Hunter's Golden Arrow Suit in this story: A leather suit with a hood in metallic gold and golden brown colors, laced with polymer kevlar weave, arm guards on the sleeves, black gloves, leg holsters which had held flechettes, black combat boots, and a quiver strapped on his back. He sports dark grease paint and a yellow face mask to conceal his face.

Luz's civilian attire in this story: A violet sleeveless hoodie, white t-shirt, blue jeans, purple wool fingerless gloves, and white sneakers.

Luz's Artemis Suit in this story: A leather suit with a hood in purple and violet colors, laced with polymer kevlar weave, arm guards on the sleeves, purple gloves, leg holsters which had held backup bolts, black combat boots. She sports a purple domino mask, along with purple eye shadow and a purple face mask, to conceal her face.

Luz's respective weapons: A Cobra 80lb Self Cocking crossbow pistol, and tessen steel fans.

Outside the Owl House, Hunter practiced archery with his bow as he shot arrows at multiple tennis balls, with Luz assisting via throwing tennis balls as Eda, King, Owlbert, and Hooty all watched, observing closely. They had been watching Hunter practice archery for about half an hour. He then lowered his left arm, which held his bow, and looked on to see with his targets in approval as all six of those tennis balls were precisely hit with his arrows.

"So that's the secret? A small ball?" Eda asked.

"Well... it's more like what keeps one's aim sharp when performing archery." Hunter said. "When shooting a projectile, in this case an arrow, you need to hit your target with a direct and precise hit. However, if you are off, just a little bit..."

Luz then tossed another tennis ball up in the air as Hunter fired another arrow, only for it to miss the target and hit a nearby tree.

"Then it deflects." Hunter then signaled Luz to end the training session as he turned to his teacher, curling his bow and putting it away. "Eda, wielding a bow and arrow is something that requires control. In other words, to be a skilled archer, you need to have both patience and discipline. Any lack in those requirements, then you'll lose to your enemies and the Emperor's Coven will capture you, no matter how much of a powerful witch you claim to be."

Eda snorted at this. "Yeah, right! Look, kid, I know you mean well, but I can handle myself."

Hunter and Luz both raised their eyebrows at this, before Luz came up with an idea.

"Really? Well then, come with me." She gestured Eda to follow her, which she does. "There's a difference, Eda, between having powers, in this case magic, and having precision." Luz said as she goes for her crossbow pistol, unfolding it.

"Just because you have magic doesn't mean you can always rely on it. What if there may be a situation one day where your magic is disabled or maybe even taken from you? That's why Hunter and I are teaching you how to practice archery, so that you're not too over dependent on it if you're in a dire situation."

Eda was about to retort that, but she had to agree that Luz did have a point. The more that she uses her magic too much, the more she may lose her magic due to her curse negating her magic supply and becoming powerless.

"So what's the lesson here, Luz?" She asked Luz.

"Well, since you're probably as stubborn as Hunter is..." Luz began explaining before being cut off.

"HEY!" Hunter and Eda both exclaimed as Luz continues.

"You're gonna head over there, try to come back at me, and then you're gonna get hit by a bolt from my crossbow." Luz said, pointing towards the entrance to the forest.

Eda let out a laugh. "No, I'm not."

Luz chuckled. "Yes, you are."

Eda gave in, a hint of arrogance on her face. "Alright then, allow me to humor you, my apprentice." She then made her way to the forest entrance before turning back to Luz.

"Ready?" Eda shouts.

Luz aims her crossbow, her finger on the trigger. "Ready." She responds, and pulls the trigger, firing the bolt at Eda, who races back to her and stops it in time by drawing a spell circle with her right hand.

"Nice try, kiddo." Eda chuckled, unaware of what was behind her.

Suddenly, two crossbows, which were different and bigger from the small one that Luz carries with her, then automatically shoots arrows at Eda at her back. Eda very loudly yelled in pain, her spell circle magic surrounding the bolt Luz fired dissipating. King, Owlbert, who covered his own eyes with his wings, and Hooty winced and cringed in pain at the sight as Hunter approached Eda from behind.

"Y-YOU ACTUALLY HIT ME?!" Eda exclaimed in pain, looking at the bolts on her back as Hunter placed his hands on them.

"Hey, you can remove limbs, I don't see how that's any different." Hunter said before pulling out the bolts from Eda's back.

"AAAH! Mother-!" Eda shouted, feeling the bolts come out of her back.

"Now do you understand, Eda? Luz has a point, you got overconfident and didn't think that there were traps set up around the house that could still hit you. When you entering an environment, either familiar or new, you have to case every inch of it, to make sure you don't get hit by anything or anyone. You can't just run in blind, you have to think, anticipate, and plan out your strategy before attacking." Hunter said to her as he goes to the crossbows.

"Your point, Hunter?" Eda groaned in pain, reeling from the surprise attack.

"My point is that it's gonna take more than magic to take down you enemies. You can't be too reliant on your magic or else one day you'll be hurt, like just now, or you might be imprisoned by the Emperor's Coven, or possibly killed somebody more powerful than you. Only through training and discipline will help you stay alive." Hunter said as he disarmed the crossbows and carried them back into the Owl House.

Eda looked on before turning to Luz. "Hunter's right, Eda. Oliver did this stuff for 12 years and he had encountered things in our realm that you can't even imagine or fathom was possible, and yet he stood tall against these threats. Not because magic kept him out of the ground, or superhuman abilities, but because he knew that he needed to keep learning, training, and getting smarter. He taught us this lesson so we could never be caught off-guard, and now we teach this to you, Eda."

Luz then turned to the Owl House, before turning to Eda. "And until you learn that, Eda, you'll bring only more harm and damage than good." She then walks off, leaving Eda outside with King, Owlbert and Hooty, along with her thoughts in her mind.

Eda looked down at the ground, a frown on her face as she thought about Hunter and Luz's words of advice. And if she was going to be honest, her students were right in what they said. She's been too reliant on her magic and the more she uses it, the more she may be in real danger in a dire situation. She seems to finally take their words to heart, sighing, as she goes to talk to the siblings, but stops when she sees her arms are covered in blackish-gray feathers. King, Owlbert, and Hooty's eyes widened in alarm.

"Ah, guys! GUYS!" King shouted, calling out for Hunter and Luz as he scrambled to the Owl House on all fours as Owlbert flew beside him.

As Hunter stored the crossbows in a weapons room in the Owl House, Luz just stood outside by the door. Once Hunter left the room, he saw his sister standing by the door. He lets a tired sigh before speaking.

"I know what you're gonna say, Hermana, but this is for her own good. She needs to understand that if she continues to rely on her powers more than rely on herself... it's going to get her killed."

"Actually, I was gonna say that." Luz says, much to the surprise of her older brother. "You taught her what Oliver taught us, that she needs to rely and trust on her instincts, and not just her magic."

"Oh." Hunter simply said.

She then fist-bumped Hunter, before asking "Do you think we make good teachers?"

"I think the question is, are we ready to take on the burden and responsibility of being teachers?" Hunter said as he rubbed his face with his hands, exhaling as he did. "What would Oliver do?"

Luz frowns at her brother's self-doubt, and goes to say something, but then they both hear something.

"Hunter! Luz!" King came running in and ran into Luz, who caught him in her arms as Owlbert flew in front of Hunter, warbling and hooting frantically.

"King, what's going on?" She asked.

"It's Eda! Her curse is showing up again!" King answered.

Hunter and Luz's eyes widened in alarm, with Luz turning to her brother. "Go to Eda's room and get all the elixir you can find, King, Owlbert, and I will bring her back inside! Go, now!" She ordered.

Hunter nodded his head and ran off to Eda's room as Luz ran to get Eda, with King on her shoulder and Owlbert flying beside her. Once Hunter arrived at Eda's room, he quickly made his way to Eda's closet for her elixirs and eventually found the chest where she kept them. He then grabbed a bottle of elixir, but looked at the chest to see that all of the elixir bottles were emptied, as he realized that the one he has in his hand is the very last elixir.

Hearing screaming coming from the staircase, Hunter turned to see Luz, Owlbert, and King assisting Eda, who was the one screaming, to her room, her arms still covered with feathers. Hunter rushed over to Eda and gave her the last elixir, as she then uncorked the bottle and drank it all very quickly. Once Eda finished her elixir, she viewed her arms to see the feathers disappear, reverting back to normal.

"Ack! No matter how many times I drink this, it always tastes bad!" She exclaimed, gagging at the taste before looking at Hunter and Luz in appreciation. "Thank you both for helping me."

"No problem, Eda." Luz said.

"Anytime." Hunter said as well before Eda turned to her chest to see all her elixirs were now nothing more but empty bottles.

"Well, that's a problem. I'm all out of elixir." She said.

"Well then, we gotta get more before you turn into a monster again! And I do NOT want to relive that!" Luz said to her as she knelt next to Eda, shuddering as she remembered Eda's curse monster form. It was so freaky and more ravenous than any animal she's ever heard of before. She also kept a photo of it on her phone as proof to show Hunter what happened, and he was also shocked to find out about this.

"Okay okay, let's just calm down, I actually know a guy in town who can get me my elixir. It's just a quick trip to the market." Eda said as she dropped her empty bottle back in the chest.

"Then let's go before this gets worse." Hunter said, with Luz standing up and walking to the door with King following.

"And I can pickpocket anyone we pass!" King shouted in glee, with Hunter turning to him.

"That's technically a bad thing to do, King." He pointedly said.

"Hey, guys before we head out, how about one more game of Hexes Hold'em? I'll shuffle." Eda asked as she pulled out a deck of purple cards with eyes on them.

Both Luz and King groan at this while Hunter facepalms at this before heading to Eda and taking the cards from her hand in rapid succession. "Yeah, I'll be taking those." Hunter says.

"Hey! Give me back my cards!" Eda yelled at Hunter, going for her cards, but Hunter stopped her with one hand on Eda's face.

