Saturday 16th April, 1920
Rose woke up the following morning to the smell of bacon and the sound of Sophia beginning to stir. She rubbed her eyes and stretched before getting out of bed. "Good morning baby" she smiled at her daughter as she lifted her up and kissed her head. "Come on, let's go downstairs" she said as she got up and headed downstairs.
She walked in to the kitchen and smiled at Jack "good morning" she said, not seeing Tilly at the table "hey" he smiled in response "hi Mummy" Tilly grinned "oh hello missy!" Rose smiled and walked over to her before kissing her head "how are you feeling?" She asked, feeling her daughters forehead "better" she nodded "can we go to the park today?" She continued. "Yes sweetheart" Rose nodded "can you come to, Jack?" Tilly asked "yes sweetheart" he smiled as he put some pancakes and bacon in the middle of the table for them to help themselves to.

James woke up early and decided to head out to look for any sign of Rose. As he was leaving, he bumped in to Mary, forcing a smile to portray a 'Mr nice guy' act, he said good morning.
—
Once they were all ready, Jack, Rose, Tilly and Sophia headed to the park. Jack could tell that Rose was still a bit anxious being out the house so rubbed her back. "It's alright… I'm here, I won't let anything happen to any of you" he said and quickly kissed her temple, noticing that Tilly wasn't looking.
—
They arrived at the park and Jack and Rose sat on the bench, watching as Tilly ran round going to and from all the different things in the park. They talked amongst themselves, Rose not taking her eyes off Tilly for a second, before noticing a man on the other side of the fencing. "Jack, I think that man's watching Tilly" she said nervously. Jack look over at Tilly and then the man. "I'll go and get her, I don't want to shout her name, just in case" he said as he rushed over to Tilly. "Sweetheart, I'm sorry, but we need to go home now" he said as he bent down to her level "but we've only just got here?" she said, confused. "I know sweetheart, but it's important. Come on, I'll give you a shoulder ride. Don't talk or say your name until we get back in the house, OK?" He said seriously "OK…" Tilly said confused and held her arms out to him. He lifted her up and put her on his shoulders before quickly walking over to Rose. "I've told her not to speak until we're home" Jack said, getting a nod from Rose is response "good girl darling. Come on, let's get home, quickly…" Rose said in a frightened tone. Jack nodded and they headed home.
—
Once they arrived home, Jack locked all the doors and shut the curtains. "Can I talk now?" Tilly whispered as Jack put her down, making Rose smile a little "yes sweetheart, good girl for listening to Jack" Rose nodded "why wasn't I allowed to speak?" Tilly asked confused "oh, it was just a game, and you won!" Rose lied.
—
Once the girls were in bed Rose went downstairs and curled in to Jack's side as he kissed her head. "This isn't going to work, is it?" She asked, afraid of the answer. "What?" He asked, confused. "I can't run and hide forever. I'm putting you at risk, Jack" she said "I don't care. I'm here to protect you and the girls, I don't care if I'm at risk. You 3 are what matters" he said firmly. She gave him a weak smile "thank you…"
