Xemnas was in Twilight town, looking over it as he stood on the roof of a building.
As he watched the townspeople walk in the town, he couldn't help but think how foolish they were just to walk around with nothing to worry about.
Then that was when something caught his eye, a girl was running from a heartless, or rather a few of them which were some of the less powerful ones.
He had to admit he was curious as to why the girl was by herself, not with family, friends or a mate.
So he put his hand up to create a dark corridor, to appear into the alley way she had retreated to. She was surrounded by the heartless, she looked around with a frown.
But then something happened, something he did not appreciated.
A keyblade was in her hands, an oathkeeper.
He watched as she destroyed the heartless, no matter how exhausted she became, she kept destroying them.
This girl….was a keyblade wielder, a strong one.
He watched as she pant and a wrenching sob escaped her, despite how she tried not to cry.
Was the girl even aware that he was standing there?
Perhaps.
The girl suddenly looked up with awareness that someone else was there, she stepped back one step and summoned her keyblade once more, which is futile seeing how she was so weak from her little fight.
Now Xemnas stepped forward the girl, he knew it would be just some time before she would pass out from exhaustion and since he finally had a good look at her, also from her injuries.
The injuries seem quite severe; bruises and cuts covered each part of her body, some had burns on her arms and no doubt she had a broken hand.
The girl frowned at him, "Stay away."
Even her voice was all but a whisper. He should leave her be for dead or for the darkness. But something about this girl was drawing him in.
He said nothing to her words so she swung her keyblade to him, most likely thinking that he would leave her alone, but he grabbed it as he looked at her gently.
She was human, not a nobody had gotten out of his reach. He can see her pure light heart and the beat of it.
"Let it go!"
"Child, do you even know what this is?" he asked in his deep voice.
"Fuck off!" she shouted, her brown eyes flashed at him.
He frowned at her, it was a good thing that he did not have a heart otherwise he'd be heartbroken over her words.
If anything, he did not understand why he wished to help this child. But he knew he had to.
Perhaps she reminds him of someone from so long ago.
So he kept his grip on her keyblade, he could see she had a fever in her eyes so he waited but she refused to pass out. So he teleported to the otherside of her and hit her at the back of her head to make her pass out.
Xenmas picked her gently into his arms, looking at her face to see her not look so peaceful in her slumber.
He summoned a dark corridor and took her back to the Castle that Never Was, took her to Vexen seeing how he used to be a scientist.
"Take care of her, keep me informed of her progress."
"Of course, Lord Xemnas." Vexen said.
Xenmas went to the throne room to where he usually stayed, he closed his eyes thinking about where to produce the girl with the keyblade.
Not only did he have Roxas, Sora's Nobody under his thumb, now he has another keyblade wielder under his thumb.
But the question remained, who was this mystery girl and the powerful power he had sensed within her?
He heard someone come in and he opened his golden eyes to see Saix in his seat.
"I heard from Vexen about the girl, what do you wish to do with her?"
"I'm not sure as of yet, but if she will join our ranks it will be valuable to our plans."
"So for now we wait until she has awakened."
"That she will." he said.
"I see. Did you catch her name?"
Xemnas shook his head at the question, "Unfortunately not. But she will give her name once she sees that she is in a safe place."
It took three days for the girl to wake up in her peaceful slumber, Xemnas visited her everyday just to see if she would wake up.
Now that she was cleaner and her wounds have all nearly healed from what he found on her, he could see her face clearly now.
She had a child-like face and she looked to be so small, perhaps she was 11 or 12 years old, with dark hair that was down to her shoulders and full bottom lips..,
The girl was something else….
After that he left, all he could do was wait for this very special girl to wake up from her slumber in her own time.
