Halloween Nightmare
Before you read: This oneshot is another Halloween special for the Danny Phantom series. If they made another season I could maybe picture this happening. Plus it would be Danielle's first Halloween so it would be interesting. Enjoy.
It was the day of Halloween and things were calm and peaceful at Casper High, which was decorated for the holiday. High above the school Danny was floating in the air in his ghost form as he fought an Ectopus, which waved its tentacles around as it shrieked at Danny.
Danny glared daggers at it as he said, "Okay gruesome, I'm in a really good mood right now, so I'll go easy on you."
He flew at the Ectopus and punched it in the face, then he grabbed its tentacles and whirled it around before throwing it away. He then shot a beam of ecto-energy from his left finger and hit the Ectopus as it cried in pain, then Danny flew at it and kicked it.
He then floated in the air, glared at the ghost, and pointed his thumb to the side as he said, "Now get your ecto butt back in the Ghost Zone before I get really scary."
The Ectopus then complied as it flew away in fear while Danny smiled proudly as he patted his hands to wipe stuff off of them.
As he did this he victoriously said, "Happy Halloween spook."
He kept smiling as he flew back down with a ghostly tail and then phased into the school through the ceiling.
Meanwhile, Tucker and Sam were walking through the halls as Tucker happily said, "Oh yeah! It's here! Tonight's Halloween! This is gonna be great!"
Sam smiled at Tucker as she said, "You've got plans for trick-or-treating tonight?"
Tucker smiled as he swiped his left hand through the air and said, "Nah, I'm done with that. I'm planning on spending a romantic spooky night with Valerie."
Suddenly Danny came up to them in his human form with a big smile as he happily said, "Guys! Guys! I did it! I talked to my parents, and they said 'yes'!"
Sam immediately got excited as she said, "Really?! They did?!"
Danny smiled as he held up his finger and said, "Yeah! My parents said I can have a Halloween party, as long as we don't make a big mess."
Tucker smiled as he happily said, "Sweet!"
Dash suddenly came up to them, having overheard them, and he smiled hopefully as he asked, "Hold up, did you just say party?"
Danny smiled as he pointed his thumb at himself and said, "Yeah. My parents are going out ghost hunting so they said I could have a Halloween party."
Dash smiled with his eyes shut as he raised his fists then cupped his mouth while he exclaimed, "Awesome! Hey everyone, Halloween party at Fenton's!"
All the students in the hallway happily cheered as they threw their arms into the air while Danny, Tucker, and Sam smiled happily.
They stopped cheering when Lancer came and sourly said, "Alright, enough cheering kids. It's time to get to class."
The kids groaned and whined as they started walking to class while Sam happily said, "This is going to be great! I love Halloween! It's the one day of the year when my parents let me dress exactly how I want and they accept my goth nature!"
Tucker smiled happily as he raised his finger and said, "And don't forget about the candy."
Danny smiled at his friends as he happily agreed and said, "You said it Sam! This is going to be the best Halloween ever! And the best part is, there are no ghosts around to ruin it for us!"
He and his friends started walking to class, unaware that they were being watched as Nocturne stood outside and spied on them through a window.
He smiled evilly as he said, "Have your fun ghost boy, for soon you will have something to truly be afraid of."
Opening theme
The title card showed an image of Danny, Tucker, Sam, and Valerie staring up in fear at Nocturne, who smiled down evilly at them with pumpkins everywhere. It was early in the evening at Fenton Works, the sun had not gone down yet and Danny was in the living room getting ready for his Halloween party. He was floating in the air in his ghost form as he finished setting up the decorations while also setting up tables with food and beverages. Danny smiled as he floated with his wrists on his sides when suddenly he heard the doorbell ring and he flew to answer it. He saw Tucker, Sam, and Valerie standing on the front porch, dressed for the party; Tucker was wearing his mayor outfit, Valerie wore her battle suit, and Sam was dressed as a vampire. She wore fake fangs, a vampire cape, and she wore a long black dress with long sleeves that hung from her arms.
Danny smiled as he let them in and said, "Hey guys, glad you could make it."
They walked in and looked around as Valerie smiled at Danny and said, "Wow Danny, the place looks great."
Danny smiled as he floated toward them and happily said, "Thanks Val. You guys look great too."
Tucker smiled proudly as he held his suit and said, "Thanks dude, I wanted to wear something nice for the occasion."
Valerie smiled proudly as she looked down at her suit and said, "And I wanted to wear something tough enough to scare even a ghost."
Danny smiled as he pointed at Valerie before turning to Sam while he said, "Oh, that's a look that would scare any ghost Valerie. And Sam, you look awesome."
Sam smiled before looking evil as she held her arms up and said, "Thanks Danny. I'm finally a true creature of the night. Hey, if I bit your neck, would you turn into a vampire even though you're already a ghost?"
Danny chuckled at Sam's joke as he said, "How about a kiss instead?"
Sam smiled as she said, "That works too."
Danny planted a small kiss on her lips and she smiled back at him while Tucker and Valerie watched them both.
Valerie smiled with her hands on her hips as she snidely said, "Honestly, I don't see much difference from how you always dress."
