this story is right after season 7. abigail and donovan did NOT break up. personally i feel that abigail got screwed up the most. i am sure the ending most of us wanted to see was abigail and donovan staying together. after all they went through i don't think they should have broken them up. i hope you enjoy. please feel free to tell me what you think.

It had been a week since Adam and Stephanie got married. Donovan and Abigail decided that they were going to get married in Middleton/Blairsville and then they were going to go to Tuscany for their honeymoon. The original plan was to get married in Tuscany, but it just wasn't the same without their families. now they were going to get married in a week.

it was another normal day in Middleton. Well as normal as a day in Middleton could be. Which is to say it wasn't normal at all. It was a slow day at the flower shop. Abigail was busy preparing a flower order when the bell jangled merrily. She spun on her heel with a smile on her face, the flowers completely forgotten. "Donovan" she said. "Abigail" he replied before they kissed softly. Abigail wrapped her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss. They were interrupted however by the bell jangling once more and a rather loud and enthusiastic 'yoo-hoo'.

Abigail pulled away from Donovan reluctantly. "Martha" she said through gritted teeth, "what can I do for you?" if Martha was bothered by her tone, she didn't show it. "I need some bright flowers for my house. Something that shows my personality. Something that screams 'I'm Martha!'" the mayor asked. "How do these look?" Abigail asked, holding up a random bouquet, hoping to get rid of Martha quickly. Not that she hated the mayor, but she could be quite infuriating and annoying at times. "Those are wonderful! I will come pick these up, say around six? Tata!" Martha said.

"Goodbye to you too, Martha" Donovan said sarcastically. "Oh! Hello Donovan" Martha said jovially before making her grand exit. Abigail sighed in relief once she left. Then she took her place in Donovan's arms again. "Now where were we?" Abigail said before began the passionate kiss. But once again the bell jangled loudly. Abigail groaned. She was really starting to hate that stupid bell. Was it so hard to be left alone for a couple of minutes so she could kiss her fiancée? Apparently, it was.

"Sam. Let me guess, a rose for Cassie?" Abigail asked. Sam chuckled. "How did you know?" he said. "Despite the fact you come in here once a week to buy a rose for cassie?" Abigail said with a trace of sarcasm in her voice. She grabbed a rose and handed it to him. When he didn't leave, she let out an irritated sigh. It was only then that Sam noticed Donovan. "Sorry, was I interrupting something?" Sam apologized. "yes" Abigail said pointedly. Sam took that as his cue to leave.

Once sam left Donovan wrapped his arms around Abigail's waist from behind. "Are you ok?" he asked lovingly. "I will be once I get to kiss you for more than five seconds" she replied, but before either of them could act on that the bell jangled again.

"I am going to destroy that stupid bell" Abigail muttered under her breath before turning to the door. It was a new customer. Abigail plastered a fake smile across her face. "Welcome to Abigail's flowers and chocolates. How may I help you?" Abigail greeted. "Could I have a bouquet of white flowers?" the customer asked. "of course," Abigail busied herself with preparing the flowers and taking the payment. Once the customer left, she turned to find Donovan.

"Donovan?" she asked, unable to see him. "Right here" he said from behind her. He then tucked a small maroon colored flower behind her ear. "a beauty for my beauty" he quipped. At this Abigail laughed. "When did you become a romantic?" she asked playfully. Donovan shrugged. "Since I met you" he said. Abigail leaned in to kiss him when that infernal bell jangled. Again. At that Abigail completely lost it. "Who the hell is it now?!" she yelled. "that's an interesting way to greet me" the person replied. Once Abigail saw who it was, she immediately felt bad. "Sorry Cassie" she apologized sheepishly. A frown appeared on her face however when she the dead serious look on Cassie's face. "What is it? What's wrong?" Abigail asked, confused.

"there's something I need to show you and Donovan"
