It was a terrible day that Gallaxhar had trapped Susan in her human form along with link and bob in a cell with a strong security where they couldn't break free for over a few weeks, however, Dr.c had been constantly ordered to follow one of the aliens clone to the main leader, as much the scientist wanted no part in it, he was forced either way.

Link tried his best to fight them off to defend and protect his friend who was behind him but sadly the enemy shock him with their weapon as the fish ape let out a scream dropping on the floor with grunts, dr.c tried going to him to check if he was alright before suddenly the clones quickly grabbed him by the wrist forcing him to follow as link grabbed his small hand, dr.c sighed with a droop antennae looking down at his fish ape friend with a gloomy expression.

"Link please... let me go or they'll do worse on you, I don't want you to get hurt.. I promise I'll be back..." dr.c turn to the clones agreeing with a nod to follow.

"Doc... please..." link looked up weakly as his hands was electrized by one of the squid's small weapon pushing large fish ape back.

No matter how much the nerd would infuriate him but he still consider him a good friend, he watched the door shut closed hearing the clones walked away behind the door with his long-life friend, the bubbly noises fading away, buried his face on the floor in hopelessness.

"We gotta find a way to get out of here..." he breathlessly spoke gasping in pain.

"But how? I don't have my powers..." Susan said looking down while rubbing the fish ape's back trying to comfort her friend.

"Who knows what that no-good leader would do to doc... I know he's not much of a fighter but I can't help to worry about him... Susan, I have a feeling something's bad going to happen to him..." link asked looking up at Susan with concern.

"Its normal to feel that way for a friend link, I mean you two had been under the facility over longest years... and with bob too" Susan said with a sympathetic look

link carefully sat while groaning in pain as bob sat beside them sighing as well.

Dr cockroach walk with the clones who were on each side of him in case he tried to escape with guns on their hands, he wrapped himself looking down keeping up with the squids, he thought of link wishing he was out of the cell to come after these rotten aliens imagining how much these squids would be in pulp by his fish ape friend's huge hands, he indeed always felt protected by his large friend especially how much he can be a proud showoff jock, he hadn't thought of his feelings once he was around him and just by now he wishes he knew sooner, yes over the years despite how rocky it was, he grew more closer to him no matter how much of his insult or how much of a bully towards him, still he does deeply care for link, his thoughts abruptly interrupted by one to the clones who pushed him forward to the door which was shut closed behind them and he turned to the leader.

"Ah, there he is, the genius monster" the leader spoke coming out of the other side.

doc looked up in shock, he had a extra tentacles and arms as his hieght was taller than the rest.

"Like my tallness and new arms? I've created a machine to make me like this, just so I can be noticeable and I wouldn't be mistaken by the earth which will be soon to be my planet" he smirked down

"Surely my friends will figure out how to stop you, need I to tell you humans can eat calamari like you and hopefully you'll be the next meal" dr.c barked with narrowing eyebrows while stepping back once the taller squid keeps stepping onward to the bug man who then turn to other clones.

"You may leave, I'll be okay here with the genius nuisance here" he said while using his hands motioning as if shooing them as the clones obeyed leaving out of the door, when the leader turn looking at the little insect man as he spoke looking down at him.

"You should be careful with that mouth of yours you tiny pest or that'll be the last thing you'll have" his eyes gone with an unfriendly stare like daggers at half human insect who felt disturbed.

"Well, what do you want me here for this time?" Dr.c sighed as he kept slowly walking back every inch the taller squid make trying to hide his fear to keep his distance between them.

"I just need you to create something for me, don't worry it won't kill you" Gallaxhar grinned.

It was worrying Dr.c, he slightly shuddered but his antennae perked a little when the taller leader walked at an area where he knew where he had to go, the room had what it looks like a glass tube much like earth's laboratory equipment and inside the tube has all chemicals with in different colors and as usual, a bed made for him.

"Theres another book for you to read and other human supplies, I manage to translate my language to humans, as I am speaking, I need you to make the one I made on the table, there's more instructions on the table beside the beakers for you" as he rambles on.

dr.c walked over to the book and papers what Gallaxhar instructed him to do which it was uninteresting to the mad scientist as he knew it was dangerous to human life and he dare not to run again remembering the first time he attempted to escape after tricking a clone into a killing powder he created as he crawled out of the door to trying to be back with the others, all that happened turn into a disappointment as the leader had threatened to hurt his friends if he does another attempt and avoid any escape in defeat.

"That's all you got to do, I'll come back soon with a meal for you, not because I'm being nice, I want you alive" he said then once he left the room, Doctor sighed in relief, he laid down on the bed looking down thinking of being back on earth with his friends and how much he misses the facility where he would build with excitement and how much it would help him stay focus as his thoughts were on link.

