Meanwhile in the caves, Alan, Ellie, and Maisie were still following the tunnel for a way out.
Ellie then gasped. "Did you feel that?" She asked. "That's an air current. Must be an opening up ahead."
"How old is this mine, do you think?" Alan asked.
"Just breathe." Ellie said having no idea. "Nobody panic. Just watch out for bats." She looked around.
"Who said anything about bats?/I hate bats." Alan and Maisie said in unison nervous at the thought.
"Well, there's probably no bats." Ellie said trying to be positive. "No falling rocks. Just a possibly of toxic gas, dehydration, hypothermia. Just possibilities, nothing for certain." She then sighed. "Oh, I should've left you where you were. Why did I bring you into this?" She told regretfully to Alan. "You were happy in your element."
"What? What?" Alan said surprised. "Ellie."
"What?" Ellie said turning to him.
"I wasn't happy." Alan said.
Ellie stared. "You weren't?"
"Do you guys have kids?" Maisie asked suddenly.
Ellie turns back to Maisie.
"What?" Alan frowned as it was an odd thing to bring up.
"Uh... no." Ellie said awkwardly. "I-I do. Two."
"But not with him?" Maisie said gesturing to Alan.
Ellie turns to him. "Uh... No." She shook her head. "No, just old friends." She then walks off.
"Uh, just old friends." Alan cleared his throat and heads off.
"Really?" Maisie said though feeling something between them.
Even though she was a teenager, and not in a relationship yet, Maisie can see something like with Owen and Claire.
Back at the facility, a security pad chimed and the door opened as Ramsay and Ian entered a maintenance garage.
"Won't be long before security knows you're gone." Ramsay said.
They got to a desk as Ramsay brought a map out.
"Oh, a map." Ian said. "That looks like an old map. You don't have a new map?"
"There's an access gate at the northeast corner of the mine." Ramsay said. "If your friends make it out..."
"If?" Ian stared.
"When they make it out." Ramsay corrected.
"Yes, sir." Ian said.
"That's where they'll be." Ramsay finished.
He then grabs a set of keys.
"These roads are protected, right?" Ian asked as Ramsay tossed him the keys.
"Uh. yeah, I'd drive fast." Ramsay said.
Ian soon climbs in a Gladiator and starts the engine, and backs up the Gladiator and bumps a table as a few things fell to the floor and the tires screeched as it stopped.
Ian then drove forward a bit and turns to Ramsay.
"You did good." Ian said.
"Yeah. Well, actually, it's a complete disaster, but thanks." Ramsay said.
"Not yet." Ian assured removing his glasses.
Ramsay opens the garage door and Ian then drives off heading to the mine shaft to meet them there before they get some unwelcome company.
Meanwhile in his office, Lewis was busy typing on his computer, and brought up the research files of Hexapod Allies and then deletes them as he was not taking any chances.
His phone then chimes a notification showing that the locust plague is now jumping continents. Lewis turns to his phone and looks through it newsreel page, and one section read of where the locusts were coming from to begin with.
Lewis sets his phone down and pushed the delete key on the keyboard, but a beeping got his attention as he turns to the screen seeing a system alert reading, "CANNOT DELETE FILES REMOTELY. GO TO MAIN SERVER.".
Lewis heads to a server room and pulls over a drawer and keyboard and works on it bringing up the Hexapod Allies files.
It was then that Ramsay appeared as he glanced back.
"Lewis?" Ramsay said.
"Ah, what?" Lewis said turning to him. "What? What are you doing down here? Actually, no. This is good."
"You sent a rescue team into the mines for Grant Sattler?" Ramsay asked.
"Yeah. What? Okay." Lewis said casually typing on the keyboard. "Of course. Yeah."
Ramsay then noticed what he was doing. "Are you deleting research files?"
"Uh, we are. Yes." Lewis said. "You and I got to protect what we've built, right? You think they wouldn't love to get their hands in here? Take all the resources I've spent decades collecting." He looks through the screen seeing the files now at a hard drive location, "RACK 51-TRAY 4". "Just because, what? We made a bad call? It happens." He then heads to find the hard drive. "Seven." He looks through the rack.
