This was not Rowena's idea of dinner.

She frowned as Patrick dumps the boxes of pizza on the table. He scoops up a slice and eats it. He then swallows.

"What?" He frowned.

Rowena gives him a 'Really' look.

"We are eating pizza in a bloody dungeon Patrick."

The He-witch sighs.

"I already told you Ro." He folds his arms. "This is a safe space I took all the precautions all the spells to ensure Chuck can't listen in. He can't know about this."

"Like He can't know we are about to summon bloody Death."

Patrick smiled.

"Well you are here right?"

Rowena scowls and shakes her head.

"Why have we got pizza here anyway?"

"According to research Death likes pizza and anything greasy or fatty related. Makes sense really this crap can kill you if you eat too much of it. I even brought a cake just in case." He places a chocolate fudge cake on the table. "Rich in chocolate, high in sugar this is a heart attack on a plate. He will be most pleased."

Rowena couldn't believe she was hearing this. As Patrick got the ingredients out Rowena clears her throat.

"This is a bad idea."

"What other choice do we have?" Patrick turns round. "If Death does know how to kill God then I say we should hear him out."

"How do you know Death is telling the truth?"

"Why would Death lie about this?"

Rowena couldn't give him an answer.

"Like I said." Patrick continued. "If Death knows then we should listen."

"And if he doesn't?"

"Then we look elsewhere." Rowena scoffs at that. "The Darkness is powerful." Patrick thought out loud.

Rowena immediately went quiet at that. She raises an alarmed eyebrow.

"You are not..."

"No." Patrick shakes his head. "Not yet anyway."

"You are willing to put all of us at risk?"

"Were we ever safe to begin with?" Patrick questioned her. "How do we know the Darkness is what they say She is?"

"Death said so."

Patrick looked sceptical.

"I don't know who to believe anymore."

"But you are going to believe whatever Death says about Chuck?"

"If Death wants something out of this I'm sure he will talk. From my line of my work everyone wants something."

"What do you think he will want exactly?"

"God's head hopefully." Patrick said his tone dark. His face murderous. The sudden change in the witch made Rowena feel a bit uncomfortable.

A rush of relief currently courses through Rowena when she hears a bang and her son's voice drifting through.

"You are not summoning Death!"

Crowley joins them with a glare on his face. Patrick turns towards the demon. His eyes dart between Crowley's anger and Rowena's relief. He quickly put two and two together.

"You told him." He looked at Rowena feeling betrayed.

Rowena nods.

"We shouldn't be doing this alone Pat."

"You told him." Patrick grits his teeth.

"Yes she did because she thinks you are out of your bloody mind."

"Maybe I am." Patrick huffed a laugh. "But at least I'm trying right?"

"Death doesn't like to be disturbed." Crowley says. "And he most certainly doesn't like to be summoned."

"It's not like we have Death's number?" Patrick replied with a shake of the head. "You are not talking me out of this."

Crowley raises an eyebrow.

"My demons can be quite persuasive."

"Sending your demons in here and dragging me out kicking and screaming will not change my mind."

"You sound confident on that."

"Between demons and God I'll take the demons they are probably the most insignificant in all of this no offensive Crowley but it's true and anyway...suffering has become the norm recently so go on your Highness." He spat the word out like it was venom. "Give it your best shot."

The mother and her son both look at each other.

"There was another option." Crowley says.

Seconds later a figure comes through the door. Patrick didn't recognize him until he came into the light. When Patrick saw who it was he sighed.

"You got to be kidding me."

Castiel folds his arms and narrows his eyes.

"Patrick."

The He-witch looked at Rowena with dismay.

"What happened to keeping a low profile?"

Rowena lowers her head.

"She is worried about you Patrick." Castiel said.

"I'm fine." Patrick insisted. A thought dawns on him and his eyes widen in shock. "Wait does Dean know..."

"No."

Patrick sighs with relief. Then he becomes puzzled.

"But you tell him everything?"

Castiel grimaced at that. A flash of guilt goes across his eyes.

"Not always." He admitted with shame.

"They always keep secrets from each other." Crowley snorted. "Then it comes back to bite one of them in the ass."

"Creates the drama right?" Patrick chuckled sarcastically.

Castiel chose to ignore the comment.

"So Ro this is your plan get the demon and the angel to gang up on me? Scare me out of this. Guys how long have we known each other?"

"Too bloody long." Crowley replied with a huff.

"Yes Crowley too bloody long." The He-witch said it with a fond expression on his face. "I may not be at my best but I still have several tricks up my sleeve. Castiel." His eyes swept over to the angel. "You come near me and you will end up on the top of the tree."

Castiel frowned.

"Why would I be sitting on a tree?"

Patrick rolls his eyes.

