The world is going to end soon. This would have not happened otherwise. Seriously. Ch3? WTF?!

PJO belongs to RR. Luna belongs to Marsalad.

Percy didn't even scream. He wanted to but he could not. It was as if his mouth had just gone numb due to the shock. He couldn't bear it. What did he do wrong? Was he not supposed to save the deer? His thoughts conflicted about his choice, but not for long, as he fell unconscious on the floor.

The deer looked in the distance, its eyes fixated on a single spot. The huntress for absolutely no reason. And that is an unforgivable deed.

Earlier That Night:

Artemis felt it. Her Hind getting injured. She could sense its power from miles away from her tent. But that wouldn't be needed as he landed nearby from his fall so she won't even have to worry about it. The nearer her Hind is to her, the more immortal it becomes. After all, a sacred animal shouldn't die, should it?

But the rather concerning thing was, that her Hind landed in a forest, that she had no idea about. How she could have missed such a densely thick forest, she had no idea. Even she wasn't aware of it until one of her huntresses talked about how she stumbled upon it accidentally. After checking it out with her hunters, she realized this forest was way too dense for it was as if it was invisible to the mortals, themselves. Forests are one of the few things that mortals can see.

Nevertheless, it was time for their next hunt. Zeus has asked her and her hunt to hunt down a pack of wild Crocotta. Really, you'd think he would assign something dangerous to her hunt like the Namean Lion or The Chimera but he is asking her to basically round up a pack of wolves.

What has the time become?

"M'lady, the hunt is ready to leave.' her lieutenant, and friend, Zoe Nightshade, informed her

Artemis sighed once, clearing her thoughts before closing her eyes and sensing her hunters.

"This is strange," Artemis said after a while. One of her hunters, Tamirah, was near her, now recovered, hind, and was slowly approaching back. This wouldn't have been a problem if her sacred animal wasn't following her back. She knew it could just teleport if it wanted to come near her hunt. But he was specifically following her as if she did something to it that made it angry.

"What's wrong M'lady?" Zoe asked her, sensing her confusion.

"Nothing, I'm just wondering," Artemis replied. "Zoe, can you bring Tamirah here?" she asked her after a while, to which Zoe immediately replied positively and went out of her tent.

Ah, Tamirah. Artemis thought. What did you do this time?

Out of all the hunters, everyone usually says that Zoe or Pheobe hates the men more than anyone because they are older than everyone and one of the first to be recruited, but if someone asked Artemis, her immediate response would be either Tamirah or Natasha. Even then, Natasha can work with different people if forced to, but Tamirah…that girl would rather end the world than work with men.

She was the type of girl Artemis had never seen. Recently, they found a girl Luna, crying alone in her forest, mumbling something about David, her mother, sisters, and even Zoe. When Artemis went to consult her, she would just retract herself and start trashing around to get away from her, shouting something about killing her mother even though she had never killed a girl since the Roman era.

Then she would start screaming for someone named David, a boy no less, to save her. After a while of trying, Tamirah, shot an arrow into the girl's throat, silencing her forever without asking for her permission. When she asked her furiously to explain herself, Tamirah replied calmly yet with a venom of a thousand snakes, "She is obviously hypnotized by a male so badly, that she is rejecting the goddess of the moon! Did she not?" Everyone remained silent. "Exactly. These kinds of women are not worthy of living. And I thought this hunt had no room for people associated with men, Artemis. Or did I hear wrong?"

Artemis always told her to hunt to talk to her as an equal, yet they always called her 'M'lady' for respect. Even then, if someone spoke her name like this, she wouldn't mind. But with such venom, it was something even Artemis could not tolerate. She immediately cast Tamirah out of her main hunt to one of her other substitute hunter groups who hunt globally.

Her main hunt moves too much around and near the city, and Tamirah is exactly the kind of girl that kills on sight. As much as Artemis hated men, even she wouldn't kill every man in her sight for just existing. But who can blame the girl? Artemis thought. Tamirah grew up in a house with her single dad. Who abused her until she had to kill him. Then her orphanage and foster dad also turned out to be the same. That girl had nothing but torture with men, and that shaped her whole view.

Artemis usually stayed with each part of her hunt at least once a week. Of course most of the time she stayed with her main hunt. But she regularly checked on the rest of her hunt, sometimes with Zoe or otherwise alone. Today, she was visiting her hunt in the parts of Canada, just at the edge of Olympus' control, in case any monster thought of escaping their territory and causing trouble among other pantheons. Right now, they were in a forest on the outskirts of the boundary. There was a small town nearby, but nothing other than that for miles. Everything was on the mainland. But because of that, this forest was definitely thriving more than many she had seen in the modern world. Where did all the lush greens go in the last century or so?

"M'lady?" a voice called to her, breaking her deep connection with her thoughts.

Artemis turned around and saw Zoe, with a brown-skinned girl with short hair.

Tamirah

"M'lady. You called?" Tamirah spoke, her soft melodious voice waking all the sleeping critters nearby, bringing them towards her.

She always had the most beautiful voice. Artemis thought. It's surprising how experience can change you. She could bet that no one would expect this girl to have a hate for music and fun

"Yes, Tamirah. I did. I wanted to know why were you near my hind?" Artemis asked.

Zoe seemed surprised, that she missed the majestic steed near her but Tamirah remained unfazed, her Lavenderblush eyes becoming cold.

"I was just passing by, M'lady. Nothing else." She replied coldly.

Artemis narrowed her eyes towards Tamirah. She knew that the girl was lying and the huntress knew that as well. Yet, she did not falter. Artemis was about to ask her again when she heard another one of her hunters calling her to come out.

Artemis gazed over Tamirah one more time, but the stubborn girl still did not falter, so she moved out of the awkward tent, Zoe and Tamirah following her from behind.

As soon as she came out, she immediately realized why her hunters were calling for her.

In front of her, was her majestic Steed. In all his glory.

And on top of him, was a passed-out boy, no more than 9 years old.

Lavender blush is a really cute color. Originally, this chapter was going to contain both Artemis' view and Tamirah's (Which is going to now shown in the next chapter) but I thought to split them up. So here's Artemis, chilling around and complaining about how Zeus asking her to kill low-life monsters.

If someone notices something wrong like a mistake in writing and whatnot, do tell me.

Tamirah is...messed up. Really. View her like a Disney Princess gone wrong. Cause that's what she is.

Now, on the more...surprising part. Many of you would recognize the part about Luna, Im sure you will. The thing is, I really loved that fic(Check it out if you haven't. "RM: Rise Of The Warlord's Child") and wanted to include it. It felt a good way to give an ending to Luna like she came to this world by mistake and was slowly fading because she did not belong here. And Tamirah just fast-forwarded the process by killing her. It's nothing big. So Marsalad, if you're reading this, please don't sue me. The only reason I did not ask your permission was because I did not know whether you would respond or not.

Please like and review, they are what I live for. Criticism is fine if it talks about something that is meant to help me. Not junk and garbage talk about my fic.

As always, peace out!

Oh, and I'm not doing Zoe's middle English. How many authors do you know who'd rather keep her like that?(I know, its many, but I don't care). I'm a math genius, not a language expert.