Tucker smiled coyly as he pointed at Sam and said, "Yeah, in fact, Sam looks more like herself than she usually does."
Valerie chuckled at Tucker's joke while Sam smiled smartly and said, "Well at least I'm being more creative. I'm the only one actually wearing a costume."
Just then, Jazz walked downstairs and smiled as she asked, "Hey guys. What do you think of my costume?"
They all looked at Jazz with surprise as they saw her wearing a white lab coat and a pair of glasses on her face.
The others were confused as Tucker asked, "What are you supposed to be?"
Jazz looked down at herself as she answered, "I'm a scientist."
Sam was not amused as she sarcastically said, "Oh yeah. That's really scary."
Jazz was not deterred as she smiled and said, "I'm planning on setting a positive example for the other trick-or-treaters."
Danny was shocked as he pointed his right finger at Jazz and said, "You're going trick-or-treating?!"
Jazz waved her hand down as she smiled and said, "Of course not. I'm taking Danielle trick-or-treating."
Sam was surprised as she curiously said, "You are?! You don't think Danielle's a little too old for that?"
Jazz put her wrists on her hips as she seriously said, "This is Danielle's first Halloween ever! She should go trick-or-treating at least once! She's not going to be a kid much longer so she should make the best of it while she still can!"
The others were surprised by her as Danny said, "Wow Jazz! I've never seen you like this."
Jazz smiled proudly and lovingly as she said, "I want our little sister to enjoy her youth, and I want to build memories with her that I'll remember forever. So I'm taking her trick-or-treating on her first Halloween. Danielle! You ready?"
Danielle phased down through the ceiling and floated in the air in her ghost form as she happily said, "I'm ready! I hope I get a lot of candy."
Tucker smiled as he pointed at her and said, "Dressed like that, you'll get a ton of candy!"
Danielle smiled eagerly as she clinched her fists and said, "I hope so! I can't wait to fill myself with Halloween candy!"
Tucker then held out his PDA with a map on the screen as he pointed at it and said, "Some friendly advice, follow this route. These houses have the best candy. Also, stay away from the red zone. All they give out there are fresh fruit and granola bars."
Danielle smiled at him and the others as she said, "Thanks Tuck. Sorry I'm gonna miss your Halloween party Danny."
Danny smiled politely as he said, "That's okay. You go out and have fun."
Just then, Jack and Maddie came in, both wearing their hazmat goggles while carrying ghost hunting equipment. Jack had the Fenton Weasel while Maddie had the Fenton Finder and a Fenton Foamer on her back.
Danielle curiously asked, "Mom, dad, what are you doing?"
Maddie smiled proudly as she said, "Getting ready for our ghost hunting patrol sweetie."
Jack showed a serious expression as he said, "Halloween may be fun for kids but it's the night ghosts roam free and cause mischief."
Tucker smiled jokingly as he looked at Danny and Danielle and said, "Yeah, spirits and Phantoms."
They both glared at him when Jack held out the nozzle of the Fenton Weasel and said, "Well your mother and I are gonna find any ghosts and make sure they don't frighten anyone!"
He turned on the Fenton Weasel and sucked up Danny and Danielle as they screamed in terror and then were crammed together inside it.
Jazz was shocked as she exclaimed, "Dad!"
Jack immediately showed regret as he looked down at the Fenton Weasel and said, "Sorry kids. I guess I got carried away."
The Fenton Weasel shook as Danielle complained, "Danny, your foot is in my face!"
The Fenton Weasel kept shaking as Danny angrily said, "Well your knee is in my stomach! Dad get us out of here!"
Jack immediately complied as he reversed the Fenton Weasel and blew Danny and Danielle back out of it.
Maddie led Jack to the front door as she smiled and said, "Sorry about that. We'll be out ghost hunting. You kids have fun tonight."
Danny smiled as he happily said, "We will mom. Bye."
Jack and Maddie ran out and hurried down the street to begin their ghost hunting spree, but they stopped when some trick-or-treaters showed up.
Jack was surprised to see one of them was a girl dressed as Danielle as he said, "What the? Danielle?"
The girl smiled playfully as she said, "Yeah! I'm Dani Phantom! Happy Halloween."
The trick-or-treaters walked away and Jack and Maddie saw more walking down the sidewalks and noticed a few more girls dressed like Danielle.
Maddie smiled adoringly as she said, "Aww! That's so cute! These girls are dressed up as Danielle for Halloween."
Jack showed a bit of disappointment as he said, "Aww, I thought Danielle finally got the hang of that cloning thing. Oh well, let's go."
They continued on their ghost hunting spree as they ran down the sidewalk and eagerly began their search.
Back at the house, Danielle eagerly took a Jack-o-lantern bucket and smiled at Jazz as she said, "Come on Jazz! Let's go get some candy!"
She floated in the air and took Jazz's hand, as she smiled and they both hurried out the front door to start trick-or-treating.
As they left, Young Blood watched them from on a rooftop, wearing a Robin Hood costume as he happily said, "Candy huh? Time to show that trick-or-treater what Halloween is really about!"
In Danny's living room, Valerie showed concern as she looked at Danny and asked, "Danny, should we be worried about what your parents said?"