"Eda, now is not the time for card games. What you need is an elixir, so stop procrastinating and let's get going!" Hunter ordered, handing the cards to Owlbert, who then flew ahead of him and others.

"I will deal with you later!" Eda said to Hunter, upset that he had the gall to steal from her but a bit impressed, as she chased after Owlbert. "Get back here with my cards, Owlbert!"

"How did Hunter know Eda was so into Hexes Hold'em that she would forget about her curse for a second?" King asked Luz.

"Anyone who brags that much about how good they are, is either really arrogant or an addict. We've both seen it several times back in the Human Realm." Luz said as she, Hunter, and King followed after the addicted Owl Lady.

After catching up with Eda, making sure she DIDN'T play another round of cards, and getting her a cloak to disguise herself, the group made their way to the market and were currently standing before the closed metal cover of a potion shop named "Mr. Elixir." Eda banged on the cover while calling out her "guy" so she could get her curse fighting elixir.

"Morton! Morton! Come on, I know you're in there!" Eda screamed as King, Hunter, and Luz went sit down on a bench, watching the people of the Isles go about their days,

"Give me a minutes!" a voice, Morton, call out from the metal cover.

Back with the demon, witch, and human, the trio of friends simply sat on a bench and watched as a large egg rolled up to a group of monsters at a bus stop. The egg opens and a large, featherless, newborn bird screeches before flying out of it. The group of monsters got inside as one of them closed the top shell before rolling away.

"NO! NO! Wait for me!" Tiny Nose, the small female creature from the Conformatorium, shouted as she ran up to try and catch the egg but missed it. "Dang it. Not again."

'Okay...so that's what goes as a bus stop here.' Luz thought as she was a bit weirded out. But then again, she and Hunter are both starting to get used to seeing the level of weirdness in this realm.

"Such is the struggle and curse of being a small person." Hunter said.

"Tiny-legged companion, I understand and feel your pain." King said in sympathy, as he watched Tiny Nose look down in defeat before she looked up at the sound of loud footsteps before scurrying away from something in terror while screaming.

King and Luz watched in surprise as a larger witch with a brown cloak stepped up and waved his hand forward. He motioned for other witches dressed like him to follow. They do so while pulling a cart with a large worm-like demon tied to it through the street.

"Woah! What the hell is with those guys?" Luz asked as she went over to Eda with King following. Turning away from the metal cover, Eda frown at the ground as they continued to march through town.

"Something is telling me that that's not a parade." Hunter said, narrowing his eyes at the robed witches.

"You're right about that," Eda said while eyeing the brown cloak Witches. "Those are demon hunters."

"Demon hunters?" Luz said before she and Hunter both observed them. The demon that was tied down growled and started bucking against its bindings. The two demon hunters pushing the cart pulled its ropes to pin it back down. It tries to bite at the first demon hunter, but he merely steps away.

"Yeah, those creeps are demon hunters. Violent nomads that wander the Isles and hunt the biggest, strongest demons to sell them for a living." Eda said as the worm demon they caught roared at the nomads.

The first demon hunter traced a spell circle, creating lightning in his hand. Then without mercy, he blasted the demon into submission, putting it down in an unconscious state. When he stopped, the hunter turned and looked at the Owl House group with one eye covered with an eye patch. The Hunter eyed King a bit but not bothering to hunt him since he was weak looking before looking up to Luz.

Luz felt uneasy when the man stared at her, but she did her best in trying to hide it as she stared at him and the other hunters down a bit, just telling from the looks of them that they weren't meant to be messed with. Hunter, however, growled in at the sight of them as he clenched his fists.

The hunters stared at them for a bit before they continued on their way.

"Bastards!" Hunter sneered in a low voice, before he, Luz, and King turned to Eda.

"So, demon hunters, huh? " Luz questioned. "Yeah, I don't trust them. It looked like they wanted to hunt us, us three." She said, gesturing to herself, Hunter, and King.

"Yeah, well I wouldn't be surprised. But don't worry, I'm not going to let that happen to any of you. However, judging from the looks of them, I may be their next target if you DON'T OPEN UP, MORTON!" Eda shouted as she turned back to the metal cover and continued pounding on the gate until the man finally opened the gate.

The metal cover was then slid up as the owner himself, Morton. A lanky young man with light, palish skin, brown eyes, and short brown hair, but what made the guy stand out was that he was wearing a funnel as a hat.

"Sorry for the delay, Eda! I was up all night taste testing poisons and now I'm not feeling so well for some reason." Morton said as he held his stomach in pain.

Hunter and Luz were both flabbergasted in disbelief, exchanging glances at each other as they once again questioned the intelligence of the Boiling Isles' residents before turning back to Morton.

"So you taste-tested poison and you don't know why you're not feeling okay? I mean, why would you even do it at all? It's literally called poison for a reason!" Hunter demanded Morton of his idiotic reason for being late to open, while Luz turned to Eda with an incredulous look on her face.

"Are you sure this is the place where you get your elixir from, and that this guy is one who gives you your elixir?" She asked, inadvertently offending Morton as a hurt look appears on his face.

"Yes, but we can talk about that later." Eda said, before pulling out an empty bottle of her elixir and handing it to Morton. "Well, Morton my old friend, the reason I'm here is because I'm all out of elixir. I need more juice now."

"Oh, dear." Morton hummed as he took the bottle from Eda. "Well, I'll see what I can do, E. Just give me a few minutes."

Morton then ducked down and started digging around for any elixir, the sounds of rattling bottles coming from inside his shop.

"Well, while we're waiting for you to get your elixir, Luz and I are just gonna take a look around here." Hunter said, hoping to find a distraction.

Hunter and Luz then looked back over at the Demon Hunters and saw them moving on with their catch. As they go past, Luz spots a pair of familiar witches, Willow and Gus.

"Hey, guys!" Luz said as she ran over to Willow and Gus, with Hunter following behind. They both seem to have gotten their friends' attention before they both noticed the crestfallen expressions on their faces.

"Hey, what's wrong? Did something happen?" Hunter asked.

"Them." Willow said as she pointed to a group of girls from Hexside, making Hunter and Luz look in which direction she was pointing to.

The two siblings spotted Amity with three other girls in Hexside uniforms. One was a three-eyed Witch with pinkish-red hair in a yellow sleeved school uniform. The next was a dark skin witch with dark brown hair and glasses along with a blue-sleeved uniform. The last girl was also dark skin but with silver and puffy black hair and a red-sleeved uniform. Everyone except Amity was laughing and looked like they were enjoying themselves at the potions stand.

"Amity invited everyone in class to a moonlight conjuring at her place tonight, except us." Willow said as she looked at the ground, sad.

"And she posted it all over her Penstagram account. But the most surprising thing is that she didn't write anything insulting about nerds, dorks, or powerless witches, like she would normally do." Gus said as he drew a spell circle, summoning a small unfurled scroll and showed Hunter and Luz a picture of Amity and her friends posing.

"Moonlight Conjuring tonight." Luz read out aloud, before she looked up with a confused look on her face. "What's a Moonlight Conjuring?"

Hunter shrugged his shoulders.

"Well, once a year, a group of witches get together to tell stories and play games before they bring something to life using magic thanks to the moon." Willow said as she pulled out a book and showed both Luz and Hunter the information on the conjuring.

"So it's like a slumber party with magic." Luz put together with a nod.

"Or a sleepover." Hunter added.

"Yeah, but a conjuring requires at least 3 people to do right and we've never been to one." Willow said as she pointed to the page in the book.

"Well then you can have a moonlight conjuring this because this year, you have me and my brother, Hunter." Luz said as she pointed to herself and Hunter, who looked up in sudden confusion.

"Humansistersaywhat?" Hunter asked rapidly, raising an eyebrow to his sister.

"Yeah, I mean, the idea of animating objects to life with magic from a celestial body sounds interesting. And besides, you two plus me and Hunter makes 4 people, ergo, enough for us to have our own conjuring. So what do you say, Hermano? You want in?" Luz asks.

Hunter eventually gave in, shrugging his shoulders.

"Fine. But we have to ask Eda first. We don't know if she'll just let us have the conjuring in her place, I mean one wrong misstep, and she may never trust us ever again in this lifetime." He pointed out.

Both of them were more excited again, Gus even more than Willow as he was bouncing with excitement. The duo then squealed in excitement before they were interrupted when Amity's friend group walked by, laughing at them.

"Sorry you couldn't get an invite to the conjuring, Willow." The three-eyed girl mocked as she then saw Hunter and Luz among the losers.

"Hey, Amity. Isn't that the human and powerless witch you met at the Convention?" Amity looked at both Hunter and Luz, and to the surprise of everyone around, she waved her hand at the two. "That they are, Boscha." She says before remembering that Luz was there.

"Hi, Luz." Amity greeted with a small smile and a blush on her face as she looks away from Luz, already remembering the kiss on the cheek from the Covention.

"H-hi..." Luz greeted back, stuttering her words while blushing as well, as she also looked away from Amity.

'Well, well, well.' Hunter thought with a grin, finally having something to tease Luz with.

"HEY!" Boscha shouts, alarming everyone as she stepped forward, now in front of Hunter's face, confronting him. "You're that powerless witch that Amity met at the Covention, along with that human, am I right or not?"

"Yes, that's us, but you should rethink your phrasing after seeing what we're capable of." Hunter said to Boscha, glowering at her.

"Especially me. Trust me, you don't even want to KNOW what my brother is capable of." Luz said to Boscha.

Boscha snorts at this. "What you two are capable of? Please! What can a human and powerless witch do? None of you have magic and you're just a bunch of criminals!" She mocks, jabbing her index finger at Hunter's face.

Willow and Gus both cringed as Amity and her friends covered their mouths and Luz began to get angry. Hunter took a deep breath and exhaled before turning back to Boscha.

"What did you just call us?" Hunter asked the triclops witch.

