Narrator's POV

Above the streets of Boston, a figure dressed in black is running fast and jumping from rooftop to rooftop.

Shoggoth, that is, Bruce and Lovecraft's identity, are doing some simple field tests to see what they are capable of now that they have received updates.

'Lovecraft, your new base speed is 300 km/h. Excellent progress from the previous 150 km/h.' Bruce communicates the new speed record via mental connection to his Symbiote.

Of course, Lovecraft can go much faster than this when he receives a boost via his Host's superpowers or magic.

'I'm a very fast girl!' Lovecraft exclaims over his mental connection, displaying a voice full of childlike joy, loving to run so fast across the rooftops of Boston.

"Time to see how useful Spider-Man's DNA is." He declares Shoggoth in a voice that sounds like a combination of Bruce's androgynous voice and Lovecraft's childlike voice.

Shoggoth continued running in a straight line approaching the edge of a building's roof.

Shoggoth didn't stop, instead he sped up, then once near the edge and jumped.

At that moment, white rectangular spots appeared on the backs of Shoggoth's hands.

'If these are Command Seals for a new Holy Grail War, I will cut off my hands and return to my laboratory.' Bruce thinks, having already participated in four deadly battle royales of a magical nature and does not want to participate in the fifth.

Fortunately, the stains are not Command Seals, but something simpler and more useful.

'Aim and fire cobwebs!' He shouts Lovecraft through the mental connection, shooting a pitch-black web from the back of his right hand.

The web stuck to the surface of a nearby building.

'Cobwebs from the backs of the hands, instead of the wrists, a subtle difference.' Bruce observes, shooting out another web from his left hand.

' Raise your left arm and shoot a web, then raise your right arm and shoot a web, repeat the pattern.' Bruce thinks, mentally repeating the steps to move as if he were Spider-Man.

' All our Quests with Spider-Man as Co-Player are useful to us.' Lovecraft exclaims, managing to do these acrobatic movements to perfection.

Shoggoth can swing like Spider-Man, not just because he recently received a boost via Peter Parker's DNA.

But, the greatest effect comes from Lovecraft and Bruce's perfect memory, combined with their analytical mind, perfect control of their body and previous adventures with Spider-Man, allowing them to imitate Spider-Man's movements.

Even if they have to make small changes to adapt Spider-Man's acrobatic maneuvers to their build.

For the next few minutes, Shoggoth continued to web-swing above the streets of Boston, building experience in the movement.

'I enjoy imitating Spider-Man!' Lovecraft exclaims, finding it funny to move the same way as Spider-Man.

' I prefer running, using grappling hooks or driving vehicles. This swinging like I'm a character from Attack on Titan or Tarzan.' Bruce communicates, not finding this method of transportation fun.

Suddenly Shoggoth's extrasensory perception glimpsed an elderly woman dressed in a long red dress covering her legs with a spider logo on her chest, her eyes are covered by a red blindfold.

'BB, have you seen the Lady who delivers Spider-Man's Quest?' Lovecraft asks, they glimpse Madam Web for a moment, sitting on a roof not far from them.

The Detective's Symbiote watched a lot of Anime and played some video games, eventually gaining the habit of using video game terminology.

Lovecraft in his experience with Bruce knows that the most interesting and exotic missions are offered by five individuals:

Zelretch Schweinorg, the Wizard who masters the Second True Magic and travels across the Multiverse with extreme ease.

Rachel Alucard, a vampire girl from the Boiling Isles who held the position of Watcher of the World.

Aeon, a time-traveling mystery man who is concerned with preserving the passage of time.

Nick Fury, Director of SHIELD, a man famous and infamous for being the best spy in the world who deals with the strangest events and characters in the world.

Madame Web, an older woman who deals with being Spider-Man's Master Yoda, but occasionally ends up interfering with other heroes as well.

'Of course I saw it. When we are Shoggoth we have 360° vision and our skin functions as an eye, ear, nose, mouth, tongue and finger.' Bruce responds, mentioning the details of their extrasensory perception.

Shoggoth immediately changes the direction of his path, heading straight for Madam Web.

