B&B OF LOVE AND FUN-22

Hello everyone. Thank you for all your reviews. I know that e-mail notifications are still broken, but I can still see your reviews, so it's not bad. Today we are going to continue yesterday's chapter and Elsie and Beryl can have their portion of fun, plus discuss something important. Hope you will like it.

Elsie and Beryl were sitting in the kitchen, drinking their tea, although it was not their main focus in this moment. They were literally bursting with laughter, after Elsie repeated the story to Beryl.. Beryl laughed so hard, that she had tears in her eyes...

"Oh dear...So he was really so outraged with it...Just be glad, that he didn't tell them to pack their things and go away..."

"You know Charles...He is crazy about propriety, but I could hardly stop myself from laughing...He would feel insulted if I did..He already had a problem with the newlyweds kissing outside their room, but to hear something like this...I told him to take a nap and relax...

"So how did you manage to calm him down?"

"I reminded him our honeymoon...But please don't tell him that I said that..."

"I promise...I bet that it was a convincing argument..."

"It was...But I'm just going to leave it at that..."

"Oh no...And it just started to get interesting..."

"Beryl! I ask you...I'm so glad, that you are getting married soon. Can't wait for all the jokes, that I will do about your marriage..."

"I bet that you will make fun of me..Of us...That's the first time I said us...It's difficult to get use to..."

"I know exactly what you mean Beryl...Getting married in our age, takes a lot of new things to get used to...It's not easy when you were your own captain for so many years..."

"It's not.."

"But once the awkward part is over, I can highly recommend marriage..."

"I believe you...We have known each other for many years and I have never seen you that happy..."

"Charles is not an easy man to live with, but I do love this old booby of mine..."

"And I love Mr Mason...I just hope, that we will adjust quickly to living together..."

"Speaking of which...I was meant to ask you...Are you going to live here?"

"We were wondering about that too...Initially, he wanted me to move into the farm, but with the way our B&B is going, I think that it would not be a good solution.."

"Yes, we are not lacking of work, that's for sure...I think that Mr Mason should move here, to live with you..."

"You and Charles wouldn't have anything against that?"

"Of course, we wouldn't...He has been helping us from day one, delivering milk, eggs, cheese and other products...He will be more than welcome, to live here with us and it will be so much better for you... I know, that sometimes you felt a little lonely watching me and Charles..."

"That's true, I did, but now I will no longer feel that way...Mr Mason still wants to work in the farm, but he thinks that it's a better idea to leave Daisy and Andy alone...They just got married and they also need a little bit of privacy, as our newlyweds..."

"Speaking of which Beryl...I was thinking, that we should remake this storage area in the, attic to the room for Katie...Since Mr Mason will move here and you will also be newlyweds, Katie should not be so close to you...What do you think?"

"You think that it's a good idea?"

"Yes...I'm sure Mr Mason and Charles will quickly manage to remake the room...After you will marry,, you will need a quiet time alone, to develop the intimate side of your marriage..."

"Elsie, please...I know that you are dying to have your fun, but I'm not even sure if he wants it..."

"You mean you haven't discussed it with him?"

"How could I possibly? You know from your own experience, that it's not easy to discuss such things... So I was wondering, if maybe you..."

"Oh no Beryl...Don't even look at me...If I wasn't able to discuss it with Charles, I will certainly not be able to discuss it with Mr Mason..."

"I'm not even sure, if there will be something to discuss...I don't know if he wants me that way..."

"Believe me Beryl, that he definitely does...I may not be very experienced in the area, but I can see how he is looking at you...He wants you very much..."

"Why do I have some doubts then?"

"I also had doubts, remember? I was afraid, that Charles will not find me attractive enough, that my body will not be appealing..."

"But he dfinitely wanted you very much...I can still remember, how beautifully he explained to me how much he wants that...And I gather, that you are not regretting your decision Elsie?"

"Not even for a moment Beryl...That is precisely why I'm telling you, that you should know this side of marriage too...Do not deprive yourself of that, because of your complexes..."

"Easy for you to say Elsie...You are much more beautiful than me and you always were..."

"Beryl! That's not true! Whoever gave you such idea?"

"How about all the village widowers, or the suppliers who came to Downton..They were always glancing at you, never at me..."

"That's because you were always hidden in the kitchen and I was on the first front...You are very beautiful Beryl and you have good heart and that is what caused Mr Mason falling in love with you... Besides, you are forgetting about the important advantage, that you have over me..."

"And what's that?!"

"You know how to cook..."

Elsie and Beryl looked at each other and bursted with laughter once more...

"That's true...You still have a place for improvement in that area Elsie...I bet, that even Charles thinks so..."

"He definitely does...I will say more, I bet that sometimes when he was eating dishes that I cooked for him, he was wishing, that he married you instead of me..."

"I wouldn't go that far Elsie...He likes to eat and he likes my kitchen, but he is crazy about you and I have a sneaking suspicion, that you are rewarding him for the lack of your cooking skills with something else..."

"That will be my little secret Beryl"

Elsie smiled mysteriously and even though Beryl would be willing to develop the subject, she had to let it go, especially after Katie entered the kitchen...

"Everything all right Katie?"- Elsie asked kindly...

"Yes Mrs Carson...I just spoke with Mr and Mrs Rochester...They are going for a short walk now, but after that, they will be ready to have dinner..."

"And that means that we have work to do. I bet that they will have a great appetite -Beryl was finishing her tea and she winked to Elsie.

"They are so nice...I'm glad, that they decided to spend their honeymoon here...It's been a while, since we hosted someone closer to my age..."-Katie was clearly happy, about having a nice chat with the newlyweds.

"They are indeed very nice...I hope, that they will bring only good memories from this honeymoon..." - Elsie said..."It must be difficult for you Katie to spend times only with our trio...Bunch of old fossils.."

"Hey! Speak for yourself! I still feel very young!"-Beryl was clearly outraged with Elsie's remark...

"You see that Katie? Your aunt is getting married soon and she already is acting, like she is a young girl again..."

Katie and Elsie smiled widely, while Beryl still pretended to be outraged...

"Thanks for asking Mrs Carson, but I really do love living with you here..."

"I know that you do, but I think, that you should meet some young people from time to time too... I know, that there are afternoon tea dances in the village...I will make sure that you will attend it..."

"And who is going to do all the work in the B&B?"-Beryl asked...

"We will manage Beryl, we will manage...Give your niece a little break...We all need some sort of fun from time to time...Don't we?''

"That we do Elsie, that we do..."

That's all for this chapter...Charles was absent this time, still relaxing after a shock that he experienced ;-) It was nice to have a girl talk and apart from having some good laughter, few important things have been discussed too...Hope you liked this chapter...Thanks for reading, reviewing and sticking with the story...Have a wonderful week!
