Chapter 2- Hognapping should not be this pleasant.

The pink organic known as "Amy Rose" has been successfully captured during an ambush in the later zones of Collision Chaos. For the sake of recording, this unit will explain this in more detail.

As this unit predicted before, facing down both hedgehogs at once would be a worst case scenario, thus instead of gambling with chance. This unit has chosen a specific place to create a perfect trap for the capture. In the midst of the Collision Chaos landscape lies a small tunnel that is one of the few ways to progress through, without wasting immense times scaling the mountains. Thus by putting rows of spikes in the past version of the zone, the only path available for the hedgehog would be to try and go through the upper path only to meet with a dead end. This would be the perfect moment to use the unit's overdrive move to smash through the barrier and capture the pink organic, as the distance would be just far enough that the blue one would be unable to return in the time needed to disrupt this unit from reaching a height that makes them unable to be struck at.

For the sake of extra caution, the tunnel also leads one directly into the path of a sign post that leads into the future. The momentum of which the blue organic gained through rolling and being launched into the air would be the key to an unavoidable trip to the future. So far everything has gone along as the plan expected it to be, but the return trip did have some noticeable events.

All of them naturally caused by the pink organic. Despite her proclivities and shouts for help, she did not stop struggling within this unit's grip for several minutes despite the clear risk of the damage a fall from such a great height could inflict on her. Her trashing got so bad in fact, that once this unit finally reached the outer confines of Palmtree Panic's mountains, this unit decided to land back down and simply walk the rest of the way. Not that the organic had any chance of harming the armor let alone the jet of this unit, of course. This unit simply decided to do so because her hands got dangerously close to the jet flames behind this unit, which if met with contact would have absolutely done irreversible damage to her and this unit was not given the permission to cripple her.

Not to say the unit was tempted, because this unit wasn't. Sure, the organic kept shouting at this unit to 'let go!' alongside derogatory names of 'Wannabe'; 'Bag of Bolts'; and 'jerk' but this unit easily saw it all as the bravado that it is. After all, why should a wonder of technology be afraid of some girl with atttitude? It would be like Dr Eggman deigning to have an argument with a mushroom.

Still the longer this unit walked, the more her struggles started to slow, it was clear that her energy was starting to reach it's limits. So she finally stopped the attempts with a hostile puff alongside spouting her belief that she'll be saved soon enough by the unit's counterpart and thus this unit can keep her as a hostage as long as 'he' wants. That sentence however has two mistakes, one this unit cares not for her permission at all, if this unit did, she wouldn't be a hostage, she'd be a guest.

And two, this unit does not care to be called with a 'he'. The proper term would be 'it' for this unit is a machine and to delude oneself into amusing otherwise is a prime road to traitorous thoughts from what this unit has read on the Eggnet's archives. Unless Dr Eggman himself were to call this unit by such a term, this unit will not accept any sort of thing thrown it's way from the captive.

However this unit, as direly noted before. Had no way to communicate such a thing other than through a beep slash boop alongside a roll of the eyes that conveyed sarcasm and displeasure. This gesture only made her puff once more and from the way she tilted her nose up and put some air in her cheeks, the captive looked for just a moment more like an offended squirrel than a hedgehog.

Still her attitude quickly changed, when inside a forested region of the mountains, she noticed a plain of flowers. With a squeal and words such as 'Oh my gosh! Those flowers look so pretty!' the hedgehog quickly changed her tune and demanded slash asked with false politeness (With a 'please' a the end of her 'question') if this unit could stop nearby them so she could observe them more.
This unit did not understand her excitement towards such plain plant life, then again, this unit did notice some increase in her obedience albeit faked to get her objective the same way Dr Eggman would 'politely' ask this unit to overlook the fact he's consuming an unhealthy bar of chocolate in the middle of the night, which is the same as asking this unit to overlook the increased chances in weight gain. The similarities did not end there for this unit was sure at the time that had it refused then the hedgehog would have thrown a tantrum similar to his creator in that scenario. Not eager for such a repeat and hoping that by satisfying this one whim she'll keep up the good act. This unit decided to approach the plain of flowers, but did not let go of the captive despite her protests.

However, the hedgehog then, in a case of something this unit is not sure off, still managed to persuade this unit into holding at least one of her arms instead of her whole body so she can bend down and sniff and touch the flowers at her leisure. She accomplished such a feat by putting her two fists together to her face before quivering her little lip and somehow increasing the bulges of her eyes until they reached a state so similar to the picture of a bunch of puppies in a basket.

Somehow this maneuver that was proven grotesque when Dr Eggman attempted it on this unit once, proved at least effective enough that yes, this unit gave her the opportunity to use her one free hand to summon her hammer and smash it against this unit in some attempt to escape were she to try it.

