A/N: Hey, everybody! It's me, MBAV fan66! And I bring to you chapter 7 of The Mercenary Wizard! :D

So, that last chapter was just so... well I'm not sure how to describe it, really! It was just all of the happy, good, and giddy type feelings there are, all rolled up into one! Eek! 3 Sarah and Erica are a couple of devious little matchmakers, huh? *giggles* They totally gave Ethan the nudge he needed to man up and just tell Benny how he feels about him, by setting them up on a non-ice cream date of sorts. I feel bad for Rory, though. He had no clue what was going on and he really wanted some ice cream, too. Maybe later the girls will make it up to him and go take him to get some or something later on. *shrug* :)

After Ethan's last 2 boyfriends, I'm surprised Ethan isn't a bit shy or cautious about jumping into the dating scene again. Although it's only been a year (or maybe more) since he last dated anyone. So, I guess that's enough time to heal and get over the heartache that his last boyfriend left on his heart, back then. But will this new relationship with Benny be any different? Stay tuned to find out! :D

But first! We've got some shout-outs to get to! :D So, shout out to these lovely people!:

They're just a couple of dorks in love with each other, and yet have no idea about it, either. *giggles* But they do now! Thanks to Sarah and Erica cleverly coming up with a plan to get them along with each other and to give Ethan the little boost he needed to finally tell Benny how he feels about him. :) Anyway, I hope you'll like this chapter just as much as the last one. Enjoy! ;D

Demonic Prince Grayson- Thank you for adding this story to your favorites list and follow list. I greatly appreciate it! :D

As Ethan and Benny were walking down the street after leaving the ice cream parlor to go find the girls and Rory to tell them the good news, a thought suddenly occurred to Benny. "Hold on. How do we even know where to find them if their whole 'Vampire Council errand thing' was just a bogus lie to get us alone together?" wondered Benny curiously.

"Oh, I think I might know where to find them at this time of day." answered Ethan smugly with a knowing smirk as they walked. Which wasn't very far from where they were at, anyway.

Meanwhile, inside a clothing shop at the mall.

"So, why am I here again? I thought we were supposed to be doing something important for the Vampire Council." questioned Rory in confusion, as he stood there in the changing room area just outside a couple of the stalls with his arms full of all types of clothing. If it wasn't for him being a vampire, he'd probably fall over from all the weight with how much stuff he's being forced to hold, currently.

"Shut it, dork! I already told you!" rudely came Erica's voice from one of the stalls. She then opened the stall door and emerged from it while wearing one of the outfits she grabbed from the racks to try on. "You're here to do what all good men do when they go shopping with women. Stand there and hold our purses while we try on a few things, like a good little boy. That's why." she then stated sassily to the blonde with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Yeah, but... You guys aren't even carrying any purses." pointed out Rory to her in mild confusion.

Erica then placed her left hand on her hip while she shifted her body weight more over on her left side/leg as she stood there with an annoyed expression on her face after rolling her eyes at him. "Ugh! Fine! Whatever! Then you're here to be our personal walking clothing rack, then. There! Are you happy now?" sassed Erica in annoyance.

"No. Not really." muttered/pouted Rory unhappily, then. Although it was more to himself than to Erica, though. Seeing as she probably didn't even care because it was more of a rhetorical question than an actual one, and Rory knew that. "But what about the Council thing you said we had to do? Shouldn't we be doing that instead of shopping at the mall?" he then asked perplexingly, not getting why they were at the mall instead of taking care of whatever it was the Vampire Council wanted them to do. He knows how demanding and impatient the Council can be when it comes to doing their bidding for them.

This time it was Sarah who answered him, as she stepped out of the changing stall next to the one that Erica was in, wearing a completely different outfit than the one she had on earlier that day. "Don't tell me you still haven't figured it out yet, Rory?" she stated in amusement with a small giggle afterward. Rory just stood there looking like a confused puppy at her. "It was obviously a lie!" she then lightheartedly blurted out to him, finally.

Now, Rory was more confused than before. "A lie? But why?"

"Because we wanted to get Ethan alone with Benny!" exclaimed Erica frustratingly at the blonde.

Again, Rory was at a loss. But before he could open his mouth to ask why, Erica beat him to the punch with the answer. Well, it was more in the form of a question that led to the answer he was seeking, that is. "Do you not remember the conversation we had with him in his room just a few days ago?" she said sassily to him.

