Quick note: Hello, everyone! I'm back. I watched the finale (with English subs—I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet so…)—and despite some certain flaws, I found it to be quite good; I even cried/teared up a bit. I also watched the movie, and again, certain faults, but very good, and even cried/teared up. But still, I decided to do my own remix, including some OCs. I hope you like it.
But first…
When we last caught up with Princess Lalla Aisha, she was starting to give the media a speech, discussing her plans.
"My goals for now while I'm here in Paris with my extended family and…" she looked to the comforting smiles of Marinette, Adrien, new friends, her Uncle Chi and his family before continuing with, "And my new friends, I plan on resuming my university studies here. I plan to attend Sandhurst in the UK for military training when I reach age. Before or after that, I…hope to travel and see parts of the world..."
She felt a huge weight lifted off her shoulders after that.
Even so, when it ended, she got a call from Ziddy, her brothers Ekon and Jabari, and their bodyguards, even Blessa—she even offered to help her however she could and visit from time to time while Aisha's in Paris; they secretly congratulated her and hope to help her achieve her goals.
Her mother was half-and-half on her being in Paris. While she's proud of taking some control, she reminds Aisha of her royal duties and responsibilities and couldn't just abandon them. Aisha assured her mother that she wasn't but rather putting them on hold and doing them her own way.
Her father still thought she was making a terrible mistake and would come to regret it one day.
That one day, whether her father liked it or not, Aisha will permanently return to her country when the time was right. One day, she will do whatever it took to make the necessary changes to allow her and any legitimate female heiress to take the throne, but this was her time now to do what she wanted.
Shadow Moth renamed himself Monarch after announcing to have almost all the Miraculouses. But it wasn't going to get her down. Ladybug and Cat Noir are going to take Monarch down and free Paris from his wrath.
Being here in Paris, Aisha had never felt this free in a long time. She's enjoying her university classes, tutoring the city, volunteering during her free time, being with her Uncle Chi and his family, and getting along with her new friends, especially Marinette and Adrien—much like everyone else, those two were really made for each other. They even made her an honorary member of their Resistance group with their goal of helping Ladybug and Cat Noir as much as they could.
Along with Zoé, Aisha even stood up for Marinette when Chloé falsely accused her of stealing various items for her to make her special dress for the end-of-the-school-year dance.
"Now, that's enough!" Aisha got everyone to pay attention to her. "All of you! Just stop it! Right now! Do you really believe that Marinette would do this to you all? After everything she's done for you. All the good she's done for you all. This is how you treat her? You repay her with this reprehensible act of trial and error and lose your truth in her that quickly? You're actually going to listen and take the word of the entitled, spoiled brat Chloé Bourgeois over the sweet, kind, and caring Marinette Dupain-Cheng?"
Chloé injected in. "Listen here, Princess of Nowhere..."
"For once in your sad life, just sit down and shut up, you twit," Aisha slapped away Chloé's hand when she touched her shoulder and pointed her finger at her face. "And never touch me. Ever." That made Chloé back off and stand away from her while Aisha faced everyone else again. "Honestly, this is absolutely insulting. Especially her own parents. You all should be ashamed of yourselves."
This got everyone, especially Mr. Dupain, Ms. Cheng, Mr. Damocles, and even Mayor Bourgeois, to hang their heads in shame and embarrassment.
After Ladybug and Cat Noir saved Sabrina from Monarch's control, Aisha had a few words to give Sabrina.
"I've been seeing how Chloé and Lila treat you, and that's not how friends treat friends. Now, is that something you really want?"
But even so, she couldn't help but sense something wasn't right.
And this was even after Marinette exposed Lila Rossi with Sabrina's help; even Aisha knew there was something that turned her off about Lila.
Aisha's first encounter with the liar was when she met up with Adrien after he completed a photo shoot with her, and she just injected herself into the conversation. Lila mentioned she filmed a few scenes in the country for one of the Hollywood films she claimed to have starred in. Aisha was hospitable to her and had to leave for something else.
