Amity Park; Ninja Invasion by Zoomedin

Author's note; this story is written from my personal writing choices. This story will include Naruto and Sakura getting together as a couple later in the series. BNG will not happen here, nor will any characters from it appear. This story is also unconnected to Many Dates of Danny Fenton. That said however, that series is one of my favorite things to read on Fanfiction, so I will make positive references to it when I can. The main pairing here is Danny Fenton and Tenten. All Nejiten fans or DXS (Danny and Sam) fans who may have stumbled upon this story, I suggest you either leave now or just read it but attempt to be respectful of my story. The same goes for fans of Leeten. I do not own any characters from either series. Danny Phantom was created by Butch Hartman. All Naruto characters were created by Masashi Kishimoto. Supergirl, Batgirl, and all other characters and themes are from DC comics, and their main roles will be revealed over time. Only Supergirl is central to the opening chapter. This story is not monetized. The adventure is set to begin shortly after Team Kakashi's mission to save Gaara from the Akatsuki. For the Danny Phantom world I will be intercepting the early third season. I personally see this as an alternate crossover reality. However I feel it is necessary to give proper time context. Dani Phantom will join in later chapters. I may write non crossover Naruto stories one day, but as a strongly dedicated N/S shipper, all my stories will be in a Narusaku related context. Reviews are welcome. A second chapter for the Ben and Raven series is under way. New chapters for both Power Rangers stories are also being prepared. They all have yet to be finished. Please enjoy this for now.

Chapter 1 Danny's New Crush!

Hidden in a remote desert location, Toby and Konan were doing research for the Akatsuki's plans. The Akatsuki had not been faring well lately. The Leaf Village Ninja were powerful opponents. They had stolen the One-tailed beast from the Sand Village but had not done so without cost. While defending the outside borders of their base, Diedara had lost both of his arms, and Sasori had fallen in battle against Lady Chio and Sakura. Toby and Konan had been ordered to do research and devise new strategies. Konan found something which captured her immediate attention. A Newspaper article from Amity Park, one that she thought would interest Diedara as well.

Diedara limped his way in, his body still in pain. "This had better be worth my time," he said, "I'm quite anxious to finally get my new arms soon, and later go after the one who did this to me!" Toby replies, "Your new arms are a very important project, and you will need them, if this mission is approved!" Diedara asks "Wait, what mission are we talking about?" Toby says, "Do you remember Pariah Dark?" Diedara's face curled into a wicked smile. "Of course I do, the Ghost King is a true idol to me, his dark feats are legendary!" Diedara said with pride. "Well, his legend has just taken a powerful hit! This article says that the ghost king has been defeated in battle, by a ghostly hero introducing himself as Danny Phantom!" Diedara looked up and was shocked by what he saw on the screen. The newspaper read in bold letters; "Danny Phantom saves Amity Park from the Ghost King!" "The Ghost King defeated? That can't be so!" Diedara roared out! And yet he could not deny what the article said. Toby dragged down the computer image to show photos of the Ghost boy in action. "If I may take over for a bit, these photos show that the headline is true and they prove that Pariah Dark's opponent was a ghost as well. To get straight to the point, I'm almost sure that this Danny Phantom believes himself a hero of sorts. To defeat a foe like the Ghost King, his powers would need to have reached a certain peak." Diedara studied the photos, still unsure what to do with this information. Toby goes on to say, "I believe that this does in fact warrant further investigation, and I also believe that if Danny Phantom is as powerful as they say he is, then his ghostly powers might be useful in our rituals. Of course we'd have to draw him out and take them away from him first! Does that interest you Diedara?" Toby asks. When he turned back to his blonde ninja comrade this time, he saw a smile on his face, a wicked one. "Hmm, I could get behind that. I still want payback on Naruto, but defending the Ghost King's honor suits me fine too. Sounds like a Masterpiece opportunity. Alright, count me in." He says. "Wonderful," Toby replies "Then now we must present our findings to our leader, and with his approval we will soon be arriving in Amity Park, The most haunted town on Earth! The Ghost boy will be our new prime target." The three evil ninjas smiled and laughed as they plotted their plans.

It was early the next morning when Konan was sneaking back into the computer lab. Konan had a secret she was hiding. She was curious about the mysterious ghost child too, but for a different reason. Since discovering that first article she had become obsessed with him. She searched for more information, and studied many stories and photographs. She found Danny quite alluring, with his bright green eyes, and strong muscles, also that wild white hair and dynamic look on his face. She knew if the other Akatsuki caught wind of this, they would turn on her all too quickly. She had to hide it! Still there was no denying it, she had been stung by the attraction bug. She found the Ghost boy all too impressive. Konan found herself torn between her duty and her secret feelings. She swore to stay true to her ninja ways and not be tempted by emotions. She wondered however how she would act, when the time came to truly test her!

Several hours later the trio of ninjas finally presented their findings to their master. Master Pein was curious that a young ghostly hero could actually stand against the Ghost King especially at his full power, and after hearing of more epic battles won by the Ghost Boy, he decided that this was indeed a prime specimen; he was greatly intrigued by the Ghost Child's powers. So the mission was approved. Konan, Toby, Diedara, and Kisamie were instructed to travel to Amity Park, attack the city, and draw the Ghost Boy into battle, and drain his powers. Master Pein arranged everything including airport transportation, and false passes for the plane ride. The four evil ninjas smiled wickedly!

Far, far away in the Hidden Leaf village at the home of Lady Tsunade, a message bird flew in and delivered a ninja message about the Akatsuki being spotted by ninja spies of hers on their way to the Grand Shogatu airport. She knew that whatever plans they had, had to be investigated, so she called in Shizune, her assistant and they began making plans. She knew a top-notch team would be needed to track the Akatsuki down. She believed Team Guy would be best suited for the mission. She asked that they be brought in to see her for their new assignment as quickly as possible. Guy sensei became incredibly excited for a brand-new mission to defend the honor of his home. Rock Lee as usual was equally excited to tag along and back his sensei up and boldly face the excitement of a new mission. Neji just listened and memorized the basic mission instructions. Tenten was quite curious as to why they were being tasked with a mission that would take them so far from home, but she knew better than to incur the Hokage's wrath. With their orders given and received, Team Guy began preparing to leave with Guy Sensei swearing they would reach the airport in only three days despite their journey time being estimated at seven days by Lady Tsunade who once again felt a slight migraine just from dealing with Guy's overwhelming enthusiasm! She watched them leave and was sure that despite the headstrong attitude of their sensei, the team was well qualified.