Rory's face then scrunched up in thought as he thought back to that day. Then that's when it finally hit him. "Oh! I remember now!" he drawled in realization at the thought, remembering how Ethan told them how he had a big crush on Benny but was too scared to ever tell him that to his face, though. "So, the whole thing was just a setup, then?" he curiously asked then.

"Yup!" nodded Sarah simply, before turning her attention to Erica. "How does it look?" she asked her, as she twisted and turned her body a little to show off the outfit she had on. Since vampires don't have reflections, this was the only way for them to be able to tell how an outfit looks on them. Which is a bit annoying in Sarah's opinion, though. Obviously, her and Erica's wardrobe choices differ a bit, but Sarah trusts her best friend's fashion sense when it comes to her. After all, no one knows her as well as Erica does.

Erica stood there looking Sarah up and down at the outfit she had on, judging it carefully. "Hmm... Keep the top. But ditch the bottoms, though. They don't look right on you. Or with that top." stated Erica in an opinionated-like manner. "Now, my turn!" she then exclaimed. "How do I look?" she asked while twirling around to give Sarah a better look at her outfit.

Sarah stood there judging it for a second before telling her final opinion. "I like it! It's totally so you!" complimented Sarah earnestly. Just as Erica knows her really well, the same could be said in reverse about her, as well. Sarah knew Erica like no one else does in this town. And that's including her fashion choices, too. "So, now that that's over with. I wonder how it's going with Ethan and Benny?" mused Sarah thoughtfully/curiously to her fellow fangy friends.

"Who knows, really." shrugged Erica. "Hopefully, they're together by now, so we can stop hearing Ethan fawning over Benny all the time." she said casually at first before taking on more of a slightly annoyed/exaggerated kind of tone at the end. Although she just was being overdramatic for fun, though, which caused Sarah to laugh a little.

Suddenly, the two (and also Rory) were interrupted by a familiar voice in the store, startling them in the process.

"So, this is what the very important Vampire Council task was, then? Clothes shopping?" came a mildly irritated and unamused sounding voice from nearby that sounded an awfully like Ethan's voice. Because it was.

When they looked over in the direction the voice had come from, they saw a not-too-happy-looking Ethan standing there with his arms crossed over his chest and a scowl on his face with an upturned eyebrow to show his annoyance with the sight before him. And next to him was an uninterested-looking Benny, who wasn't really all that upset with the girls' earlier little ruse to get them alone like Ethan was. In fact, he was actually grateful for it because it got him all that more closer to getting Ethan to (hopefully) reveal to him where in the house, his family keeps the Lucifractor hidden at. Besides, currently, he was more interested in possibly going and checking out the men's selection of the store to see what they got, instead. Nothing wrong with wanting to look your best all the time, is there? He was particularly fond of wearing striped shirts. Although he doesn't wear them as much as he used to, anymore. But he still liked to wear them occasionally, though. He thought he looked good in stripes.

The 2 girls didn't know what to say to the ticked-off seer. So, they just nervously tried to play it cool. "Oh! Uh... Heeyy, there, Ethan. How's it... going?" said Sarah slowly in an awkward sort of way, as she gave a small, short awkward laugh afterward. All while also trying to not look so nervous at being found out, as well.

But Ethan didn't answer her. Instead, he continued glaring at the trio of vampires angrily with his arms crossed still.

"Would you believe us if we said that we were able to finish our Council task early, so we decided to hit the mall and do a little shopping, instead?" nervously asked Erica in a hopeful manner. Hoping that he'll buy it.

Of course, Ethan wasn't buying it.

"No. I wouldn't." he said to her seriously with an unamused scowl on his face.

"I didn't think you would." mumbled Erica disappointingly.

"How stupid do you two think I am, huh?!" blurted out Ethan infuriatingly at the girls, then. He waited for a reply from them but didn't get one. When he didn't receive one from them, Ethan went on with his disapproving rant towards them. "I can't believe that you two think I'm gullible enough, to ever buy something like that so easily! I'm not Rory!" he scolded. "No offense." he then nonchalantly added in a more calmer manner to Rory.

"None taken!" delightfully beamed back Rory at him.

"Uh... technically, you did fall for it." meekly pointed out Erica to the fuming Ethan. "If not for a little while, that is." she quipped soon afterward while giving a small shrug of her shoulder.