'I have nothing personal with Madam Web, but every time I see her I end up participating in major misadventures related in some way to Spider-Man.' Bruce thinks, knowing that being visited by Madam Web is a bad sign.

'The last time the two of us met Madman Web, we had a blast.

The two of us have even met four alternate versions of Peter: Amazing Spider-Man, Ultimate Spider-Man, 2099 Spider-Man, Noir Spider-Man.' Lovecraft said in a happy voice, feeling feelings that are on the opposite bed compared to the host of him.

' Lovecraft only you had fun.

I have been split metaphysically into five parts, a painful thing, which has reduced my strength to 1/50, as well as limiting each part to a single skill set.

Then all of my parts were sent into four different dimensions to team up with the Spider-Man of that reunion.

Ultimately, the process of becoming whole again was not pleasant at all.' Bruce said in a bitter voice, finding the adventure centered on recovering the fragments of the Tablet of Order and Chaos to be one of his most difficult cases.

'BB, you're a Tsundere, if you say something you don't like, then there's 50% sanse you're lying.' Lovecraft replies with a light face, not believing that the host didn't have fun during the Shattered Dimensions case.

The argument between host and Symbiote ended when they landed on the roof where Madam Web is located.

"Good morning Detective and Grendelkin." Madam Web said, using her unique monikers to address the two parts that make up Shoggoth.

"I can only see and hear you, that means you're just a remote projection." Shoggoth said, quickly realizing that Madam Web isn't really here.

"What do you want from me, Spider-Man needs assistance with a paranormal problem?" Shoggoth asks, often being interpreted to deal with curses, vampires, or other supernatural phenomena.

"Your presence is required to tip the scales in favor of preserving the multiverse." Madam Web succeeds in answering questions without providing truly useful information.

'Don't tell me another idiot has found another artifact with great powers that can devastate the world.' Bruce thinks, imagining that an archaeologist found something ancient and powerful that was later stolen by a madman in a costume.

"The situation is more complex than you think. A greedy man wants to take back something that is irrecoverable, his attempt could destroy everything." Madam Web said in a serious voice, continuing to speak without giving names or details.

This kind of attitude may work with Spider-Man, but with this Occult Detective, talking like Yoda doesn't work so well, especially when you interrupt Bruce's tests.

Plus, Lovecraft doesn't like having his bonding moments with his host interrupted either.

"We two are not in the mood to hear your cryptic phrases." Shoggoth responds, as he approaches Madam Web, standing half a meter away from the older woman.

"You interrupted our moment, you show up out of the blue to engage our services, you don't even provide us with a guideline and above all we haven't heard a word regarding payment." Shoggoth declares in a cold, menacing voice.

Shoggoth's body takes on a more intimidating shape to reflect his tone of voice.

The body receives an influx of mass and volume, going from an androgynous, lean build to something that belongs on a giant bodybuilder.

Finally, a mouth full of teeth and a long tongue forms on the mask.

Madam Web being a woman who has literally seen it all, wasn't intimidated in the slightest, although one of the main reasons is that she isn't actually faced with an angry Symbiote.

"Protect the successor, reunite the lost spiders, destroy the source of the threat, and bring the spiders to their respective home." Madam Web said, providing slightly more concrete goals, even if they remain vague.

"This assignment has four objectives, it means that when the assignment is finished, I want a customized reward, you know I never work for free." Lovecraft said in a calm voice, without showing the aggression he had before. Perhaps it was an act or a negotiation tactic.

"Zelretch will take care of your reward." Madame Web said, not wanting to deal with paying for Detective Occult's services.

Bruce Belmont is a rather complicated and eccentric person, this also appears in his payment requests.

Its prices vary based on the customer and not on the difficulty of the job.

For normal cases, its prices start at $5 for the desperate and go up to $50,000 for the rich snobs. Although sometimes he may ask for stuff like a shiny object or an antique in the client's possession.

But for paranormal cases or cases that require explicit and prolonged use of his powers, his payments become quite demanding.

The Clock Tower has learned to collect ancient artifacts from the time of King Arthur or unique Mystic Codes to use as Bruce Belmont's pay.