"I said you two are nothing but a bunch of criminals, you and your-.

However, before Boscha had the chance to finish her insult, Hunter grabs her finger and bends it backwards, causing her to scream in pain. Amity and Boscha's friends jumped back in alarm, as did Willow and Gus, King and Eda both turned to see the commotion, and Luz stared at Boscha, shaking her head as she sighed.

'She should've just kept her mouth shut.' She thought.

"You asked what a powerless witch can do, right? This is what a powerless witch can do!" Hunter growled, glaring at Boscha as she felt her entire body turn cold. "Listen, I may not know who you are or why you're like this but I will not stand for name calling or hazing from you! If I hear that you do something like this again to anyone, then I will find you. Is that clear?"

"I-I-I- Ye-Yes! "Boscha nodded her head rapidly in fear.

"Good." Hunter then let go of Boscha's finger and pushed her away with his hand. "No one, and I mean NO ONE, insults me, my friends or my sister!" He sneered.

'Holy Belos, that was scary!' The girl in the red Hexside uniform named Skara thought as she, the dark skin witch named Cat, and Amity, along with Willow and Gus, were all shocked to see Hunter this... ruthless.

'He just stood up to Boscha and she did nothing!' Cat thought in shock, her jaw dropped.

'Wow. He and Luz are even more fearless than I thought.' Amity thought, nearly dropping her shopping bag.

Eda and King were also surprised by this, that Hunter could become so... extreme when annoyed or angry, but then again, he did explain that his and Luz's past was very hard, to say the least.

Boscha held her index finger in pain, glaring at Hunter angrily as she gritted her teeth. She then huffs, before turning around and finally walks away, along with her three friends following behind, with Amity waving bye at Luz she left with Boscha and the others. Luz waved back at her crush and watched as the four left, before turning to her brother.

"You let her off with a warning?" Luz asked Hunter.

"A very STERN warning, Hermana." Hunter said, crossing his arms. "And she better remember it or else I will make good on my promise."

Turning back to their friends, Hunter and Luz both saw Willow and Gus' jaw-dropped expressions. "What?" The two siblings asked at the same time, tilting their heads in confusion.

"What? What?!" Willow and Gus both shouted.

"Hunter, you just threatened to break off Boscha's finger like a twig and walked away from her!" Willow shouted in shock.

"Yeah, dude! The fact that Boscha was immediately scared of you and backed away from you was so cool!" Gus shouted as well. "And Luz, we haven't seen Amity look so respectful to anyone other than a teacher, and all you two do is just ask us what?"

"Well, it shouldn't be that hard to stand up to a bully. I'm sure someone has done it before right?" Luz asked them. Willow and Gus shook their heads no, mostly because no student in Hexside had ever stood up to Boscha and her antics.

"Well, look at it this way. Amity is someone that respects authority and those with potential, right?" Hunter asks the two friends, who both then nod. "So when Luz challenged Amity and beat her fairly in combat, we've gained a few things in return. One, we have earned her respect. Two, we have also gained a student."

"And three, like we promised you both back at the Covention; the two of us will protect you guys, whether it's bullies or bad people. So now, Amity and her friends will have to be cautious with us around if they want to mess with anyone." Luz finishes

Willow blinked in surprise at this while Gus looked at Hunter and Luz with stars in his eyes.

"Huh. I never thought of it like that." Willow said.

"That's so awesome..." Gus said.

"Plus, I believe it's also because a certain human sibling of mine has a crush on-" Hunter starts teasing with a smirk on his face, before being abruptly cut off, with a hand covering his mouth.

"OKAY! So moving on, what do you guys say to doing the conjuring with us?" Luz shouted very quickly and nervously, her face turning red. Hunter gave his sister an unamused look, narrowing his eyes at her while Willow and Gus were confused by this sudden outburst, but they decided to not press on that as Gus was excited.

"That's I can finally cross this off from my bucket list!" Gus said as he pulled out his list, crossing out "Moonlight Conjuring" on it. "Right under owning a human bucket!"

Gus showed his list to Luz and Hunter, who still had Luz's hand covering his mouth. In the list, it reads...

Grow haunted bread
Lose my baby fangs
Finish digging tunnel under Hexside
Own human bucket
Moonlight conjuring
Get my squamping permit
Be surprised in a giant hollow cake

"You and your human interest never cease to amaze me, Gus." Luz said with a smile before she felt something touch her hand and pulled it back with a shriek.

"EWWWWW! HUNTER! DID YOU JUST LICK MY HAND?!" She exclaimed in disgust, wiping her hand on her shirt. "Was that really necessary?!"

Hunter folded his arms. "Is it necessary that your hand smell like pickles?" He shot back.

"IT DOES NOT!" Luz countered. However, she then smelled her hand to see if she was right, but the smell was more than proof enough as she cringed. "Why does it smell like pickles? I don't even like pickles!"

Willow and Gus both chuckled at their friends' antics, before Hunter turned away. "Anyway, I'll go ask Eda and see if we can have it at her house."

And as if on cue, Eda then stepped in. "Well, speak of her name and she shall come forth." Hunter remarked.

"Come on, you two. Let's go." Eda said, looking at Hunter and Luz.

"Well, did Morton give you any more elixirs?" Luz asked.

"No, he said he was all out. I'm going to have to come back tonight to find some." Eda answered

"I see... Do you need our help-?" Hunter asked, before being abruptly cut off.

"No." Eda waved him off. "Where I'm going, I definitely don't want you two there. It's very dangerous."

Hunter and Luz both held up their hands in surrender.

"Alright, Eda. We get the message. So that means we're watching over the house tonight?" Hunter asked his teacher.

"Yes. I've got many precious and dangerous objects in there." Eda responded.

"Especially me!" King said in a sing song voice before Eda picked him up.

"No, not you. You're coming with me to look out for pickpockets trying to rob me." Eda said to King before she smirked at him. "And so we can pickpocket people ourselves."

"Yay! Pickpocket!" The two cheered.

Hunter and Luz just stared at the two with blank looks on their faces.

"Yeah, we're gonna ignore that bit." Hunter muttered.

"At this point, why am I not surprised?" Luz stated, before clearing her throat to get their attention again.

"So, Eda, since we will have the house to ourselves tonight and you will be at the market with King, we have one question to ask you." Luz said to her.

"And what question is that, my students?" Eda asked the siblings, raising an eyebrow.

"Can we have Gus and Willow over for a Moonlight Conjuring with me and Hunter?" Luz asked.

"No way, you two, there will be no conjuring in my house tonight. No offense, but a conjuring is old-school baby magic, just sitting in a circle and holding hands as you chant something to make whatever item you have come to life." Eda said as she walked away with King.

"Which we're interested in seeing for ourselves." Hunter argued. "And besides Eda, Luz and I, we've handled way more than Hooty."

"Aw, c'mon Eda, let the two have their night. I mean what's the worst that could happen? And besides, don't you remember what you said?" The little demon asked Eda. She then stared at the siblings before she remembered the words she said to Hunter, Luz, and King from the first week she met the two.

Skies of Bonesborough, One Week Earlier

"Teenagers your age shouldn't focus on vigilantism or anything like that. You should be in a nice home, focusing on nothing except going to school, doing homework and chores, making friends, and fun teenage stuff." Eda said to Hunter and Luz, while on Eda's staff, as they viewed the Boiling Isles as it glowed over the sunset.

Outside the Owl House, the Following Day.

Eda just stared up at the sky before closing her eyes as she rose. "And you know what, we should still give it to them."

King, who had a box of treats for his trash slug, Prince Jr., stared at her in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"We should still give them a chance of a normal childhood, even if they say a normal life is not an option." Eda responded.

Now

She then closed her eyes, sighing, before reopening them. "Okay, you guys can do the Moonlight Conjuring at the Owl House. Just... don't cause any problems and try not to break anything.

"Eda, you worry too much. We'll be careful." Hunter assured his mentor, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder as Gus and Willow walked up to them.

"So you two, what did Eda say? Can we have the conjuring tonight?" Willow asked excited.

"Eda said yes, so we're good. We can use the house right after Eda leaves tonight." Luz said to them as Gus and Willow gasped to each other.

"YES! We'll get our conjuring tonight!" Gus said with excitement before looking up to see the moon rising, showing off its skull-like face. "And the moon is rising in just right position! The celestial powers can only align like this around this time of year!"

"I know! I can't wait for tonight! Thank you so much, you two!" Willow said to Hunter and Luz before she looked at Gus. "Moonlight Conjuring! Moonlight Conjuring! Moonlight Conjuring! Moonlight Conjuring!" They chanted as Hunter and Luz both smiled at their friends before they made their goodbyes.

Hours later, night had overtaken the Boiling Isles as Eda was getting ready for her elixir trip to the night market and donned her black cloak to hide herself. Willow and Gus had arrived at the Owl House not too long ago and they were sitting on the couch looking around and enjoying their time there. However, Gus was intrigued with a bucket on his head. It was a bit strange, but Hunter, Willow, and Luz decided not to press on about it.

"Alright, you two, I'm leaving you both in charge of the house tonight while King and I are gone." She said to the siblings as they both sat on the couch. "Make sure nothing breaks and keep Hooty from causing havoc."

"Hey, I don't need a babysitter! I'm a big boy house!" Hooty said in protest as he opened his door and pouted at Eda.

"Ignoring him, we got this Eda. We've handled bigger things much worse than Hooty." Hunter said while Luz stood up from the couch before looking around.

"Hey, where King? You said he was going with you, right?" She asked

"He's right here." Eda said with a smile as she opened her cloak, revealing King in a pink, baby harness, snoring as he slept on it. "You'd be amazed how sleepy he gets when he's weightless. Look."

Eda moved around and showed them King, who was sleeping so peacefully as his arms and legs dangled in the harness.

Luz and Willow both coo at this with smiles on their faces, both leaning closer and playing with his dangling legs. Hunter and Gus just chuckled at this while Hunter took out his phone and took a picture of this moment.