This caused Ethan to redirect his attention and anger back onto the girls, again. Glaring fiercely at Erica for her smart-aleck comment. Erica flinched a little at the sight. Sure, normally she was the more intimidating one in the group. But she couldn't deny just how scary her seer friend can be at times when he's really pissed off at you. Not to mention, if he wanted, he could very easily go into your mind and probably mess with your memories and thoughts if he truly wanted to. It's a scary thought knowing that someone can have that much power over you, mentally. Thankfully, in the Morgan family, there were certain rules and restrictions that they followed when it came to their powers. A... moral code, if you will. And one of them was for the seers in the family, was to never use their powers to mentally harm someone. Unless it was absolutely necessary, that is.

"Not helping, Erica!" whisper-yelled Sarah to her best friend before looking back at Ethan with a small nervous/friendly smile on her face. "Look, Ethan. We're sorry for -" she began to say before being cut off by Ethan.

"For what?! Oh, you mean for lying to me?! To Benny?! Just so you can get us alone together, and that we'll hopefully become a couple in the end?!" angrily exclaimed Ethan sarcastically and rhetorically.

Unfortunately, however. After a brief moment of silence between the two female vampires, Erica couldn't help herself and just had to say something. "So, uh... how... did it go? Did it work?" she nervously asked in a curious and hopeful manner.

"That's none of your business!" snapped Ethan furiously at her. Benny kind of started to feel bad for the girls then, as he stood there watching Ethan lay into them. But he did kind of have to admit, though. Seeing him like this was kind of turning him on, right now. Ethan was pretty hot when he was totally angry at something. He's just thankful that none of that anger was directed at him! Then... it wouldn't be so hot, anymore.

"Maybe you should take it easy on them. Eh, E? After all, they only meant well." calmly suggested Benny in a kind and gentle tone to the angry seer, as he tried to defuse the situation a bit. But that only earned him a sharp glare in his direction from Ethan, instead. Telling him to butt out. Benny quickly clammed up in silence after that, instantly regretting his decision to step in.

"How come it seems like your anger is more directed towards me and Sarah than it is towards Rory?" curiously asked Erica, afterward.

"Because, Erica! For one, Rory is an idiot!" fumed Ethan at her, before then turning to look at Rory with a more softer look. "No offense." he then said again to Rory.

Rory only smiled back widely at him with his usual vigor and cheeriness that he always had about him, as if it was nothing. "None taken!" he said back cheerfully, knowing that it was true. He wasn't always the smartest when it came to simple logic most of the time. But he was pretty smart academically, though! Not as much as Ethan was, but good enough to pass most of his classes and to get into a good enough college, at least.

Ethan gave a little smile back as gratitude before refocusing his attention back onto Erica again. "And for two, thinking back on our conversation earlier after the movie was over with, you two seemed pretty eager to leave and go do this so-called 'task' that the Vampire Council had wanted you to do. Whereas poor Rory seemed completely in the dark about it as you two unwillingly dragged him away." he explained, giving his second reason as to why he's more madder at them than he is at Rory about the whole thing. "Also, I know Rory. And there's no way he would be clever enough to come up with a lie like that one. But you two, on the other hand, could." he added conclusively with a serious expression on his face as he narrowed his eyes at them, too.

"Looks like the jury's verdict on us is out. Huh, Erica?" disappointedly sighed Sarah in defeat to her accomplice.

"Yeah. And it came back as 'guilty as hell'." quipped back Erica in the same tone and manner as Sarah's, as they both looked and frowned at each other.

Now fed up with it all, Ethan scoffed/moaned out of frustration at them as he threw his hands up in the air while shaking his head in disappointment. "I can't believe you two." he said patronizingly to them, before turning and walking away. "I'm out of here."

Benny stood there like a deer in headlights, as he had no idea what to do as he watched Ethan walk away. He then looked back at the others to flash them a small sympathetic smile before he suddenly heard himself being summoned by his angry and upset boyfriend near the store's entrance.

"Benny! Let's go! Now!" demandingly shouted a peeved Ethan in the store.

"Uh... Coming!" shouted back Benny nervously to the seer before turning his attention back to the vampires before him. "Um... I gotta go now." he awkwardly stated to the vamps as he pointed his thumb over his shoulder in the direction Ethan had gone in. "But don't worry! I'll handle Ethan! Just let me talk to him real quick before you do anything! Ok?!" he then quickly reassured them before darting off to catch up with the seer.

