As I slowly opened my eyes, I found myself in an unfamiliar environment. It was a small glass chamber with a few basic furnishings - a toilet, a table, and a strange-looking bed - and there I was, the only occupant. As I tried to make sense of my surroundings, I noticed a checklist placed on the table in front of me. Confused and disoriented, I couldn't help but wonder what was going on.
Suddenly, a voice interrupted my thoughts. "Hello, and welcome to Aperture Laboratories," the voice said. "If you are a non-employee who has discovered this facility amid the ruins of civilization, welcome! And remember: Testing is the future, and the future starts with you. Testing will begin automatically in three, two, one." The voice caught me off guard, and the mention of the "ruins of civilization" only added to my confusion. Before I could even process what was happening, an orange portal opened up on the solid wall. I turned around and saw myself from a different angle. I was a dragon, with scales that shimmered in the light, ranging from a deep red to a bright orange. My wings were large and powerful, allowing me to soar through the air with ease, and my sharp talons and teeth would make any enemy think twice before crossing me.
As I stood there, still trying to make sense of my situation, I noticed the same thing happening on the other side of the wall. Without hesitation, I walked through the portal and found myself outside the glass box. The other portal was blue. I walked around a corridor surrounding the glass box, and it became clear that this place was designed for humans.
As I explored further, I came across a door with a human figure on it. The door opened on its own, and I walked in. Inside, I saw a platform with a door beside it, and inside a tube, there was a cube. When the tube opened up, the cube dropped out. I retrieved the cube and placed it onto the platform, still trying to piece together the puzzle of my strange circumstances. As I approached the second door, I noticed that it was identical in design to the first one. With a hiss and a click, the door slid open of its own accord, just like the one before it. I stepped through the threshold and into the room beyond, eager to explore what lay ahead.
As I approached my destination, I couldn't wait to see what awaited me. However, to my utter disappointment, I was greeted by a clear, cylinder-shaped object. It appeared to be a sort of entrance or door, as it slowly slid open instead of twisting like a conventional door. As I attempted to enter it, I realized that I was too big to fit inside. Despite my best efforts, I couldn't squeeze myself into the narrow opening. Frustrated, I decided to remove the object and fly down to the ground instead.
As I cautiously made my way to the next area, my heart pounding in my chest, a loud, mechanical voice suddenly blared through the speakers, startling me. "What have you done to my testing area?!" The voice boomed, echoing off the walls and sending shivers down my spine. I froze, not knowing how to respond.
The voice spoke with a commanding tone, "Never mind that, but make sure you don't ruin anything else, creature." As the words echoed in my ears, I felt a surge of anger rise within me. I tried to speak up, but to my dismay, I realized that I couldn't find my voice. Panic set in as I frantically searched for my voice, but no matter how hard I tried, I remained silent. The voice continued to speak, but I was unable to respond or make any remarks.
As I continued my journey, I stumbled upon a new room that immediately caught my attention. The room had clear walls that allowed me to see through them and observe my surroundings. It was equipped with button platforms that seemed to be essential for the completion of the chamber. In the room, there were two cubes that I assumed I would need to use later. Without any hesitation, I tackled the chamber, and to my surprise, I was able to complete it with ease.
As I approached the end of the room, a robotic voice greeted me and informed me that there was a clear cylinder that would take me to the next level. I quickly made my way towards the cylinder, eager to see what the next challenge would be. However, as I got closer, I realized that the cylinder was an elevator that I would have to fit myself in. I took a deep breath and managed to squeeze myself inside, feeling uncomfortable but determined to make progress. With that, I left the room and continued onward in my journey.
