Chapter 10

Galadriel watched patiently and amusingly at the large group of pirates being captured by the Navy. The number of prisoners was insane, especially when Galadriel thought about how many more pirate crews were hiding in the archipelago. However, while pirates were being taken to the large galleons, Galadriel was not moving. She was standing near the port with a gentle smile on her face.

Sentomaru hummed deeply as he approached the so-called Lunarian, a bit confused at the reasoning for her simply giving herself up. "I do hope you're not trying anything funny," he said as Galadriel glanced.

"Don't worry, I am not trying to do anything funny, just hoping to speak with the right people," Galadriel replied, and her honesty confused Sentomaru even more.

"So you're trying to do something funny after all!" Sentomaru exclaimed accusingly, which made Galadriel smile.

"Like I say, don't worry, I want to avoid a fight."

Sentomaru frowned deeply as he soon saw the figure of his uncle approaching slowly towards them. The tall Admiral, who easily towered over Galadriel, sighed, staring at the white-haired woman suspiciously. He knew there was an apparent reason why the Lunarian gave herself up. It wasn't just to speak with the Fleet Admiral. That much was clear. But Kizaru, at the same time, was thankful that he had not to fight her. A fight with a being with multiple Devil Fruits would be a chore and a waste of time, especially with what was coming.

"I have spoken with Sengoku, and he will meet you at Marineford. However, you are still under arrest and will meet the Gorosei, as they will decide your fate," Kuzaru looked at her before staring down, trying to perhaps intimidate Galadriel by whispering to her. "The God's Knights have orders to kill you in sight if you try to escape."

Kizaru carefully observed Galadriel's expression, searching for any sign of anxiety or worry. To his surprise, he found none. Instead, her face was serene, and she smiled at him with a gentle warmth. Taking note of her reaction, Kizaru couldn't help but wonder what it meant. Did she know something he didn't? Or was she simply better at hiding her emotions than he had anticipated? Regardless, he felt a sense of respect for her composure and the way she carried herself in the face of uncertainty.

Galadriel, for her part, was more than thrilled. She planned that they would desperately try to meet her soon. And not only the Five Elders but also that person. The one she was more curious about meeting. However, she was also sure to be a bit careful around them. Galadriel was quite sure that she could defend herself against any threat in this world. Yet, She won't underestimate them at all. The God's Knights and those elders could be quite a threat to her if she were not careful. The same goes for the Admirals, truly.

But regardless, Galadriel was confident that she could handle the situation if it arose. If it was one-on-one, Galadriel was sure to always win. Still, she also wanted to step back and collect more information about her opponents and their capabilities before making any decisions.

Especially since Galadriel was playing the role of a Lunarian, one of the races with a history with the world government.

"Don't worry, I understand. You don't know Admiral Kizaru this, but my race has quite the history with the Celestial Dragons. I don't want to make them angry again," Galadriel replied mysteriously as she kept smiling at him. "But could I get something to eat? I am hungry."

Kizaru hummed deeply. "I see. Well, we can give you something to eat. Sentomaru, please bring her something to eat."

"Thank you," Galadriel said as she followed Kizaru to the galleon. Sentomaru just mumbled something under his breath before also following.

Galadriel, as she climbed on the galleon, began to think about the Straw Hats crew and where they could be now. She knew that it would take around three days for them to reach their destination. But still, Galadriel wasn't sure where Kuma had sent them. At least not all of them.

If what Kuma said was true and he is from the Buccaneers tribe, then that makes him my ally by default. Still, there's a lot he's hiding. Or maybe there are things he is purposely not remembering. Galadriel hummed deeply, wondering just how far he would go for Nika. However, if history serves her memory right, that would be a foolish question to ask.

"He still hopes for the drums of liberation," Galadriel mumbled as Kizaru tilted his head at her.

"Mm? Did you say something?" He asked as Galadriel smiled at him before sitting near a table where food was being placed for her by marines, who were quite confused at the reason why they were serving her food.

"Nothing," Galadriel replied quickly. "I'm just thanking you for this food."

Kizaru scratched his chin, still struggling to comprehend the strange aura emanating from the Lunarian. It was an alluring sensation that made him simply follow the Lunarian's words without putting up much of a fight.

Could it be a Devil Fruit? Kizaru pondered, but he doubted it. His Haki wasn't so weak that he couldn't fight off a Devil Fruit. Maybe it was something else. Regardless, Kizaru carefully observed Galadriel's movements while eating, taking his time watching and searching for any suspicious use of a Devil Fruit. Kizaru's reaction and speed were his strengths, after all. And while Galadriel wore the seastone chains, one could never be too careful.