A couple of minutes later, Benny was able to catch up to Ethan 2 shops down from the clothing store they were just in a moment ago. "Hey, E! Wait up!" called out Benny desperately to his boyfriend, as he managed to reach him. As they walked side by side, Benny couldn't help but take Ethan's hand in his as they walked. Ethan's bad mood quickly melted away then, as they walked hand-in-hand through the mall together. There was a moment of comfortable silence between them for a minute before Benny decided to break it.

"So, you're not really mad at them for setting us up the way they did, are you?" asked Benny.

"Eh. Not really." shrugged Ethan. "I mean, I am a little bit mad at them for it, but not as mad as I led them to believe back there, that is." he then stated nonchalantly, giving a little wicked smile at the end.

Benny looked at him in shock before smirking in pride at his boyfriend's fiendish side. "Ethan Morgan... You deceitful little bastard, you... You only pretended to be royally ticked off at them just to teach them a lesson! Didn't you?!" amusingly deduced an impressed-looking Benny.

Ethan gave a little shrug again in response. "Eh. They deserved it." he stated in a carefree way. "Maybe next time, they'll learn not to butt in my love life the way they did by lying to me about some non-existent Vampire Council task that only they can handle, then." he lightly sassed begrudgingly in a simple enough manner.

"Yeah. But you've gotta admit, it did kind of work, though." stated Benny with an easygoing approach to the whole thing. He then lifted their clasped hands up a little to prove his point, all while smiling sweetly at the seer.

Ethan lightly giggled a little at this as he smiled back at the wizard. "Yeah. I suppose you're right." he said genuinely in agreement. He then leaned closer to Benny so that he could take the wizard's arm (the same one that was attached to the hand he was holding) in his other arm as if hugging it, while also comfortingly resting his head on Benny's shoulder, as well, as they casually strolled along. Just enjoying each other's company and the peace it brought with it.

Until that peace was suddenly broken, that is.

"I knew it!" came Erica's voice from behind, startling the two lovebirds from their romantic little gesture together. Ethan and Benny quickly pulled apart from one another and turned around with astonished looks on their faces as they faced their friends. Erica stood there with a smug look on her face as she had her arms crossed over her chest. Sarah was right beside her with a smug smirk of her own as she held a couple of shopping bags in her hand. Rory was right behind them as he struggled to carry all of the shopping bags that Erica forced him to carry. All of which were hers. "See, Sarah. I told you it worked. All they needed was a little nudge from us to get the ball rolling. And now look! They're all lovey-dovey with each other while holding hands together in the mall, like a couple of lovebirds." stated Erica triumphantly in an arrogant manner while also teasing the boys, too.

"You're right. Our little ruse did work." agreed Sarah the same way. "Funny how mad at us you still seem, right now, after blowing our heads off about it just a minute ago." she then mockingly said to Ethan in an amusing/sarcastic kind of way with a grin.

"Maybe Benny just has that kind of effect on him or something? You know. A calming one." added Erica in the same teasing-like manner as Sarah, as she continued to grin knowingly at them, as well.

Sarah then turned towards Erica fake gushing with delight and joy at the situation. "Oooh!" she teasingly drawled out in fake delight as she clasped her hands together and held them up to her cheek while smiling a big bright, cheery smile at them, as she pretended to be swooning over how romantic and cute that sounded. Then she playfully gripped Erica's shoulder while resting her head on her hands as she lightly leaned into the blonde a bit. "That's so cute!" swooned Sarah fondly.

Following Sarah's lead, Erica then tilted her towards Sarah's while placing a hand over her heart, giving the same fake swooning-like expression on her face, as well. "I know! Right?!" gushed Erica sweetly in response. Then the two turned towards each other and started jumping up and down all giddy and silly-like while playfully slapping each other as if they were a couple of schoolgirls.

Ethan just rolled his eyes at the scene while Benny couldn't help but look somewhat bashful about it. "Hardy har har, girls." lamely joshed Ethan back at them with an annoyed/unamused look on his face. "You can stop now, you know."

Sarah and Erica then started to genuinely laugh at the ordeal.

"Oh, come on, Ethan! You know we're right!" stated Sarah after finishing their laughing fit together.

"Yeah! If it wasn't for us, then you two never would've hooked up! At least, not your own, that is." self-satisfyingly stated Erica. "So, I think you owe us a thank you." she then sassily pointed out, pointing to Ethan and Benny first before then pointing back between Sarah and herself.