"...link..." he softly spoke reminiscence the things that he spent with his friend as memories flowing over him, it didn't matter how much times he fought with him every time they tend to get at each other's throat but they do have good times, he was glad he met him and he's been a good company over the years since his captivity.

he exhaled as he stood up to start working pulling up his sleeve as he started scanning the book, he always have been a fast reader and always had large set of books in his room back at the facility and link would ask him to read it out for him as it was mostly about physical body, novels or anatomy especially late at night where link would help him fall asleep, he chuckled at that memory and he recall at that one night where he hadn't slept for 3 days.

"Doc, aren't you going to try to sleep?" link asked

"Not right now link, I won't rest till this works fine" the bug man typed on the computer then went on checking the appliance, link sighed as he walked over the book shelfs looking around and found what he would love to read about, he reached over it and head over to his small friend who pouted after his machine popped with smoke coming out

"Well I can't sleep would you want to continue reading this to me where we left off? I promise I'll let you go back to work" Link held up one of his novel.

Dr cockroach sighed then nodded getting up from the floor leaving his work walking towards link grabbing the book as he headed to the bed while link followed laying on his side making room for his small friend where dr.c leaned on his belly as usual turning the pages where he had booked marked it.

once he read on to link when after few pages and few minutes passed, his eyes kept dropping and finally his huge head nearly hit on the book as he landed on a massive hands, link smiled slowly getting up gently laid him down on his bed as he carefully took off his shoes and lab coat trying not to wake him up then pulled a blanket over his sleeping friend and leaving him to rest.

after that whole night he had a well-rested sleep thanks to his friend and was able to go back to his experiment.

Dr cockroach smiled while working on while he thought all those times even without knowing, link had been there and helped him, he can't believe he hadn't noticed anything over the years as he thought of hitting himself.

It took 2 whole days passed with only clones bringing him garbage as a meal and he was on the 20th balls of glowing liquids, when Gallaxhar walked in without the doctor's notice as he was busy working on the orbs then lurched when he felt a pair of hands tap on his head made him jump turning around, the leader was towering over him with a sneer then dropped two trash bag on the floor.

"on your earth, I'm pretty sure its dinner time so enjoy your meal" the tall leader looked over bunch of orbs filled with glowing red and green liquids as he walked over and scanning it ignoring the sounds of roach rummage through the bags as he chew on and collect whatever he could keep as he hid them under the bed with the rest of it without the squid knowing.

"I must say this is what exactly I did, you are going to the right path, I'm impressed" he said without turning around.

dr.c looked over as he saved the rest beside his bed and headed over beside the taller squid.

"Yes... thank you" he said nervously as Gallaxhar turned to him staring few moments then looked back at the small ball, dr.c was feeling a bit uncomfortable with the way he looked down on him which he always did since the day he and his friends was prisoned, with every experiment he was asked to do and receiving a break going back to his friends as he cleared his throat and spoke.

"So when can I go back to my friends?" He asked

Gallaxhar skipped through the screens learning more about the humans as the days passed, then he stopped where it caught his attention.

"w. What..." dr.c looked up to him trying to hear what he told him.

"You heard me, I'm going to give you a break" said Gallaxhar blank face.

"very well, I'll let you know when to go back to it" he said the taller squid left the room with the orbs as dr.c laid down as silence filled the room staring up the ceiling stretching finally relaxing.

In the cells, link was sitting on the corner unable to eat as for Susan and bob who looked at each other with worry, the silver haired walked up to the fish ape leaning on his shoulders.

"I miss him" link quietly spoke

"we all do" she spoke in silence as she spoke again "remember when he accidentally turned me into you? Doc was confused which is us and he'd try to give me a hug every time we're alone and we had the same voice which was harder for him to find which is who" she lightly giggled.

Suddenly they hear the door whooshed open as they looked over the door and the clones walked in, link stood up instantly.

"WHERE'S MY FRIEND!?" he demanded

"you need to follow us, hail gallaxhar ordered" one of them say.

"I am not going anywhere till you answer my question" he growled.

"link… you should, maybe you'll see him" Susan whispered

"alright…" link turned to the clones walking over agreeing to trail with the foes.

As they walked down the corridors, he was lead to the leader's lair shortly after, he stared up as the tall figure turning around meeting his eyes.

"how the fuck you got this tall.." he spoke then he was in his defense stunt when the squid walked over to him.

"the fighter huh?" the squid said showing no reactions.

"where's my friend!?" he loudly asks with a growl.

"gentle with your growl you rotten fish before I have your acquaintance deceased!" he harshly yelled.

"so he is alive?" link said feeling contented with that comment as he lowered his fist.

"that's better, I just need you to be put in the room till I figure out what to do with you" he said his hand motioning the clones to leave as he grabbed the fish ape's arm roughly dragging him to the door that had the number 34 on top.

"you did NOT ANSWER MY QUESTION!" link skreiched as he was pushed into a room where the door quickly shut, his fist started hitting on the door repeatedly not caring if his fist started to hurt.