Galadriel, for her part, while vaguely understanding why the Admiral was looking at her so intensely, couldn't help but feel a bit uncomfortable.

"I don't want to be rude, but your staring is quite uncomfortable," Galadriel mumbled.

"Mm~? My apologies, but I am trying to make sure you don't do anything funny," Kizaru replied with his usual dull and lazy tone. But still holding on to a serious and threatening voice.

"I am not going to do anything funny. I am just trying to eat, that's all," Galadriel replied. Besides, I have three days to kill until I hear more of Luffy. Hopefully, if my intuition is correct, Luffy will be sent to Amazon Lily.

Galadriel thought, knowing full well that Kuma knew of her peculiar relationship with Hancock. Also, she would need to contact Hancock soon and tell her not to kill the poor boy.

"Perhaps pirates are hard to believe," Kizaru only said, making Galadriel scoff.

"I am not a pirate," Galadriel said, annoyed. At least not yet. "I am just someone who is currently lost."

"For someone who is currently lost, you surely found yourself surrounded by notorious pirates," Kizaru added. Now, Galadriel could say that his distrust wasn't that far off from reality.

"Accidental circumstances," Galadriel replied, trying to sound innocent. "That's all."

"Sure, sure," Kizaru only said, clearing that he wasn't a fool. "In any case, we should sail now~. We should arrive at Marineford before the day ends."

Galadriel hummed, continuing to enjoy her meal before looking at the large group of marines moving from one place to the next.

As the large ship began to move, Galadriel couldn't help but look at it in awe while she ate. Although she had seen a few Navy ships from far away, it was the first time she had seen one so close. The enormity of the ship amazed her, just like everything else in this vast blue world. The sizes of people, objects, and places varied considerably, making everything incredibly new every time she saw it.

No wonder people take to the sea to find adventurers. Galadriel thought. This world is filled with strange things.

"Incredible," Galadriel said as she stared at the tall Admiral. "It's amazing how something so big can move so fast. It's truly different from those pirate ships."

"Of course it is," Kizaru replied, a bit amused. "The Navy has to cover a lot of ocean. Their ships do have to move faster than the criminals."

"It's my first time on a vessel, on a ship as big as this," Galadriel confessed softly, smiling at the Admiral. "It's incredible! Look at the size of the sails! Of the masts!"

Kizaru was feeling a bit perplexed by the childlike behaviour of the Lunarian. It appeared as though the concept of a sailing ship was so foreign and extraordinary to the Lunarian that Kizaru couldn't help but wonder where the Lunarian had been all this time.

"How old are you, eh?" Kizaru asked with a somehow amusing tone of voice.

Galadriel stopped to think, and technically speaking, she was a few months old in this world. So, deciding to mess up Kizaru's head, Galadriel smirked internally. "A few months old, actually. I woke up not too long ago."

Kizaru stared at her, gazing into her golden eyes, unsure if she spoke the truth. Yet, to his surprise, he found no deceit. Or at least no lies that he could identify.

"Woke up? A few months?" Kizaru asked, tilting his head slightly. "You're truly interesting and confusing."

"That's true. My situation, it's complicated," Galadriel replied, truly showcasing honesty. "So, in any case, it's being an admiral good? Is the pay good? Do you have vacations?"

Kizaru now chuckled to himself. The absurdity of it all was quite hard to ignore.

"Truly, what a day~."

Galadriel watched as the archipelago gradually faded into the distance. Despite its beauty, she couldn't help feeling a sense of disgust and revulsion towards the place. The archipelago was a wonderful destination for travellers, yet the hidden slavery and cruelty made it all the more terrible.

And even more when it was under the nose of the Navy.

"Admiral Kizaru, what do you think about slavery?" Galadriel asked Kizaru, who stood beside her, standing there watching her eat and doing nothing more but cast a glance once every few seconds. Despite that, she could still hear him hum.

"It's a nasty business," Kizaru replied with a truly unbothered tone of voice.

"You don't sound that concerned. After all, Saboady Archipelago has a lot of slaves and owners, and it's incredibly close to the Navy HQ," Galadriel pointed out, as Kizaru only stared at the sea ahead of him.

"It's just what it is~," Kizaru replied again, with no real bother in his voice. "I'm just a cog in the machine and nothing else."

Galadriel frowned as she stared at Kizaru. "Don't you have dreams? Purposes?"

"No," Kizaru replied again, unbothered by his own lack of self-worth. Galadriel, for her part, simply stared at him, not knowing if she should respect him for his honest look at himself or be sad that he sees himself as nothing more than a pawn.

