On with the Madness...

Chapter 1

A childish but slightly hollow voice echoed out of the speaker. "It all started with a bully and a wish. Well the truth is it started with a Doctor So lazy that he diagnosed a child as quirkless and then proceeded to send that to all the local agencies…without doing all the proper tests. He only x-rayed my foot and saw the extra toe joint. Did you know even Endeavor has an extra toe joint. Gee what a wonderful thing to know… after I took the bullies advice. Hmmm… oh yeah the bully. Used to be the one person I looked up to as a kid, that wasn't a hero. But then he heard I was quirkless and years of friendship just blew away. I should have known he was a jerk but… I was an odd ball even back then."

The detective sighed as he sipped his coffee and glanced at the Underground hero sitting beside him. They knew it would be a long night but they did ask for the information.

The speaker started again. "Now as time went on the schools allowed the bullying and even encouraged it. So when I was at the end of my rope… well the old pal of mine said the magic words. He said 'if I was lucky enough, I could get a quirk. After taking a swan dive off the roof and being reincarnated.' Yup, good old Kaachan gave the best advice when I really needed it. But I figured I would hold off on that option. Then later that same day I met All Might as he saved me from a sludge villain. Long story short. Lots of omissions. We had a chat on a very tall roof where he told me. Get this… All Might, the symbol of Peace, the hope of all children… told me…that I can't be a hero without a quirk. He did not even think about it when I asked, he just dropped the bomb then headed off."

The detective and hero looked shocked at that and decided they needed to have a long talk with All Might.

"So while my wonderful delusional world of hope and dreams was shattering around me like a bull villian in a glass ware shop…I remembered Kaachan's advice…and simply walked off the side of that roof. Two days later I woke up in a cold box with a lot of dust around me and when I started banging on the box it was opened from the bottom. Yup, you guessed it. I was in the morgue. Even better was learning that all that dust was my flesh and organs and such. Not sure how I kept my hair but It gives me character. Anyway after the coroner woke up from the floor he explained that I had died. Well at least everything indicated I was dead but you see how that turned out."

The detective looked confused. "Everything you have said was the truth. My Quirk can tell if you're lying or not. But I don't understand why you turned into a vigilante?"

"Oh, that? Yeah well if I can't be a hero without a quirk then I can be a vigilante without a body. Did I not say all my organs are dust. Head is as hollow as a drum. So logic is rather scarce up here." He knocked on his skull. "Say, Eraserhead, can you introduce me to Miss Joke? I got some material I want to test on her."

The tired and indifferent voice of the hero replied, "No. This is serious. You could have been hurt. How long have you been doing this?"

"Hmmm… maybe a month after I died. Figured I would just dress up with gloves and a hoodie with a medical mask and glasses. Boy did I get funny looks but no one bothered me. I ran into Kaachan but he was busy being shunned by his folks after I told mom it was his advice that helped me get a quirk." The fact that the voice sounded peppy and unbothered was getting on the hero's nerves.

"Midoriya-san We know you have been helpful in capturing villains and aiding in rescues but this is not something you can do alone. You need to be trained…"

"Umm… are you ok Eraserhead? Do you need your eyes checked? I can't really train my muscles or my mind or even my, well, anything. I can't be a hero like everyone else because there literally is No one else like me. You can't train me like you do the kids at UA. But I can say for a fact that I won't get hurt." The fact that the last part was said matter of factly made the men flinch. The detective sighed.

"Why did that hit as a truth?" He looked at the skeletal face that he could swear was grinning.

"Simple fact. One cannot get hurt if one has no way of feeling pain or has anything to hurt." The skull was nodding sagely at that as the hero just let his head hit the table.

"I swear I'm going to just give him over to Nedzu and let the Rat take over the world."

The next day Eraserhead was heading to the UA campus with a woman and a skeleton in the back seat of his car. He was happy as he had to take them straight to the Principle and try to convince the rodent to put the 'boy' in Vlad's class.

Once they passed the gates he suddenly felt very hesitant to let them out of the car. That was until his phone went off.

The chipper voice of the principal was on the other end. "Bring them to my office if you would Aizawa-san. I do hope you will not try to scare them off."

8888

In the office…

"Greetings to you Mrs. Midoriya and young Midoriya-san I am Principal Nedzu and this is my academy. UA. We have a very interesting predicament here as Young Midoriya-san is a candidate for the VRP, or vigilante reform program. However we seem to be unable to actually do any reforming as he is a very unique case."

"Hey mom, principal Nedzu is saying they can't really do anything as I can't be classed as a true vigilante. Besides being a living skeleton I have no actual quirk ability. Meaning I did not break their laws. He wants to talk you into signing something that will let them have authority over me so he can figure out how to make me a hero."