Danny smiled confidently as waved his hand down then pointed his thumb at himself while saying, "Don't worry Val. My parents get like this every year. It's normal for them. And even if any ghosts show up we can handle them no problem. Now let's get this place ready for the guests."
Later, the sun had gone down and all of Danny's guests arrived in costumes as they started talking with each other, enjoying the music, and eating food. Danny was floating in the air as some of the kids stood around him and watched him show off his ghost powers. He flew around with a ghostly tail while they cheered for him, then he made a small orb of ecto energy, then he created a force-field around himself. He dropped the force-field and then made two duplicates of himself as the kids happily cheered his name. Dash was dressed as zombie boxer, Kwan was dressed as Frankenstein's monster, and Paulina was a princess with a tiara.
The three Danny's merged back into one as Paulina swooned with her hands together and said, "My prince charming."
Sam then shoved Paulina aside and glared at her as she threateningly said, "Stay away from my boyfriend Cinderella!"
Paulina glared back at Sam as she pointed her finger and said, "He doesn't belong to you, you wicked witch!"
They kept glaring at each other until Danny flew between them and moved them apart as he said, "Sam, Paulina, stop! Take it easy! We don't want another catfight!"
Tucker had an interested smile with his arm around Valerie as he said, "Speak for yourself dude. My money's on Sam."
Valerie smiled as she pointed her finger and said, "Mine too."
Danny glanced back and forth between Paulina and Sam as he said, "Girls, come on! This is a party! We're supposed to be having fun, not starting fights."
Paulina smiled dreamily at Danny as she said, "Anything you say Danny."
Sam was annoyed but calmed down as she sighed and said, "You're right Danny. It's Halloween, we should enjoy it."
She then smiled at him evilly as she raise her hands and held her cape out as she hissed at Danny like a vampire.
Danny chuckled as he said, "Nice one Sam."
Sam then held the left crook of her cape over her mouth and pretended to hypnotize him as she said, "You will dance with me."
Danny held his arms out and pretended to be hypnotized as he said, "Yes master."
They both went to the middle of the floor and started dancing together, Danny floated as he held Sam's hand and spun her around.
Tucker and Valerie watched them as Tucker proudly said, "I knew they'd look great together on Halloween."
Valerie smiled as she took Tucker's hand and said, "Wanna dance?"
Tucker smiled happily as he replied, "Definitely!"
They walked out onto the floor near Danny and Sam and they started happily dancing together while some of the other guests watched them. Everyone at the party was having fun, unaware that Nocturne was watching them all through the window with an evil smile.
He moved back from the window as he deviously said to himself, "Sorry to poop your party ghost boy, but it's time to show you all something truly frightening."
Meanwhile in the neighborhood
Jack and Maddie were hunting for ghosts as they stood on a sidewalk as Maddie stared at a device in her hand.
Maddie was surprised as she stared at a monitor and said, "Whoa. Specteral readings are off the scale. Ghosts are already on the loose."
Jack narrowed his goggles as he held the Fenton Weasel and seriously said, "Well then we'd better get cracking baby!"
He took off running while Maddie followed him, and then saw a kid in a ghost costume, with a bedsheet over him.
Jack stopped as he aimed the nozzle at the kid and said, "Ah ha! Gotcha! Eat hot Fenton Weasel ghost scum!"
He then sucked the bedsheet off the boy, leaving him without his costume as he held his candy in his hand and stared at Jack and Maddie.
Jack realized his mistake as he smiled sheepishly and said, "Um… Oops."
Some other kids started pointing and laughing at them while Maddie sighed and said, "At least Danielle is having fun with Jazz."
Meanwhile somewhere else
Jazz and Danielle were walking on a sidewalk as Jazz showed a reminiscing smile and said, "This brings back memories from when Danny and I used to go trick-or-treating."
Danielle smiled up at her sister as she said, "Cool. I wish I could've seen that."
Jazz smiled as she placed her hand on Danielle's back, then they came to another house when they passed a boy in a zombie costume.
He smiled at Danielle as he gave her a thumbs-up and complimented, "Cool costume! You look just like Dani Phantom."
Danielle smiled awkwardly as she said, "Uh… Thanks."
As they walked Jazz looked around and noticed several boys and girls were dressed up as Danny and Danielle.
Jazz smiled fondly as she said, "It's cute how so many kids are dressed as you and Danny. It makes sense considering how famous you two are."
They walked to the front door of the house while Danielle honestly said, "I like how so many kids wanted to be me for Halloween, but I wish they could tell that I'm the real Dani Phantom."
Jazz rang the doorbell and when the man came out Danielle happily said, "Trick-or-Treat."
The man smiled as he put some candy in her pumpkin bucket and said, "Another Dani Phantom. Here you go."
He smiled as he closed the door and then Jazz and Danielle turned and walked away while Danielle looked down into her bucket.
She looked mildly disappointed as she said, "Not a bad haul but I was hoping for more. I thought going as myself would help me get more candy but so far it's not working."
Jazz looked down at Danielle and spoke reassuringly before narrowing her eyes firmly as she said, "Don't worry Danielle, the night's still young and there are still plenty of houses for us to try. Just remember to go easy on this Halloween candy later. I don't want you getting any cavities from it."