"You're unclear about yourself, aren't you? As if you don't even know who you are," Galadriel stated, and Kizaru then smiled at her, which surprised Galadriel.

"That's exactly what I am and what I believe in," Kizaru replied. "Unclear justice is my motto."

Galadriel hummed deeply, pondering if it was a good thing that Kizaru thought of things in such a way.

He seems to be living an untroubled life, indifferent to everything. His apathy is quite interesting to see, especially for an admiral.

Galadriel pondered Kizaru's thoughts. She realised she couldn't simply dismiss them as baseless. In fact, she could empathise with him on some level and see where he was coming from. Galadriel herself had that same "drive" before. She would simply allow herself to follow and go with the floo, never paying attention to anything else.

Galadriel had no goal or ambition before, just like Kizaru does now. Maybe not in the same way, but it allowed Galadriel to better comprehend the admiral's reasons.

"I guess I understand," Galadriel mumbled at him before noticing something else. "It's one of the reasons why you didn't simply kill the rest of the pirates? The Straw hats? You could've done it in a blink if you had wanted. But you didn't. You were watching them, teasing them, to see how far they would go for their goals because you have none of your own."

Kizaru didn't reply for a few seconds before chuckling. "Well, we shall never know."

Galadriel now snorted loudly. "I guess you're right. We shall never know."

Both stayed silent, as the waves were the only ones to speak.

"So, do you get sick days? Or benefits after you retire?"

"Yes, I do~."

"Nice."

Kizaru and Galadriel suddenly felt a peculiar sensation in the distance. Galadriel's sight was good, but Kizaru seemed to have quite the Observation Haki. One that made him sigh quite profoundly.

"It seems that the day is not over for you, Admiral Kizaru," Galadriel teased with a big smile on his face.

"I guess it is not."

"Uncle!" Sentomaru then exclaimed. "We have two ships approaching!"

As they looked ahead, they soon spotted the flags of two approaching ships. One belonged to the infamous Big Mom's Pirates, while the other belonged to the feared Beasts Pirates. These were two of the most powerful pirate crews in the New World, both with the same objective in mind.

"What a day~," Kizaru mumbled, watching who he was dealing with. "Truly, this is starting to feel like a very long day."

"Those are," Galadriel looked closely before recognising a specific individual looking at her behind a strange helmet. "Oh—!"

Well, it seems that another Lunarian is here. How should I play this now? Galadriel pondered, deciding to see how everyone acts first before taking action herself.

On board the notorious Beasts Pirate ship, King stood at the helm, his eyes fixed on the imposing Navy galleon sailing in the distance. His gaze was so intense that the crew members around him held their breath, wondering just what Kaido's right hand was thinking right now. However, they also knew King well enough to know that his silence and unwavering stare could only mean one thing—trouble was brewing.

Nevertheless, the same could be said for the Big Mom pirates. Katakuri glared at both ships, wondering how he would approach the situation. He was confident in his own skills and ability to fight, never having lost before. However, he knew better than to underestimate his opponents, particularly those he recognised as powerful, such as King and Kizaru.

But it seemed Kizaru would be the one moving first.

"Yasakani No Magatana!" Kizaru's attack came from above, high in the sky, and aimed at both ships equally.

"It's Kizaru!" One of the Beasts Pirates yelled as both crews scrambled to find a way to protect themselves.

Without wasting a single moment, King propelled himself towards the admiral with great speed, flames erupting from his body to block the incoming attack. With swift and precise movements, he created a massive wall of fire that provided a protective shield to the ship. Kizaru, on the other hand, let out a slight huff as he tried to evade King's black katana, which was aimed at taking away his life.

"Ama No Murakumo!" Kizaru's light sword soon clashed with King's sword as both fought right above the rest.

"My~! I never thought I would face so many people in a single day~!" Kizaru mumbled before smirking at King in a mocking tone. "But I guess she is quite a price, isn't she?"

King looked down and saw Galadriel looking at him with what he thought was a surprised look on her face, stunned that there was another Lunarian around. True be told, Galadriel was shocked, but not by what King thought was the reason. She was mostly astonished at how tall people were in this world.

King, however, only noticed that her arms were restrained by seastone chains. That was enough to convince him that she had been captured.

King glared angrily at him. "I'll take your head here, Kizaru!"

"Quite the big mouth~!" Kizaru replied as he began to strike back.

Yet, while they were fighting, down below, on the sea, things were different.

The Big Mom pirates wasted no time in reaching the Navy's galleon. Their objective was clear: to get the Lunarian quickly. Katakuri glanced above him, where King and Kizaru were having their duel. His Observation Haki was trying to outdo both Kizaru and King's own Haki. As the three powerful individuals were searching for a way to outmanoeuvre the other one, to be a step ahead, It was an invisible war the three were having without anyone else paying attention.