"Forget it. My point is I want Chuck gone I don't care if He is God He needs to go! He has used us, abused us and He will keep going unless someone puts their foot down. Look what the bastard did to me I can't even win one round of poker now, Dean is a mess but I had to walk away because I know if I reach out and show one sign of comfort Chuck will be on to us and He will come up with another messed up plot twist to end us and this time it could be much worse. Dean may not see it you may not see it but I'm protecting him because that is my job he is my client."

Patrick has always insisted that he and Dean are finished he believed his work with Dean was done he told himself he wanted out countless times but here now where the witch can speak freely the truth came all tumbling out of his mouth. No Chuck pullling the strings, no lies or deception this is Patrick all Patrick he knew he is speaking from the heart. All that anger and hatred melted away replaced with guilt. Guilt that Patrick allowed himself to be tormented for so long allowed that bastard to control the game. Chuck is a much bigger, dangerous player but every player has a weakness. Patrick will find it. After all he is immortal he has all the time in the world.

Patrick blows out a sigh and runs a hand down his face.

"Like I said before you are not changing my mind and I mean that."

"And I will not stop you."

Everyone looked at the angel with surprise.

"I thought you were on our side?" Crowley frowned.

Cas shakes his head.

"I want to hear what Death has to say."

"Are you sure?" Patrick asked. "I mean Chuck is your umm Boss? Dad? Whatever He obviously means a lot to you."

"Chuck hurt my family." Castiel answered. "And for that He must pay."

Patrick wasn't sure if Castiel meant only Dean or if he was including all of them when he said that. Partick quickly pushed that thought out of his mind. Cas certainty wasn't talking about him.

Castiel shared a look with the witch a look of understanding. If one person would understand Patrick it would be Castiel. Castiel rescued Dean from Hell Dean has been his responsibility ever since. From the moment Dean became Patrick's client Dean became Patrick's responsibility. Both of them wanted to protect the older Winchester. Both wanted what was best for the hunter. If that involved getting rid of God.

So be it.

"We keep it under wraps for now." Cas nods "We don't know the extent of Chuck's control over Dean for all we know Dean could be His eyes and ears and He could destroy everything we have worked on. We have to be cautious."

Patrick nods at the angel relieved that there is someone in this room who understands him.

I'm not crazy.

Patrick found himself smiling. He then smirks at the demon.

"Here I thought the demons are the ones who encourage us to do naughty things."

Crowley let out a scowl. He glares at Cas.

"You know feathers you are truly a pain in the ass."

"I can say the same about you." Cas replied.

"Come now Ro." Patrick gestures to the ingredients. "Final preparations then we should be good to go."

Rowena shakes her head and mutters. "So much for that." As she begins to help the other witch.

"It is still a bad idea." Crowley argued.

"If you don't like it then leave." Cas stated firmly.

Crowley watched as Cas took his seat at the table. The demon then groaned.

"Bollocks." .

He drops down in the seat next to his mom.

"Okay." Patrick smiled. "Let's get this show on the road."

Death wasn't too pleased when he discovered he has been summoned. He swept the room with his eyes with a look of disgust before settling his gaze on the Irish witch.

"You called?"

Patrick nods.

"Aye."

Death's eyes go on to the table of food.

"I brought refreshments." Patrick forced a smile. "Help yourself."

Death's hand brushes against the table. He then grabs a plate and begins filling it with pizza and fries.

"I even brought dessert." Patrick nodded.

Death just gave him a look before returning his attention to the food. Patrick looked calm and composed on the outside but inside he is freaking out.

He is talking to Death for crying out loud. Never in Patrick's life did he think he would be this close to Death (If you exclude the part where he was shot and nearly died.)

Death took a seat with his food and started cutting into it with a knife and fork. He hummed as he eat. He calmly continues to eat not at all fazed at the others staring at him.

Patrick took a seat across from him.

"Is it good?" He asked.

Death paused. He puts his knife and fork down and raises an eyebrow.

"Get to the point."

His gaze made Patrick fidget in his seat. Death gave of a powerful presence the atmosphere was charged and heavy. For the first time Patrick found himself truly speechless. Fortunately Castiel was there to step in.

"We want to talk to you about God."

The other eyebrow shoots up.

"Oh."

"Yes."

Death suddenly looked intrigued.

"And what would you like to know about God? I have a feeling it will not be something good."

"You once said God can die."

"That I did."

"So tell us."

Castiel leans forward.

"How do we kill God?"

This is the first time I am writing Death so I am a bit excited and nervous. I only wrote Billie's version of Death in the past. Also if any of you want more Ro & Pat interactions I have posted a new one shot called Special Delivery which is part of my Cutie Pie series I would suggest to read the first story but it could be read as a standalone :)

Next chapter coming soon :)