Danielle stared forward as she groaned in annoyance and said, "Yes Jazz."
She stopped walking and gasped as her ghost sense suddenly went off, then she and Jazz looked around for any signs of ghosts. Suddenly all of the trick-or-treaters stopped and watched as a bunch of ghosts in medieval clothing flew down and floated above the street. Young Blood then floated down in front of the other ghosts, in his costume with his skeleton sidekick sitting on his shoulder as a robin.
Danielle was shocked as she said, "Young Blood?!"
Young Blood smiled happily as he held his arms out and said, "It's Robin Blood! And these are my Scary Men!"
The other ghosts smiled evilly while Jazz glared and said, "What do you want?"
Young Blood smiled evilly as he held his arms out then placed his hands on his chest while saying, "We're here to rob from the rich and give to the needy: me!"
One boy in a pirate costume was confused as he said, "What?"
Young Blood pointed his finger out as he ordered, "Get the candy!"
His Scary Men smiled evilly as they flew out and started taking candy from all of the trick-or-treaters as they complained and whined. One of the Scary Men came and grabbed Danielle's bucket as he tried to take her candy, but Danielle bravely held onto her bucket.
The ghost started pulling on the bucket while Danielle glared and said, "Hey! Let go! That's my candy! Hands off!"
She was about to hit him but the ghost was suddenly blasted away from her and Danielle was surprised as she turned to see Jazz holding a small handheld blaster.
Danielle kept looking at Jazz as she said, "You brought that with you?"
Jazz smiled sheepishly as she said, "Mom and dad said ghosts love to cause trouble on Halloween, so I brought it just in case. I also brought the Fenton Thermos too."
They both watched as the Scary Men took all the other kids' candy and started putting it in a floating wagon.
Young Blood smiled evilly as he pointed in the distance and said, "Move out Scary Men! There's still so much candy left to steal!"
They flew away with all the candy and Danielle seriously looked at Jazz as she said, "Jazz, we have to stop Young Blood!"
Jazz agreed as she narrowed her eyes and said, "I'll say! I hate kids who steal other kids candy instead of getting their own!"
Danielle then flew with a ghostly tail while Jazz followed her on foot and they both went after Young Blood and his Scary Men.
Meanwhile at Fenton Works
The party was still going on as all of the guests enjoyed the food, talked with each other, and complimented each other's costumes.
Sam stood with Danny as they looked around and Danny smiled as he asked, "So what do you think?"
Sam smiled back at him as she happily said, "Not bad for your first Halloween party."
Tucker and Valerie were standing next to them as Tucker smiled and said, "Yeah dude. This is a lot of fun."
Danny smiled with appreciation as he modestly said, "Thanks guys, this party took a lot of work but it looks like it all paid off."
Valerie agreed as she said, "Good job Danny."
Dash overheard them when he jumped in front of them and raised his fists as he excitedly yelled, "Good job?! This is awesome! This is the coolest Halloween party ever!"
Danny showed a flattered smile as he said, "Thanks Dash. I'm glad you guys are having fun."
Dash smiled at him with so much excitement before turning around as he said, "Fun?! This is beyond fun! Nothing could ruin this!"
Suddenly Danny gasped as his ghost sense went off and he complained, "You had to say that."
Suddenly Nocturne phased into the room as he rose from the floor and everyone backed away from him in fear.
Danny stared at him in shock as he said, "Nocturne?!"
Nocturne smiled evilly as he looked down at Danny and said, "Correct ghost boy! Now your true nightmare begins!"
Commercial break
Jack and Maddie were in the neighborhood as they looked at Maddie's handheld scanner as it showed strong readings.
Maddie stared at the screen as she said, "I'm getting some strong ecto-readings coming from home."
Jack brushed it off as he said, "It's probably just Danny showing off for his Halloween party."
They both started walking down the street as Maddie smiled and said, "Yeah, we'd better keep searching. I'm sure Danny's having a great time."
Meanwhile at the house
Danny stared at Nocturne as he demanded, "Nocturne?! What are you doing here?"
Nocturne smiled evilly at Danny as he said, "Happy Halloween ghost boy, I heard you were throwing a party and I just had to attend. Now you and all your friends will see something truly frightening, my triumph!"
Danny glared at Nocturne as he yelled, "I don't think so!"
He then flew at Nocturne and punched him in the face, knocking him back into a wall, prompting everyone to cheer for Danny. Nocturne got back up and flew at Danny as he slashed hic claws at him, but Danny dodged him and swiped his leg through the air, sending a wave of ecto-energy at him. Nocturne dodged the wave and fired a blue ray of ghostly energy at Danny from his left hand, but Danny dodged it. Danny then made three duplicates of himself and the four of them all surrounded Nocturne as they began beating him. They fired ghost rays that made Nocturne let out small cries of pain, but he was only annoyed as he grabbed one of the duplicates and whirled him around. He swung him at the other two duplicates and they all vanished, leaving only the real Danny Phantom floating in the air. Danny quickly flew at Nocturne and punched him in the face and knocked him to the floor, then he smiled overconfidently.
Danny folded his arms as he smugly said, "Maybe you should've gotten some beauty sleep before you came."
