Holly woke up the next morning surprised to find herself still in Robert's arms. "Robert?" She said sleepily, wanting to make sure he wasn't missing work.
"Hmm?" Robert mumbled while holding her close to him. He didn't want to get out of bed, didn't want to let her go.
"Are you late for work?" Holly whispered, she was perfectly content with how they were. Being in his arms was one of the most lovely things in the world.
"No I took a leave. I think you are more important plus I have things I'm working on, the ADA is handling it." Robert told her while keeping her close to him, thoughts of the night before running through his head. He was so happy, so in love. She was everything he had ever wanted.
Holly saw the little grin on his face and knew exactly where his mind was. She couldn't help but smile herself. "Fun place to revisit huh?" She gave him a quick kiss.
Robert snapped back and nodded, realizing what she had said. "One of my favorite places. I do have a few things to take care of today. Part of that surprise I'm working on."
Holly nodded, she really wanted to know but also loved just seeing how excited he was. "I was thinking of asking Felicia if she would like to do a spa day. She has had a lot going on. I want to be there for her." Felicia had done a lot to help her in the past year and Ethan. She wanted to be there for her.
"I think you both could use it." Robert got out of bed and reached his hand out to her. "Quick shower before breakfast?"
Holly's eyes sparkled as she took his hand, getting out of bed. "I don't know about quick but we can have a shower." She smirked, she followed him in the bathroom. The two took a longer than usual shower before getting ready for the day. They ordered some breakfast just wanting to have a little more time to themselves before going on their ways.
Felicia and Holly met at the spa. "You look great!" Felicia gave Holly a hug.
"Thank you, I feel great. How are you doing?" Holly asked while taking a seat. She didn't know if Felicia had made any more decisions about her marriage.
"Mac and I are officially separated and no I'm not back with Frisco. I'm not going to go from one to the other, I want to figure out myself before I decide if I really want another go with Frisco." Felicia told Holly while picking up her drink to take a drink.
"You know what? That's fantastic. You need some you time. You need to sort everything out, there is absolutely no need to rush." Holly really did think Felicia needed time to think about her decisions. She loved both Mac and Frisco but more importantly she loved Felicia, she knew someone was going to end up hurt but unfortunately there was no way around it. "Where are you staying?" Holly asked.
"With Maxie right now, I get to spend a lot of time with the kids." Felicia smiled, she adored her grandchildren. They always made her smile even if they could be handfuls.
"We will have to get them and Seana together some time soon. Her best friend right now is Robert, I don't think that will change but I am sure it would be lovely for her to have other kids to play with." Holly took a sip of her drink.
"I think they would all have so much fun!" Felicia's face lit up at the thought of them getting the kids together.
"We can do that soon as long as Ethan and Annie are alright with it." Holly was happy she made Felicia smile so much. She loved her friend and knew that Felicia loved both her and Ethan.
"How are things with Robert going?" Felicia asked Holly, noticing she was wearing her ring again and another ring as well.
Holly could not contain her smile, she was giddy over the fact that her and Robert were going to get married again. "We are getting married, he proposed in the park with help from Ethan and Seana."
Felicia excitedly hugged Holly tightly. "I'm so happy for you! I knew he was up to something. You two were the perfect couple when I first came to town."
Holly shook her head. "Far from it but perfect for each other? Yes." Holly hugged her friend back. "He's been doing these things to surprise me and my heart melts every single time."
Felicia's grin did not leave her face, she loved this for not only Holly but for Robert who she had watched for years mourning Holly, knowing he had her back made her so happy. "I am not the least bit surprised Holly, Robert has never stopped loving you. He was a wreck both times he thought he lost you and I remember how sad you were when you thought you lost him. You two have always belonged together."
Holly smiled at her friend and nodded. "I think so. I think we are going to get it right this time. I'm completely devoted to him, not that I haven't been before but now I feel like there is nothing in our way."
Felicia placed her hand on Holly's "I completely understand and I am so happy for the two of you. You both deserve this so much."
Felicia and Holly finished up at the spa, had lunch and did a little shopping. Holly got back to her room with a few bags. Robert was sitting in the chair smiling. "Get anything good?"
Holly grinned at him. "Oh you have no idea." She gave him a kiss. "How was your day?" She asked him as she sat her bags down.
"Productive. I tell you Holly if this really does work out I can't wait to see your face." Robert beamed, just the thought of her excitement was enough to get this response from him.
Holly was curious but trying hard not to ask too many questions. "I really can't wait to find out."
Robert leaned forward to take a peek in one of the bags. "Holly you didn't?" He looked up at her.
