Twisted Love
After a while, Rukia woke up inside a room filled with riches that any assassin could ever dream of possessing. The opulence of the room was breathtaking. She also noticed that she was wearing an elegant kimono, its intricate design a stark contrast to her previous attire. Around her neck, she found a red collar, which she suspected to be a tracking device or even a bomb.
Although she had initially expected to be tortured, she decided against attempting an escape, realizing that it would be futile. The presence of the elite assassins sent chills down her spine, and she knew she was completely outmatched.
Not long after, she was ushered into the dining room, where she saw her client sitting beside her intended target.
"What do you think of your bride, Byakuya?" the elder Kuchiki asked.
Byakuya remained silent, his gaze fixed on Rukia, who stood by the door.
Rukia felt her heart leap into her throat as she met Byakuya's cold, gray eyes, which seemed to pierce her very soul. But she refused to look away.
"Acceptable," Byakuya suddenly said, breaking the silence.