Nocturne immediately got back up and punched Danny and knocked him flat on his back before he got back up. Nocturne then grew to a larger size as his head almost hit the ceiling while he smiled evilly down at Danny.
Nocturne's body was covered in a blue aura, which turned to green flames as he evilly said, "You should know by now that I am not so easily defeated."
Danny looked a bit nervous before narrowing his eyes and flying at Nocturne again, but Nocturne fired a blue ghost ray from his left hand. He blasted Danny and made him scream in agony before he fell to the floor and groaned in pain as everyone watched him.
Sam ran to his aid as she yelled, "Danny!"
Nocturne floated closer and glared down at the two of them as he said, "I have already harnessed the energy from people's dreams in other towns, and soon I will have yours as well! I will make you all dream your worst nightmares and your fear will make me stronger than ever!"
Valerie joined Danny and Sam as she activated her right wrist cannon and said, "Hey party crasher! You want to put us to sleep? Keep talking! Otherwise shut up!"
She then fired a purple ray at Nocturne from her wrist cannon, but he did not move or even flinch as he stared at her. He floated in place as her ray hit him in his left side, blowing a small hole in his body, but he healed as the hole patched up. Valerie gasped in shock while Nocturne smiled evilly and then formed a ball of blue energy in his right hand and threw it at her. The ball exploded as it hit Valerie and knocked her down while everyone watched and screamed in fear before looking at Nocturne.
Tucker bravely looked at the other kids as he said, "Come on everybody! Let's show Nocturne what happens when you crash a Halloween party!"
Dash then narrowed his eyes and raised his fists as he exclaimed, "Yeah!"
All of the kids started running at Nocturne, yelling in fury, but he showed no fear as he had an evil grin on his face.
He then held his arms out as he exclaimed, "Sleepwalkers form!"
A bunch of Sleepwalkers suddenly formed in the house and moaned as they started attacking all the party guests. The kids stopped and screamed in terror as the Sleepwalkers restrained them, then two came and grabbed Valerie's arms just as she stood up and held her in place.
Tucker showed fear as he yelled, "Valerie!"
He tried to help her but a Sleepwalker came behind him and grabbed him, preventing him from doing anything. Another Sleepwalker came and grabbed Sam by her upper arms, dragging her away from Danny.
Danny quickly got up and yelled, "Sam!"
He was about to fly and help her but two Sleepwalkers came and grabbed his arms to restrain him as they moaned. Danny and Valerie both struggled to break free from the Sleepwalkers' grips but the ghosts were too strong for them.
They stopped struggling as Nocturne floated in front of them and gloated, "Fools! Resistance is futile! It is time for the real party to begin!"
Meanwhile in the neighborhood
Young Blood and his Scary Men had stolen the candy from all the kids in the neighborhood as they gathered it together in one big pile. All of the trick-or-treaters were complaining and whining about how they wanted their candy back but the Scary Men kept them at bay as they scared them.
Young Blood smiled mischievously as he stared down at the candy then pulled out eggs and toilet paper as he said, "Looks like I got all the treats, now it's time for some tricks!"
He laughed evilly as he started throwing eggs around at the trick-or-treaters and then started throwing toilet paper in trees.
Suddenly Jazz and Danielle came and Jazz pointed her finger as she exclaimed, "Okay, that's enough Young Blood!"
Danielle glared at him as she demanded, "Yeah! You had your fun, now give everyone back their candy!"
Young Blood leered at them as he eagerly said, "You want it? Come and get it!"
The Scary Men started charging at Danielle and Jazz, but Danielle put her hands together and threw a big orb of ecto-energy. The orb blasted a few Scary Men and knocked them away while Danielle flew past the others and toward Young Blood.
As she flew the trick-or-treaters all watched her as one pointed at her and said, "Whoa! Look! It's the real Dani Phantom!"
Another trick-or-treater smiled as he said, "Awesome!"
A girl smiled as she happily raised her fists and yelled, "Go get him!"
Danielle showed a flattered smile as she flew at Young Blood and tried to punch him, but he swiftly dodged her. They both floated in the air and fought as Young Blood made a bow and arrows appear and then shot a few green flaming arrows at Danielle. Her legs became a ghostly tail as she avoided the arrows and then put her hands together to fire a ghost ray at Young Blood. She successfully hit him and blasted him back through the air, but he recovered and floated in the air as he glared at her and flew back at her. While they continued to fight, the Scary Men moved toward Jazz to attack her, but Jazz pulled out her handheld blaster and started shooting at them. She knocked several of them down one by one, but then one Scary Man came at her and tried to punch her. Jazz swiftly dodged his fist and then blasted him away, then she blasted at two more Scary Men that came at her.
She smiled bravely as she stared at the rest of them and said, "I've got some tricks, now I'll give you some more treats!"
She blasted her weapon at the Scary Men rapidly; meanwhile Danielle kept fighting Young Blood by herself. Young Blood shot several arrows at Danielle, but she stretched her midsection and formed a huge hole in it that the arrows flew through. She returned to her normal shape and then she swiped her leg through the air and sent a wave of ecto-energy at Young Blood. He dodged it and then pulled out a sword as he flew at Danielle while holding the sword back as he prepared to swing it at her. She quickly held her hands out and formed an ecto-shield around herself that blocked Young Blood's sword, then she dropped the force-field and kicked him away.