SHIELD has purposely created a safe containing safe items that have been confiscated by their enemies, in every case that requires magical intervention, one of these items ends up in the hands of Bruce Belmont.

Attempts to hire Detective Occult and not pay him or not give him the promised pay ended in disaster.

"Is Zelretch involved in this too!?" Shoggoth exclaims in a raised voice as his fingers transform into sharp claws.

If you haven't guessed, Bruce Belmont is not on good terms with Zelretch.

"Do you have anything else to tell me?" Shoggoth asks as his claws grow bigger and sharper.

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." Madam Web responds with a phrase that literally came out of a Fortune Cookie.

"How does Spider-Man endure the presence of an oracle who speaks in riddles." Shoggoth mutters, not supporting the oracles and their senseless methods of communication.

Shoggoth took a step forward, and at that moment the reality around the roof began to distort into a mess of lights and strange visual effects.

An observer might say that the scene resembles a computer or video game screen amid a system crash.

" Zelretch, you will pay dearly for it!" Shoggoth shouts in a murderous voice as his body contorts in impossible ways.

The whole phenomenon lasted a few seconds, and when it stopped, Shoggoth was no longer there.

The only one left on the roof is the projection of Madam Web who observed what happened with acute attention.

"I did my part, I brought our X variable to the right place at the right time. I hope his presence can help the Spider-Gang.

In a place that can be described as a metaphysical corridor of webs and dimensional energy, we can see Shoggoth being carried by the metaphysical current to another Earth.

This dimensional travel was different from what Shoggoth is used to, because something unexpected happened, for a moment he connected to the Web of Life and Destiny

The Web of Life and Destiny is a three-dimensional construct in five-dimensional space which acts as a model of the entire Multiverse and enables travel between realities

Web of Life and Destiny is connected to every reality, every possible future, a vital focal point for the multiverse.

Shoggoth is made up of two beings, Bruce Belmont and Lovecraft, each of them has a unique heritage.

Even if Lovecraft doesn't remember, she is a Grendelkin, an offshoot of an ancient, primordial dragon symbiote.

This heritage combined with the Peter Parker DNA he absorbed allows Lovecraft to connect with the Web of Life and Destiny, if only for a brief moment.

Bruce is a person with a vast heritage, born with several blessings, making him a unique case, being compared to Artoria Pendragon, Heracles, Karna and Gilgamesh.

In this situation, the legacy of his paternal grandfather and paternal grandmother allows Bruce to see the entire Web of Life and Destiny in its full breadth and depth.

His paternal grandfather was a half-being connected to Samael, a being who witnessed the creation of the physical world and the human race.

His paternal grandmother belonged to the Bahamut lineage, one of the seven ancient noble families of the Boiling Isles.

This lineage of witches was blessed by Bahamut, a Dragon God/Great Spirit who can be considered one of the most powerful beings in the Boiling Isles.

The two legacies combined allow Bruce to have a mind capable of surviving and understanding the billions of information obtained from the Web of Life and Destiny.

A seemingly limitless influx invaded Bruce's mind without respite.

While Bruce's mind and sense of self can process and withstand such an influx of knowledge, his physical brain cannot survive for long.

Out of survival instinct, Bruce's mind has focused only on the threads connected to his own existence, while Lovecraft is trying to help.

Bruce Bel Bahamut Belmont's view was filled with images that can be classified as the future.

Bruce's first vision consists of a young boy dressed in a bad Spider-Man cosplay who is accompanied by seven web-shooting heroes.

The second vision shows a lilac-haired girl, dressed in knight's armor and wielding a huge shield. The girl knight calls him Senpai.

The third vision features a teenage girl with long blonde hair, wielding a magic wand that creates flaming rainbows.

The fourth vision depicts a five-year-old girl dressed as a nun who resembles him.

The fifth vision features a young boy with spiky hair using a key-shaped sword, an anthropomorphic duck with white plumage wielding a stick, and an anthropomorphic dog with black fur and floppy ears using a shield.

The sixth vision shows several anthropomorphic ducks going on Treasure Hunter-style adventures, the ducks seem to be guided and inspired by a certain Scrooge McDuck and Donald Duck.

