Percy of Universe 1 woke up the next morning to the sound of Annabeth's emergency phone going off. He felt his partner untangle herself from around him. He moaned in protest and tried to pull her back.

"Percy, it could be about the us in the other universe. We should at least answer." She gently scolded him as she got up.

"But it was so warm." Percy complained as he girlfriend made her way to the safe with the phone inside. The safe was made from Celestial Bronze and usually kept the monsters from detecting the mobile device. It was a precaution they had started using since Estelle was born. They did not want to risk Percy's little sister to a random monster attack. The monsters would avoid most mortals but she reeked of the son of the sea god after all. Better to be safe than sorry. He covered his head with the pillow as Annabeth took the call. Then he felt her hand stroking his back.

"Get up Percy. We are expecting at Olympus in ten minutes."

Percy sat up. "And how are we going to get across town to the Empire state building that quickly?"

Annabeth sighed. "Apollo is coming for us in his chariot."

Percy sighed. "I hope he doesn't set the block on fire." He grabbed his shirt and slipped it on. The two of the dressed quickly and were waiting when the sun chariot arrived. Mortality had really done wonders for Apollo as he had somehow made it so the chariot would not combust the buildings around them.

"Hey you two." The sun god smiled from his seat. "Get in. Percy, you take the driver's seat. I did promise you. Don't worry, Zeus won't dare and swat us out of the sky today."

Percy was excited. Thalia had gotten to drive the chariot back when he was thirteen and now he was finally getting a chance. He had Annabeth riding shotgun and giving him advice as he drove the sun to Olympus. He almost had a perfect landing. Shame about the statue of Ares he squished in his descent.

"Well, look at it this way. Ares cannot possibly hate you anymore than he already does." Apollo laughed. "I'll tell him it was me though. Say the statue looked at me funny. He'll believe it."

Percy grinned and clasped Apollo on the shoulder. "Thanks, Lord Apollo."

Apollo laughed. "Please, just Apollo or Lester to my friends. Come on, best to not keep the others waiting."

Annabeth lowered her voice as they approached the meeting place. "Wish we could turn certain other gods into mortals and have them go on a series of dangerous quests to change their world view."

Apollo smiled mischievously. "Perhaps one day, Daughter of Athena. I can think of one in particular that should go through it."

They arrived and found all the gods in their normal sized human forms and various pajamas. They had an assortment throughout the ages. All of their friends from both camps and the hunters were there as well. There was a massive crystal screen split into two segments showing darkness.

"What are we looking at?" Percy asked Frank as he pulled the Praetor into a hug.

"Hey man. Looks like the transported versions of you and Annabeth are still sleeping. Time is not one to one there, so who knows what time is on that end."

Percy nodded. "I understand. I guess we wait."

Piper handed Annabeth a bun as she joined them. "Not looking forward to seeing myself being forced into a relationship by my mother again." She admitted.

"I'm sure the me in Universe 2 will make a plan." Annabeth said. "She'll get you to realize you don't swing that way."

Piper smiled gratefully. "Thanks for having my back, Annabeth."

There was a loud cough the god's section. It seemed like one of them was waking up.

Note: I will not be doing interludes too often. Mainly for big changes to the time line most likely. I wanted to get this set up now before starting work on the first real big chapter. See you next time for the official first chapter of the redo series!