Back in Danny's hometown, Tucker and Sam showed up at the Fenton house, hoping for a Saturday in summer with their best friend. Tucker had found online info on a mysterious town called Gravity Falls, and some very strange occurrences in the city. He was eager to discuss them with Danny. Sam had tickets for the three to go a goth dark spotlight event, scheduled downtown later that day. Jack and Maddie of course let Danny's friends in. However, Maddie warned them, Danny had become enthralled with a new obsession. Tucker and Sam were startled that Danny was obsessed with something new. Sam also found herself feeling slightly cautious about what Danny's new fascination might be?

As Sam and Tucker entered the room, they could see Danny lying on his bed, with lots of snacks, and a notepad. His new TV was on and he seemed very distracted by what was on screen. Sam at first guessed he was watching a program related to outer space, due to their knowledge of Danny's plans for when he grew up. "So how's it going Danny?" Tucker inquired. Danny turned, hearing his friend's voice. "Oh hi guys, sorry I'm kinda caught up right now, this is just really intense, they have them cornered! You can watch too if you want, and we can talk at the break," he said, only slightly looking at them. They could tell he was quite distracted. "Aww man, great shot with the Batarang!" Danny exclaimed. Tucker and Sam froze at that and then dared to watch the program with Danny. When Sam turned to the TV, what she saw made her jaw drop. It was her! Supergirl! And this time she wasn't alone. Batgirl was next to her and Robin was there too. They were fighting several known dangerous characters including Metallo, Toyman, Killer Croc and a new guy Tucker and Sam did not recognize. "Um, Danny who's that?" Tucker asked, pointing to the guy in the black and red mask with a big shotgun in place of one of his hands. "KG Beast, he's the one who broke the others out of jail." Danny answered . Suddenly a blue breath was fired on the screen, blasting the bad guys. They all stood frozen stiff. Supergirl could be seen, turning to the camera and giving that same classic smile. "Oh yes! That was truly amazing! I knew she could do it. Great job, Supergirl!" Danny shouted out with a very dopey smile on his face. Sam could see Danny's face through the mirror across the room. "You're kidding me! I thought this was over! How can this still be happening?" Sam mentally groaned in her mind. "We talked about this, I thought that I had this handled, he's not thinking about that again is he?" Her mind was racing with these thoughts. Danny still had a smile on his face as he watched Green Lantern show up on screen to help the other heroes secure the villains. Robin, Batgirl, and Green Lantern all looked impressive in their own right, but it was all too clear, Danny's attention was focused completely on Supergirl! She was so stunning! Danny was looking like a boy not just joyful, but also lovestruck. He was smitten, no doubt! Sam was clicking her teeth and was sweating a lot. She was worried that this time Danny might actually go to Metropolis, and deterring him this time might not be so simple!

Flashback- Two months ago; Supergirl had come to Amity Park, to be a guest speaker at a Casper high school assembly. She was announced to be making a very special appearance and many students were quite excited for this event. However some were not, including Sam Manson, and Paulina Sanchez. Paulina never liked another girl stealing her spotlight, super or otherwise. Sam on the other hand approved that Supergirl liked to do good deeds and help those in trouble. However, it was her bright colored outfit, and cheery smile featured on most of the posters that Sam didn't like. She could not get behind someone that optimistic. Sam of course turned to her friends Danny and Tucker for comfort, only to receive the exact opposite. "Are you kidding, Supergirl is fantastic! She's wonderful, almost as cool as Batman!" was Tucker's strange response to Sam trying to push her to their side of thinking. Danny's was even stranger! "I still don't get what you see in Batman, Tucker. However I'm glad you're excited for the assembly. It's not every day a superhero shows up at our school. Yet alone one who's so attractive! She's incredible in every way! Have you heard about how she caught those muggers last week back in Metropolis? She's phenomenal! She's dynamite! This assembly is going to rock!" Then Tucker started laughing. "Ha-ha-ha, oh man, you have a crush on her! Wow, I didn't expect that! I mean I know she's hot, but Danny, that's not very realistic! She's even more out of your league than Paulina was!" Tucker said with a wry smile and a sympathetic look on his face. Danny turned to Tucker and said, "What, a crush, me have a crush on Supergirl? That's crazy, I'm just really happy she's going to be here!" He turned to his friends and tried to hide the truth, not doing the best job. The look on Danny's face told no lies, there was definitely a crush there! Danny gulped as he stared back at his friends. It took Sam a little bit to actually process what was going on. She had been curious who Danny might be attracted to, after his break-up with Valerie. She even had a small slither of hope, that he might start to focus more on her. Of course, now the truth was out, but she wasn't worried. After all, it was just a small celebrity crush, no big deal. Supergirl wasn't even supposed to be here that long; what was there to really worry about? She could put up with it for a day. Danny was sweating a little bit, Tucker was still laughing. Sam took a deep breath, realizing what she had to do. "Alright, I'm still not crazy about this, but let's check this assembly out, for you, Danny. It might even be fun. Besides at least she's not a cheerleader." Sam said. Danny relaxed, and said, "Yeah, let's do this, guys!" Danny began leading the charge. As he ran off, Tucker cautiously turned to Sam. "Are you sure you're okay with this?" Sam just said, "It's just one assembly, what can it hurt?" Tucker smiled and decided to follow his friends. Sam had no idea, what events were about to unfold.

