star to send it crashing downwards in front of the Eevee.

She fell on her paws, and slowly approached the Eevee, his paws shaking ever so slightly.

"Excuse me, but, would you happen to tell me why you stole my berries?"

"I-i…PLEASE DONT HURT ME!"

"Huh?"

The male Eevee backed away from her

They were on the edge of a river, or stream. He was very close to falling off the edge.

"Back away from the river, you're gonna fall on your butt!"

"Hu-huh?"

"Don't 'Hu-huh?' me!"

"I'm so sorry…"

"Hand it over first, and then let's talk."

"Oh- right."

He handed her the basket back and looked at the ground, his eyes darting any way but hers.

"Did you need the berries?"

He nodded.

"Well then, you can take a few. Let me make my extra basket."

After walking back to the grove, she found her unfinished basket still there, and decided to quickly finish it and give it to him.

"Here."

"Thank you…"

"No prob!"

Okay Speed, so how do I make friends? Erm. I think it goes like…how did I meet Trace? Erm. I think name first?

"W-What's your name?"

"Snowflake! What about you?"

"Speed."

"That is a cool name for a girl."

"I'm…not a girl though!" He twitched indignantly.

"SORRY!" Snow said sarcastically. She giggled.

"Just kidding."

She then stuck her tongue out playfully. He replied back with the same response.

"So why did you need my berries?"

"I could have gotten my own, but you had such a wide range of berries, I'd never seen them before."

"Huh?"

OH CRAP. DID I GO TO THE TREEHOUSE'S GROVE!? DID HE SEE ME? THAT CAN'T BE RIGHT! CAN IT?

"I only ever see the basic berries.

"How'd you get those berries from a tree like that? It only has Oran berries."

"The shops. These baskets are here just cuz I came here straight after."

"But-"

"Don't question it."

"Oh. Okay."

"Welp. Do you have siblings?"

"Mhmm. Two. A younger brother and sister."

"I have a younger sister too! How old is yours?"

"One year old. Her Hatchday is in about a month."

"Oh, my sister is two. Her Hatchday is tomorrow. My Hatchday was yesterday."

"Oh Happy Late Hatchday. My brother is two."

"What are their names?"

"My brother's name is Solarflare, or Flare for short, and my sister's name is Crystal, or Kris for short."

"My sister's name is Thistle."

"Maybe I could introduce my brother to your sister. They could get along, don't ya think?"

"Maybe. What's your brother like?"

"He barely talks, or at least with strangers. Kris on the other hand will start yapping about anything. She really is just a big, fluffy ball of chaos and joy."

"My sister is really quiet. Never talks at all to anyone else but me and my parents. I'm not a talker myself, but sometimes I have to fit that role for her."

"So maybe they would get along. How old are you?"

"Newly turned five! How about you?"

"Four. My Hatchday is on the 5th of April."

"Mine was yesterday. I was born on the 27th of February."

"So your sister's birthday is only a few days after yours."

"It gets super chaotic. For some years, we had a birthday party together, but mum insisted we both had different ones this year."

"What's it like to have a mum?"

"You don't?"

"No. Only my siblings, but then again I'm older."

"You have no friends?"

"I do. Just one though."

"How come?"

"I…dunno. I'm not wild! I promise!"

"I didn't even say that. Plus, I thought wild Pokémon didn't know a language."

"Oh. Yeah."

"So, you don't go to any school?"

"No."

"Can you count?"

"I can do that."

"What about operations?"

"Isn't that surgery?"

"No- Yeesh. Maybe my parents could adopt you."

"NO!"

"Huh? Why not?"

"I don't want to be a hassle on someone else. Including your sister, then…it would be…"

"5 children."

"Exactly! Especially 'cuz little sis is only one!"

"But-"

"No. I'm not going."

"Oh…alright then. Let's just be friends."

Snowflake smiled. Speed smiled back faintly.

"Well, let me help you get berries before I have to leave. How long has it been?"

"Dunno."

"Well then, we will need to do this quick! Come on!"

"Oh alright!"

They then swiftly brought a bunch of berries together and stored them in the basket.

"I think that's good enough…right?"

"Mhmm! Thank you so much Snow!"

"Welcome! How about we meet up next week, here. Same time?"

"Yeah! That'd be great!"

"Okay then. See you soon!"

And the little Eevee zoomed off towards her mother.

"Sweet pea, where were you! Did you get the berries?"

"Yes mum. I got the berries for sis!"

"Okay, come on then! Let's bake the cake, and make the snacks before dad and your sister get home!"

"Aye-Aye captain mum!"

Lapis giggled at her daughter, gently rubbing her head.

"Now wash your hands! Quick! Quick!"

~Back to Present Time~

"Sis! Can you bring the muffins!"

"YEP! YEP! I'M COMING!!!"

Racing down the stairs, carrying wrapped boxes, Leaf stood at the door next to her sister.

"Where are you going?!"

Silvia frowned at the sisters.

"To a friend's house, nothing much," Lazuli replied submissively.

"Aww…okay. Have fun!"

"You too Sylveon! Come on big sis, let's go!"

"Bye."

"Bye Glacy! Bye Leaf!"

"Bye Sylveon!"

After Leaf said bye, she and her sister ran off as quickly as they could to her big sister's friends' house.