The woman nodded then looked at the white furred creature behind the desk. "Thank you for your interest but my son has been doing what he can with what he has. It was after all a hero and a school that led him to this point. Can you ensure no one else will ever be in the position my son was before he died?"

That had the poor furry man rubbing his nose. He was not very good at dealing with direct challenges that had no positive outcomes. He would work with this challenge but he did not like it. "Besides dealing with all the issues the Aldera school district has created. And locating the now missing Doctor that misdiagnosed your son. What else is it you think I should do?"

The look in her eyes made everyone flinch. Her smile sent chills down their spines. "Let's discuss what your new Heroics Teacher had done to a hurting and desperate child."

That began a very long and clearly needed discussion on training the Hero students on recognizing mental and emotional issues with people they are around. It also put a very big spotlight on why All Might needs to retire.

The end of the day held two promises. One was new training formats and the other was allowing Izuku Midoriya to torment the UA students while he and Nedzu figure out how to get him a hero license. He still was not sure it would even matter.

As Aizawa was on the field looking over the new class he noticed an odd figure walking toward him. The outfit was a school exercise jumpsuit but the person was wearing gloves and a paper bag over their head with the classic two eye holes. He watched the way the person moved before sighing. "Why are you here?"

The person stopped beside the 1-A class and bowed to Aizawa. "Boss said to do your assessment test with the newbies. He didn't say what was involved but to just do it. So what is on the menu for today?"

Eraserhead just rubbed his eyes. "And what did he list you as for your attendance?"

The eerie chuckle made the class cringe as the now male sounding person looked them over. "Why I'm Mr. Bones of course. I mean the old me is officially dead after all."

One of the students looked at him in confusion. The girl had pink skin and little horns on her head. "Why do they call you that?"

Another student that stood taller than most wearing glasses cut in with an arm chop of all things. "Correct me if I'm wrong but this class already has a maximum of 20 students and I didn't see you during the beginning of class."

The bag turned and seemed to glare at the talker boy. "Do you suffer from reduced oxygen up there? I mean anyone wanting to be a hero knows that information in any form is the key to success. Look at me. I took the greatest advice I ever received and came out better than ever. Well it did take two days to get better but jumpers can't be choosers. Hi Kaachan, how is aunty doing?"

The boy he addressed was looking pale. After being so hotheaded and aggressive earlier the class started to pay attention. "De..Izuku…is it…is that really…"

"Nope. Sorry but we both know that Deku died. I was there after all. Don't worry Kaachan, we got plenty of time to catch up. So sensei, what's the plan?"

The class was now in full attention as Aizawa explained about the Quirk assessment test. No one interrupted as they were curious about the new guy. When Kaachan or Bakugo Katsuki went first they realized the reason this guy was so loud. He had to be losing his hearing with all those explosions.

Aizawa explained that the lowest grade would be expelled and he stated that only applied to his students. That had the others eyeing the other guy again.

The class took different tests, noticing that Mr. Bones barely made the cut but seemed to be staying in good spirits. The smallest member of the class kept commenting on the girls and their bodies. So when it was time to do the final test he just sat back and whispered to Kaachan. The other boy just nodded.

"Bones. You're up. Lets see what you have. And no you can't use any gear."

"Okay." The reply was too chipper and as the boy tossed the ball into the air… Bakugo tossed The small purple headed pervert to Bones. In a fluid movement Bones grabbed the small boy's leg and used him as a bat to hit the ball a good distance. "Look Ma. No gear, just a hentai. Hope it knocked some respect for women into him."

Aizawa just rubbed his eyes before glaring at the paper bag. "Did the rat send you here just to annoy me?"

"Nope. He really does want those notes for a baseline in how to actually get me to train."

The glasses boy he learned was Iida Tenya… (Little brother to the speed knight…well that's what he calls Engenium.)... Cut in again. "That was the most villainous thing I have ever seen. Using a fellow student as a tool is… is…"

The bag turned to him. "Wow. He called me a villain but allowed the little horn dog to drool at the sight of the women in class. Yeah I see that as villainous. I mean it's the same as passing by a mugging right in front of you to get to a bank robbery."

Iida looked like he was slapped and the glares from most of the class did help that effect. "Hey, hot legs, do me a solid. Look at the world and tell me if you see color. Do ya? I bet you do. So tell me how you keep seeing things in black and white when that ain't the true world."

"I…I…am sorry for my outburst. I did not mean to offend you. I do see color and I have been looking at things in a narrow way. I shall try to correct this issue as I learn to be a great hero."

Katsuki just laughed as he turned to Bones. "So Izu. You're still you if you remember that old plan. What are you doing here anyway?"

"Oh, the principal is trying to 'reform my vigilante ways' but they are hitting a major roadblock. I mean how can you reform the undead? No, I am here to chill and goof off till I get bored and go out hunting criminals again."