Outside the school, a dangerous ghost was preparing for a new evil scheme Technus! The Ghost master of the cyber domain had gathered lots of stolen technology. He cackled and gleamed to himself, happy for his evil plans, "I, Technus, master of the cyber realm and all electronic devices will finally triumph today! Neither Danny Phantom nor Supergirl will be able to stop my evil plans!" Technus used his incredible ghostly powers to disappear back into the cyber realm, preparing for his evil scheme.

The Auditorium was well decorated with fancy banners and streamers. Danny and his friends prepared to take their seats, only to be met face to face with a very distraught Dash Baxter. "Oh hi, Dash, are you alright?" Danny asked. "Screw you, Fenturd," Dash started. "Just because I couldn't see her before the show, doesn't mean you'll ever get a shot." He snapped at his favorite bully victim. Danny looked upset and confused. "What are you talking about?" he asked. "Supergirl, of course." "I asked for Mr. Lancer's permission to meet her early and impress her with my football skills. He said I couldn't be allowed to interfere with official school business, team star or not. No matter though, I'll win her over, when the Assembly, ends no doubt. After all, she couldn't resist someone like me." Danny shook his head at this, "You don't seem like her type, dude." Dash responded, "Oh, and I suppose you think you have a shot? You couldn't get a girl like her in a million years. You probably couldn't even win her over if you were Danny Phantom. Ha ha, that's really rich." Dash was laughing, not realizing the irony in his own joke. Danny was very upset. Sam was also a little sick of this. She was very sick of Dash getting his way. "Oh look, I stirred up the goth girlfriend. Oh man, it sure is fun to mess with you three," Dash said, still laughing. Now Danny looked really upset, "She's not my girlfriend." Danny said firmly. Sam didn't know why, but something in the air that day made it hurt more than usual. "Look Dash, I don't mind you coming after me, but when you bring my friends into it, that's crossing a line." Danny said with a stern face. "Oh yeah, well just what are you going to do about it, Fenturd?" Dash challenged. Danny and Dash faced each other smugly. However their scuffle was interrupted before it could begin. "Attention, all students," announced Principal Ishiyama, "please take your seats, the assembly is about to begin. Any disruptions will mean instant detention. questions will be allowed after the lecture." she finished in a very direct voice through the microphone. "We'll finish this later, Fenturd." Dash said and took his seat. The others soon followed. "That's better," Said the principal. "And now I'm proud to announce our guest speaker today, coming all the way from Metropolis, Supergirl!" When the curtain opened, and Supergirl flew in, that caught all their attention. The boys especially were quite stunned. Everyone agreed she looked amazing, although Sam and Paulina still did not like her. Still, she captured everyone's attention quite well. And so the lecture began.

Supergirl's lecture was on safety. She explained that after she and her cousin Superman had broken up a strange cult that they discovered in Smallville, they had made a deal with most American schoolboards to allow them to visit different schools. They would ensure caution and proper safety measures to protect students from creatures like the one, they defeated. Some students found this fascinating, although a lot of them were more into the battle-related parts of the story. Everything seemed to be going quite well, almost too well. So then, of course Danny's ghost sense came out. Danny began to twitch. "Tucker, Sam cover for me" Danny urged them. Sam and Danny switched seats and Danny phased into the bleachers. He came out, down below in invisible ghost mode, just in time for a very deadly surprise. Five miniature robots shaped like flying saucers unexpectedly flew in from above, with ghostly energy surrounding them. More robots came in as well following the first advance. Danny was shocked to see they were targeting Supergirl and not him. He knew what he had to do. "Supergirl, look out!" he shouted. The robots came closer, but fortunately Supergirl heard the warning, though she was surprised. She turned and fired her eyebeams, only to receive some quite unexpected feedback. The robots were prepared with defenses of their own. Danny could see that his time had come, so he made himself visible. Danny begins to fire ghost energy at the robots. The students became even more excited to see Danny Phantom, their favorite ghostly hero. Mr. Lancer looked on at the fight and suddenly exclaimed, "Great Caesar's Ghost!" Danny smartly aimed at the robots' undersides and managed to knock a few out. Supergirl caught on quick and changed her attacks. However there was a new surprise, coming in. Another robot showed up, with its own secret. This robot had a strange-looking compartment in its chest. Supergirl began to feel dizzy, and started to have trouble fighting. Danny swooped in to help her out. The lasers, this robot fired were bright green. "It must be Kryptonite!" Supergirl exclaimed. Danny got closer and was ready to counterattack, but more robots showed up and launched a net over him, a ghost-proof net which stopped his phasing. The situation looked dire indeed. Tucker and Sam looked on in amazement. "Tucker, you have to go help him! See if you can hack into those robots." Sam urged, while shaking her friend. "What if someone sees me?" he asked. "We'll worry about that later, Danny needs our help now." Tucker realized she was right and made a move. But Supergirl wasn't finished yet, she was certainly weakened, but not defeated. She reached into her belt and pulled out a strange device. She activated it just in time. Suddenly Supergirl was back on her feet and in a hi-tech special costume, known as the Eradicator outfit. She fought back against the robots. Danny watched on in amazement, now even more impressed by Supergirl's incredible abilities. Tucker did his thing too, and rushed down to the fight scene. He activated his PDA and launched a chord out to hack a robot. He reset the drone to help Danny and stop attacking him. The drone swooped in and removed the net. Now Danny was ready for action again. This was a really good thing because, although her hi-tech suit was kryptonite resistant, it was vulnerable to the other robots' attacks, and Supergirl was in trouble. The lasers hit dead on at the armor joints. There was a very good chance her suit could fall apart. Tucker contacted Danny with his Fenton phones. "Don't worry dude, I'll make sure no more nets are launched. Get moving." Tucker told his friend. Supergirl was about to fall over again, but this time, Danny was there to catch her.

Technus could see everything that was going on from his control center. He was not happy. Danny was back in action. However his friend was also in line of fire. This was something Technus could take the advantage of. Technus ordered all his drones to target Tucker now. "If I get his friend, then young Daniel will have no choice but to surrender to me." he cackled.