Young Blood floated in the air as he looked at his robin skeleton sidekick and complained, "Uh, a little help here!"
The robin skeleton ghost then flew at Danielle and repeatedly pecked her in the face as he hovered around her.
Danielle then grabbed the robin skeleton ghost in her hand and angrily said, "Back off bird brain!"
She then threw him at Young Blood's face, causing him to break to pieces as his head fell into Young Blood's hand.
He showed an annoyed expression as he said, "This is why I don't like helping you."
Young Blood put the skull in his pocket and then shot a few arrows at Danielle, but she shot ghost rays from her fingers and destroyed each arrow one by one. Danielle then flew at Young Blood and performed a roundhouse kick that sent him flying through the air before he recovered and floated in the air. He glared at her before turning around and noticing Jazz fighting his Scary Men as she shot them with her handheld blaster. She had defeated almost all of them as Young Blood smiled deviously as he turned to see Danielle flying straight at him.
He punched her in the face and sent her flying away before he said, "Let's see if your big sister's as tough as you!"
He then turned and flew toward Jazz while Danielle cried, "No!"
Jazz blasted the last of the Scary Men and knocked him down, prompting her to smile proudly until the blaster was knocked out of her hands by one of Young Blood's arrows.
Young Blood floated in front of her as she backed away from him while he mocked, "Nice costume. Not! You trying to spoil my Halloween fun? How about you just let me have my candy and I'll let you off the hook?"
Jazz backed into a streetlight but glared at Young Blood as she defiantly said, "No way! Kids like you were always trying to steal my and Danny's candy when we went trick-or-treating! I didn't let them then do it and I'm not gonna let you do it now!"
Young Blood laughed mockingly as he said, "You're such a goody goody! Well, I guess I can cut you a break!"
He then pulled out his sword and lifted it over his head as he prepared to swing it down at Jazz as she stared in fear. He swung down but Danielle quickly floated in front of Jazz and slammed her hands together over her head, grabbing Young Blood's sword and stopping it. Young Blood was shocked as Danielle held his sword in place while glaring at him, then she yanked it out of his hands and threw it away. The then proceeded to beat Young Blood as she punched and kicked him repeatedly and knocked him higher into the air. She also took away Young Blood's arrows and hit him with a ball of ecto-energy, severely damaging his costume and hurting him.
She then grabbed him by his shirt and stared him in the face as he smiled nervously and said, "Hey, you're pretty cool, how about we split the candy 50:50? You wanted a big haul right? Why give it back when you can keep it?"
She glared at him as she kept holding him and boldly said, "No way! I'm not taking these kids' candy for myself! I want to have fun on my first Halloween, not ruin it for everyone else like you do!"
She then spun through the air and whirled Young Blood around before throwing him down to the ground as he screamed. He hit the ground in front of Jazz and groaned in pain as he looked up to see Jazz standing over him as she pulled out the Fenton Thermos.
She aimed it down at Young Blood and sucked him into it before putting the lid on as she said, "Happy Halloween."
Danielle smiled as she floated in front of Jazz and said, "Thanks Jazz."
Jazz smiled proudly at Danielle and said, "You're welcome. Great job Danielle! You really showed Young Blood!"
Danielle smiled proudly as she stated, "That's what you get for stealing kids' candy on Halloween!"
Jazz then pointed at the giant pile of candy as she said, "Speaking of which, we'd better give all these kids their candy back."
Jazz stared walking as Danielle followed her and said, "Yeah."
Jazz spent a while giving all the trick-or-treaters their candy back before they finished with Jazz smiling and Danielle floating next to her. The trick-or-treaters did not leave as one of them handed a few pieces of his candy to Danielle.
Danielle was confused as she stared at it and said, "What's this?"
The boy smiled at her as he gratefully said, "Some candy for you."
Danielle shook her head as she respectfully said, "Thanks, but you don't have to do that."
One of the other trick-or-treaters smiled as he happily said, "Yeah we do! You got all of our candy back, you should have some too."
Another trick-or-treater behind him smiled as he pointed at Danielle and said, "Yeah! You rock! It's the least we can do!"
Danielle took the candy and held it in her hands and watched as all the trick-or-treaters formed a line behind the boy who gave her the candy. One by one they all gave Danielle a small amount of their candy before walking away and Danielle smiled happily.
Back at Fenton Works
The Sleepwalkers were still holding Danny and all the humans captive as Nocturne smiled evilly and said, "If you children are afraid now, just wait until you go to sleep!"
Sam glared at Nocturne as she defiantly said, "We're not afraid of you Nocturne!"
Tucker agreed as he glared at him and yelled, "Yeah!"
Nocturne smiled sadistically at them as he said, "Strong words, but you will be afraid when you all experience your worst nightmares."
Danny glared daggers as he defiantly said, "Sorry but I'm not tired yet!"
His eyes glowed blue as he froze the two Sleepwalkers holding him and then shattered them to pieces as he broke free.
Valerie also glared daggers as she said, "Neither am I!"