But she didn't, instead she kept gushing and info-dropping about any and all flowers that she saw as she led the way for once through the flower-field while this unit simply held onto her gloved wrist. This unit thus gained useless information about sunflowers, orchids, daisies, tulips, dahlias and about ten more other flowers. Aside from the fact that sunflower seeds are a high-protein, low-sugar and cholesterol-free snack that is. Still the hedgehog kept parting freely with information about them and even asked this unit which flower 'he' liked the most with a sparkle in her eyes.

It was then within that moment, and this unit cannot apologize enough for such a grave misuse, that this unit's ai actively wasted energy considering the pros and cons of every flower this unit has seen on the planet alongside their overall aesthetic. This unit is aware that wasting time on a concept that does not advance Dr Eggman's is a long step away from actual heresy but even so, this unit will request post writing this for a necessary scan of their hardware and software in case of any bugs.

As for the flower chosen it was the 'Queen of the night' tulip. However such a name is a misnomer for the tulip is not as black as night as the name presumes, instead it's truly a dark maroon purple. The reason this unit chose them was because from a distance, they look like a bunch of cherries.

And cherries are low in calories and filled with fiber, vitamins, minerals, nutrients and also possess a good taste for their simplistic design. Thus making one of the few fruits that Dr Eggman does eat.

It was upon remembering that memory that this unit realized that the hedgehog distracted this unit from the mission. Sure, there was no time limit but this unit will most definitely be scolded for idling when this unit could have escorted and dumped the captive in a cell several minutes ago.

Thus, this unit tugged at her wrist gently and then pointed his way towards the direction of the base to non-verbally communicate that now is the time to be moving. If she were to refuse such a thing then this unit would have stopped the gentle treatment and simply dragged her there instead.

She did no such thing, instead asking if she could grab some of the flowers for a second. This unit naturally was disturbed at how naturally she asked such a thing, as if this unit and her were two organic 'buddies' spending a casual day at the park. Even so, this unit simply nodded yes, because as stated before, this unit saw no reason to not act in ways that would guarantee her obedience.

With a quick 'thanks!' that this unit is sure must have been a mistake of the moment, the pink organic quickly started to look around the flower plain once more with increased focus, humming some sort of tune while she gently picked the flowers and cut them from the stems with a pair of scissors that this unit is sure she did not have in hand beforehand. Nor does her dress seem to have hidden pockets so how is this phenomena of just making items appear possible? Is it a power?

This unit doesn't know, but did vow to observe and record such occurrences whenever they happen, regardless once the organic was done and held some flowers which were overall less than 10% of the field itself. She said 'let's go then!' with a satisfied look on her face, so this unit complied.

And so the rest of the return trip was surprisingly devoid of more events, there was no sudden reappearance of 'Sonic the hedgehog'; no escape attempts from 'Amy Rose' and most of all surprising was the fact that Dr Eggman was not present in the quarters once they arrived.

A note however was left for this unit's sake and the message within it told this unit that Dr Eggman would come back in about a day or two as he is now preparing a trap in Tidal Tempest. Until then this unit is to stay within the base, keep the base clean and tend to the captive alongside the usual responsibilities. Upon his return, Dr Eggman will have a look at the captive as well. Take Care.

Of course, this unit only read this note after escorting the captive to her cell. Which consisted of a barren room with a cold platinum floor, a wooden plank attached to one side of the wall to make for a seat, one toilet with no curtains to hide any sort of privacy alongside a wash basin. Light seeped out of a barred window a few feet above and naturally a steel door and several bars kept the captive in. To nobody's surprise, the organic immediately had several complaints to throw this unit's way.

This unit ignored the ones that were unimportant but did however give her some leeway at the fact that there was no bed and that sleeping on a cold hard floor in this season would outright asking for her to get sick if not sleep deprived from discomfort. Though this unit was not organic that did not mean this unit was incapable of placing itself into their shoes, so, for the sake of making this easier on the unit.

This unit simply kept in mind the idea on how he would treat Dr Eggman as a captive.

Not that this unit ever would, of course. But the imagination play made it much easier for this unit to move the mattress, sheet and pillows from one of the bedrooms into the cell for her to use. That alongside a vase with cold water for her plants to put in and some curtain just barely hiding the toilet part of the room was the most this unit would allow the captive to have as luxuries.

If the captive remains obedient and cooperative, this unit will allow her more privileges and vice-versa if she misbehaves. This unit believes that such a system will ensure a healthy captivity that minimizes any changes of harm to the captive alongside acts of rebellions from the latter.

Now then, ignoring her protests as it leaves the captive to be on her own for now. This unit has much research to do on how best to treat female hedgehogs. The possibility that some food could be poison to her race is the exact reason why this unit cannot treat this job any more lightly than it does any other one. That is also why one of the first things this unit will do is find a bell or other tool that will allow the captive to signal for his presence in the odds something requires his presence. (But if she abuses that, then naturally it will be confiscated for a few days, like the system this unit described)

As the time of dinner approaches, this unit shall do it's research and feed the hedgehog with the appropriate food. For this unit is the jailer and "Amy Rose" the captive. That is it's mission.

And this unit never fails a mission.
