Plot
Bonesaw McGraw defeats Peter Parker / Human Spider during the cage match.[a] After the match, Bonesaw attacks Peter with a steel chair and then begins to respect him for his moves, which Peter tells Bonesaw as "lucky stunts". The two head backstage, where Bonesaw is offered a paycheck while Peter isn't, due to his loss and not being a contracted wrestler. After the two leave, a thief, Dennis Carradine, attempts to rob their employer of his money, but fails. During a confrontation with Carradine, where a cowardice Bonesaw gives the money to him, Peter uses his webs to disarm Carradine of his gun, knocking him out. Bonesaw bodyslams Carradine and turns him into the police. Bonesaw takes the $3,000 his employer and gives it to Peter as a reward for saving his life from Carradine. Outside, he witnesses Carradine's partner-in-crime, Flint Marko, attempting to shoot Peter's Uncle Ben. He puts his mask back on and after checking on Ben, chases Marko, who uses Ben's car to escape. Peter chases him to a nearby warehouse, where he knocks him out and leaves him for the police. Peter returns home and lies to Ben and Aunt May, telling them that he bet on the match with Bonesaw, and the two are disappointed. He notices that a tow truck brought back Ben's damaged car, and Peter gives a grateful Ben the $3,000 as he tells him he is proud of him. The next morning, Peter finishes the finishing touches on his Spider-Man costume as Ben walks in, with Ben revealing he knows Peter is Spider-Man when the latter denies it by saying "Peter, with great power comes great responsibility", and the two shake hands as Peter leaves to stop his first crime.