Aizawa glared at him. Then activated his own quirk. His eyes glowed red and The boy with the bag on his head collapsed into a pile. The sound of something clacking as he fell had the group jumping back. Once the effect was cut Mr. Bones started to stretch his limbs out.

"Dang It. That's going to leave a crick or two. What? Was it something I said?"

"Midoriya, go back to the rat or go bother someone else. Go see how you stack up to Vlad's class. Just leave me alone… and do not go out as a vigilante anymore."

"Whatever, see you guys later. Oh and Mina, the reason I go by Mr. Bones…" he took off the bag and unzipped the jumpsuit. "Well it fits me like a second skin." He cackled as he walked off to the shocked looks he was getting. Kaachan had to run off around a corner but his heaving was heard clearly.

Class 1-B entered the field to see a person standing there doing the shinobi chair while looking at his phone. When they approached the most significant thing was the paper bag on his head. Vlad King, the hero in charge of the class, walked up to him. But before he could speak the person put away his phone.

"Hiya chief, the boss rodent said to do the abilities test with ya. So what's on the menu?" The fact that the speaker was male, cheery and seemed to be speaking to the sensei as an equal made the class weary.

Vlad looked him up and down before holding out his palm. He then sighed. "Bones, how the hell did I get stuck with this? Didn't you want to harass the 1-A group?"

"Already did. Big reveal at the end, shame only one of them threw up. But the looks on their faces was priceless. So let's see how this batch of meat sacks stacks up to real hero work. What ya gonna do to us?"

That made the class look at Vlad in worry as well. "Class, meet Mr. Bones. The first Vigilante Reform Program participant of UA. Also the biggest pain to deal with some days. Choose your questions wisely as he has no filter and no morals."

The bag shifted to look at the teacher. "I have morals. I hate rapists and pedifiles and savagely ensure they know that. I haven't killed anyone… myself. And I have no prejudice against anyone's quirk." The cheerful voice dropped into a deep rattling tone."But if you're being bullied about your quirk then come talk to me and I will gladly sort the issue out."

Vlad just aimed his hand at the boy as if to say ' my point'. He did the same tests as 1-A but also allowed introductions. When the first person was Monoma, who was grinning as he held out his hand, suddenly felt himself pulled back from touching the boy. The class paid attention. Vlad had done it and looked at the arrogant child. "I Would suggest not testing your quirk against him. We are still not clear if it is mutation or something new."

"Oh right. The copycat. Sorry but you really don't want my quirk. I mean it took really good advice just to get it to activate but the two days in a metal ice box and the whole covered in dust of yourself part did suck. Man those people at the hospital sure were glad to see me leave, they just jumped out of the way."

"Bones! 50 yd dash against Tsunotori. And no support gear."

"That's ok I only brought a phone and a lighter. Wow, you're tall. Ok Tsunotori-chan, let's race." As the buzzer sounded they both took off with Bones taking the lead by .04 seconds. "That was fun."

The tall student with a horse mutation quirk looked at him in shock. "But…but how did you keep up with me?"

Bones turned his bag to face her with a slight tilt. "I'm very light and don't really get winded or tired. Don't feel bad, I beat the froggy girl Tsuyu from 1-A as well."

The rest tried to match the times but not many made it close. Next was the exercises. And of course everyone was trying to outdo the new guy. Vlad just sighed as he realized Bones was going easy on them.

Finally the Ball Toss. This Time Bones just sat it out saying he didn't have a tiny pervert to use as a bat this time. That raised a few eyebrows. Vlad just sighed again. "Bones… please tell me you did not use a student as a support item."

"Ok, I did not use a student as a support item."

"You're lying through your teeth aren't you?"

"Well duh. But you did tell me to tell you that. What did you expect? It's not like he didn't deserve it with all his comments and disrespect to the female students. Besides, I only used him as a bat for the ball toss." The cheery way he said it made the male students shiver and the girls smile.

Vlad was just looking at the eyeholes in the bag with a twitching eye. "Please tell me you're not going out on the streets tonight. I really do not want to deal with you more than once today."

"Ok, I'm not…" "BONES!" "Fine, then tell me where Nerumi will be patrolling and I'll try to avoid you… or better yet, get me in touch with Ms. Joke." The groan from the teacher made even the students feel sorry for him.

One of the girls finally broke and reached for the bag. As soon as it was pulled off the class started to freak out. Then the skull reached up and patted the green hair. "Oh good, you didn't mess up my hair." Bones then unzipped the track suit showing his ribcage. "Man these things are a bit restricting. I mean how am I supposed to feel the wind through my ribs if it's blocked?"

He walked away as the panic set in causing Vlad to pull at his hair. "I am so going to bribe the rat to keep him around Aizawa if this keeps up."
