The night was eerily quiet in this part of Japan. The street lamps shone brightly on the road and pavements. It was almost as if the entire road was deserted as not a single vehicle passed by.

It was not entirely deserted though. A man in his mid-twenties trudged on the pavement. His entire body was quivering from the cold, throbbing from the injury he sustained from the bruise on his head. His arm bled as blood slowly dripped on the pavement.

Sighing, he plopped on a bench while breathing heavily. He winced in pain before turning to face his surroundings. There was no one around.

"Aren't you going to a hospital to get treated?" A voice asked startling the man.

"Is that you Catherine? Is that you?" He asked in disbelief. The figure that was formerly in the shadows appeared under the light.

A girl not older than twenty walked towards the man with a frown displayed on her face. Her curly brown hair was packed into a ponytail with bangs in the front. Her hazel brown eyes complimented her almond skin. There was nothing much in her appearance.

"You know it would have been better if we just stayed in America." She stated much to the dismay of the older man.

"Is that all you want to say after abandoning me? Not even caring about my injuries." He huffed trying to not think so much about what happened that led to his current state.

Catherine clicked her tongue and then reached for her purse. She neared the man wrapping the cloth around his bleeding arm to prevent more blood loss.

"Thank you." He replied gruffly." It didn't work again." Catherine scoffed in anger.

" I told you this was an entire waste of time." She said frantically waving her hands in the air. "But you didn't listen. What do we do now?" Despite her anger, she was worried about the state of the man.

"Keep trying. We must. I'll try one more time." He responded facing her.

"No! No! No! If you do. Who knows what else will happen?" She argued. He placed a hand on her head patting it gently.

"Trust me. I know what I am doing." The girl flushed with a light shade of red. The man smiled at her reaction before dropping his hand much to the disappointment of the girl.

"Alright. I trust you." She finally said. The man stood on his two feet taking a deep breath. Catherine stood behind the man.

He focused on making a single point with a finger. He concentrated more urging himself that he could do it.

Nothing happened. That was what he thought.

All of a sudden, a spatial portal opened. It shone brightly with white but was void.

"You did it Lucas!" Catherine squealed in delight lunging at Lucas who had a problem trying not to fall. He was glad he finally did it. They can go home now.

"Yeah, we can go home now." He smiled shortly. "Let's go now. After you." She nodded entering into the portal. She waited for him as he was about to enter.

"Not so fast Mr Spatial." Lucas was roughly tackled to the ground. He turned to see Catherine screaming his name through the portal as it was slowly vanishing.

.

With the strength he had left, he shoved the person off him attempting to reach the portal before it disappeared.

"Catherine!" He yelled running as fast as he could to reach the girl.

Again, he was tackled to the ground. He felt more weight on his body as he struggled to get free. If only he could move his other arm properly but alas he was injured. He looked again at the portal to see the girl shouting his name with teary eyes. He felt vulnerable at this point. There was nothing he could do at this point. He glanced one last time at the vanishing portal with pain in his eyes. The portal finally vanished without a trace in sight.

"Wow! Look at the blood!" Toga said gleefully kneeling next to Lucas. Her friend who was still cloned was on top of the injured man.

"Looks like you won't be going anywhere anytime soon," Dabi said approaching the two alongside his other alliances.

"Should I get off him? He doesn't seem to be struggling anymore." Twice started facing Shigaraki.

"We can't have him creating more portals. He might be faking it." Spinner leaned next to a street lamp.

Twice nodded in agreement." Yes! No! You are right. I will stay on him then."

"Yipee! I get to see more blood." Toga squealed in delight.

Lucas flinched at the girl's statement. He stole a glance at each of their faces recognizing them from earlier. He looked at the man who had a hand placed on his face. He was looking in another direction but something told him that he was paying attention to him.

"Do it...Mister." Shigaraki ordered Mr. Compress.

"Alright." Mr. Compress exhaled. Using his quirk, he trapped Lucas inside. He walked towards his capture device picking it up and tossing it to the man with blue hair.

Lucas concluded in a matter of seconds that he had been captured by the League of Villains.