Tucker was still controlling one of the drones. He used it to keep the others off of Danny, but then they started to change direction. Tucker quickly realized he was the new target. However despite a little bit of twitching, he realized for now he had some defense. He held his ground, sending his drone after the others. Vice Principal Lancer saw the situation and raced to the principal's office, where a ghost emergency alarm had been installed, given the town's history. He activated the alarm. He hoped the Fentons would be here in time. He also hoped Jack wouldn't do too much damage to the school.

Supergirl was knocked unconscious and hanging on Danny's shoulder. Danny had to admit, he thought it was pretty cool, that he was protecting Supergirl! However he was hardly in a position to enjoy it. This robot was strong. He had already neutralized, the Kryptonite lasers but new defenses were employed. Fortunately most of the students had fled, with one exception. Danny was surveying his surroundings and was surprised to find a certain girl still watching his battle. It was Paulina Sanchez and she looked quite upset to see her crush protecting a girl other than her. Danny didn't really care that she wasn't in the best mood, but he had to get her out of here. He didn't know why Sam hadn't stuck around but figured she had been grabbed by one of the teachers or something. "Paulina, get out of here!" he shouted to her. "But Phantom, I want to be by your side, so you can finally realize how much you care about me!" she replied. Danny slapped his head, kinda feeling sorry for himself that he was ever into this girl. Danny could see Tucker was still in danger as well. The robot his friend was controlling wouldn't last too much longer against a whole army. Danny stopped to think. The answer was obvious! Danny turned towards Tucker. "Tucker, listen to me, the center compartment of the big robot, target that. I'll bet the kryptonite's in there!" Tucker got the message loud and clear. Tucker could see his drone was not in great condition and the lasers were taken out, but he knew he had to go through with Danny's idea. So he amped up the drone's speed and aimed it right at the big robot's center. Danny fired at it. His ghostly energy covered the drone and it slammed into the big robot. Danny flew straight up, still holding on to Supergirl, and then went to grab Tucker and Paulina. The big robot started sparking and began to explode, The other robots raced, but they all got caught in the blast. Danny looked down, relived to see all the robots fall apart in one big explosion. Danny carried Tucker and the two girls and used his full ghostly strength to ghost them through the back wall. When they got out, Danny was worn out and returned to his human self. Fortunately the others were out cold. Danny almost passed out as well, except he heard the alarms on his dad's RV. At that exact moment, Technus showed up, very upset, ghosting through the ground. "I've got you now. You've ruined my plans for the last time! I'll destroy you!" He snarled. Then Jazz came on the scene. "I got your back, bro." she said, as she turned on her Fenton Thermos and captured Technus ending the chaos. "Jazz, when did you get here?" he asked. "I heard about the attack on the assembly, through the intercom system, and I thought you might need some help. I stationed myself out here, since all I had was the thermos." She looked around. "Is that Supergirl, like for real?" she asked. Supergirl started to wake up, dizzy but not as weak as before. She rose up and deactivated her special suit. Danny was definitely checking her out. Even battle damaged she looked quite attractive. She turned to see the two teens standing in front of her. She got a good look at Danny and found him kinda cute! She really liked his blue eyes. Suddenly the alarms on the Fenton RV got louder, so loud, that they woke up Tucker and Paulina. In addition, Vice Principal Lancer, Principal Ishiyama, and the other middle school students came up too. The Big RV stopped in front of the school. Paulina grabbed her mirror and checked herself to make sure she still she looked okay. She looked around for Danny Phantom, but to her dismay could not find him. Jack and Maddie came out of the RV with their big ghost guns ready. Supergirl snapped out of being distracted by Danny and flew up to survey the scene. "Where's the ghost?" Jack said.