The yoctosecond she was out of ear sight, she said to Adrien, "I don't believe her. Nor do I like her."
"Neither do I," said Adrien before he told her what she tried to do to Marinette.
Aisha became a lending ear to Marinette as she voiced her opinion about Lila.
"From what you're telling me, it sounds to me that this Lila Rossi wears many shadows and masks. She has the classic traits of a textbook psychopath and sociopath, along with being a pathological and consummate liar with malignant narcissism and antisocial personality disorder. And there are differences between a psychopath and a sociopath."
"How is that possible?" asked Marinette.
"There are plenty of reasons why people are the way they are," Aisha explained; even Marinette agreed. "But not all psychopaths and sociopaths are cold-blooded killers, criminals, or even mentally ill or psychotic. Some actually never committed a crime because they have the ability to adapt their amorality to fit into society. And they're everywhere; all ages and genders."
Marinette's eyes widened. "Whoa. That's scary."
"Indeed, it is. She loves attention; Lila can't get enough of it because it empowers, and she will do anything for it, even if that means lying."
Marinette scoffed heartily. "No doubt about that; she's a charmer."
"The thing with them is that they will also steal, cheat, manipulate, and then possibly discharge anything, anyone, until they get what they want; they'll even take pleasure in doing that and don't have any remorse. And anything or anyone who gets in the way is an obstacle to be eliminated."
Marinette moved her shoulders up. "What did I do to be her target?"
"You called her out on her lies," Aisha answered. "People like Lila hate that, and as a result of that, she's dead set on ruining you however she can, and Lila won't stop until she does. Even if that means taking everything you hold near and dear. She has a You're-Either-With-Me-Or-Against-Me pack mentality."
"I already know that."
"There are ways you can handle people like her…" Aisha finished up the chouquettes Marinette offered her. "I'd be happy to help you take her down."
"I'm all ears."
Surprisingly, nobody had seen Lila since she was exposed as the liar she was.
Hopefully, she's gone forever.
She even warned Kagami about Lila when the latter attempted to befriend her.
And speaking of Kagami…
Aisha first met Kagami in England for a royal wedding and for an audience with the monarchy; Aisha was there with her family along with Prince Adofo and his family, her "betrothed;" she made it clear she does not wish to be an arranged marriage with anyone else; least of all him.
Adrien introduced the two girls. "Kagami, this is Princess Lalla Aisha Kyautauna of Nikenobia. Aisha…"
"Kagami Tsurugi, yes. Kagami: Japanese for 'mirror' and 'looking glass.' The sacred Yata no Kagami mirror in ancient Japan was known to be the window of truth, wisdom, and honesty, like all mirrors do. Tsurugi: a legendary sword representing the virtue of valor. Fitting since you come from a prominent fencing family." Kagami gave her an intrigued look at Adrien. "I am fascinated with linguistics; part of it is etymology, the study of the origin and their meanings throughout history. Adrien has told me so much about you. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Kagami blushed a little bit when shaking the Princess Lalla's hand as Adrien continued, "She's quite an excellent fencer herself, you know."
"I learned from the best, including my bodyguard, Blessa," Aisha nodded to her stoic-faced bodyguard. "Like your mother, Ms. Kagami, she was a world-class Olympian fencing champion. She's also an incredibly skilled martial arts fighter among her many talents."
Unfortunately, she didn't get to spend much time with either of the two since she had to be with her own family for the entire weekend but she got to know her better when Aisha came to Paris.
Another exciting series of events was when Chloé Bourgeois got banished from the city for trying to stage a coup to be the city's next Mayor and tried Paris into a dictatorship after her father stepped down. It was fun and powerful when everyone, even her father, helped the two superheroes in her downfall after being urged and inspired by the superheroes.
And after everything Ladybug and Cat Noir have done as the sole defenders of Paris.
Even heroes need help every now and then.
Hopefully, she's gone forever, too…
But in the words from one of the most celebrated children's books…
Something is not right.
Wait and see what'll happen next chapter...
