A winters night – Mirabel x Miguel
AN: Hello my lovelies and welcome back to another one shot this time this is a winter date between Mirabel and Miguel would be absolutely adorable especially since Miguel is So persistent on getting Mirabel to stay over. Another thing it is winter where I live and it is freezing.
As Disclaimer : This has the song baby it's cold outside by Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé I was so inspired.I do not own the song I just thought it was very cute and this song suits them so much also there is some lyrics changed to fit the context.

Miguel and Mirabel were nice and warm by the fire sharing and enjoying stories and each other's company, Miguel looked into Maribel 's eyes wondering how he got so lucky just wanting to keep her to himself even for just the night. Just then Mirabel looked at the clock and realised that she had better get home before dinner otherwise her Mamá would kill her.
"I hate to cut it short Mi Amor but I have to get home to dinner otherwise Mamá would kill me". Mirabel stated
"Really?" Miguel coaxed his head
"Si". She nodded
"Why can't you stay the night darling that's all I ask". Miguel whined
"I wish I could but you know my family my love they are going to be asking questions and I mean a LOT of questions, especially My Tio Bruno and sisters and you know how they are". Mirabel explains
"You know you could send them a note then we can spend the rest of the night just the two of us". Miguel said whilst starting to press kisses against Mira's neck.
Mirabel tried NOT to give in but it was impossible she was trying to bit her lip to keep from moaning and screaming. She then pushed him away and started picking up her things and heading for the door.
"As Tempting as it is Musico I'd prefer not to face the wrath of my family, as much as I'd love too". She smiled
"You know it'll take you ages to get back plus the door is outside and it's freezing ". Miguel smiled
"Your just making excuses so I can stay with you aren't you?" She put a hand on her hip
"Is it working?" Miguel asked
"Not a chance". Mirabel laughed
Miguel walked up and spun Mirabel around to prevent her from leaving and she laughed and so did he.
Mirabel:
"I really can't stay".
Miguel:
"Amor it's cold outside ".
Mirabel:
"I got to go away ".
Miguel:
"Amor it's cold outside".
Mirabel:
"This evening has been…"
Miguel :
" I am Hoping that you dropped in".
Mirabel:
"So very nice".
Miguel:
"I'll hold your hands their just like ice ".
Miguel held her hands and she blushed like crazy and smiled then rolled her eyes.
Mirabel:
"Mi Mamá will start to worry ".
Miguel:
"Beautiful what's your hurry ".
Miguel then blocked the door to stop Mira from going anywhere and then directed her towards the fireplace.
Mirabel:
"Mi Papá will be pacing the floor".
Miguel:
"Listen to that fireplace roar".
Miguel gestured towards the burning embers of the flames of the fireplace all warm and cozy.
Mirabel:
"So really I'd better scurry".
Miguel:
"Beautiful please don't hurry".
Miguel then spun her close to him and lightly pecked her lips, Mirabel tried to lessen his grip but was unsuccessful he was stuck to her like glue.
Mirabel:
"Well Maybe Just hot choclate more".
Miguel:
"I'll put some music on while I pour".
Mirabel:
"Our families might think".
Miguel :
"Darling it's bad out there".
Mirabel:
"Say what's in this drink".
Miguel:
"No walks to be had out there".
Mirabel:
I wish I knew how …"
Miguel:
"Your eyes are like starlights now".
Mirabel:
"To break your spell".
Mirabel Then did a little tap on his nose and then went to grab her coat and put back on as well as tie her hair up so it wasn't a mess, but Miguel gently pulled her back spin get her whilst taking her coat off.
Miguel:
"I'll take that pin your hair looks swell".
("Why thank you")
Mirabel:
"I ought to say No, No, No señor ".
Miguel:
"Mind if I move in closer".
Mirabel was almost left breathless by how close they were standing and Miguel cheekily smiled and looked her in the eyes and Mirabel just shook her head and gently pushed him away.
Mirabel:
"At least I'm going to say that I tried".
Miguel:
"What's the sense hurting my pride".
Mirabel:
" I really can't stay"
Miguel:
"Darling don't hold out".
Both:
"Amor it's cold outside ".
Mirabel:
"Ah, your very pushy you know".
Miguel:
"I'd like to think of it is as opportunistic".
Mirabel :
"I simply must go".
Miguel gently grabbed her hand and spun her into him, Mirabel smiled and rolled her eyes but hen pushed him away gently and reached for the door.
Miguel:
"But Amor it's cold outside ".
He lifted Mirabel up and put her down on the couch and Mirabel smiled and shook her head and laughed.
Mirabel:
"The Answer is : No".
Miguel:
"But Amor it's cold outside ".
("Come on ")
Mirabel:
"The welcome has been so nice and warm ".
Miguel:
"Look out the window at that storm".
Miguel then smiled and gestured to the window where it was pouring rain outside.
Mirabel:
"Mi Hermana's will be suspicious ".
Miguel:
"Gosh your lips look delicious ".
Mirabel:
"Mi Tio will be there at the door".
Miguel:
"Waves upon a tropical shore".
Mirabel:
"Mi Prima 's Mind is vicious ".
Miguel:
"Gosh your lips are delicious ".
Miguel then inched closer and looked deep into his Novia's eyes they were like stars and he wouldn't change it for the world.
Mirabel:
"But maybe just a cigarette more".
("And nethier of us smoke.")
Miguel:
"Never such a blizzard before ".
Mirabel then got from the couch and started heading towards the door and smiled back at Miguel.
Mirabel:
"I got to get home".
Miguel then stepped close and got her gloves and she rolled her eyes and smirked she had extra set in her coat pocket.
Miguel touched Mira's ice cold and tried warming them up with his own.
Miguel:
"I feel when I touch your hand".
Mirabel:
"But don't you see ".
Miguel:
"How can you do this thing to me".
Miguel looked at Mira with sad and desperate puppy dog eyes that he picked up (from His Papá Hèctor presumably.) Begging her not leave just yet.
Mirabel:
"There's bound talk tomorrow ".
Miguel:
"Think of my life long sorrow".
Mirabel:
"At least there will be plenty implied".
Miguel:
"If you got pneumonia and died".
Mirabel:
"I really can't stay".
Mirabel:
"Darling don't hold out".
Both:
"Amor, Amor it's cold outside ".
Mirabel:
"Okay fine just another song then".
Miguel:
"That took a lot of convincing."
Mirabel took her gloves and coat off and sat down on the couch next to her Muisco and smiled up at him and he smiled back .
"Happy now Migue?" She asked
"With you I am always happy Amor always and forever". Miguel whispered
They spent the next couple of minutes cuddling by the fireplace on the couch Mirabel didn't care if she was late for dinner right now she just wanted to spend time with the love of her life and Miguel he was happy he convinced her to stay they were each other's world forever and always.