Supergirl quickly grabbed everyone's attention. "Excuse me, all Casper middle and high students and faculty members and Mr. and Mrs. Fenton I presume. I've heard about you two on the news. First I want to say that this crazy battle with the robots and the ghosts was not part of the Assembly plan. However, with news of the school tour that my cousin and I are currently on being public, I knew there was a chance I might get attacked while speaking. The main surprise was ghost robots. I'm not used to dealing with those. The Kryptonite also surprised me. I definitely would like to know more about what happened here. I can tell you all who was the true hero who saved this school and myself and Danny Phantom, who I saw on the scene. Please listen carefully everyone, you all owe your safety and your lives to him!" she said and pointed directly at Tucker Foley. Everyone followed her exact directions and turned towards Tucker. Tucker blinked, and realized he was suddenly the center of attention. "Um hey, uh you know just being a hero, that's me." he said attempting to make the best of this. Dash was about to make a joke, but Paulina stopped him. "She's telling the truth, Tucker saved us all!" She spoke. After hearing Supergirl's story confirmed by none other than the head cheerleader, everyone believed it. Suddenly Tucker was grabbed by Vice Principal Lancer and hoisted up on his shoulder so everyone could see the hero. Jack looked angry. "Excuse me, Supergirl, did you say Danny Phantom was here? I'll bet he was the cause of all this, I never trusted him!" Supergirl froze and considered the actions of the mysterious Danny Phantom, who she had just seen in action. She did not see him as a bad guy. After having thought over the whole situation, she made a response. "Danny Phantom is a good guy, sir, he's a hero! I'm certain of it! He disappeared some time ago, but in there he definitely acted like a hero. I believe he's on our side." Jack grunted, then said "It's probably all an act, part of a bigger plan. I'll never trust a ghost." Supergirl felt upset and decided to argue back. "Excuse me, sir, I'm an alien and so's my cousin, you know Superman?" Jack stopped at the mention of Superman's name. He was a big fan. "Superman, he's amazing! I'm a huge fan, hey can you get autographs for my whole family from him? Oh and we'd be happy to take yours too." He said. "Stop!" Supergirl replied, "I have a bigger point. You know people haven't always trusted my cousin or me. Often people didn't trust us just because we were aliens. You judge Danny Phantom as a bad guy, just because he's a ghost. I don't feel that's right," She told him. "Alien, ghost, or human, I judge people by their actions, not by what they are. I hope you can learn to do the same in time." she stated firmly. Jack and Maddie put down their weapons and stood down, still unsure about their opinions on the Ghost Boy. Then Supergirl caught everyone's attention again. "There's something else I need to say," She began. She turned her attention to Danny and Jazz. "I believe these two helped save us as well." She said. If Danny had been crushing on Supergirl before, he was crushing on her even more now! She had just honored him, as a hero, as a ghost and as himself. Then Danny thought back over what happened. "Wait, it was Jazz who captured the ghost. I didn't do anything." Supergirl found his shyness kinda cute. "Actually I think you're a big hero." she said. "You were there watching over the popular girl, the geek kid who beat the robots, and me, and I believe you were protecting us. That's a hero in my book." She said. Just then Danny got pushed down by Dash, who really wanted to finally talk to Supergirl himself. "Fenturd's no hero. Now it's about time you got to know me, Supergirl. Have you ever met a quarterback before?" Dash spoke up, while also extending his arms for muscle effect. Dash expected her to fly right to him but she whizzed past him, and went straight for Danny. "Are you alright?" she asked. Danny was really lovestruck now. Supergirl was standing right over him and everyone else had turned their attention to the amazing scene before them. "Why are you helping him?" Dash asked. "Because he deserves it. He protected us. I still stand by my previous statement. Also, I'm not really into football players, sorry." She stated. Dash was dumbstruck. Unfortunately Danny's ghost sense went off again at that exact moment. Skulker had just shown up. "Hey there, everyone." He spoke. "Did you really think this was just a Technus operation? I've been waiting in the shadows, to join in the hunt and now's a perfect time to do it. So let the hunt begin." Jack and Maddie and Supergirl all turned around ready to face him. His suit had been improved by Technus. He now had an even stronger arsenal. Skulker attacked with lots of missiles and lasers. Supergirl dodged every blast. Jack and Maddie took a couple hits. Danny was angry. He didn't see an opportunity to change. He noticed the school's fire hose still racked up on the side of the building and that gave him an idea. He dashed off to grab the hose. He used the hammer attached to the panel and broke the glass, taking the hose out. Then he blasted it right at Skulker. Skulker was at first unfazed. But this did cause his laser blasters to get jammed up. In addition, it also worked as a great distraction to allow Supergirl to take the advantage. Supergirl wasted no time, she blasted him right in the head with her heat vision. Instant blast sparks erupted from Skulker's body and his battle suit became heated. The suit opened and the true skulker escaped. He was now exposed in his true small green form. Then Danny gave a signal to Jazz and she fired the Fenton Thermos again, capturing Skulker alongside Technus. Crisis averted! Supergirl was very happy and she felt her savior deserved a proper thank you. She flew back over to Danny. "Ah hold on, what's going on here?" He nervously said. Supergirl proceeded to grab Danny, and then she said, "I don't do this very often, but you've earned it, Cutie!" Then she proceeded to give Danny a kiss on the cheek, in front of everyone. There were many different reactions to this event. Dash fainted. Jazz had a really big smile on her face. His parents had big smiles too. Tucker who had gotten down from Lancer's shoulder during the scene with Skulker, had a really amazed look on his face. Many of the other male students looked jealous. Star was turning away from the scene, trying to hide her jealously of someone else making a move on Danny. Paulina was frozen stiff, trying to figure this out in her head. Valerie was possibly feeling some jealously too, as she was also reluctant to view the scene. Some other girls were looking admiringly at Danny, reconsidering their previous opinions of him. Sam was shocked and had a huge cringe look on her face. Danny himself was on cloud nine. His eyes had turned into hearts and his face was looking pretty goofy. Supergirl let go of the boy and started to laugh a little bit, still thinking he was pretty cute. "By the way cutie, I didn't get your name before." She said to her hero. Danny was frozen stiff for a few seconds until his mind registered that Supergirl was asking him a question. He took a quick breath and said "My name is Danny Fenton." "That's my boy." Jack said viewing the scene with pride. Supergirl froze again for a second. Then she got the biggest smile on her face. "You know, with some training, battle gear, and maybe a cool costume, you could definitely be a superhero, Danny." Danny was loving this. It seemed like Supergirl was almost flirting with him. They smiled at each other very goofy-like. "You and I certainly make a good team," she said. Beep Beep, beep! Supergirl turned her head to find her wrist communicator was going off. "Alert, alert Justice League emergency. Brainiac is in downtown Metropolis, repeat Brainiac is in downtown Metropolis!" The communicator announced. "Dang, way to cut into my fun." She thought to herself. She then reluctantly turned back to the boy who had saved her. "Sorry but I have to go. I would certainly like to stay, but my team needs me." She said with an urgent look on her face. Danny's smile faded, but since Danny was a hero too, he understood. "I understand. You're a superhero and people are in trouble. Besides you're probably getting bored here anyway. Anyway I'm no hero, I just got lucky. Even Tucker at least knew how to reprogram those robots." He said with a sad face. Supergirl was shocked. Then she gave the boy one more big smile. She turned to him again, "No, you're definitely a hero in my book. It took real courage to stand up to that ghost, and I also still stand by what I said before, you were a hero just for watching over us after Technus was defeated. You're amazing. And I wasn't lying when I called you cute either." She stated. "Wow, you really think so?" Danny asked. "Of course I do." Supergirl said. The smile returned to his face. She stopped to think. "Wait a minute, I have a fantastic idea!" she announced. She turned to look at him. "I have to run it by my cousin first, but I think I know a way to arrange for you to come visit me in Metropolis. I have to go quickly, but turn on Metropolis news tomorrow morning, and you just might get a surprise, Cutie!" Then she grabbed him and gave him one more cheek kiss for the road. "One way or another, I'm going to see you again, Danny count on it!" She gave him her cutest smile and then she jumped back into the sky. "Take care, Amity Park! I will be back!" Before anyone could blink, she was gone. Danny was still starstruck. Sam was angry as heck, she knew now she had a new competitor for the boy she liked, one who was faster than a speeding bullet.

