"C'mon, you guys! This is a dormitory, not a boxing ring! Butch, not on the COUCH! Boomer, chew with your mouth CLOSED! Ugh...Brick, can you control your brothers? You ARE the oldest Rowdyruff, right?"
Brick rolls his eyes and lays a hand upon Blossom's shoulder. "Bloss, I like you. You're a sweet girl...but you have a HUGE mouth, first off, AND my brothers' idiocy is NOT my responsibility."
Boomer, mouth full of popcorn, laughs out loud and says,"Since when do you know big words, Brick?"
Brick, with a glare, replies, "The day I answer any of your questions is the day you get a pair of balls to ask out Miss Smartypants' sister."
Boomer blushes and stutters, "S-s-shut up, man!"
Butch, jumping on the new green couch that Brick ordered off of Amazon, laughs at both of his brothers, and says, "You two are idiots for letting a GIRL run the show."
Blossom, getting her long orange hair out of her magenta eyes, grabs Butch by his wrinkly green t-shirt, and says, "Butch. I'm gonna tell you this again...this is a DORMITORY! Have some respect and be GLAD Miss Keene didn't held you back a year or two."
"Or six.", mumbles Boomer.
Butch stammers and says, "My studying skills aren't nobody's concern!"
"Uh, tell it to the professors that grade your papers.", says Brick. "And besides, those teachers aren't the least are your worries. Looking at this damn tuition AND books ON TOP of room and board...it's ridiculous!"
It was the second to last week of August as The Powerpuff sister and the Rowdyruff brothers all graduated from Townsville High and made a pact to stick together for college. It was Blossom's idea, of course, to apply to the University of Penn State, in which everyone agreed to except for Brick, who wanted to stay home to save money, along with Buttercup and Butch, who of course didn't want to waste their lives with more education. At the end, it wasn't a surprise that Blossom won the decision, so the gang packed their belongings, the girls saying their goodbyes to the Professor, the boys having nothing but their memories, and left Townsville without looking back. Too bad that Blossom lost a round of rock, paper, scissors to her sisters about who gets to assist the boys with unloading their bags of crap into their new dorm.
"Look, Brick. YOU promised to stay close.", says Blossom.
"Only because YOU are a control-freak who can't take no for an answer."
Blossom rolls her eyes as she looks at their small white apartment, their crappy old wooden table for the living room, their white-tiled kitchen. The only thing that seemed new was the couch, their blankets from home and two of their blue recliners. "Happy First Day of College...I guess. Have fun, boys."
"Wait-", Boomer says. Too late. The door closed and the two youngest brothers were stuck with their older brother, who was ruthless. "Damn! I was hoping she'd save us."
"From what exactly?", says Brick with a chuckle.
"Shut up, Brick! At least I'm not being a simp over Smartypants!"
At that, Brick punched Boomer in the jaw. He fell to the ground. "Shut your mouth about Blossom. She means nothing to me! Now, you better watch your damn back, Boomer! Count your days...you're gonna need them..."
Struggling to get up, Boomer glares at his older brother. Spitting blood on the tiles, he mumbled, "Screw you."
Butch held Boomer up and says, "Look. We're gonna be stuck with each other for a whole year. Best we start getting along or else Party Pooper rats us out. Besides, when's the last time we committed a crime?"
Last Wednesday., thought Brick. "What's your point?"
"POINT is since that robbery at the corner store-"
"Which you and dumb blondie hear stole two packs of chips and a few Hershey bars-"
"ANYWAY, let's prove that we're the mature group this time! I'm tired of seeing the popularity of the dumb Powerpuffs."
"Jealous of your girlfriend, Butch?", joked Boomer.
"Says the guy with a bloody jaw. Have you not learned your lesson?"
Boomer stood up, glared at his brothers, and went to his room, bluer than the sky, slamming his door. Butch opened the door and shouts, "Talk about Buttercup like that again and you're dead!" Butch closed the door, going to his room as he says, "Don't start with me."
Brick rolls his eyes as he lays upon the couch, pulling out his phone and dialing a number. After three rings, a female voice says, "What did you idiots do...?"
"Heh, you really have trust issues."
"Brick."
"Look, both my brothers are occupied in their rooms. Maybe we can hit the cafe and get a bite to eat."
"You paying?"
"Oh, ha ha. You know about my job at the library."
"Surprisingly."
"Do you wanna go or not?"
"Are you asking me or telling me?"
Rolling his eyes, he sighs and says, "Can you make time in your schedule to hang out with your favorite boyfriend?"
"Ummm...fine. Only because you asked but if my sisters and your brothers find out-"
"You shouldn't worry since you DID kiss me at the graduation party-"
"I was drunk!"
"Yet, you're still coming for more, Butters."
She sighs and says, "I can't help that you're good at sex...and yes I'll meet you at the cafe."
"Good. And by the way, I'm not getting in trouble because of you."
Hanging up the phone, Brick puts on his red Nikes as he goes to the cafe to mess with the girlfriend of his younger brother.
