Chapter 54 The Seeds of Doom

At the forest many pods crashed down on to it and they were letting out smoke from the friction.
They started to shake showing something was inside of them, inside was something very dangerous that will cause the doom to all.
Nearby Reiji was checking the forest and looks around.
"Okay, better check for anything strange." He said.
He was looking out in case something bad might happen since he was near the school.
Reiji then saw Flora. "Flora?"
She looks. "Oh hey Reiji."
"What are you doing here?" He asked.
"I came to check for anything new in the plant life." She said.
"I see." He said.
Flora then notices something. "Wait, the plants feel... Scared."
"Scared?" He said.
They went foward and noticed the pods on the ground.
"Where did these things come from?" Reiji said.
"I don't know, but they don't feel magical at all." She was worried.
They opened up revealing parasite like plants as they attacked the trees.
"No!" Flora said.
The plant around around that place mutated and becomes a giant monster as it roars, this was a Krynoid.
"What is this thing?!" Reiji backs away with Flora.
"I don't know, but it's taking over all of that plants it touches." She said.
Reiji looks back to see where the school is. "We must stop it before it comes close to the school and take over all plant life!"
"Yes, Winx!" Flora then transforms and gets ready.
Reiji also puts on his belt and uses his watch.
ZI-O!
He inserted it. "Henshin!"
RIDER TIME! KAMEN RIDER ZI-O!
He transforms and shoots at the creature with his gun making it grunt and swings it's vines at him making Zi-O dodge them.
Flora makes the plants to block it's attacks using roots but the creature absorbs it.
"No Flora, you must try to control it not use your powers against it." Zi-O said.
"But I don't know if I can." She said.
Zi-O changes his weapon's mode.
KEN!
He slashes at the beast making it grunt and tries to bite on him but he avoids it.
"We gotta try take a chance, if not then it will end badly." He told her.
The Krynoid then hits him as he rolls to the ground because he got distracted making him grunt.
Flora sees the monster try to eat Zi-O. "Reiji!"
She focused on her powers making the creature stop as it struggles.
"It worked!" He got happy for her.
"I'm trying to hold it back." She struggles too.
Zi-O takes out Ryuki.
RYUKI!
He inserted and spins the driver.
RIDER TIME! KAMEN RIDER ZI-O! ARMOR TIME! (ELECTRONIC BEAT MIXED WITH V BUCKLE-ESQUE MUSIC) ADVENT! RYUKI!
He changes into the armor and he shoots fire at the plant making it roar in pain.
"I'll just have to burn it into ash." Zi-O said.
The creature breaks free making Flora fall down grunting.
It swings it's vines that have spikes as Zi-O dodges them. "Whoa!"
They stabbed the ground many times as it goes foward devouring many of the plant life around it.
Flora was scared as she can feel the pain of the other plants making her hold her head as they screamed being taken over by that monster.
Zi-O holds her. "Flora, please calm down."
"I just, can't imagine a creature like that could exist." She said.
"Hang in there, we can stop it together." He said.
The monster goes foward and tries to attack them before he summons Dragreder to attack the plant as it makes fireballs rain down against it.
The Krynoid screeches in pain as it's body started to get caught in fire.
It then screeches summoning many more vines to hit anything that it could making the trio avoid it's attacks and Zi-O kept putting some pressure as it rooted it self on to the ground as if it wants to spread.
If this thing keeps getting stronger not even I can beat it alone. He thinks to himself.
He can tell this thing was absorbing the magic from the planet using the plants around it so it's a real threat.
"Focus." Flora closes her eyes as she raises her hands up.
The krynoid goes to attack but then it got stopped making it grunt as it tries to fight back against Flora's control.
"I won't..." Flora grunts. "I won't let you harm any other plant in this world you monster!"
Zi-O then activates the finisger.
FINISH TIME! RYUKI!
He spins the driver.
FINAL TIME BREAK!
He jumps up as the dragon shoots fire and he rider kicks the Krynoid going through it.
It screeches as it was consumed by fire making it's vines fall down before it gives out a final cry and falls to the ground.
Flora falls down to the ground and watches the creature burn.
"Flora." Zi-O goes to her side.
"It's over." She said.
"I'm sorry that you had to go through that." He said.
"No, you really needed my help, in fact i'm happy that we managed to save all the plants." She smiles.
Zi-O nodded at her and he was happy that she's strong enough to fight over this event.
He looks at the burning remains too of the plant monster. Where did this thing come from?
He looks up to the sky. Was it from space?
There exists other life in different worlds in the many shows he has seen, so he wonders if this thing could have been a alien, since the pods and plants reminded him of a old movie he watched a long time ago about pod people.
"Well let's go." He helps her up.
The two went back to the school and Flora was just happy they managed to save the forest and school from this monster.
I just hope we don't have to face another thing like it ever again. She thinks to herself.
Note: Heres the Halloween chapter being about a Krynoid from Doctor Who, which caused problems being in a forest as it was just taking over all the plant life and Flora had to subdue it to let Zi-O finish it off.