Finally, Bruce saw some kind of half-demon with a chainsaw for a head and hands, who is fighting a beautiful woman with red hair and yellow eyes with multiple red rings in them.

The Occult Detective continued to receive an influx of visions, although their consistency depended solely on a single decision or possibility.

Futures that can only exist through a particular event, a What If?

First of all, Bruce sees an albino teenager in light armor exploring a dungeon and fighting a Minotaur, the boy asks him: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?

Then, Bruce sees a green-haired, nerdy teenager who says he wants to go to UA high school, surpass his former idol All Might and become the world's greatest hero.

Finally, Bruce saw a brown-haired Bunny-Girl, dressed in blue-black paramilitary garb. The Bunny-Girl is calling him Doctor and says they have to go back to Rhodes Island.

Bruce's mind has received more absurd visions that seem an order of magnitude higher than the last visions.

Bruce sees himself, a girl with a large shield and two other acquaintances teaming up with the Teen Titans to stop aliens from invading Jump City.

Bruce saw himself and the girl with the big shield teaming up with Batman, Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern again.

Bruce for the third time received a vision of himself and the girl with the big shield helping the world's greatest heroes: Iron-Man, Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man, Wasp.

Finally, Bruce sees a pirate ship with the most bizarre crew in the multiverse: A rubber man, a swordsman with three swords, a thief/meteorologist, a hapless cowardly sniper, a kick boxing chef, a shape-shifting reindeer doctor, an archaeologist, a soda-run cyborg carpenter and a living skeletal musician.

Suddenly something in Bruce's brain moved, his eyes turned pink quartz

Bruce's mind has seen what can be summed up as generations of different heroes using transforming devices, riding motorcycles, and defeating monsters with a kick.

"Kuuga, Agito, Ryuki, Faiz, Blade, Hibiki, Kabuto, Den-O, Kiva, W, OOO, Fourze, Wizard, Gaim, Drive, Ghost, Ex-Aid, Build, Zero-One, Saber, Revice, Geats , Gotchard." Bruce mutters for

All these visions and many more continue to invade the Occult Detective's mind, beginning to overload his physical brain,

Lovecraft, seeing how his Host's brain is in an accelerated cycle of degeneration and regeneration, decides to help.

The Symbiote uses its old and new abilities to form a barrier around its Host's mind, to prevent visions from being processed.

After that, Lovecraft is erasing or suppressing excess information, reducing the strain on his Host's brain.

Unfortunately, even with all the efforts that Lovecraft is making in undoing the damage, it is impossible that this experience does not leave a mark on Bruce.

At the end of the process, on a conscious level Bruce should not remember anything about this experience, but on a subconscious level things are more uncertain.

His dreams will probably be less figments of the imagination and more possibilities of alternative or even stranger futures.

Earth-1610B, New York City.

The entire city is shocked by terrible news: Spider-Man, aka Peter Parker, is dead.

The city and the people have lost their beloved spider-themed protector and nothing will change that fact...

All the citizens, including a boy who personally witnessed Spider-Man's death, do not know that seven dimensional portals have opened in various corners of the city, bringing seven spider-themed heroes, even if one of them is a thousand times older bizarre than the others.

Unaware of all the citizens, including a boy who personally witnessed Spider-Man's death, seven dimensional portals opened in various corners of the city.

The seven brought spit out seven spider-themed heroes, even though one of them is a thousand times more bizarre and has more in common with a Lovecraft creature than with a spider.

New York City's Theater District, sometimes spelled Theater District and officially zoned as the "Theater Subdistrict", is an area and neighborhood in Midtown Manhattan where most Broadway theaters are located, in addition to other theaters, movie theaters, restaurants, hotels, and other places of entertainment.

It is bounded by West 40th Street on the south, West 54th Street on the north, Sixth Avenue on the east and Eighth Avenue on the west, and includes Times Square.

The Great White Way is the name given to the section of Broadway which runs through the Theater District.

In one of these theaters a dimensional portal threw Shoggoth, ending up falling onto the stage.

"To be or not to be a leaf at the mercy of the wind of the multiverse." Shoggoth mutters with a confused expression, as if he were drunk or on drugs.

The next few days will be very interesting for the residents of New York City.
