Chapter 1308 Rachel's blessing
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
In the ocean a boat goes foward heading towards the Queen Zenobia.
It was a gold, white and blue hoverboat as it stops close but has some distance.
"This is the area." Someone said on a voice that sounded like they're underwater.
The boat looks at the ship as it waited for the time it can be of help.
A water serpent came out and the person got surprised.
"Wow!" He moves out as it tried to get to him. "I never expected for more to be here."
But then a big fist knocks it away.
Then it pointed at the boat. "Just stand by and i'll handle these things, I needed something to punch either way."
"What about the laser?" The boat said.
"I delt with that without them knowing." The guy underwater said.
At the FBC
The leader was checking a computer for a laser satelite that would have destroyed his base.
But then he got an error. "What? How?"
Morgan was in shock since this stopped the destruction of the ship.
"This shouldn't be possible." He said.
Back at the ship
The group went through the hallways and Jill fixed the antenna up.
"Sir." She contacted her superior.
"Jill, we're glad to hear you. It was all set up." He said.
"A set up? What's going on?" Parker said.
"Theres no time, it seems something stopped an attack on the ship, so it's best you try to wait until Chris can arrive."
"Chris is alive." Jill smiles.
"Well good to hear about him." Zack said.
Jill ends the call and they went down.
Alex was still frowning on all of this.
"Easy big guy, we'll get your girl." Parker said.
A big creature came down and it a ooze with a blade like arm.
"Shit!" Jill shoots at it.
It swings it's blade making them dodge as they opened.
It grunted and slashes many times before a rocket destroyed it.
They saw Alex carrying his rocket launcher with a face that says he's not taking this shit.
"Okay, overkill." Zack said.
Alex goes foward without saying anything as they stared at him.
"Well the guy just lost his girl, it must really hurt, even more when she has his baby." Parker said.
"Let's hope he can keep it in." Leonidas said.
They went down to the main hall and saw a guy in a FBC shirt called Raymond.
"Well you two managed to survive, who's the other guys?" He said.
"And he is?" Zack said.
"Raymond, he works for FBC and is Rachel's partner." Parker said.
Alex eyes widen hearing that.
"Rachel, how do you know guys know about her?" He said.
Alex grabs Raymond by his neck and slams him against a pillar shocking him.
"Did you sent Rachel?!" Alex glares at him.
Raymond grunted in pain.
"Who sent here?!" He demanded.
"It wasn't me." Raymond spoke with a raspy.
Zack his arm making Alex look at his eyes. "Let him go."
Alex looked at him before dropping Raymond.
Raymond took a deep breath before Parker helps him up.
"Sorry, but Rachel's his girl." Parker said.
"Your the guy she was boasting, Rachel was saying she was going to quit to become a stay at home wife." Raymond rubs his neck.
Alex frowns hearing that.
"I'm going after her." Alex headed back down.
"What?! She's gone!" Raymond said.
"Love can do crazy things." Zack said as they followed him.
Raymond shakes his head as he followed the group too.
They went down back to where Rachel was at as they shoot many ooze creatures that came.
"Doesn't these things fall." Zack frowns.
"It was a large cruise." Parker said.
"Found you." They heard her voice.
"Rachel." Alex said.
"Well just remember to shoot her if you see her." Raymond said.
Rachel comes out with many opening fire on her.
Alex stares at her as she looks at him.
"Alex..." She goes towards him.
"She still remembers him." Leonidas was surprised.
Rachel charges at Alex but he looks away before shooting her back.
Her wounds healed and because of her body healing each time her stomach grew.
Leonidas noticed it. "It's accelerating faster."
Rachel grunts and roars, but then she started to scream in pain holding herself.
"It hurts!" She said.
"What?" Raymond said.
"Oh my god." Jill said.
Rachel runs to the side holding on to herself.
"Where's she going?" Zack said.
Everyone was worried to what happened next or is she retreating.
But then they heard a baby crying.
"Her water broke!" Jill said.
"Rachel's pregnant?!" Raymond was surprised.
Alex goes to where she went and the mutated Rachel was on the ground and at her side was a baby that's blonde and he looked human.
The others came to see the baby too.
"Oh my god..." Raymond was stunned.
"The baby looks... Normal." Zack said.
Jill was in disbelief. "How did avoid being mutated in Rachel's womb?"
Leonidas looks at Alex. "Maybe Alex's genes helped."
Alex goes to the baby and lifted him up and smiles.
Raymond has a rueful look. "That's something you don't see everyday."
Leonidas subdued Rachel and restrains her. "Okay, the pain was too much so i'll be taking her for safety reasons."
"What are doing with her?" Parker said.
"Well I helped a mutated girl revert back, mostly normal so i'll do the same to Rachel." He said.
"What!" Parker was surprised.
"She will finally be back to normal..." Jill said.
"Just the fact her mind went as far to keep her baby safe means she isn't lost. Also since the baby was born out of Rachel, he could be immune to this virus from her." Leonidas said.
"This is groundbreaking news..." Parker said.
"Yes, so his anti bodies could be used as a cure to fight this." Leonidas said.
Jill looks at Rachel. "Of course, Rachel wasn't fighting for survival, she was protecting her baby. So when she ran was because she didn't want her to be harmed."
Raymond stares at the scene. "Rachel is something."
Alex holds his son and finds a cloth to wrap around him. "I'll call him Richie."
His son looks at him and Richie puts a hand on his face making the baby curious.
Raymond was seperated and he makes a call.
The person on the other line was Wesker.
"So you got the sample." Wesker said.
"Yes, but something surprising happened." Raymond said.
"What?" Wesker said.
"Remember my partner Rachel, well... She was pregnant when she got infected by the ooze." Raymond said.
Wesker got surprised. "Are you serious?"
"Yes, and the baby didn't mutate into a ooze, instead it's immune to the virus." Raymond said.
Wesker freezes in shock. "It can't be!"
"I was surprised, it's gotta be the luckiest baby in the world to be immune to the T-Abyss." Raymond said.
Wesker got angry and concerned. "You fool! Don't you realize that Leonidas now has access to a cure for the T-Abyss?"
"What am I supposed to do, his father is that muscle bound gorilla Alex." Raymond said.
"Damn it all!" Wesker curses.
He exhales in frustration and takes a moment to think.
"I have thought of a solution but pay close attention."
"Okay." Raymond said.
Note: The group managed to recover Rachel as her baby came out safe, the birth scene was not shown just for those that think, and Richie has the cure for the T-Abyss after being inside of Rachel.