"Hexapod Allies." Ramsay said.
"What?" Lewis turned to him. "Oh. Okay. What do people know?"
"The locusts were designed to spread genetic modifications to crops." Ramsay explained. "Protection against droughts, frost, disease. A breakthrough."
"Goddamn right it was." Lewis said.
"Yeah. Only it didn't work." Ramsay added. "You ensured they can't eat Biosyn seed, so they're eating everything else."
"Which I did not see coming." Lewis honestly admitted. "But we have a solution."
"All the independent farmers suffered at first." Ramsay continued.
"Henry's on it." Lewis assured.
"Nobody cared much." Ramsay continues on. "Now the world's food supply is verging on collapse."
"Will find the girl, change the locusts' DNA." Lewis said.
"The trail's gonna lead back here to you." Ramsay finished.
"And we solve the problem." Lewis said losing his patience. "Ramsay, thank you."
Ramsay remains silent as Lewis pulls out a drive.
"Disappears in the next news cycle, just like everything else." Lewis said. "This is not it." He then looks around. "81c1."
"Or you could accept responsibility." Ramsay said. "Share your research with the world."
"Yep." Lewis said. "You know, I was 28 once. I get it. You look around, you... Realize you're surrounded by injustice and cruelty and you wanna change it. Yep. And then you grow up, somebody puts you in charge, and you see that there is no changing it." He pulls out a drive. "It's chomp or be chomped."
He then walks off.
"Where are you going with that?" Ramsay asked.
"Oh. We don't apologize for our mistakes." Lewis said holding the drive. "We erase them." He then walks off. "Stay on your phone. I may need you."
At his own office, Zach was busy on a computer as he placed a hard drive in a slot as he was finally beginning to download all of Aviva's secret designs and everything else.
"Goodbye, Wild Ratts." Zach smugly said. "And hello new start."
And he then evilly chuckled.
Back in the amber mines, Alan, Ellie, and Maisie were still following the tunnel for a way out.
"Watch yourself." Ellie said.
They then entered a cavern and looked around.
Alan went over to a ladder leading up to a ledge and turns holding the cutters.
"Ellie?" He said.
"Yeah." Ellie said grabbing them.
Alan checks the how stable the ladder is as then a loud rattling and rustling echoes through the cavern as Ellie gasped as they looked around.
"What was that?" Ellie asked alarmed.
Maisie looked around as they were beginning to think they weren't alone in this cavern.
Something was definitely out there.
After a moment, Ellie gasped as Alan begins to head up the ladder as they didn't want to stick around to find out what was around.
"Be careful." Ellie said.
Alan soon got to the top of the ladder and looks around the tunnel ahead but was too dark to see further on. He turns back to Ellie as she hands him the cutters, and as he held it out, the head of a reptile with sharp teeth suddenly emerges from the darkness and roars at him.
Terrified by the sudden appearance, Alan screamed letting go of the ladder and fell as Ellie gasped and Alan hits the cavern floor hard on his back with a grunt. And Maisie quickly rushes over to him.
"Oh, my God, Alan." Ellie said helping him up.
"Oh, my God. Are you okay?" Maisie asked.
Then a hissing snarl was heard as they looked and Maisie as their lights shined on a carnivorous reptile with a large sail on it's back, revealing to be a Dimetrodon as it growled.
Like Lystrosaurus, it too is not a dinosaur, but a Permian reptilian relative of mammals as it's a type of pelycosaur. Perhaps the most famous of the Paleozoic creatures, Dimetrodon lived in the Early Permian from 286 to 270 million years ago, and was around 11 feet long and over 660 pounds. It was likely the top predator of it's time as it patrolled hunting ranges from Texas to Oklahoma in the United States to Novia Scotia in Canada of North America, to Europe in places like perhaps Germany.