The next morning, every middle and high school resident of Amity Park tuned into Metropolis News, to hear Supergirl's big announcement. Superman and Supergirl were live on TV with Lois Lane conducting the interview. Both Danny and Dash could not stop thinking about Supergirl. They were very eager to see her again. Dash was still convinced he had a chance with her. Supergirl filled Lois in on her entire incident with the ghosts. She then went on to say, "If you're watching this, Danny Fenton, I've got a special treat for you." She then put her hand up to her mouth and blew him a kiss. Danny saw this and couldn't help but blush. Lois and Superman then proceeded to make the big announcement- "This country tour safety assembly project, has been a huge success. Supergirl and I have met many amazing young teenagers and made many new friends. We wish we could extend an invitation to all of you, the mayor voted against it. But we got him to agree to a different deal. A special test will be sent to the top ten schools. Every student will have a fair and equal chance. This will be a test on the history of Metropolis and the two of us. Amity Park has been added to the list of course. No more than twelve students from each school will be allowed to come on the trip here. Only those who score the highest grade on the test, will be allowed to come. Now I know that most young students don't really like to study, however this is your chance to meet me and Supergirl face to face. So I'd say this time you'll want to study really hard! Especially you Danny Fenton!" Then Supergirl came back in and blew Danny another kiss. The News announcement quickly wrapped up. Soon every kid in Amity Park was quickly looking up information on the Kyptonian Heroes and Metropolis, getting ready for the exciting test.

Danny of course started studying hard, and Tucker quickly agreed to help. They called Sam to ask if she wanted to help too. Strangely enough her parents said she wasn't home. This made the boys very curious. Sam's mom had no idea where she was. Sam had actually gone over to Mikey's house. Though she was somewhat conflicted about this idea, she had convinced herself this was the only option. But why was she there? Meanwhile Dash Baxter was really upset. His dad had confiscated the computer from him. His parents told him his computer privileges were temporarily barred, as punishment for him harassing local hero Tucker Foley, who had saved the school. Dash argued saying that he was a middle school quarterback, and Tucker was a loser. This time his parents didn't listen. It had been on live news from Metropolis where they said Tucker had saved the school, so they declared his argument invalid. Dash was beyond frustrated. Sam had actually planned for these events. She had seen Dash bothering Tucker out of jealously for his new hero status. She had been sure his parents would punish him. Sam was definitely not acting like her usual self. With Mikey's incredible computer skills, and Sam properly motivating him by taking advantage of his crush on her, they quickly learned everything they needed to know for the test. However Sam didn't plan to use the answers for herself. She in fact planned to give the answers to someone else. She hid them inside a wooden barrel on the school's football field. Dash ended up finding them by accident-or so he thought. This was all part of Sam's plan. She had sent Dash an anonymous letter telling him where to look. Come Monday, to the shock of everyone in school , Dash passed the test with flying colors. Danny meanwhile had done okay on the test but ended up with only a B-. This might not have happened, had he not had to deal with a second Skulker attack over the weekend. This adventure wore Danny out and he wasn't able to finish studying. Now Dash was going to Metropolis and Danny was staying behind!

When Danny came home after school that day, he found all the lights turned off at home. He was very confused. He flicked on a light switch, only to hear his folks yell "Surprise!" The entire Living room and kitchen were decorated with banners and streamers, his mother, father, and sister all had party hats and noise makers. His Dad rushed over to him, "Join the party son, we're celebrating your big trip to Metropolis! It's a big extravaganza! We're so proud of you!" Jack said with a big smile on his face. Danny gave him a sour look. "Sorry Dad, no party I didn't get a high enough grade, Dash won the trip. I'll be in my room, sorry to spoil the party." He said and walked away from his family. Jack, Maddie, and Jazz, all looked really bummed. Then Jack had an idea! Under her parents' instructions Jazz called up Sam and Tucker, to ask them to come over and cheer Danny up. To her surprise, Tucker was unavailable. His parents said he had been invited to be on a big Talk show broadcast in honor of his heroism. They wanted to interview him about what it was like to save his entire school, and Supergirl from a ghost attack and Tucker just couldn't say no. Jazz then called Sam. As it turns out, Sam's parents sought to interfere again. They had tickets to this special rich people party and were insisting she go with them. Jazz told Sam that Danny was really upset and hadn't left his room in hours, he really needed a friend. Sam said she would do whatever she could to get there soon, but she had to lose her parents first.

At eight that night Jack and Maddie showed back up at Danny's bedroom door with another surprise. Sam finally showed up too, having gotten away from her parents. Danny was still very upset and not in a celebratory mood. Jack and Maddie proceeded to reveal their surprise. "Ta-Da!" said Jack, as he pulled the sheet off of the cart Maddie and he had wheeled up the stairs, to reveal a large old TV set. "Wait, this is my surprise?" said a very surprised Danny. "Your uncle Jed called from Alabama last weekend, and he told me he was getting rid of this old dinosaur. He asked me to help him move it out, so he could replace it with a new home theater system. We were going to send it in to Goodwill, but you certainly earned something special after your contribution to the recent capture of Technus and Skulker. Your mom and I talked about this a lot and we agreed you deserved a special reward but there are some conditions. First, no satellite hookup. If you want the Satellite channels you gotta use the family Tv when it's your turn to do so. Number two, no TV during dinner time. At dinner we still want you down here with us. Number three, make sure TV viewing doesn't get in the way of homework. If you have a lot of homework, no TV till it's done. Number four, no late night TV on school nights. Finally number five, if ever you find any news about a ghost you report it directly to your mom and me. So we can disassemble it molecule by molecule. Otherwise this TV's all yours!" Jack proudly said. Danny was smiling like a kid on Christmas. Then Sam made her move. "You know Danny, as long as I'm here already we could watch that dark seance series that I like so much which Tucker never wants to watch." She said while using a really perky smile to get her way. Danny was in such a good mood, he chose not to argue with her. Sam saw this as a trial romantic night for them. Later that evening, Sam started talking about plans for the summer, and other events she and Danny could watch together. He just seemed to go along with everything she said. When Sam left the house that night, she thought her plan had worked. She convinced herself that Danny had forgotten all about Supergirl and Metropolis, and she headed home with a big smile on her face.