Eda chuckled as she pulled away and turned to the door, walking out of the house with her staff in hand.

"Alright, I'll be going now." Eda said before she stopped and turned back to the kids. "Oh, and you two."

Looking back to Hunter and Luz, Eda gave them the sternest the two siblings had ever seen from her.

"I don't care if you two can handle yourselves, fight crime and dangerous criminals, or if you're just kids, but if ANYTHING goes wrong with my house tonight, then you will two MY WRATH!" She warned, with danger in her voice before she smiled at the siblings. "No pressure, have fun! BYEEEEEE!"

Eda hopped on her staff and let Owlbert fly her away, leaving Willow and Gus waving after them for a few seconds while Hunter and Luz just stood in shock at how intense Eda was to them just now. Even Luz had to let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding as she calmed herself down.

"Oh goodness, that was surprisingly intense!" Luz said, holding her chest.

"Yeah, I didn't even think Eda could be that stern. It's actually scary." Hunter commented.

Willow looked at Hunter and Luz with a raised eyebrow. "Guys... what did Eda mean about fighting crime and dangerous criminals?"

The two archers froze at Willow's question, not meeting her eyes as they went silent. Willow and Gus both looked at each other worried about their friends before Hunter finally answered. "...It's a long story."

"Whoa! Does that include how Luz performed those epic moves and used those weapons at the Convention?" Gus asked.

Hunter and Luz both nodded their heads, not saying a word as they looked down on the floor.

Willow took note of this and approached Hunter and Luz. "If you two are uncomfortable talking about it, then we understand. We can wait when you're both ready." She said.

"We will?" Gus asked.

Willow gave him a stern look, making him nod quickly in agreement. Hunter softly smiled at this, as does Luz.

"Thanks, Willow." Hunter said, before clearing his throat. "So do we have enough people for conjuring?"

"We do! This is so exciting! Our first Moonlight Conjuring!" Willow celebrated with excitement, clasping her hands together.

"Great! So, how exactly does this conjuring work?" Luz asked as she and Hunter both walked over, with Luz standing next to Willow as Hunter stood next to Gus.

"Well, first, we have to find something to animate with. And then, we have to stand in a circle to hold hands." Willow began explaining.

"Can it be any thing or something specific?" Hunter asked.

"It can be just about anything but a conjuring is more memorable if you animate something beautiful and unique." Willow said, glancing at a beautiful potted flower.

She goes for it until Gus pops into her view, with an action figure in his hand. The action figure was a light-skinned man, dressed in a green hood.

"Like this mysterious, green-hooded guy?" He said, holding the action figure in front of him as Gus then taps the figure's chest. Hunter and Luz both noticed the action figure in Gus' hand, with the former stiffening up at the sight of it.

"You have failed this city!" The action figure spoke.

"Gus, where did you get that?" Luz asked slowly and in a low tone, pointing at the action figure.

"Eda sold one to my dad about two years ago from her Human Collectibles stand in Bonesborough, he then gave it to me as a birthday gift." Gus explained before asking "Why do you ask?"

"No reason." Luz said slowly as she and Hunter shared a glance.

"Two years ago. But where did Eda get something like that and how did she get it?" Luz whispered.

"I don't know. But we'll ask her about that later when she comes back." Hunter whispered back. He then sighed, looking down with a solemn look on his face. "I guess that no matter where we go, we still see his face."

Luz frowned at this. She then placed her left hand on his shoulder, comforting her brother. "I miss him too, Hermano."

Hunter looked up and sighed before turning back to the others.

"Gus, I think we should pick something else." Hunter said.

"What? But why?" Gus asked, taken aback by this.

"I think what Hunter is trying to say is that we don't think that's what Willow was talking about, Gus." Luz interjects before Hunter could say anything else. Willow slowly nodded her head in agreement, while Hunter did a so-so gesture.

"Yeah, I was talking about something else." Willow said.

"Oh, come on, guys. Please!" Gus pleaded, whimpering his lip with a sad look in his eyes to the others, as Willow, Luz, and Hunter all looked away, trying so hard not to look at Gus directly.

'Of course there's gonna be a puppy dog pout here in this realm.' Hunter thought as he still looked away.

'Don't give in, Luz. Don't give in!' Luz thought.

Willow then looked back at Gus, feeling a bit guilty as she started to cave in. She then sighed, not wanting to let down her friend down at their first Moonlight Conjuring.

"Okay, why not."

"YES!" Gus shouted in glee.

"Fine!" Hunter groaned, crossing his arms. "But just for the record, I never agreed with this." He quickly said, before Luz patted her brother's shoulder.

"Let's just do this, Hermano." She says.

Luz then approaches Willow, with a smile on her face, playfully punching her shoulder. "You're a great friend, you know that?"

Feeling touched by that compliment, Willow smiled back at her friend "Yeah."

The quartet of friends then moved to the center of the den as Gus put the action in the center, laying it as they sat in a square formation with a few candles light around them.

"Well, based on the conjuring books I've read, in order for this to work, we must speak an incantation and then make a connection with the doll." Willow said as they all held hands and closed their eyes.

"Actually, it's an action figure." Gus corrected.

"Regardless, it's just a toy, Gus! Let's just get this over with!" Hunter said, losing his patience.

Luz patted her brother's shoulder to help him calm down before going back to holding hands.

"And now, to recite the incantation and channel the moon magic into the doll." Willow said, as they finally began the incantation.

"Moonlight, we call, we sing. Moonlight, take this chance. Moonlight, come tie the string. Moonlight, start the dance!" Willow and Gus chanted, but Hunter and Luz both said nothing, as they did not know the words. They just shared a quick glance and shrugged their shoulders as they just let their friends chant.

The group glowed with a layer of moon magic washed over them as the moon rose into the sky and flashed, sending a wave of moon magic over the house as all the candles went out. They all slowly opened their eyes and looked down to the toy, waiting for it to show signs of life but it gave none.

"…Is that all?" Hunter asked, unimpressed.

"Isn't something supposed to happen?" Luz asked.

Gus then approached the action figure to see if anything worked. "Rise and shine, little dude." He said.

Before anyone could say anything else, the house began to shake and rumbling was heard outside as it felt like an earthquake was happening.

"What's going on?!" Luz asked as they all fell to the ground, trying to hang on as items from around the house fell to the ground.

"I don't know! The book never said anything about the group shaking." Willow said in worry.

The house eventually stopped shaking and the rumbling stopped as well. Everyone groaned as they tried to get back up to their feet.

"Is everyone okay?!" Hunter asked, getting back up to his feet as he then went to Willow, extending his hand out to her.

"Yeah, I'm good." Gus said, slowly getting up as he picked up the toy in hand.

"Me too." Luz said as she kicked herself up.

"Y-yeah. I'm fine as well, just a little alarmed." Willow said shyly, taking Hunter's hand while blushing softly. "T-Thanks."

"Anytime." Hunter responded at Willow as he pulled her up, checking her for any injuries.

"Are you sure you're okay? No injuries or anything?" He asked once more, wanting to make sure she was okay.

"N-no! No injuries, I'm fine! I'm a lot stronger than I look!" Willow stuttered, still shaking her head as she continued to blush.

Hunter then nodded his head before turning to Luz and Gus. "So what happened?"

"No idea. Something must be happening outside." Luz said, walking towards the door.

She opens the door, but then stops short of the front step to see they weren't on the ground anymore!

"Whoa!" Luz let out as she stumbled back, leaning down to hold the edge and look down to see two giant bird-like legs as her eyes widened in surprise and shock. She slowly backed herself in the Owl House, closing the door once she was inside.

"Yeah, you guys wanna know something funny?" Luz asked.

"What?" Hunter, Willow, and Gus said at the same time.

"I think we animated Hooty and the house by accident."

"WHAT?!"

"Hehehehe, funny right?" Luz nervously asked as her left eye twitched.

"No! Not funny!" Hunter yelled, rushing to the door and opening it, with Willow and Gus following behind him. He looked over at the door, opening it and nearly falling off the ledge as Hooty's legs began walking, moving the house away from its original spot, but Luz caught him, helping her brother back up as Hooty began to walk away, shutting his door on them.

"Hooty, where the hell are you going?! You need to stop moving, now!" Hunter shouted.

Hooty didn't even respond, nor did he look at Hunter as his eyes were glowing bright white with moon magic.

"By the moon's glorious light, I have risen this night. Hoot hoot." He said in a hypnotic tone.

"It looks like he's in some kind of trance." Gus said in shock.

"Well let's see if we can get him out of it." Hunter said before looking to where they are headed, his eyes widening in alarm. "And FAST!"

Pointing ahead, Hunter showed everyone that Hooty was walking right towards a cliff! Completely unaware of the life threatening danger to him AND them!

Still in a hypnotic trance, Hooty steps through a forest, passing through two trees. The jostling from the house makes Willow and Gus yell as they both lose their balance and nearly fall off.

"NO!" Luz yelled, as she and Hunter quickly grabbed their friends and pulled them back on the ledge.

"How on Earth did this happen?!" Luz demanded, trying to not drop Gus.

"Our magic must've went past the doll and into the house instead" Willow said, holding onto Hunter's hand.

"Action figure!" Gus shouted, for the second time before Hunter and Luz both screamed at him.

"WE ARE NOT GOING TO DEBATE THIS FURTHER, AUGUSTUS!" Gus flinched a bit in fear from the sibling's outbursts, as did Willow.

"Everybody, hold hands again!" Willow called out to them as they all grabbed each other's hands once more to maintain balance as a white glow surrounds them. Hunter looked up and saw the cliff getting closer, gasping in shock before he cried out in desperation!

"Son of a-! Hooty, stop! STOOOPP!"

This time, Hooty obeyed and came to a complete halt right as he was about to step off the cliff, surprising the group as Luz and Hunter pulled their friends up, noticing the glow around them.