As well as their sheer size and power at the time, Dimetrodon has a killer edge. In their jaws, lies specialized teeth; incisors to tear off chucks of flesh and serrated canines to cut and slice, and smaller cheek teeth to shred. Dimetrodon in facts means Two-measures of teeth. Humans as well have inherited this same meat-eating teeth, but it's a smaller version.
Then Alan, Ellie, and Maisie turned as their lights shines on another Dimetrodon right in front of them growling as it looked hungry. As their usually prey are creatures like lizards, frogs, Edaphosaurus, and any other creatures it can catch.
Ellie stepped forward and with the cutters keeping the reptile back as Maisie grabs an old human skull. And Ellie swung the cutters keeping the Dimetrodon back shouting as Alan grabs a rib bone and Maisie screamed as Ellie continues swinging the cutters and Maisie threw the skull at the reptile.
Alan held the rib up ready to strike and saw his hat on the ground just a few feet away.
"FORGET THE HAT!" Ellie shouted.
Alan grunts quickly reaching for grab the hat, and manages to grab it but a lunging Dimetrodon snatches it just barely missing his hand as he steps back.
"Come on!" Ellie yelled.
They quickly rushed through a tunnel as Maisie dropped her flashlight and the Dimetrodon growls pursues after them crawling by it.
The trio hurried through the tunnel and turns to another on the left, but Maisie screamed as they saw another Dimetrodon crawling out of it. And they quickly hurried into another tunnel.
"Go, go, go!" Ellie cried as they rushed off.
They quickly got near the entrance of a tunnel as an old mine cart sat on the track near it.
"Go, go, go, go, go!" Ellie cried.
They got the gate blocking the tunnel entrance but found the doors were locked.
"There's no button." Ellie said feeling around the gates.
Just then, lights shined as a vehicle was heard approaching.
"It's a car." Alan said.
Appearing in the light was Ian's shape.
"Oh, my God. Ian!" Ellie cried.
"Ian, over here!" Alan yelled.
The Dimetrodons were heard behind them with growling roars as Ellie looked back as Ian rushed to the gate.
"Help!" Maisie cried.
"Please, Ian!" Ellie cried.
"Open the gate!" Alan urged.
"Please help us!" Maisie pleaded.
Ian got over to the side of the gate where there was a keypad.
"Do you know the code?" Alan asked.
"I didn't know there was gonna be a code?" Ian said.
He then turns to the keypad as the Dimetrodons shrieked.
"I didn't know there was gonna be a code." Ian honestly said.
Suddenly a Dimetrodon roars standing up onto the mine cart.
"Oh, my God! Oh, my God!" Ellie cried of the reptile almost on top of them as they turn to it.
They then forcefully held the cart back.
"The brake! Pull the brake!" Ellie yelled.
"There are 10,000 possibilities." Ian said.
"Push your legs against it!" Ellie yelled.
They strained and groaned holding the cart back.
"1984." Ian punched a code.
"Come on, Ian!" Alan yelled.
"Kick up against it!" Ellie cried.
"Hurry!" Maisie yelled as the Dimetrodon roared.
"Miles Davis' birthday, 0526." Ian punched another code trying again.
Alan, Ellie, and Maisie strained as they held the cart back just to avoid getting crushed as a second Dimetrodon appeared and roared and tries to snaps at them as they were out of it's reach.
"Ian!" Alan yelled pulling the brake of the cart.
"Please, please." Ellie pleaded.
"Do something!" Alan yelled.
"We're not gonna make it." Ellie cried.
"Let's-let's all try to stay positive." Ian urged calmly.
Back at the facility, Ramsay glanced back as everyone was busy at their consoles. And he heads into a room and looks through a monitor showing the mine entrance as Ian was struggling on the keypad and Alan, Ellie, and Maisie trapped and in danger.
Then then works the computer typing away.
Alan, Ellie, and Maisie straining holding the cart back as the second Dimetrodon growls and snaps as it tries to slip through the gap between the cart and the wall. But Alan then kicks the ravenous reptile in the face as it snarls.
He then quickly grabs the brake again as Maisie threw a rock at the first Dimetrodon's face as it shrieked.