Of course, Rory didn't miss a beat and had gotten somewhat offended that she didn't include him in the 'us' part of what she said while indicating both parties involved. "Hey!" exclaimed Rory in offense.

Erica rolled her eyes before adding, "And you, too. I suppose."

Which made Rory extremely happy, then.

"So, let's hear it! Where's our thank you at? Huh, you two...?" impatiently and lightheartedly demanded Sarah, then.

Ethan and Benny looked at each other for a second before looking back at them with an annoyed scowl on their faces. "Thank you." they both despondently said in unison at the vampires. Not really wanting to say it, but decided to anyway, if only to get them to shut up about it. Plus, they're vampires, while they (themselves) were just a couple of measly humans. So, they could very easily beat them up if they wanted to. At least, the girls can, that is. Rory was too nice to ever want to beat up his only guy friends.

"Happy now?" sarcastically asked Ethan soon after with mild annoyance laced in his voice when he said it.

"Very." replied Sarah pleasantly with a big smile on her face, causing Ethan to respond with a roll of his eyes at her.

"So, when's the first date?!" suddenly asked Erica a bit brashly.

"Uh..." drawled out Ethan in uncertainty, as he was a little taken aback by the question. He honestly didn't know how to answer that considering he and Benny haven't talked about a first date yet, even. "We... haven't gotten that far, yet." bashfully answered Ethan with a blush, as he looked down in embarrassment.

"We're still in negotiations about it. Sorry." quickly supplied Benny, stepping in for his embarrassed boyfriend. "But we'll let you know when we know! Ok?" he hurriedly said afterward.

"Ugh. Fine. Whatever." dramatically sighed Erica in a mix of disappointment and annoyance.

Suddenly, Rory dropped a few of the bags he was busy carrying onto the floor, thus drawing everyone's attention to him. "Oops! Sorry, babe! I'll pick those up right away!" he quickly said to her in panic, not wanting to make her mad at him. Not because he was scared of her beating him up, but rather because he didn't want to fail the task, she had given him if he hoped to ever score a date with her, is why. Not that she had promised him a date if he did carry her bags for her, in the first place. But in Rory's mind, he thought that if he did then maybe someday, she'd be more open to the idea then, if she saw how devoted he was to her. He'd almost do anything just to please her. Even if it's something he doesn't want to do. Like carrying all of her shopping bags for example.

Erica hissed at the blonde for calling her babe as if they were together or something. "I told you, not to call me that! We're not a thing!" she angrily scolded back at him in return.

"Sure! Whatever you say, ba-... I mean... Erica." excitedly said Rory at first, before quickly correcting himself after almost making the mistake of calling her 'babe' again. He let out a short awkward/nervous little laugh and smile afterward, before then moving to pick up the bags he dropped earlier.

"Come on, Erica. Cut the poor guy some slack. Will ya? He's your friend." kindly suggested Benny sympathetically, as he spoke up to defend the poor guy against her harsh attitude towards him. Sure, Rory can be a bit annoying and too much at times. Maybe even not the smartest at times, too. But what Benny quickly realized about the guy is that his heart is always in the right place and that means good. Benny could clearly see that Rory was crushing on Erica BIG TIME and that all he wanted to do was prove to her that he was worthy enough to be her boyfriend, someday. Even if it is painstakingly clear that she's just not all that into him as he is with her. It was kind of sweet and romantic if you thought about it. And who knows, maybe one day he'll manage to wear her down finally and she'll actually give him a chance?

Benny then walked over to Rory. "Here. Let me help you." kindly offered Benny, as he took some of the bags that Rory was carrying. Erica just rolled her eyes at him, as she watched him grab a few bags from Rory to help lighten his load a bit.

Rory sighed in relief once he felt the weight, he was carrying in his arms lessen some thanks to Benny's help. He really appreciated it. "Thanks, bro! You're a lifesaver!" thanked Rory gratefully.

"No prob, man! Anytime!" replied Benny, flashing him a smile.

"Good luck! Ethan and I have been telling her that for years now, and she still treats Rory like dirt." quipped Sarah sarcastically in amusement at the wizard about his request for Erica to go easy on Rory.

"Hey! It's not my fault that he worships the ground I walk on and will do anything I ask of him! I might as well use it to my advantage, then!" snobbishly stated Erica in defense before flipping her hair over her shoulder flauntingly in defiance for show. "Humph! Such is the price of beauty." she then sassily said soon after with her head turned to the side a little and her nose slightly pointing upward in the air with her eyes closed, all while sporting a haughty-like frown on her face, as well.