"Whoa." They all let out as they released hands, causing the glow to fade.

"What the heck just happened?" Gus asked as they all looked at their hands.

"The moon!" Hunter suddenly said, his eyes widening in realization as the others turned to him as he began explaining. "When we held hands during the ritual, the magic from the moon went past the toy and into the house instead. And once we held hands again, Hooty finally listened to us."

Hunter then looks down at his hands again before holding them out again. "Let's see if that'll work again."

The four friends held hands once more and their bodies were bathed in the glow of moon magic again.

"Will you do the honors, dear sister?" Hunter asked Luz, in a faux British accent.

"But of course, big brother." Luz responded, speaking in the same faux accent, much to the amusement of everyone as they all chuckled.

"Hooty, walk away from the cliff." She says to Hooty, reverting to her normal accent. Hooty listens and obeys, walking backwards into the forest. "It's working, we're controlling Hooty!"

"Hunter, you're right! We're doing this because of the moon magic mixing with the strength of bond." Willow said before realizing what she said. "Or it might just be the moon magic."

"No, no, you're right as well, Willow. I'd say it's a mix of both our bond and the magic. I mean, how else could Hunter and I do this if we don't have magic?" Luz asked.

"She has a point." Hunter concurred, agreeing with his sister.

"This is so awesome! Imagine all the things we could do with this." Gus said as Hunter and Luz both broke the connection, making Hooty stop walking.

"Well, we should probably head back and clean up the house before Eda gets home and blows a gasket." Hunter said as he remembered Eda's warning He was still a bit... surprised by how serious she was with him and his sister.

"But on the other hand, we've got a once in a lifetime joyride in the form of a walking house!" Gus said, with Hunter and Luz both looking up to the moon, seeing it slowly falling with the night.

"Uh, I don't know Gus. I mean, this moon magic won't last forever." Hunter said, hesitating.

"Aw, c'mon Hunter. Just this one time, we can just go around for a bit..." Gus said.

"Yeah, and besides, it could be fun. Plus we can see what other things we can do with this." Willow said with a nervous smile.

Hunter thought about it for a few seconds before eventually sighing. "Well, I guess one ride couldn't hurt."

Gus cheers and Willow smiles, while Luz turns to her brother. "Are you sure, Hunter?" She asks.

"Honestly, no. But riding around just to see what else we can do could be a good thing, so long as we do our best not to draw attention to ourselves." Hunter said as he looked towards Gus and Willow. "But only for a short while, and we stick to the forests, where nobody can see us. Got it?"

Willow and Gus then both nodded their heads.

"We promise, Hunter." Willow said as they held hands again, shrouding themselves in moon magic and piloting Hooty through the forest.

As Willow and Gus both cheered and laughed at the ride, Hunter and Luz began to have this feeling, like they knew they were being watched from the shadows.

"Do you feel it too?" Hunter asked his sister in a whisper, who nods her head in response.

"We're not alone." Luz whispered back.

"I know. Stand ready, but say nothing to Willow and Gus. We don't want to put them in harm's way, or start a panic." Hunter finished as Luz nodded her head once more.

The two of them could sense someone, multiple others in fact were following them through the trees while hiding in the shadows, hot on their trail, and waiting for the perfect moment to strike at them for whatever reason.

"Mmmm." The figure growled out at the sight of the house.

After a while of walking, the quartet of friends eventually came to a halt as they saw someone walking through the forest with a bag under her arm and a bird, which resembled a crow, to her ear, like a phone.

"Hey look, it's Boscha." Willow said as they saw her speak into the crow.

"Looks like she's her way to Amity's place for the Moonlight Conjuring." Gus said as Hunter and Luz both squinted their eyes at the crow.

"Why is she holding a crow to her ear? Is that a phone here?" Hunter rhetorically asked, with Luz just shrugging her shoulders in response.

"Yes, mom, I'm just heading to a Moonlight Conjuring at the Blight's place, Amity is hosting it, and no, you cannot come. Honestly, it's really sad that you would ask that." Boscha said into the crow before letting it go, watching it possibly fly back to her mother before noticing the Owl House behind a hill.

"She sees us. What do we do?" Willow whispered.

Hunter and Luz thought hard before Hunter smirked. "How do you guys feel about a prank?"

Willow, Gus, and Luz grinned as Hunter pulled out something from his pocket, a small device, before turning to Gus. "Gus, is there anyway you can make me a bullhorn?"

"No problem." Gus answers as he and the others break the connection, drawing a spell circle to make a magic construct of a bullhorn in front of Hunter. Hunter then takes a deep breath, activating the small device and clearing his throat, before speaking into the bullhorn.

"You there, young witch." Hunter said through the bullhorn, his voice disguised and deeper as Boscha jumped in surprise. "Why do you tread through my forest at this time of night?"

Luz, Willow, and Gus all stifled their laughs.

"Your forest?" Boscha asked.

"Yes, child, my forest. I have inhabited this forest for DECADES and you dare walk through without paying tribute?!" Hunter shouted.

"Okay, okay! Look, I don't want any trouble! Just tell me what the tribute is and I'll pay for it, I come from a rich family you know, and I have money." Boscha said quickly with her hands up, starting to panic.

"Money? Money is such a trivial thing to me. From someone like you, I require much more!" Hunter said.

"S-S-Someone like me?" Boscha asked with a stutter.

"Yes. I require...your magic and YOUR SOUL!" Hunter roared, while holding hands with his sister and friends. The Owl House stood up, showing its bird legs as it charged towards Boscha.

"AAAAAAAH!" Boscha screamed in terror as she turns around and runs towards Amity's place, not even daring to look back.

Once the girl was far enough away, Hunter turned off his voice modulator and put it away and laughed as everyone else joined him. Luz held her hands up, and got a group high five from Hunter, Gus, and Willow as they all calmed down.

"That was awesome, Hunter! The voice, the intimidation, and the fear that you instilled in her! Amazing! I mean, we've never done a prank before, but now I kinda have the taste for it." Gus said, the thrill from scaring Boscha still in his veins.

"I think we should follow her to Amity's place and show her off this! Maybe that'll show those two who the "Half-A-Witch" is!" Willow suggested, getting excited as Hunter and Luz both looked up at the moon.

The moon looked to be in a deeper position than the last time they both saw it, which meant their time was running out.

"No, I think we've done enough for tonight. Come on, let's head back." Hunter said as he looked at his friends.

"Um... Amity just updated her Penstagram page." Gus said, showing both Hunter and Luz the post.

"'SHOUT OUT TO MY FELLOW WITCHES! #HUMANSANDHALFWITCHESCANBITEIT?!'" Luz read with an emoticon of someone vomiting and a no entry symbol.

Hunter growled at this post, clenching his fists while Luz felt a little hurt that Amity would say that about humans and "half witches", particularly herself and her brother. Luz takes a deep breath and calms down a bit before placing her hand on her brother's shoulder, doing the same as her. They both had nothing to prove to the green haired girl, not since coming to the Isles and after the Covention.

"No, let her be. We've already proven to ourselves that we are the better witches." Luz said as she smiled to her friends and held her hands out to them. "Let's head back, guys."

"Aww! Come on, guys! Please!" Gus begged as he gave both Hunter and Luz his puppy dog pout again, adding a tear from his eye for more effect. "Pwease?"

"Gus, I said that we do this only for a short while, and then we go back." Hunter reminds, not moved by the puppy dog pout while Luz just looked away, gritting her teeth as she remains strong.

"Please, Hunter?" Willow asked as well, putting on her own pout, wanting to show just how strong her magic is to Amity, as well as maybe impress someone else.

"I said no, Willow." Hunter said, firmly, not moved by her pout either.

"Luz?" Willow and Gus asked, both of them turning to Luz with their pouts combined. Luz sighs, turning around as she shook her head.

"Sorry, guys, but Hunter did say that we'd only do this for a short while and then head back, and you two agreed to that. You promised, remember?" Luz reminds them.

Willow and Gus both groaned at this as they looked down, their animated house fun being over.

"Okay." They both said.

"And a quick fact, the puppy eyes don't work on us, at all." Hunter said, much to the surprise of Willow and Gus. "The man who trained us also taught us how to resist and overcome stuff such as that."

Hunter's ears then twitch, hearing a noise as he then turns to know where the sound came from.

'They're still close. And more than before.' He thought, getting serious.

Hunter then turns back to the others. "We need to go, now!" He shouts in alarm.

Gus and Willow jumped from this as Luz remained calm, nodding to her brother as she knew they were close just as Hunter did.

"What? Why?" Willow asked him.

"I'll explain everything later, but right now, we need to turn around, leave, and get back! It's not safe!" Hunter says, extending his hands out as he then grabbed Willow's hand.

Luz then quickly grabbed one of her brother's hands and then grabbed one of Gus' hands.

"Hurry, Gus!" Luz said to him.

"Why? What's going-" Gus began before being cut off.

"NOW, AUGUSTUS!" Hunter and Luz both shouted once more, making Gus and Willow flinch again.

Suddenly, something flew past them and hooked the house, making Hooty fall to his large knees.

"What the hell was that?!" Hunter shouts, with Luz looking at what flew past them, seeing a giant rope coming from somewhere and following its path!

"THERE! LOOK!" Luz shouted, pointing towards the end of the rope to see a giant crossbow was being operated by some very... familiar figures.

"Son of a-! Those are the demon hunters we saw in Bonesborough, they're the ones I sensed while we were roaming through the woods!" Hunter said.

"WHAT?" Willow and Gus cried out at the same time, both worried and confused.

"Hunter and I knew we were being followed after we started taking Hooty for a joyride through the forest, we both sensed someone was watching us in the woods and now we know who it is!" Luz explained, gesturing to the demon hunters.

"And considering they captured us as a result, my best guess is that they want to snag Hooty, kill him, and then sell him to the market, which kinda makes sense in all honesty considering that Hooty is some kind of demon." Hunter finishes.