"Please." Ellie cried.
"I know, I know. I know!" Ian said working the keypad.
Ramsay manages to work on a screen keypad for the gate, and types "9-5-1-7" and pressed the enter key.
The gate's lock then lights green as it clunks, and Maisie gasped and they quickly pushed the gate doors open rushing outside as a Dimetrodon shrieked.
"Oh, my God! Close it!" Ellie cried.
They quickly closed the doors and they locked at they lit red.
"What do you know?" Ian said thinking it was him that got the right code. "It actually worked."
In the room, Ramsay sighs in relief and turn and walks off.
At the mine, Ellie sighs in relief from escaping another near-death experience.
"Ian, this is Maisie." Ellie introduced her to Ian.
"Hi, Maisie." Ian greeted.
"We got the DNA." Ellie said showing Ian the capsule with the swab.
"We need to get out of this valley." Alan said.
"Yeah." Ellie said.
"Come on. Come on." Alan said as they head to the Gladiator.
"Let's go. Let's go." Ellie said.
Elsewhere in the valley, by an outpost tower with the facility nearby, Claire arrives seeing after managing to avoid the many dinosaurs of the valley.
She went over to the tower and opens a panel and pants as she pushed a button as it beeped and clicked, and a light turned on as she turns as a ladder lowers down slowly.
Suddenly leaves rustled loudly as Claire turns to the direction seeing some plants jostled after something rushed by. And then a high-pitched chittering sound was heard as Claire gasped growing nervous knowing she wasn't alone here.
Hiding behind the tower, Claire turns back to the ladder still lowering.
"Come on." Claire said now trembling. "Come on. come on."
The ladder continues lowering as it was nearly finished as Claire begins to head to it. But then a high-pitched chitter sounding very close stopped her in her tracks as Claire saw the head of a small 10-foot long Theropod dinosaur sporting a pair of crests on it's head as it stared at her in a curious matter and looking harmless enough.
But looks can be deceiving.
Claire nervously backed away as the dinosaur squawked lowly knowing what it was; Dilophosaurus.
At first, these relatively small four-foot tall Theropods look harmless, and their usually prey were small animals like lizards, small mammals, perhaps fish, and plant-eating dinosaurs like Anchisaurus. But Dilophosaurus was one of the largest predatory dinosaurs of it's time in the Early Jurassic, 200 million years ago. But what makes them deadly is a threatening frill that pops open and that they can spit venom into a target's face stunning them long enough for the Dilophosaur to make the final blow.
And the venom is most deadly if it hits the eyes.
Claire backs away as then more rustling was heard and she looks back as more high-pitched chittering was heard and she saw a second Dilophosaur poking it's head out from the vegetation.
The chittering continues as Claire breathes trembly as another Dilophosaurus was seen, and she press against the tower in fear as the rustles and chitters continue on all around her. As Claire knew she was surrounded and that there could be a whole pack of possibly five or six Dilophosaurs. And the chittering and squawking continues filling the air as pants looking to her right.
Then growling was heard as Claire looked ahead as a tear dropped and she was then even more terrified as she cowers down in fear whimpering as a Dilophosaurus stood in front and over her as it hissed with an intimidating look to match that of a cobra's as Claire continues whimpering.
Then like a spitting cobra, the Dilophosaurus' frills pops open like a Frilled Lizard's as it loudly hisses a roar as Claire screamed.
But before it could do anything, a green lasso-like object suddenly shoots from nowhere looping the Dilophosaur's jaws as then a hand grasped it's throat catching the dinosaur by surprise as it whimpered and chokes with muffled grunts as Owen held a firm grip as venom spills from it's mouth. Claire gasped as then Kayla jabs her taser on the dinosaur's head as it squealed and the green lasso pulls back and Owen released the dinosaur.
"Go on. Get!" Owen yelled.
The overwhelmed Dilophosaurus quickly rushes off into the brush as a green light flashed.
"Whoa, Chameleon Tongue Power rules!" Chris said after deactivating his Chameleon Power Suit.