Sarah and Ethan both just rolled their eyes and shook their heads at her. "She'll never change." stated Sarah somewhat discouragingly, but more so lightheartedly, as she gave a little smile at the end.

Sarah, Ethan, and Rory all laughed at that, knowing it was true. Even Erica laughed along with them, too. Benny also laughed with them, even though he hadn't known Erica for as long as they had. But he still found it funny, though, and somehow knew that they were probably right. Erica will never change. In the time he's spent with her so far, he can just tell. But that's alright with him because deep down, he can see that she actually does have a softer side to her. It just only ever comes out whenever the time really calls for it, that is. Also, he thinks that Erica being somewhat mean and bossy to Rory is her own, weird way of showing that she actually cares about him. She just doesn't want him or anybody else for that matter, to know about it, though. But Benny can see right through her little act, and Sarah and Ethan probably can, too.

"Alright, that's enough laughing for now. Let's get out of here. I'm starting to get a bit famished, from all the shopping I've done today. Shopping tends to work up an appetite, sometimes." said Erica, being the one to end the group's fit of laughter. She then flashed her fangs in a sly and devilish-like grin, afterward, to show that she wasn't talking about human food, either.

"Not to mention, matchmaking, as well." added Sarah jokingly, as well.

"Yeah. That too." commented Erica in agreement while still grinning. "The 2 lovebirds here got to eat something earlier, but we vamps haven't yet. Not since before meeting up for the movie, that is." she then casually/teasingly pointed out to the group. "And although we did have popcorn during the movie, it's not very filling for us vampires, like it is to you, humans. We need blood." she sarcastically stated, more so to Ethan and Benny.

"Erica's right. I'm kind of getting a bit hungry, as well. And not for any fast food, either." agreed Sarah a little dishearteningly. She hated it every time her craving for blood would kick in. She may have accepted it by now, but she'll never get used to the idea of having to drink blood just to stay alive, though.

Benny noticed Sarah's not-too-thrilled expression about having to drink blood and felt sorry for her. "It must be rough being a vampire." he said sympathetically.

"It is. At least, in my opinion, it is, anyway." dejectedly replied Sarah. "But it's ok. I'm somewhat used to it by now. I've come to realize that being a vampire is now a part of who I am. So, why fight it?" she then said to him in a more upbeat manner with a smile on her face.

"More like a reluctant vampire." quietly mumbled/scoffed Erica as a lighthearted and teasing remark, which earned her a stern glare from Sarah. Of course, Erica only smirked at her in return, though.

Benny only nodded at Sarah's words while smiling supportively back at her. "Well, anyway... how about we help you take these back to your place first before you go off to 'grab a bite to eat'?" politely offered Benny, as he slightly lifted the few bags he had in his hands, up a little, as an indicator of what he's referring to.

"Sounds good to me." kindly smiled Sarah, taking Benny up on his offer.

So, they all left the mall together.

A/N: And that is all I've got for this chapter! :D No, really. I honestly couldn't think of anything more to add to this chapter except for that. :/ Lol!

So, what do you all think? Happy that the girls' little matchmaking trick on Ethan and Benny worked, and that Ethan and Benny weren't too mad at them afterward once they've realized they had been set up by them? Or how Ethan tried to turn the tables on them by playing the guilt trip card on them? Are you happy that in the end, it all worked out and they're all still such good friends?

If I didn't know any better, I believe that Benny is actually enjoying himself while being around others because not only does he have a boyfriend now, but also friends now, as well. Probably his first friends EVER, really.

Of course, Benny is still conflicted on his reason for deciding to date Ethan, in the first place. But he just can't help but to fall in love with the seer, the more time he spends with him. Which will win out in the end, love or lies? Will his romance with Ethan become more of a distraction than a key part of his plan to get his hands on the Lucifractor for Stern, instead? Or will Benny manage to pull it off in the end, but regrettably will wind up breaking poor Ethan's heart in the end, as well? All for the sake of money. Right now, Benny is balancing dangerously close between the two sides, here. Could his relationship with Ethan be the one thing to turn him back on the path of good, again? Who knows!? :D You gotta stay tuned to find out! ;D

Until then, I'll be seeing you all around and in the next chapter of The Mercenary Wizard! So, take care and stay safe out there! Byeeee! *waves goodbye vigorously at you with a big smile on my face* :D