"This concludes our coverage of the fight at City hall. A big salute to the four heroes who saved our city yesterday. Sports are up next, please stay tuned, Metropolis viewers." A reporter on TV said, back in the present. Danny turned off the TV. "That was incredible!" he said. He checked his notes and closed up his notebook. Then he kissed the corner and put it away. Sam was still going through a scene as she stared back at Danny back in Supergirl obsession mode. Sam finally snapped back to herself and said "Wait, what's going on here? I thought you only got local channels on here, Danny?" Danny turned around and shook his head. "Not anymore. My parents agreed to give me access to one more channel, Metropolis news network. I check it out everyday. I watch every single report I can, especially any that mentions Supergirl." He replied, still clueless about Sam's feelings. Tucker turned around too. "So you still have a crush on her?" he said. Danny smiled and said, "I think it's a little more than a crush now. I mean I don't know her that well, but she kissed me, not just once, but twice. And she blew me two kisses on TV as well. I think she likes me too. She said she's coming back to Amity Park soon, and I believe her. She's going to be here later this month. She wants to see me! I've even been doing more research, in fact if I took that test again, I'm sure I'd get a way better grade this time. I'm sure that B- was just a fluke. I don't have enough money to go to Metropolis right now but I'm going to meet up with her one way, or another. She likes me! She actually likes me and she's not after Danny Phantom, she's after Danny Fenton! She wants to see me, plain old me, not the Ghost boy! I feel fantastic. Hey, do you think the whole team will show up? Maybe I could get some Hero pointers. I can probably tell them all about my powers, they're probably good at keeping secrets." "Wait, this wasn't supposed to happen I planned it, I thought about everything. I planned all of this and somehow it fell apart." Sam thought and then instantly realized she had said it out loud. Her friends turned to her, and Danny's mood changed, "Planned what?" Danny asked, with a very different look on his face. Sam cringed. "Um, I kinda set some things up." She started to say, "I asked my parents to sell your uncle Jed the entertainment center. I planned to have us watch that seance event together that night. And I gave Dash the test answers." she confessed. Danny froze and so did Tucker. "Danny, I, ah, I planned this all for you and me to make you forget about Supergirl. She's probably just using you because your parents are ghost hunters and she wants to learn more about ghosts. She probably doesn't even like you that much." Tucker stood frozen stiff, having trouble grasping the situation. Danny suddenly had an even angrier look on his face "Get out! Leave this room right now!" he said pointing to the door. Sam froze. Then she said, "Wait, you don't understand, I'm not finished, I can explain everything. I," "No!" Danny cut her off. "I don't want to hear it. Go! This is the worst thing you have ever done. I don't even want to see you right now!" and this time he shouted his words very loudly and then Jazz opened the door. "I heard everything Sam, I've been listening since the television was turned off. I'm not happy either, get out!" She stated, equally upset. Tucker's face went sour, "Um, for the record, I didn't know anything about this, any of it." He spoke. Jazz and Danny looked at him and they believed him. "Okay Tucker, you can stay, but Sam ,you have to go. And that's final!" Jazz said very directly. "No, wait Jazz listen to me, I can explain, just give me one chance." Sam said. "No! Not today, you crossed a line. You want another chance, you have to earn it, and that's really final, get going!" Jazz stated firmly. Sam bowed her head and walked out the door, and starting to cry. "Where did I go wrong?" she thought to herself. "Wait, I did something wrong, did I? But," her thoughts were interrupted, as Danny's parents came up, "What's going on here?" Maddie said. Jazz looked at her mom, and stated the facts. "Mom, Sam crossed a line and betrayed Danny. She has to go right now, and for the time being she isn't welcome in this house anymore. Now escort her down the stairs and out the door. And don't dawdle. I'll deal with my brother." Maddie could tell her daughter was serious, and she did exactly as she asked. She grabbed Sam's arm and escorted her down the stairs, through the kitchen, and then out of the house. Back in Danny's room Jazz closed the door. "So, Tucker, do you have anything to talk about?" She said, since her brother was still upset and very quiet. Tucker froze for a second again and then he said, "Oh right, I brought over these reports about Gravity Falls. It's a small town in Oregon and there have been some strange sightings there lately. I thought Danny might be curious about them." He said. Jazz turned to her brother. He still looked very upset. "Um, Tucker, how about we look at those reports in my room. Danny needs some time alone, I think." "And you go right ahead and turn your TV back on, Danny. Find something to help you relax. We'll see you later." She said to her brother. Danny turned and breathed and said, "Thanks Jazz, thanks for backing me up and I think you're right I could use some time alone. I'll catch up with you later." Jazz and Tucker left the room. It started to rain and Sam had to walk home by herself and her makeup smeared as she cried and trudged home through the rain. The friendship was broken. Lines were crossed and the trio had changed to two. Things were changing in Amity Park, and this was only the beginning!

