AN: Today is the 100-year anniversary of the Walt Disney Studios, and while I've only been around for not even a quarter of it, it's still a studio that's been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! In celebration for a century of magic, please enjoy this tribute chapter from the Magical World cast!
Gabriel was in a rush as he and Team Dream Keepers set up a surprise event in front of Disney Castle. "What's this event about, Gabriel?" Kessie asked.
"It's the big centennial celebration of the Walt Disney Company, and I wanted to get all of my friends to take a photo together," Gabriel explained.
"When you say "all of your friends," how many are we talking here?" Rocket asked.
"I mean everyone, even those that aren't officially Dream Defenders," Gabriel replied. "And first on that list is all of you guys: Jasiri, Kessie, Rocket, Lop, Sisu, Kairi, Lena, Brooklyn, Randall, and Figment, all accounted for as my main team."
"To think it's been so long since we first met back in the Boneyard," Jasiri mused, giving her boyfriend a kiss.
"And do not forget about me," Ammit said, the crocodile goddess putting a hand on her hip. "I'm here as well."
"Get in line, lady. I still have the honor of being the first villain on his team," Randall said, crossing his arms.
"After you guys would be…" Gabriel thought aloud.
"Team Magic Bros is here!" Barley called, arriving alongside his brother Barley and the Hexsquad.
"You can't forget that we were the ones that were your first friends here in the Magical World," Eda said, giving finger guns to Gabriel.
"Uh, guys? Why is Emperor Belos standing over there?" Luz asked, the Hexsquad going on guard as their arch enemy awkwardly stood off to the side of the castle.
"Well I wanted to get Mirrorverse Belos here, but the Guardians of the Stellar Mirror are busy so I had to make due," Gabriel shrugged.
"Don't worry kids. I've set up some surprises in case he tries anything," Rocket assured them.
"Is this the place for the picture?" the Mandalorian asked, arriving alongside his adopted son, Grogu.
"Mando! Glad you could make it!" Gabriel cheered.
"I am here as well," Mr. Kat said, popping out of Grogu's pram.
"Oh yeah, you're that alien cat we've run into a few times," Sisu recalled.
"You can't leave us out of this!" Nick Wilde called, arriving on the scene alongside Judy Hopps, with the Heeler family not far behind them.
"This is going to be the best photo ever!" Bluey cheered.
"There's a lot of Disney characters here, but what about your other friends?" Chili asked.
"They'll be here soon enough," Gabriel assured her.
As he said that, the rest of the Dream Defenders started to show up one by one: Logan and his team pulling up in their team vehicle from the Grand Prix, Rachel teleporting in alongside Poe and Jameson (with some Dream Eaters in tow), Adam and Melanie arriving on his jetpack, and Silver waltzing in with Staghart and the princesses. Aline and Binx arrived with the Disney cats not far behind, while Double D and his Dance Magic Crew made everyone stop and stare at their entrance, followed by Toren and his Jaquin family, Robin Hood and Maid Marian, Beth and Brian arriving with their mad scientist friends, Ben and Nuka making a crash landing with some wind magic, and Melody doing a superhero landing in her hero armor while Almyra and her team appeared in a flash of magic.
"There's all of the mainstays. This should be everybody," Logan nodded.
"Wait just a minute, Logan. We've got a lot more expecting to come," Rachel said.
"Really? This looks like everyone to me," Adam questioned.
"No, Gabriel wants everyone to be here. It's the Smash Ultimate of Magical World photos," Toren shook his head.
"You're right, Toren. So then, let's give them all their dues here!" Gabriel nodded. "Coming in first, the demigod Chris Ender!"
The Son of Hades arrived, doing a trick with his flaming yo-yos. "I hope you don't mind but I brought some friends from Camp Half-Blood with me to this."
"The more the merrier," Gabriel smiled.
"Hello Percy! Nice to see you here!" Destiny waved. "I'm excited to see your show when it comes out!"
"The right-hand man to business in the Wasteland, Jacob!" The boxer waved as Oswald bounced in alongside him.
"The baking duo that's all sugar and sweets, Ana and Berry!" The identical twins appeared in a burst of confetti alongside Deadpool.