"Well, we got to think of something fast or else Hooty's not the only one who'll be in huge trouble!" Willow says.

"Yeah!" Gus said as another rope was shot over the house, holding Hooty down some more!

The lead hunter then jumped up onto the ledge in front of the four friends and showed them his serious face.

"Knock, knock." He said, glaring at the four, intimidating Willow and Gus, but Hunter and Luz were unaffected by him, both having faced a lot worse back in the Human Realm.

Hunter then takes a step forward the demon hunter, glaring back at him.

"I don't care why you're here but you are going to leave, NOW!" Hunter said to him.

"Hmph, really? And what are you going to do if we don't? Make us leave?" The leader said, laughing, along with his partners, not buying Hunter's 'tough guy act'.

"Take a look around you, boy! We are bigger and stronger than you because we are demon hunters. You, are but a small brat, along with your friends. So what can you do?" He taunts.

Hunter raised a single eye brow as he glanced at Luz, who walked up next to him.

"Alright then, we'll do this the hard way." Luz says, turning to her brother and nodding at him.

Hunter nods in return before turning back to the demon hunter leader, before striking him in the face with a punch.

"UGH!" The leader grunted, feeling extreme pain from the punch.

Luz then attacked the leader, hitting him with a jumping kick that sent him off the ledge, crashing to the ground!

"UGH!" He grunted in pain, shocking his team as they slowly came out of the shadows.

"Luz, get our weapons." Hunter said.

Luz nodded her head in response as she ran inside to grab their gear, with Willow and Gus watching in bewilderment and awe.

Running inside the Owl House, Luz ran into her and Hunter's room and pulled out her purple trunk and opened it.

She rapidly loaded her crossbow with bolts and holstered them, and then drew out her steel fans as she twirled them before putting them on the holster of her lower legs. Moving to her brother's golden trunk, she opened the crate and filled the quiver with various arrows and picked up Hunter's compound bow.

Luz grabbed both and rushed out of the house, jumping down the steps and landing in a roll before getting back outside.

"Hermano!" Luz calls out, tossing the quiver and bow to him. "Think fast!"

"Thanks." Hunter said, catching his bow and quiver. He then straped the quiver on his back.

"Gus, Willow. Get inside the Owl House now." Luz ordered.

"What?! But what about you two?!" Willow asked

"Don't worry about us! We'll be okay." Hunter said in assurance.

"But... Hunter-" Gus tried but is cut off once more.

"Go, now! We'll be there as quickly as possible." Luz said.

Willow and Gus didn't want to leave their friends behind alone, but they had to listen to them. So they ran back into the Owl House, closing the door behind them as Luz and Hunter turned back to face their adversaries

Drawing her steel fans, Luz then threw the fans at the two ropes, cutting them while Hunter pulled out an explosive arrow, firing at the demon hunters' giant crossbow. The nomad who manned the crossbow jumped away as the explosive arrow detonated, destroying the giant crossbow.

"Our crossbow!" A female demon hunter screamed.

'Bigger doesn't always mean better.' Luz thought with a grin, as the steel fans came back to her. She caught them before closing the blades and holstering them away. Hunter then curled his bow and pocketed it away as well.

Rushing back in the Owl House, Hunter and Luz then roughly grabbed their friends' hands and turned to Hooty.

"Hooty, go!" Hunter orders, as Hooty obeyed, turning around in a haste and escaping as quickly as possible.

Hooty's eyes flashed brightly as he stood up, shaking the ground as the demon hunters watched.

"Don't let them escape!" The leader shouted, ordering his companions as they all charged the walking Owl House.

As Hooty ran through a town called the Night Market, he did not notice where he was stepping as he suddenly then crushed a purple, market stand with 3 people near it. Luckily, they ducked out of the way to avoid any injuries.

"SORRY!" Hunter yells as Hooty keeps running through the Night Market.

"What the... Was that Hunter and Luz? And my HOUSE?!" Eda questioned in shock before seeing several figures run past her, causing her to gasp as she recognized them. "Are those demon hunters?!"

"Why are demon hunters after Hunter and Luz?!" King asked in shock as the 3rd person got up from the ground and looked at the stand, his stand.

"My stand...! MY STAND!" The 3rd person screamed in terror as he grabbed his head. This person is a small pig-like demon with a curly pigtail with a red barbed tip, huge ears with a pig nose and two small protruding tusks wearing glasses with an orchid vest and lilac bow added on to a white dress shirt.

"Forget your stand, Tibbles! My apprentices and their friends and my house are being hunted!" Eda said to him as she gazed down, finding a bottle of what she came to find on the ground, a bottle of elixir.

"And that being said, I finally got what I came here for." She said, picking up her elixir and King up before she started running, chugging the elixir as the pig shouted to her.

"Come back here! You cannot leave, I forbid it!" The pig demon, whose name is Tibbles, shouted to Eda as she and King went after the demon hunters.

Hunter and Luz both went to the rear of the house, looking out the bay window and seeing the demon hunters were still following them! Jumping from building to building or tree to tree to catch them!

"Damn it! They're still after us!" Luz says, glaring at the demon hunters.

"Then let's get them off our tails." Hunter said, notching an arrow in his bow. Opening the back door, he and Luz both step out to face the hunters, who are close to nearing up on them. Hunter aimed his bow and arrow at the hunters while Luz aimed her crossbow.

"Ready." Hunter said as they took breathes to calm themselves.

"Aim." Luz said as they both aimed for a demon hunter each.

"Fire!"

Hunter let go of the bowstring and fired the arrow at a hunter. The arrow then exploded into a bright light, blinding the hunter as he tumbled to the ground below, screaming.

Luz pulled the trigger in her crossbow and fired a bolt hit another demon hunter in the chest, exploding into a purple, foam orb and causing him to be trapped as he fell to the ground, the foam muffling the hunter's screams.

"Woah. That's polydimethylsiloxane. A putty bolt?" Hunter asked, turning to his sister.

"A putty bolt." Luz responded.

"Nice!" Hunter fist-bumps his sister before refocusing themselves at the main task at hand. He drew and fired another arrow, exploding to reveal a bolo as it ties up two demon hunters at once, knocking them to the ground.

Luz then shoots another bolt at the shoulder of another hunter, this bolt emits an electrical discharge, shocking him as he then collapses and falls to the ground.

The lead demon hunter then growls at the sight of his fallen comrades before turning his remaining fellow hunters.

"Scatter and stay out of sight! They can't shoot us if they can see us!" He shouts at them.

The two remaining hunters nod at their leader before scattering to the woods in separate directions.

"They're getting smarter! They're separating into the woods!" Hunter said to Luz. "Spread out! I'll take the left side, you take the right side!"

Luz nodded in response. The two then split up and ran along the stone edge of the house.

On the right side, Luz pulled out her crossbow pistol and aimed at the trees, taking a deep breath and calming herself as she looked over the terrain.

'Come on, where are you?' Luz thought, keeping her calm and focus on the tree for anything NOT green or brown.

She then hears a rustling in trees, and rapidly turns around to see who it was, aiming but there was no one there.

Luz narrowed her eyes in suspicion and is about to continue to walk and look over the terrain, but then she stops, feeling someone behind her as she heard a certain HUMMING instead of the sound of Hooty stomping. The humming of a spell circle, and the person who drew that spell circle is right behind her!

"If you're planning to attack me from behind, I wouldn't!" Luz warned, slowly loading a bolt to take them down.

The hunter does not listen as he then fires his spell, making Luz duck and slide back!

"Ugh!" He grunts before Luz turned around and kicked him in the chin!

The hunter staggers back from kick before Luz then shoots a non-lethal bolt, a blunted bolt, at the hunter's head, knocking him both off the ledge and out cold.

"Hermano! The right side's clear! One hunter down, only two more to go!" Luz shouts to her brother.

"Got it!" Hunter responds back, still aiming and holding an arrow ready on his side of the house. Then, his ears twitch once more as he then hears a sound, only this time it was the sound of a blade being brandished and charging footsteps.

Then, his ears twitched once more as he then hears a sound from behind, only this time it was the sound of blades being brandished and charging footsteps.

Standing still, Hunter sidestepped, dodging an attack from a demon hunter. He then fired the arrow, which the demon hunter deflected in time with his knives. He then charges once more, slashing his knives at Hunter. The young archer dodges and transforms his bow into a bostaff, blocking the slashes of both knives.

"Damn, scum!" The demon hunter shouted at him, continuing to attack.

"Says a scumbag who's trying to kill a 16 year old teenager!" Hunter retorted.

The demon hunter growled and kept swinging his knives, becoming wild and uncoordinated as Hunter blocked and analyzed his attack pattern.

'Left, right, up, left, left, left, right.' Hunter thought, before finding a weak point. 'There!'

Hunter then kicked the demon hunter in the abdomen, staggering him back a bit.

"Ugh!" The demon hunter grunts before attacking again.

Hunter blocked and deflected his attacks again before hitting him in the chin, making the demon hunter stumble back. He then fired another arrow, but the demon hunter caught it in time with his hand.

"Ha! Nice try, boy! " The demon hunter laughs with a smirk. "Any last words?"

"Only two. Sleep tight." Hunter said with a smile as the arrow head opens up. The demon hunter then loses his smirk as a purple mist is sprayed, making the demon hunter stumble back and cough before feeling sleepy.

He tries to strike Hunter, but his movements were all groggy, and almost falls off the ledge had Hunter not caught him by the arm and pulled him back. Hunter then placed the demon hunter down on the ground of the ledge.

"Can't have you dying, even if you were trying to kill us." Hunter said, being nice and setting him against the house. He looks at the hunter's sword and picks it up, he inspects it before sheathing it away in the scabbard and placing it on his back.

He then walks off, meeting Luz outside the door, his sister facing Hooty's entranced appearance at the moment.

"You know, Hooty seems oddly peaceful when like this, to be frank." Luz remarked.

