Dean jumped up and down on the spot to keep warm. He was about to enter the ring in a few minutes. His eyes were looking at the couple further down the hall. Seth and Jaya. He didn't care much about Seth but Jaya was interesting. The youngest McMahon after one of Vince's many affairs. She looked nothing like Stephanie and Shane with her wavy, soft red hair and dark green eyes.
"Dean, you're up next," someone said.
Dean watched as Seth leaned down to kiss Jaya's cheek before walking away. Jaya looked up at Dean and he blew her a kiss in the air followed by a grin before turning around to enter to his music. One look from the green eyed beauty was all it took for him to feel warm inside and be ready to fight. He couldn't look bad inside the ring. Not when he knew she was watching. She had no idea the effect she had on him but he always fought harder and better when he felt like he had to impress her somehow.
He came out on top as scripted. He had made it look like an easy fight. She was gone when he made it backstage again. He knew that would be the case. She never waited around to talk to him. It was okay. He knew she had watched and that was all that mattered to him. She was a fantasy that wasn't allowed to become a reality.
He showered and changed, grabbed his things, and went out to his car. He drove to the next town over and parked at the hotel he had booked. He walked inside the lobby and was surprised to find Jaya there. She had apparently left early too.
"What do you mean you can't give me my room key?" Jaya asked.
"I'm sorry, ma'am," the guy behind the counter said. "The room is in Seth Rollins' name. Your name is not on the reservation. I can't give out the key to anyone but him."
"Great! Just fucking great!" Jaya growled.
She turned around and locked eyes with Dean.
"What the fuck are you smiling at?" She asked.
"You're cute when you're angry," he said.
"How about I rip one of your testicles off and see if you still find me cute?" She asked.
"I think that might kill the crush I have on you," he laughed. "Wait here."
"Where the fuck else am I gonna go?" She asked.
He loved that she swore like a sailor when she was angry. He knew she often played the good daughter around most people but she let her guards down around him. He walked up to the counter and checked in. He turned around and showed her his room key.
"Wanna wait in my room until Seth arrives?" He asked.
"Fine," she said. "But only because they already closed the restaurant."
"Sure. That's the only reason," he chuckled.
They stepped inside the elevator and rode one floor up. He unlocked the door to his room and they both walked inside. They dropped their bags and got out of their shoes and jackets.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
She turned around to say something but the look in her eyes changed from hard to soft.
"Define okay," she said.
He didn't like to hear that. He sat down on the bed and patted the spot next to him.
"Tell your old buddy Dean all about it," he said.
"If you're old, then I'm old too. We're the same age," she said.
"We are?" He asked.
"We're even born on the same day," she said.
"I didn't know you kept an eye on my life story," he said.
"Wikipedia," she shrugged. "It's not like your birthday is a big secret."
She sat down next to him and sighed.
"Sometimes it's just hard, you know," she said.
"I know," he said.
"Am I okay? I guess. Most times. But we all have those days and those thoughts," she said.
"What thoughts?" He asked.
"Why am I doing this? Do I want to be here?" She asked.
"Jaya," he said lowly.
He took her hand and gave it a firm squeeze.
"Oh no, not like that. Sorry. I didn't mean not wanting to live. I meant the family business," she said.
"Thank fuck," he said.
"I didn't mean to scare you," she said.
"It's okay," he said. "What about you and Seth?"
"What about us?" She asked.
"Are things as they're supposed to be?" He asked.
"I guess," she shrugged. "My father is happy and so is Seth."
"But are you happy?" He asked.
"As long as I don't pick any fights, things aren't that bad. I manage. I could do a lot worse," she said.
"You could also do a lot better," he said.
She stared at him without saying anything. He always had a feeling Vince had been the one picking Seth and making Jaya date him. Despite not saying it directly, he knew he was right. He could see it in her eyes and hear it in the words she spoke even though she didn't say it directly.
"You have to be happy with your own life, Jaya," he said. "Your happiness matters too. You matter. If Seth doesn't make you happy, find someone who does. You deserve to be happy."
She leaned in and kissed him. The forbidden fantasy suddenly became real. She placed a hand on his cheek while kissing him softly but passionately. She broke the kiss and pulled back to look him in the eyes. The look on her face changed again and she quickly stood up.
"I'm so sorry, Dean. I shouldn't have done that," she said.
He grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him. She stumbled over him and he threw himself backwards with her on top of him. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her again. He rolled them around so she was underneath. He pushed her t-shirt up her stomach and moved himself down to kiss it. He stopped by her jeans and looked up at her.
"Do you...?" He started.
"Please!" She cut him off. "I want you, Dean."
He opened her jeans and pulled them off her along with her panties. He placed himself between her legs and went all in with his tongue. He didn't care about wrestling, Seth, Vince or anything else in the world in that moment. All that mattered was her. If this was the only time he would ever get a taste of the forbidden fruit, he would make damn sure she remembered it for the rest of her life.