Kayla removes her left glove and sniffs as it had some venom on it.
"Yuck." she said and drops it as the Wild Kratts appeared.
Claire gasped and hugs Owen.
"Hey." Owen said.
"Oh, my God." Claire said gasped. "I thought you were dead."
"What do they even eat?" Kayla asked removing her right glove.
"You would not believe what we went through." Martin said. "We had a close call with a swimming Pyroraptor, and then Wrecksy and..."
Then a faint distant roar of a large dinosaur echoes through the forest as they turn to the direction of it.
"Gigas?" Jimmy nervously trembled.
"Yep." Koki nodded.
"We better get inside." Owen said.
"Thought you never ask." Aviva said.
Back in the facility, Lewis and two members in coveralls head through the hall of the restricted level as they got to the greenhouse holding the locusts as they were still stirring all around chittering.
Lewis stares at the locusts and turns to a member briefly as he intends to make sure nothing is nothing traced back.
"Go ahead." Lewis said.
The member then turns a key and flips a switch as nozzles turn on spewing gas, and the member flips more switches and pushed a button as the gas ignites spewing fire lighting up the wheat patches and locusts as well.
Lewis watches as the nozzles continue torching the wheat as the other locusts were caught fire as many flew around and thumping as they hit the glass wall as their protective armor was enough to keep them from being roasted alive. And soon, Lewis turns and heads off as he enters an elevator and snacks on something as the doors closed.
"Containment chamber compromised." An automatic voice ranged.
The locusts continued flying around as then glass was heard shattering as one member watches in her horror behind her mask as the swarm flew up through a damaged vent through the ceiling.
And it wasn't long before the flaming locust swarm burst out through the roof and flies off chittering and buzzing and beginning to cause havoc like a cloud of fire.
"It's locked." Kayla said on the tower's walkway. "Gonna need something heavy, something sharp, or both."
She then looks as wings were heard fluttering rapidly as Owen, Claire and the Wild Kratts stared at the air seeing the swarm of flaming locusts flying by like a rain of fire.
"That... can't be right." Kayla said.
"Are those locusts?" Koki stared.
The locust firestorm flies over the valley as some fell down into a river a Parasaurolophus yelped and other dinosaurs like Iguanodon and Triceratops watched. And they soon begin to flee.
Elsewhere in the forest, Gigas lumbers as he watches some locusts drop by him as one hits his face and roars.
In the Gladiator meanwhile, Alan, Ian, Ellie, and Maisie were still driving as they soon saw the firestorm of locusts.
"Is that..." Ellie stared.
"Oh, no." Alan said.
"Oh, my God." Ellie said as they all looked up through the sunroof. "He's burning the evidence."
The firestorm of locusts continues as then one flaming locusts drops onto the sunroof.
"Oh, my God. Oh, my God!" Ellie cried. "Oh, my... Ew!"
"That's bananas." Ian said.
The Gladiator drives through the forest as the roasting locusts continues raining down like hail and one lands on the hood as they continued speeding off. And then Ian swerves a hard right as they then hit the side of a steep hill as grunted and groaned holding on as the Gladiator creaks tipping over and lands on the side.
Everyone inside kept dead still as Ellie shudderingly breathes.
"Oh, my God." She gasped softly.
"I-I-I know this may seem precarious, but... No, we're-we're teetering." Ian said.
The Gladiator stone still on the ledge as it creaks.
"Shouldn't we all lead to the left or something?" Maisie asked trying to stay calm.
"That's a very constructive- Thank you, Maisie." Ian said positively.
"Yeah." Ellie said and they carefully lean left. "Slow. Slow. Slow."
Soon the Gladiator was upright ahead.
"Yay." Ian said as Ellie gasped. "We're fine. See this?"
"Mm-hmm." Ellie nodded.
"This is fine." Ian said calmly.
"Mm-hmm." Ellie nodded.
