30. Final Author's Note

Ninjago: Journey's Wings is a sequel to my very first fanfiction Ninjago: The Journey Continues which followed the story of the spinjitzu masters and some newfound friends after the series ended in 2012. Blaire, Amari, Rachel, Megan, Lexis, and even Sensei Wyn were all ocs created for a continuation of my favorite series as a kid. Truth be told, the reason the story never got finished all those years ago was simply because I ran out of ideas and lost the pace of the story I didn't have an ending for. While Ninjago has drastically changed since I first started watching, I never forgot about my stories and the world that I created for myself. I wanted to find a way to get back into what I used to be passionate about without letting other things stand in my way, and my first step was continuing the story that I abandoned in 2015. I started back on the project in 2021 jotting down any ideas I had and working around them to create new chapters that followed the plot of the story. By 2023, I had proofread and edited enough to be ready to start uploading again and just a few days ago I closed out on my last chapter. I definitely made younger me proud by giving our story the proper send-off it deserves.

I want to thank everyone that's stuck around and finished the story with me. I know it's been a long time and most people that were originally around to read the story when it first aired have been long gone and forgotten, but I never forgot about the story that I was extremely passionate about just a few years ago.

It's been an amazing exercise for me to get back into writing and to finish off old projects that I never got around to giving an appropriate ending to.

The way that I felt about the fan fictions that I created was really a good way for me to get my mind off of day to day life and to give my favorite stories, the kind of continuation that I would have wanted to see for them.

This definitely isn't the last that anyone's going to hear of me, and I hope to see everyone who has supported this story again in the future.