"Yeah, he kinda does." Hunter said, agreeing with his sister as he looks at Hooty.

He then turned to Luz. "Alright I dealt with the last demon hunter so the left side's clear. Now all that's left is to find the leader!"

"Now that's progress!" Luz said, loading up another arrow bolt onto her crossbow. "But where is the leader?"

"I don't know, but we have to-"

Suddenly, they heard several screams inside the house.

"NO! LET US GO!" Willow shrieked loudly

"STOP! PLEASE!" Gus yelled, pleading.

"Willow and Gus!" Luz shouted in worry, her eyes widening in realization. "He's in the house!"

Hunter and Luz then stormed into the house to see Willow and Gus held in a chokehold by the lead demon hunter, his sword by their necks.

"Take one more step and they both die!" The leader shouted, glaring at Luz and Hunter.

"Let them go!" Luz shouted, aiming her crossbow at him.

"Do it! Let the two go now!" Hunter snarled, aiming his bow and arrow at him as well.

"We have hunted and captured the most dangerous demons, faced various dangers, and dealt far worse than this! And yet, my partners have been bested by two teenagers, by a human and a witch! And that is in an indignity I cannot stand!" The lead hunter yelled, nearing his sword closer to both Willow and Gus' necks, the two close their eyes as they both whimpered in fear.

Seeing no other choice, Hunter then fired the arrow, hitting the lead hunter's shoulder, while Luz shot a crossbow bolt at the hunter's hand, both hits forcing him to drop the sword and let go of Willow and Gus. The two rushed to both their friends, with Willow rushing to Hunter as Gus runs to Luz.

The lead hunter growled and went to pick up his sword but Hunter lunged forward, tackling him to the ground where he dropped his sword. Hunter kept him pinned down as he then turned to Luz, Willow, and Gus.

"Go!" He barked. Luz nodded in understanding and grabs Willow and Gus' arms.

"Come on, guys!" She shouted, dragging them upstairs.

The lead hunter then pushed Hunter off him, and they both got back up at the same time. The lead hunter summoned his sword by drawing a spell circle, with the sword flying to his hands, as Hunter drew out the sword from his back, dropping his bow on the floor in the process.

"Let's see how good you are with that sword, boy." The lead hunter snarled. The two then charged and clashed their swords.

From upstairs, in Hunter and Luz's room, the trio could hear the sounds of metal clashing below. Luz aims her crossbow at the door as Willow and Gus hold each other. Willow gets up and tries to go to the door, but Luz grabs her arm, stopping the young plant witch in her tracks.

"No, Willow, don't!" Luz silently warned her friend.

"But Hunter, he's still out there" Willow said, worried for Hunter.

And he'll be fine. He was trained by the same man as I was, and you've seen what we can do." Luz said, pulling Willow back and forcing her to sit back down.

"He'll be okay, I know it." Luz assured Willow, who still has a worried look on her face.

Back downstairs, Hunter and the lead hunter continued to clash their swords. The leader threw strong slashes, making Hunter block and deflect them as he stood his then clashed their swords in a deadlock, the lead hunter beginning to use his strength to push his blade as Hunter struggles to push back.

"Grrrr. I gotta admit, kid. You're not that bad! You'd make a good demon hunter." The leader said with strain.

"Well, consider that offer passed. I prefer to save lives, help and protect the innocent, and fight the scum that dare threaten to harm them! Scum like you!" Hunter growled, straining as well.

"Then it seems that you're a lost cause, because "saving" lives can only get you so far!" The demon hunter said as he pushed Hunter back, slashing at him more ferociously and quickly! Hunter was better in skill but the demon hunter was superior in strength, slowly overpowering Hunter as he was being pushed back into the kitchen.

The lead hunter then disarmed Hunter of the sword and caught it with his other hand. The lead hunter begins dual wielding through two swords, but Hunter evades the slashes, back-stepping all the way to the kitchen door. He is about to evade another attack, but stops to see he was near the ledge of the house.

"You've put up a good fight, boy, but it was all for nothing! When I'm done with you, I am going to take this house, and then I'm going to make a fortune off of it!" The lead hunter shouted.

He then grabbed Hunter by the neck and pulled him back into the house, choke-slamming the witch on the kitchen table. The lead hunter wrapped his hands around Hunter's throat, strangling him as the young witch grunted, struggling to breathe while trying to break free of the lead hunter's grip on his neck but he felt unconsciousness coming to him as he sees his view becoming black, due to lack of oxygen.

"But before I get to that, I'll find your sister and your friends. And I'll deal with them, like how I am going to deal with you!" The lead hunter snarled into his ear.

That was a big mistake! Hearing that, Hunter's eyes then awake, only his look is this time flaring... with anger and rage!

"Stay away from them!" Hunter growled!

Hunter then headbutted the lead hunter in the nose hole in a fierce blow, making him scream in pain as he let go of the boy and held his nose in pain. Hunter gasps for air as he catches his breath before using both feet, kicking the lead hunter off him!

The lead hunter leader crashed onto the coffee table, breaking it, as Hunter slowly got up, breathing deeply to catch his breath while softly holding his neck. The lead hunter groans in pain, holding his broken nose, as he looks up at Hunter and growls in rage.

"Boy, you are going to pay for that!" He shouted as he slowly stood up, picking up the swords as he did.

"No. YOU are going to pay." Hunter said, cracking his knuckles. "Threaten them, and you answer to me."

The demon hunter spun his swords and charged at Hunter, ready to skewer him with his blades! But Hunter evades his attacks, this time at a more rapid pace, as he waits to find his opening and disarm him of the sword. At first, he was held back but now that the lead hunter revealed his true colors, after threatening his sister and his friends, Hunter sees that the lead hunter will not stop until he kills them!

The lead hunter swung his swords, but Hunter dodged in time before grabbing his left arm. He then twists the lead hunter's arm, breaking his wrist.

The lead hunter yelled in pain as he dropped his sword, with Hunter flipping him to the ground. His face slammed into the floor, his nose hole breaking again, with blood dripping as Hunter restrained his other arm to drop the other sword.

"You came after us. You came after me, my sister, and my friends! We warned you to leave! We both gave you one chance to walk away and leave us alone, yet you and your people followed and endangered us!" He snarled, restraining the lead hunter in a chokehold.

"AND... you threatened to kill my friends and my sister, right while attempting to KILL ME!"

The lead hunter grunted, unable to fight the chokehold that gripped his neck. Even with his arms strained, the lead hunter tried to draw a spell circle but Hunter was quick and stomped on his hand!

"AAAH!" The lead hunter screamed in pain.

"You tried to kill me, my sister, and kill my friends, and that is something I can't let you get away with." Hunter said, his hold on the lead hunter becoming more firm.

"P-Please! Let me go! You don't have to do this!" The lead hunter pleaded, grunting out his words as he struggled to breathe.

"Yes, I do. I'm truly sorry, but you gave me no other choice." Hunter said, regret in his voice. "No one threatens my friends, or my sister."

And with that, Hunter SNAPS the lead hunter's neck roughly with a loud crack being heard. The lead hunter was no more!

He then let go of the lifeless body as he fell to his knees, breathing hard and rapidly as his hands trembled. Hunter then inhaled a deep breath before exhaling, while clenching his fists hard. He repeated this process for two more times until finally relaxing and regaining his senses.

"I'm sorry, but it had to be done. Just like you taught us, Oliver." Hunter whispered to himself, slowly standing up.

Hunter then grabbed the robe of the dead demon man and carried him to the front door, opening it and jumping off the house with the dead body. Landing on his feet in the forest, Hunter knelt as he slowly placed the lead hunter's dead body down by a tree, closing his eyes with his hand.

Hunter turned to see the Owl House finally returning to its rightful place, as Hooty's eyes return to normal but feeling a little drowsy from his trance.

In the Owl House, Luz opened the door to her room as she aimed her crossbow for any sign of more demon hunters. She turns her head and sees no one, but doesn't drop her guard for a moment.

She then walked down the staircase, into the living room, with Willow and Gus following behind her. Once in the living room, Luz, Willow, and Gus look around the house to see that it was a mess, but Willow sees Hunter's compound bow on the ground. She picks it up, before it automatically curls by itself in her hand.

"Guys, where's Hunter?" Willow asked.

"The back door is open." Gus said, pointing to the back door. "He must've gone out there."

"Here. I'm right here."

Willow, Luz, and Gus turned to see Hunter by the door, who made his way inside. They all sighed in relief, as Luz folded her crossbow and holstered it away.

Willow rushed to Hunter and engulfed him in a hug, which surprised him greatly.

"Thank Titan you're okay, Hunter!" She said, smiling into his shoulder.

Hunter blushed softly, his ears turning red, as he slowly returned the hug with one arm.

"I'm okay, Willow." He assured Willow.

Willow pulled away from Hunter and handed him his curled bow.

"Here! Y-You dropped this." Willow stuttered, looking away as she blushed as well.

"Thanks." Hunter says, taking the curled bow and putting it away.

"What happened to the leader?" Gus asked, before pointing to the light bruise on his neck. "And what happened to you?"

"It's an injury. I was able to take down the lead hunter, but I had to do it out of the house right before Hooty sat down. I didn't want to damage the house any further," Hunter said, lying a little but they couldn't tell.

"Or put any of you three further in harm's way." He mumbles the last part to himself.

Luz, however, could hear her brother's mumble.

"Willow? Is everything okay?" Hunter asks Willow, who has a crestfallen expression on her face as she looks down on the ground. Luz and Gus go to both Hunter and Willow.

"I'm so sorry, you two. This is all my fault, I shouldn't have begged you both to let us go to Amity's. If I didn't, then we wouldn't have been in this situation and you two wouldn't have to fight those hunters." Willow said, while adjusting her glasses.

"Willow, this wasn't your fault." Gus said to her.

"Yes, it is." Willow said to him.