"I knew I'd get to be in one these someday!" the Merc with a Mouth said to the Fourth Wall.
"The mage of fire, Ali!" She appeared with a burst of fire magic.
"Woah, it's been forever since we last met, Alison!" Rachel said, shaking her hand.
"It's okay. I just wanted to do some more independent studies after my time with Yen Sid ended," Ali replied.
"Still, we were the OG trio at one point. We should really get back together sometime," Logan mused.
"The Jedi with a knack for getting the best scoops, Mia!" The newsgirl waved as she arrived alongside the boys from Newsies.
"I made sure Kylo Ren wouldn't run this for you, don't worry," Mia said.
"That guy really has it out for Gabriel, I swear…" Brooklyn shook his head.
"The ghost that's the most gentlemanly of them all, Phantasm!" He appeared from his invisible state and gave a bow.
"Oh it's been ages, Phantasm! You should come on holiday with Adam and I sometime," Melanie said as she shook Phantasm's hand.
"The edge lord of the Magical World, Kage!" She shrugged and joined the lineup.
"I'm just here for the free food, then I'm dipping," Kage said.
"He could use some more confidence but we're all here for him, Neville!" Neville gave a wave as he was welcomed into the group.
"Another magical singer and rising star, Aira!"
"We really do have a lot of vocal talent here, don't we?" Aline mused as she greeted Aria.
"The half-human with power over fire and ice, N!" The guy with one letter for a name gave a fist bump to Toren as he walked in.
"Weren't there two guys that caused a lot of trouble at the first Sorcerer's Arena?" N asked.
"That would be Genesis and Ditto, and no there were not invited," Gabriel replied. "Next is the shapeshifting superhero, Seth!"
"Sorry if I haven't seen you all in a while. I just have a lot of training at Avengers Campus," Seth said as he arrived with is best friend, Reptil.
"The falcon with a connection to the gods, Tomada!"
"What's up, owl buddy?" Tomada greeted Logan, the two sharing a friendly hug.
"He's a wolf with a passion for traps, it's Roman!" The wolf grinned as Logan gave him a high five.
"Okay, now that has to be everyone," Silver sighed.
"Oh the people I've met for sure, give or take a few," Gabriel said. He looked over to the camera and walked in front of everyone, giving them a big smile. "Guys, I'm so proud of all we've gotten to do together. When I first came here I was just a raven with a passion for music and Disney, and now I have all of you guys to call my friends. We've been through a lot: gone to space, under the sea, and everywhere in-between, I found the love of my life in a beautiful hyena queen-"
"You know it!" Jasiri giggled.
Gabriel gave her a kiss on the forehead. "We rocked the House of Mouse, fought in a tournament where Lena finally got to reunite with her dad, and we all were there when we battled again Hex and his forces of darkness. We had a lot of fun racing in the grand prix, and I taught a new generation of Dream Keepers out in the Mirrorverse-"
"Where we totally saved my brother from a trio of troublemakers," Beth added.
"Hey! My character wasn't clearly defined back then! It's not my fault people thought I'd be the final villain of my show," the Collector defended himself.
"It's okay, TC, let it go," Toren assured his friend.
"All these people that I hate are here…" Belos muttered to himself at the back of the group.
Gabriel continued, "And now we're all here to celebrate this special day together. So, bring all in guys!" The group all got in close as Gabriel levitated the camera up into the air. "Say, "Magical World Forever!"

Originally I wanted to have a big elaborate chapter, but then I realized that something smaller and more retrospective was more fitting for this event. I went back and tried to find every guest that's ever appeared in the Magical World saga, at least in my stories, since I'm sure other people's stories have introduced more. If I forgot to mention your character here, be assured that they would be in the big photo at the end. Gabriel wouldn't leave anyone out of this moment!
It's been three years of the Magical World, and I'm thankful that the wonderful world of Disney has let me meet all of you here on FFNet. In your review I'd like each of you to tell me what your favorite Disney memory is. For myself it has to be going to Walt Disney World and getting to see Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps at the Move It, Shake It, Dance and Play It Street Party.