But then it was short-lived as then suddenly the Gladiator tips over the edge and rolls as it tumbles down the hillside as everyone inside screamed. Items on the Gladiator's back flew off as it continues rolling down the hillside as their screaming continues. And then the Gladiator finally reaches flatter ground and comes to a halt landing on it's back as they all gasped and Ellie whimpering.
"Alan?" Ellie cried. "Alan!"
Alan then groaned.
"How is everybody?" Ian asked.
Ellie whimpered as Alan groaned and Maisie whimpered.
"What in the Creature World?" A voice said bewildered.
Maisie then looks outside, though her vision was blurry she did see eight figures standing close by just a few yards away. Maisie stared as her vision slowly clears up as she saw Owen, Claire, Kayla, and the Wild Kratts.
She then gasped as turns to Alan, Ian, and Ellie as she never thought she would be happy to see them.
"It's my parents." Maisie said and turns back to the group outside. "HELP!" She pounds on the sunroof.
Outside, though perplex of seeing a Gladiator crash in front of them, they did hear someone yelling inside.
"Help!" Maisie yelled from inside.
"Listen." Claire said recognizing the voice.
"Help!" Maisie's voice yelled sobbing
"Is that...?" Martin said.
They then rushed over the Gladiator.
"Oh, God." Claire said.
Maisie manages to crawl through out from a window and they rushed over to her.
"Oh, my God." Claire sobbed relieved hugging her and Owen joins them. "You're okay. You're okay."
"You came to get me." Maisie said. "You actually... You came to get you."
"Yeah." Owen said.
"Of course we did, sweetheart." Claire told her.
"We wouldn't we?" Aviva said.
"Heya, kid." Owen said.
"Of course." Claire said.
Maisie then noticed Kayla and recognized her back in Malta. "I remember you."
"Remember you, too." Kayla said.
"Hey, wait a minute." Martin said realizing something. "Maisie, you can't even drive just yet. Who was with you?"
Owen then turns to the Gladiator as Ellie, Alan, and Ian joins them after climbing out.
"Martin, you see what?" Chris said stunned.
"Doctors Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Ian Malcom?" Martin said.
"You mean the group who escaped Jurassic Park all those years ago?" Aviva said bewildered.
"They helped me escaped." Maisie said.
"Yeah?" Claire said quietly knowing who they were.
Alan, Ian, and Ellie remained silent as she turns to Alan and nods.
"You okay?" Owen asked Alan noticed the cut on his forehead he got from the tumble downhill.
Alan sighs as Claire went up to Ellie.
"Thank you." Claire said.
"Yeah." Ellie nodded.
"We gotta go." Kayla said. "Gonna have to break a window to get inside that thing."
Ian turns to the outpost tower and Kayla turns back to them.
"Hope nobody is afraid of heights." Kayla said.
Suddenly the ground vibrated from heavy footsteps as if something big was approaching as Ellie gasped turning to the direction in the forest.
"Uh... Anyone else feel that?" Aviva nervously asked.
Everyone was aware that something big was coming as the thumping grew and a dinosaur was heard lowly growling.
"Don't move." Alan, Owen, and Martin said at the same time.
Branches were heard snapping, and then approaching from the treeline was Gigas the Giganotosaurus as he steps out from the trees and his massive right foot land on the ground with a heavy thud. And he growls snapping at a flaming locust flying by, and turns to another growling, and then he snatches the insect in his jaws. And then crunches it as he tossed it down his mouth swallowing it and turns to the group.
Everyone remained fearfully still as they stare at him.
"What is that?" Ellie asked.
"Giganotosaurus." Alan said.
Gigas then made a low growl giving them chills.
"Biggest carnivore the world has ever seen." Alan said.
"Bigger, why do they always have to go bigger?" Ian questioned.
Gigas stares down at them.
"M-Maybe if we stand... perfectly still..." Jimmy nervously said.
Then Gigas lets out a loud bellowing roar as they all then backed away and then quickly hid behind the Gladiator. The Giganotosaurus then menacingly stalks towards them and roars as they begin to slip by the Gladiator as if they were in a deadly game of cat and mouse.
"Maisie, Maisie." Claire whispered. "Look at me. Look at me."