Sparks of purple energy surged from her suit and zapped the Sleepwalkers holding her and then she pulled her arms free and knocked them down. She and Danny stood together as they glared at Nocturne, who stared at them with an annoyed expression. He swung his right hand through the air and sent a wave of blue energy at them but they both dodged it and glared at him. Valerie made two blasters come out of her pack and fired them both at Nocturne, but he teleported behind her and knocked her away. Danny fired a ghost ray that blasted Nocturne into the wall but he got back up and saw Danny flying at him as he tried to kick him. Nocturne grabbed Danny's leg and threw him at the other wall while everyone watched, on the edge of the metaphorical seats.
Nocturne stood tall and smiled arrogantly as he gloated, "Foolish children! Neither one of you is a match for me!"
Danny and Valeire both got up as they looked at each other and nodded before Danny took Valerie's hand and flew in the air. Danny threw Valerie at Nocturne and her gloves glowed purple as she punched Nocturne in the face and made him cry in pain as he fell to the floor.
Valerie smiled confidently in a fighting stance while she said, "Maybe we can't beat you by ourselves, but how about together?"
He got back up, only to see Valerie aiming her left wrist cannon at him; she fired a purple ray while Danny fired a ghost ray from his right hand. The two rays hit Nocturne and blasted him into the wall behind him, but he got back up and sent a wave of blue ghostly energy at Danny and Valerie. They dodged the wave and then Danny shot an ice ray that froze Nocturne in ice, then Valerie pulled out a grenade and threw it at him. The grenade exploded and blew up Nocturne, but he reformed himself and glared at the two of them while gritting his teeth. All the other kids happily cheered as Danny and Valerie both charged at Nocturne but he held his left hand out as it glowed blue, and he lifted Danny and Valerie into the air with telekinesis.
They both showed scared expressions as Nocturne scolded them and said, "Even with your combined might you are both no match for power."
He then turned his body and lashed his arm forward as he sent Danny and Valerie crashing into a wall before they fell to the floor.
They both looked up at Nocturne as he floated in front of them and said, "You cannot defeat me!"
Danny glared at Nocturne as he defiantly said, "Then maybe it's time for a real house party!"
Danny then changed to his human form and Valerie was baffled as she asked, "What are you doing?!"
Danny smiled confidently as he said, "Showing Nocturne why no ghost should come into the Fenton house!"
He then ran past some Sleepwalkers holding guests and ran to a wall with a red emergency button, which he slammed his hand on.
An alarm then sounded while a red light flashed as a recording of Jack's voice said, "Fenton Works anti-ghost defenses activated. Prepare for ham, I mean pain."
Nocturne looked around and impatiently asked, "What is going on?"
Sam smiled eagerly as she knew what was happening and said, "You're about to get a real Halloween treat!"
Suddenly a bunch of mechanical tentacles with claws on the end came out of the walls and started attacking the Sleepwalkers. They destroyed some of the Sleepwalkers and freed the kids who were being held captive as they ran for safety. Some turrets came out of the ceiling and fired green rays that destroyed more Sleepwalkers holding some kids. A missile launcher emerged from the floor and launched six small missiles that destroyed six more Sleepwalkers. Two claws came and grabbed the Sleepwalkers holding Sam and Tucker before slamming them together, causing them to vanish. Soon all of the Sleepwalkers were destroyed by the Fentons' automatic defenses and all of the kids were freed as they cheered happily.
Nocturne was shocked as he looked around and said, "What?! No!"
Suddenly four turrets came out of the ceiling and fired green rays at Nocturne as he cried in pain, but then shot blue rays from his hands that destroyed them. Two claws came and grabbed Nocturne's arms and held him in place, but he grunted in fury as he pulled his arms free and ripped the claws off the tentacles. Two weapons emerged from the floor and zapped Nocturne with green energy as he cried in pain, but then he destroyed them with his claws. Valerie quickly stood up and fired a purple blast from her right wrist cannon and hit Nocturne in the back. He cried in pain but then turned around and threw a wave of blue ghostly energy at her, Valerie showed fear as it came at her. Suddenly a blue barrier shaped like Jack's face emerged from the floor and shielded Valerie from the wave. Once it blocked the wave it submerged back into the floor, to Valerie's shock and then she stared back at Nocturne. A flashing red light emerged from the ceiling above him as two machines came out of the ceiling and lowered beside him. They made two metal frames of Jack and Maddie slam into Nocturne from opposite sides before they went back into the ceiling. Nocturne fell to the floor for a brief moment before he got back up, then three turrets emerged from the ceiling and rapidly fired green blasts at Nocturne. They blasted several holes in his body as he cried in pain, but he healed himself and then threw a wave of blue energy that destroyed the turrets. Virtually all of the automatic defenses were destroyed, prompting Danny to go ghost again as he threw a ball of ecto-energy at Nocturne. The ball hit Nocturne and knocked him down to the floor, but Nocturne immediately got back up and glared daggers at Danny.
His fists shook in rage as he stubbornly yelled, "I cannot be defeated!"
Danny floated in the air as he seriously said, "Guess again nightmare!"