Across the world at the Grand Shogatu Airport, Team Guy arrived after five days of traveling. The Akatsuki had already left. Iruka Sensei was with them. He had gone in ahead to gather information. Iruka Sensei used his camouflage powers to sneak into the operations center and get the flight info. He retrieved all the information and some flight tickets and went back out to meet the others within six minutes. "I've got the information, and your tickets too." he said. "The Akatsuki are going to some place called Amity Park. It's in the United States, in Illinois. We don't know what they're up to but it has to be something dangerous. You have your orders. You better get going." Iruka stated and handed out four tickets for each member of the team. "You've got nothing to worry about. Team Guy is on the case, and we'll go anywhere we have to, to protect the hidden Leaf Village, isn't that right team?" Guy Sensei said with a big smile. "Right, you are, Sensei. Let's go! With the burning passion of youth, we will stop the Akatsuki and bring them back! You can count on us." Rock Lee said and proudly took his ticket. Neji and Tenten took their tickets as well and nodded to say they understood the mission. Iruka nodded at them too. "Lady Tsunade has made arrangements with some old friends and Ino Yamanaka, Kiba Inazuka, and Choji Akimichi will be coming with me as a second team on this mission. We will be escorting all the ninja tools with us, on a non-registered flight. We will meet you in Amity Park. Asuma and Shikamaru were unavailable and were on another mission of different importance. You will only have your regular ninja abilities and skills when you first encounter your opponents and that will have to be enough." He stated. "Not a problem, We probably won't even need your help. By the time you get there, we'll probably have everything taken care of!" Guy Sensei said smiling. Tenten handed Iruka Sensei the battle gear set. "Tell Ino she can call me when we're in the air. She has my cellphone number and the two of us can plan meetup details together. I will relay them to the rest of the team." Tenten told Iruka Sensei. "Fantastic. Glad to see you have a handle on things here Tenten. I'm very excited about this mission, myself. I don't get to go on a field assignment like this often, and I get to work with my old students again. It's going to be a very exciting experience. Too bad Naruto's not with us, but I'm sure he's doing something exciting too and we'll have some fabulous stories to tell him when it's over." Iruka said. Guy Sensei smirked and said "Oh there, will be fabulous stories indeed. We'll see you out there, my friend. Maybe we'll even see a ghost or two." Neji turned to his master, "A ghost?" he questioned. "Sure, haven't you heard? Amity Park is the most haunted place on Earth. There has been more ghost sightings there than anywhere on the planet. I always do my research." Guy Sensei said with another smirk. Neji stared strangely at his master, "You actually believe in ghosts?" Neji asked. "Why yes, I do. I've seen many things on my adventures, young student. I'm willing to believe a little bit in the supernatural and based on everything I've learned about Amity Park, I'd say it's primary ghost territory. They also say they have a ghostly superhero in this town. His name is Danny Phantom. He's been in many news articles and I've even seen a couple photos of him. I assure you, I have done thorough research on the subject." Guy stated. Neji looked to Tenten. "Um, a few years ago, Neji and I went on a mission with Naruto and Kakashi, and we heard rumors of a ghost, too, but it was all a ruse to kidnap the Prince and take over the kingdom. None of it was real. We saved the whole kingdom and captured the bad guys. There were no ghosts. We've never believed in them." She said. "Well, that didn't happen in Amity Park, now did it? Now keep an open mind, my students. We don't know what we will see on this adventure. Be ready for anything!" He replied with another smirk. His students all faced him and just decided to salute. It was time to get moving, and this conversation was going nowhere. So they just decided to drop it for now. Iruka Sensei then said, "Alright everyone, my team and I will see you in Amity Park. Good luck to you all, and watch out for the Akatsuki and the ghosts too, I suppose." He flashed a smile and disappeared with a ninja trick. Team Guy proceeded to head into the airport to meet up with their plane. Tenten sighed, wondering what she had really signed up for, and what this mission would truly be like. Team Guy entered the airport, and the students found some seats, while Guy Sensei checked them in and cleared everyone's bags. Their adventure was just beginning.

A couple hours later, Iruka Sensei arrived at an internet café, where his students were waiting. As he was about to enter, Ino ran outside, unexpectedly to greet him. She had spotted him through the window, and was surprised. "Iruka Sensei, you're back. Wow, that was quick." She replied and saluted her master. "Ino, it's good to see you. Where are your teammates?" he asked. "They're taking Akamaru for a quick walk before he gets on the plane. Kiba insisted that Akamaru needed the exercise. They left a few minutes ago. Choji was very frustrated because they don't have any barbecue food here. I finally got him to eat a muffin but he wasn't happy about it. He drives me nuts sometimes." she stated. "He even complained when I picked this place out, acting like it was beneath him or something. They don't have chips here either. They don't even have anything salty. Choji insisted this place was low quality because of this. I didn't even understand his logic, but yeah, it hasn't been fun. Although I've been enjoying the research. That turned out pretty interesting, actually." She stated and her face changed as she talked. Suddenly she had a very strange smile on her face. Iruka Sensei was surprised as he saw Ino smile. "Ino, I haven't seen you smile like that in a long time. I think the last time I saw you smile like that was with Sasuke." He said. "Sasuke who? He's old news. I'm thinking about Danny Phantom!" She replied. "Wait, I've heard that name before. Guy Sensei was talking about him. Are you saying he's real?" Iruka Sensei asked. "He's not just real, he's cute! He's very cute and he's single!" She said with a big smile on her face. "He's handsome and very heroic. And he's about to meet me!" "He's incredible and I'm going to make sure that I make a good impression on him. I don't need Sai or Sasuke as long as I've got Danny Phantom!" She went on to say. Iruka Sensei froze and then scratched his head. "Wait, Sai? Naruto's new teammate? You had a thing for him too?" he asked. Ino nodded. "Yeah he's kinda cool and mysterious and he even called me gorgeous once, but that's old news! Danny Phantom's the official new hot topic! Sai hasn't even asked me out yet, but I will make sure Danny Phantom does!" She stated with determination. Iruka Sensei froze and scratched his head again. After a while, he said, "Um ,you realize that's not what this mission is about, right? The Akatsuki are going to Amity Park and we have to be ready to fight them. I need you at the top of your game, okay?" He stared at her as he asked this question. "Yeah, I hear you. I'll be ready to fight. I can multi-task. I got this." She stated. "Good. And remember the Akatsuki are our first priority above all else, got that?" He asked. "Yes sir!" she said. "Good, now can you show me a picture of this Danny Phantom? I'd like to see him for myself." Her sensei said. "No problem, I saved one on my phone! Here you go." Ino said. She went through her files and selected the picture and handed her phone to him. Iruka Sensei took a good look and said, "Hunh, so this is Danny Phantom? He might actually be the new target of the Akatsuki! This mission just got a whole lot more complicated."

To be continued!