"Oh." Jimmy quietly trembled in fear.
Gigas growled as he lowers down and peeked through the window seeing his knife-like teeth as he growls out. And his head lifts up Kayla manages to grab a taser stick inside as the Giganotosaur's foot lands on the ground. Gigas stalks be the Gladiator as he nears the back the of the vehicle, and they moved back as Gigas turns to them.
"Go." Kayla said softly.
The Giganotosaurus roars out as they quickly backed away though Ian and Jimmy crawls into the Gladiator just as Gigas steps forward and his left foot right where they were a moment ago as they took the relatively safety inside of the Gladiator.
Gigas growled as everyone else quickly took off running to the outpost.
"Go, go!" Chris yelled.
Kayla was the first to make it to the ladder and quickly climbs up as Maisie quickly got to it.
"Go, go, go, go!" Owen said as she climbs up.
"Come on!" Kayla yelled already at the top.
Gigas continues roaring as they turn to him, and then he charges towards as she got to a metal railing surrounding the ladder.
"Maisie, look out!" Martin yelled.
Then Gigas bites down on the railing on both sides as Maisie screamed as the bars were able to stop Gigas from biting through.
"No! No, no, no." Claire cried.
Maisie whimpered as the ravenous Giganotosaur bites down harder applying his 6,000-pound jaw strength as he slowly crushes them.
"Hustle!" Kayla yelled.
"I'm gonna die!" Maisie cried seeming to be paralyze by fear
"Climb! Climb, kid!" Owen said holding Claire back.
"No!" Claire cried.
"You're not." Kayla said trying to assure her. "No you're not. You're okay."
Maisie then screams and then Gigas rips the railing off from the ladder as Maisie quickly climbs up to Kayla. Gigas tries to shake the railing out from his mouth, and then crushes it in his jaws and tossed it aside as Ellie quickly climbs up. The Giganotosaurus turns back to them as Owen heads up.
"Go, go, go, go, go, go." Claire said quickly as they hurried.
Gigas then makes his approach as they scurried across the walkway to the door as the Giganotosaur rears up to their level as they froze. And Gigas inches towards them and roars out.
"Um, nice, uh... teeth." Chris nervously said. "Huh, interesting. They're more blade-like in shape looking like a steak knife." He noted the teeth structure. "Those teeth are serious slicers and dicers."
"Tell me how more interesting they are sinking into you." Martin said.
"Wait, where's Jimmy?!" Koki noticing he was missing. "I hope he's okay!"
Below, Ian jabs a long stick into a flaming dead locust as Jimmy was beside him.
"Come on." Ian said and then waves it out. "Hey."
"Over here you colossal fossil!" Jimmy yelled.
Gigas turns to them as Ian got ready.
"Oh, yeah." Ian said. "Come here."
Gigas stares them down as everyone else watched unsure what they were doing.
"Say "Ah"." Jimmy said.
Ian held the stick all ready as the Gigas rears back with his jaws open ready to strike. And then Ian grunts as he throws the stick like an Olympic Javelin as it flew into the Giganotosaur's mouth as he shrieks in pain as the back of his mouth catches fire.
"Bon appetit!" Jimmy saluted.
He then zips off to the ladder as Ian quickly follows as Gigas snaps at him barely missing him and then roars out unleashing burst of flames from his mouth like a dragon.
On the walkway, Kayla, Maisie, and Claire quickly hurried to the door.
"Go, go, go." Claire said as Kayla held a crowbar.
"Help me open it." Kayla said prying the door. "Help me out."
Ian quickly climbs up the ladder as Jimmy was already up and ahead, and then Ian slipped and yelped a scream as Alan quickly caught his hand as he turns to him.
"I got ya." Alan said as the Giganotosaurus roared.
Meanwhile, Kayla, Claire, and Maisie finally pry the door loose and got it open.
"Go, go, go." Kayla said rushing inside.
"Everyone inside!" Aviva yelled.
Owen, Ellie, and Chris, helped Alan and Ian by the ladder chute.