He then flew at Nocturne and tackled him as they both turned intangible and phased down through the floor while everyone watched. They entered the basement lab and turned solid as Danny started beating Nocturne fiercely, punching and kicking him. Nocturne was practically beaten as he floated in the air with a tired expression as he was barely able to stay in the air.
Danny put his hands together as they started glowing green while he said, "Party's over Nocturne! No treats for you, but here's a trick!"
He then fired a powerful ghost ray at Nocturne and blasted him through the Fenton Portal, back into the Ghost Zone. Danny smiled victoriously with his fists on his sides before he phased through the ceiling and went back upstairs.
Sometime later, the kids were getting ready to leave when Danny apologized, "Bye everyone. Sorry Nocturne ruined our party."
Dash smiled happily as he said, "Are you kidding?! This was the best Halloween party ever!"
Kwan agreed as he happily pointed at Danny and said, "Yeah! It was awesome! I can't wait to see what you do next year!"
Danny was surprised as he said, "Thanks guys. See you around."
Soon all the guests started leaving as Danny waved "goodbye" to them while Tucker, Sam, and Valerie stayed behind.
Danny turned and saw the mess leftover from the fight as he nervously said, "My parents are gonna flip when they see this."
Just then, Jack and Maddie walked in as Maddie said, "Danny, we're back."
Jack showed disappointment as he complained, "We were out all night and we couldn't find a single ghost."
They both gasped when they saw all the damage from the fight then Danny held his hands up and said, "Mom, dad, I can explain!"
They both glared at him as Jack sternly said, "We told you not to make a mess young man! You're in a lot of trouble!"
Sam then came to Danny's defense as she said, "Mr. and Mrs. Fenton, it wasn't Danny's fault! There was a ghost attack!"
Maddie was shocked as she exclaimed, "What?!"
Tucker pointed his thumb at Danny and Valerie while he honestly said, "Yeah. Nocturne and his Sleepwalkers crashed the party, but Danny and Valerie kicked their ghost butts."
Danny and Valerie smiled proudly while Maddie looked at her scanner with surprise and said, "Our scanner said there was a ghost front coming from home but we thought it was just detecting Danny."
Jack showed disappointment again and whined, "Aww, there was a ghost fight in our own house and we missed it."
Maddie smiled proudly at the kids as she said, "Well, there's always next year honey. Good job kids."
Danny smiled with appreciation as he said, "Thanks mom."
Valerie put her hands on her hips and proudly said, "We scare ghosts, they don't scare us."
Maddie smiled as she curiously said, "I wonder how the girls are doing."
Suddenly they all heard Jazz's voice call out, "Mom, dad, Danny, we're back!"
Danny smiled as he looked in the direction of the front door and happily said, "Hey Jazz. Hey Danielle."
Jazz walked in the living room and looked around at all the damage as she said, "Whoa! What happened here?"
Danny showed a tedious expression before looking curious as he said, "Long story. How was trick-or-treating?"
Jazz smiled as she stepped aside while Danielle flew into the room, holding a huge bag of candy over her head.
She smiled at everyone as she happily exclaimed, "We got enough candy to feed a hippo!"
She then flew over to the buffet table and poured out all the candy on it as everyone stared at it in shock and amazement.
Tucker smiled as he pointed at Danielle and said, "Wow! Looks like you scored some real Halloween points!"
Danielle smiled as she glanced around and awkwardly said, "Yeah, thanks to a little help from Young Blood. It's a long story."
Danny folded his arms as he nodded understandingly and said, "Yeah, I know what you mean."
Jazz smiled as she walked up to Danielle and asked, "So Danielle, did you have fun?"
Danielle floated in the air as she happily said, "Oh yeah! Thanks for taking me trick-or-treating Jazz! This is the best Halloween I've ever had! It's the only Halloween I've ever had but still."
Maddie narrowed her goggles as she sternly said, "Well I'm glad you had a good time Danielle but don't eat all that candy at once. I don't want you getting sick."
Danielle smiled happily and then held her hand out toward the candy as she happily said, "Don't worry mom, I won't. For one, I'm not gonna eat it all by myself. I'll share the wealth with all of you. Everyone dig in!"
Tucker smiled excitedly as he said, "Sweet! Thanks Dani!"
He immediately ran to the table and helped himself to some of the candy, along with Jack as he started eating chocolate. The others all smiled as they joined them and helped themselves to some of the candy, while Danielle floated over them and happily watched them for a moment. Soon she started eating some candy too while Danny stopped and backed away from the table with a nice thought on his mind.
He smiled happily at his friends and family as he said, "You know guys, in the end Halloween isn't about parties, costumes, or even candy. It's about having fun. Good, spooky, ghost-butt-kicking fun."
They all happily laughed together before Danny rejoined everyone and started eating candy again with everyone else.

Author's note: If they made a fourth season of Danny Phantom I could picture some holiday specials involving Danielle. I thought it would be nice to have a subplot focusing on her and Jazz; it helped show that Jazz is still in touch with her inner child. I also thought Nocturne and Young Blood would be the best villains to put in this Halloween special. Nocturne would be scary enough and Young Blood would be a nice younger villain to try and wreck trick-or-treating for all the kids. Please review.