"No, it isn't, Willow. Those guys saw us earlier at Bonesborough, so they already had a bone to pick with us." Luz said to her.

"Even so, you two knew that there was someone watching us, but I was pushing you both because I wanted to show off Amity and her friends." Willow said

"Willow, it's okay. We don't blame you for this, no one does." Hunter assured his friend. "But why did you truly want to go to Amity's place? Because I know it was more than just wanting to show off to Amity."

Willow looked to her friends a bit, showing them her guilt and sadness.

"The reason I wanted to show off to Amity is because I thought if I did, then we could've been friends again." Willow admitted, much to the surprise and disbelief of Hunter and Luz.

"You and Willow were friends?" Hunter asked in surprise.

"Yeah, they were." Gus said, knowing this all too well.

"Well...that explains why you wanted to head to Blight Manor." Luz said as she and Hunter glanced at each other.

"We were the best of friends when we were kids. We did sleepovers, we went to swim lessons, we did everything together." Willow explained.

"So, what happened that made you both stop being friends?" Hunter inquired.

"We got our magic, but Amity had more control with her magic while mine was nonexistent. Then one day, she stopped hanging out with me and being my friend as well." Willow sniffled, almost about to cry. "Hence why she and Boscha both call me "Half-a-Witch Willow". I'm really sorry about this, I just wanted to show her that I can be just as powerful as her."

Hunter and Luz both stared at Willow in silence as they both understood. Hunter then placed his hand on Willow's shoulder.

"Willow, whatever happened between you two, it's not your fault." Hunter said to her. "Sure, we may have animated an entire house which lured demon hunters as a result, but it shows that Luz is right, we proved that we are better witches.

Willow looked up, as Luz spoke. "He's right, Willow! I mean, you helped in animating an ENTIRE HOUSE to life! Have you ever seen anyone do that before here in the Isles?"

"Yeah, and besides, you're also very great with plant magic!" Gus said. "You could kick anyone's butt with your plant skills!

Of course, Willow. You're not half-a-witch, your potential... just hasn't been realized yet." Hunter said, letting go of Willow's shoulder. "But that being said, you are more than a witch, you're an amazing witch."

"No, she's an ULTIMATE witch!" Luz said with glee.

"Ultimate Witch Willow!" Gus cheered.

"Ultimate Witch Willow! Ultimate Witch Willow!" Luz chanted, before Hunter and Gus joined her. "Ultimate Witch Willow!" Willow smiles, laughing while wiping her eyes of tears. This makes her feel so much better and so much happier than before.

"Thank you, guys. That really means a lot." Willow says, as she then pulls the three friends in a hug. "I'm glad to have you three as my friends."

The three friends hugged her back, and stood still for a moment like that, while Hunter had a frown on his face once more as they were in the hug. How would his friends react to what he did to the lead hunter. Would they understand why he did it, or would they resent him for it if they ever found out?

Hunter shook his head off those questions, for now at least.

He then clears his throat "Come on. Let's clean this place before-"

SLAM!

The door was slammed as everyone looked to see Eda and King were back, the former having a stern look on her face while the later looked annoyed as he wore a green baby sailor suit.

"What the hell happened to you both tonight?" Hunter asked both Eda and King, while Luz, Willow, and Gus had to stifle their laughs as they glanced at King.

"That's irrelevant because you are all in BIG trouble." Eda said, walking to them. "Even if you did have permission for this thing, you were supposed to animate a doll, NOT my whole house!"

"Well, that's..." Luz nervously began before being cut off.

"Fair point but in our defense, we didn't mean to animate the house." Hunter said.

"Regardless, you did it, and attracted the demon hunters as a result!" Eda shouted, looking down at Hunter and Luz

Before Hunter or Luz could say anything this time, Willow and Gus stepped in front of their friends with their arms out.

"Willow, Gus, what are you two doing?" Luz asked.

"Eda, please don't yell at them! It wasn't their fault that all of this happened tonight! Please, don't punish them both!" Willow said.

"And if you try, you're gonna have to go through us first!" Gus shouted, holding his arms out.

"Guys, we appreciate the effort, but you don't have to do this." Hunter whispers to Willow, as she turns to him and Luz.

"Yes we do. Friends stick together through thick and thin, don't they?" Willow said with a soft smile.

Luz smiles back at Willow, while Hunter softly blushes as he lets out a small smile.

"Regardless of whose fault it is, you all are gonna be paying for it." Eda said, gesturing to the messy house before drawing a spell circle to summon... cleaning supplies.

"By cleaning up this mess and the rest of the house! Top to bottom." She finished.

"Eh, okay that's fair." Hunter said with a shrug.

Eda walked past them before stopping and looking back at the kids.

"And also... that was awesome! So bring me in for next year's conjuring." She said, smiling at the four friends. "Come on, kids, the house ain't gonna clean itself. And I mean it literally."

The four of them glanced at each other before laughing a bit, moving around the house to clean up what they could.

Eda then flopped at the couch with King, who had removed the baby sailor suit, as they relaxed themselves after a hectic evening at the Night Market.

"You know, it's hard to believe that those four brought an entire house to life." King said, amazed at what Hunter, Luz, and their friends did.

"You're telling me." Eda responded, as she looks at the four friends in surprise. "That kind of magic takes years of training and a lot of power."

Already laying down on the couch, Eda turns her head to see Gus' action figure. She draws a spell circle and and brings it over to her hands.

She looks closer at the action figure and recognized it, looking surprised as she pushed the button to make it speak.

"You have failed this city!" The action figure spoke.

Eda and King both looked on with wide eyes.

"You don't think that's him, right? The one who Hunter and Luz both spoke about, right?" King asked, whispering as he and Eda both took a quick glance at Hunter and Luz.

"I think so, King. But there's only one way to know." Eda responded, whispering as well.

"So, Willow, how was your first conjuring night?" Hunter asked, who was putting the books back in their place.

"While a bit chaotic and abrupt due to the demon hunters, it was honestly very fun and memorable." Willow responded, turning to face her friends with a smile as she sprayed a cabinet before wiping it.

"Thanks for this you guys, and Hunter, Luz, thank you both for saving us from those hunters." She thanked Hunter and Luz.

"You're welcome, Willow. Remember, always be confident with yourself and don't listen to what people say or think of you." Luz said, who swept the floor with a broom. "It's about what you do that truly matters."

"And like I said before, Willow, you're not a half-a-witch, your true potential just hasn't been realized yet. That being said, you truly are an amazing witch and an ultimate witch to us, to me." Hunter said as well.

Willow smiled sincerely as she looked at both of her friends, but felt her heart racing as she looked at Hunter, the two sharing blushy smiles.

"Hunter, Luz! Can you two come here for a second? I need to talk to you both about something, then you can go back to cleaning." Eda called.

Hunter and Luz then looked at each other, before shrugging and heading towards Eda.

"What's wrong, Eda?" Luz asked.

"Nothing but I'm curious." Eda said, gesturing to the Hood action figure. "Does this action figure resemble a connection to you both?"

Hunter and Luz both glanced at the figure before glancing at each other, having a silent conversation before nodding to Eda.

"Yes, it does. It's based on the man who took us in and trained us." Hunter said to Eda, who frowned.

"We've been meaning to ask you, where did you get this? Because Gus told us that you gave it to his father, who brought it as a birthday gift for him." Luz asked.

"I found it when I went to the human world for my usual garbage to sell." Eda said with a shrug.

"When was that exactly?" Hunter asked.

"Sometime two years ago, why?" Eda responded, before remembering. "Oh."

"Yeah..." Hunter mumbled, looking down on the floor as a solemn look on his face appeared once more.

Eda sighed, respectively placing her hands on Hunter and Luz's shoulders, rubbing comfortingly. "You two know you can talk to me about this anytime, right?"

"We know, but it's…..not exactly easy with this sort of thing." Hunter said.

A silent moment passed them before Luz spoke up.

"But we'll manage, as we always have. Plus, Oliver wouldn't have wanted us to be saddened by his passing every day." She then turned to Hunter. "Right, Hermano?"

Hunter turned to Luz and gave her a nod, slowly smiling to her as she.

"Right, Hermana." He said.

Eda smiled at this, before ruffling both Hunter and Luz's hair, the two siblings smiled at the motherly gesture.

"Alright. you two. Get back to cleaning." She said, still smiling.

Hunter and Luz then went back to Willow and Gus and continued cleaning beside them. Hunter picked up some more stuff on the floor while Luz continued sweeping.

"You know, I wonder how Amity's Conjuring went." Luz says.

Meanwhile at Blight Manor, the group of witches were GREATLY disappointed in their conjuring as they looked in disappointment at the doll they couldn't bring to life.

"So we couldn't bring a stupid doll to life, so what?" Boscha said to her group. "Somethings in life are a lot more important than this."

"Yeah." Skara said with a nod, as she and the others summoned out their scrolls.

"Penstagram!" They all announced, save for one mint-haired witch.

Amity sat on the windowsill, looking out to the horizon as she gazed at the morning sunrise. She was bitter and disappointed in the group, but mostly in herself. However, she could help but wonder about Luz, Hunter, Willow, and Gus.

'I wonder how the Conjuring went for them. Maybe theirs was better than ours. ' She thought.

Boscha then gasps loudly, gaining Amity's attention.

"NO WAY!" Boscha shouted in shock.

"What? What is it, Boscha?" Amelia, a witch with short, light green hair, asked as she, Skara and Cat looked up to their friend.

"Check this out! It's all over Penstagram! No, the entire Boiling Isles!" Boscha said as Amity came over to see this.

Boscha then showed everyone her Penstagram feed, and what they saw shocked them to the core! It was full of photos of Hunter, Luz, Willow, and Gus riding around in a walking house! Along with more photos and videos of Hunter and Luz fighting the demon hunters!

This made Amity drop her jaw in shock as her friend group gasped in shock, dropping their own scrolls in the process.

"Woah!" They all exclaimed at the same time.