"Go, go, go, go, go!" Ellie yelled.
Claire got to the doorway as Ian and Alan hurries over.
"Run!" She said.
Gigas approaches the walkway growling as they hurried inside, but then the relentless Giganotosaurus bites down on the railing as Owen, Chris and Ellie fell as he pulls trying to rip the walkway off as they held on as Ellie screamed as Owen held onto her hand. They quickly managed to get to their feet as Gigas begins to pull the walkway from the door as it creaked and they got up and leaped to the doorway at the last second as the walkway outside hits the ground and Ellie gasped joining by Alan and they panted.
"See? Not so bad." Owen said not noticing Gigas raising up behind him.
"That was close." Chris said relieved.
Maisie fearfully watches Gigas.
"Uh... too soon right now." Martin pointing to the window.
"Huh?" Chris blinked.
Then Gigas violently plows his head through the windows as Owen and Chris leaped back turning to him as they all screamed as the glass shattered and flew everywhere as Gigas bellows and Claire screamed getting to Owen as everyone was terrified.
"Come on." Owen said as they rushed off.
Then suddenly Claire's foot got caught an a computer wire from Gigas getting his teeth caught on them as she yells as she hits the floor, and then he pulls her back towards him.
"Claire!" Owen cried.
Owen quickly got to her and moves her aside just as Gigas lunges and snaps his jaws missing them. Claire grunts as Kayla turns and heads off as Claire groans as Owen tries to get her foot loose from the wiring as the voracious Giganotosaurus growled. Then Kayla came back with a tranquilizer rifle s she cocks it and fires at the dart struck the predator in the face as he shrieks in pain.
Maisie then grabs Kayla's taser as Owen finally cuts the wire freeing Claire with his knife, and then Maisie slides the taser to Claire as Owen grunts jabbing his knife repeatedly at Gigas' face. And Claire crawls over and then jabs the taser at Giganotosaur's eye as it crackled and he roars in pain as his head reels back.
Owen and Claire crawled as Alan helped her back as Gigas roars out in pain defeatedly and then turns and leaves at everyone was left all relieved.
Author's Note:
And now, both generations have met and untied.
Last night, I saw the Disney short, Once Upon a Studio, and it was very well worth it. Seeing some of my favorite characters, and many characters of the old and new generation meeting one another was quite something. Olaf and Genie meeting each other was one of my favorite moments, and I found it funny when Prince Charming lost his shoe like how Cinderella did, and make it more funny was when Max took it and runs off with it as Charming chased after it.
And that moment of Mickey seeing Walt Disney's picture, made me feel like that Mickey wished that he can see how much work and legacy has accomplished. That scene was my favorite in the whole short, and tied with seeing Aladar again.
A little sad that the Carnotaur didn't appear, if he was, I would've found it funny if he scared Scuttle for interrupting Ariel when she was singing.
And I loved how they came together and fixed the camera and the group shot for their 100th anniversary.
Thank you to Walt Disney who made all of it possible, from everything with starting with just one mouse, leading to something big. As I once heard, "Some things start out big, and some things start out small, very small. But sometimes the smallest thing... can make the biggest changes of all".
And you know I said was I puzzled of how a Sauropod dinosaur is now found walking with a diagonal gait like how Prehistoric Planet 2 showed with the Isisaurus, Nemgetosaurs, Mongolian Titanosaurs, Rapetosaurus, and Alamosaurus? Well, a couple days ago I found something that seems to make a lot more sense now.
An internet article I found and read said that if Sauropods did try to walk using a lateral gait like how an elephant does it, it would put a lot of swaying on the body and make it unstable and would cause immense stress on the muscles and bones.
I guess that might be the same case with Hippos. Since they're the closest thing to how Sauropods now walk. I'm just surprised that a diagonal gait can work on animal that weighs probably 70 times more heavier than a Hippo.
I wonder how animators over the years before that discovery manage to keep their walking Sauropods from swaying so much?
And last thing, I might be planning something by the end of the week for of all us Disney fans.