Yet, one done so quickly.

"Big Mom's pirates are boarding the ship!" A marine exclaimed.

"Smoothie, Perospero, take care of the rest," Katakuri stated, slowly boarding the ship. "I'll go alone."

Katakuri stated, leaving no room for discussion. Both his siblings knew that there was a reason why he was commanding something like that. It meant that his foresight wasn't clear in the outcome of the battle between the Kizaru and King.

"You got it," Smoothie smiled before glaring at the marines before her with boredom. "I'll squeeze all of you."

The marines only gulped at the tall woman, not knowing how to react. It was truly going to be an incredibly one-sided fight for them. Meanwhile, the Beasts pirates' ship made a sudden and forceful impact against the Navy galleon, causing the three large vessels to collide and become intertwined. The sound of splintering wood and cannons being fired just served to start a battle on three fronts.

The Marines engaged in fierce battles against both the Big Mom's and the Beasts Pirates, but the same could be said about the other two groups.

Following her brother's orders, Smoothie began to battle her way in, showcasing just how vastly different the Big Mom pirates were and how ferocious and deadly they could be. However, Kaido's pirate crew had the same reputation as them. Soon, jumping out of nowhere, one of Kaido's subordinates attacked Smoothie with a powerful headbutt. Smoothie saw it coming and blocked it with her sword. Both their Haki were powerful enough to create a shockwave around them.

"Tch! Such a nuisance!" Smoothie hissed, watching a girl with blue hair and a small pink streak glared at her.

"If I take your head to Kaido-sama, then I shall be rewarded," Ulti's voice proved that, while young, she had earned her place on the Tobiroppo. Her eyes locked on Smoothie and made the tall woman scoff.

"Young girl, you truly need to learn your place," Smoothie replied, soon beginning her fight against Ulti.

The sight of the battle was truly breathtaking as Galadriel watched with amusement the chaos unfolding before her. Still, Galadriel's eyes were paying attention to the individuals with Devil Fruits and Haki. Currently, there were a few people in the same place fighting each other, and that was an excellent opportunity for her to learn something new.

"Oh, that girl is focusing her Armament Haki on her forehead. That's interesting," Galadriel mumbled before noticing an incredibly tall man approaching her. However, before she could say something. Sentomaru stood before her, blocking the individual from reaching her.

"Katakuri Charlotte, second son of the Emperor of the Sea, Big Mom!" Sentomaru hissed. "You will not take a step further!"

Katakuri stood there, watching Sentomaru with no emotion in his eyes. Clearly, Katakuri wasn't bothering to pay attention to him, but Galadriel was.

"Galadriel, the Lunarian Queen," Katauri stated with a serious tone of voice. "You're coming with us."

Galadriel raised an eyebrow at him. "Why? What do you want from me?" She asked, simply playing along and making time.

"You have something we want," Katakuri only stated soon, without even bothering to evade Sentomaru's attack.

"Ashigara Dokkoi!" Sentomaru attacked again, but it didn't change the outcome. Katakuri evaded it easily.

"You're not going anywhere!" Sentomaru knew that the difference in power between him and Big Mom's second son was huge. But he wouldn't back down.

Sentomaru was capable of handling any pirate in Paradise. Still, facing a New World pirate with a bounty of over a billion Berrys was impossible.

Katakuri had a trident with him, a large weapon, yet he did not use it to strike against Sentomaru. Katakuri's fist morphed into a strange liquid or mould, and Sentomaru's supposed powerful defence was not enough to help him endure the powerfully infused Haki's attack.

Sentomaru's body was propelled back, hiding one of the large masts of the Navy galleon.

"That was quite the strong Haki," Galadriel stated, looking over where Sentomaru lay, barely conscious. It was clear that he was strong enough to handle such a hit, but it would take him a while to go back to his feet, giving Katakuri enough to simply stare Galadriel down.

Whoa, he surely is tall. Galadriel thought as she stared up at him. Before smelling something—a sweet scene—she recognised it too well.

"You are wearing seastone shackles. It would be wise for you not to resist," Katakuri said, watching the Lunarian tilt her head at him confusedly.

"Did you, perhaps, eat doughnuts? You smell like it," Galadriel's astonishing words blindsided him. Katakuri's eyes widened in surprise, causing him to momentarily let his guard down. It was at that moment that Kizaru appeared in a flash, catching Katakuri off guard and forcing him to react quickly in order to defend against the incoming attack.

"Fuu~! This is getting a bit out of hand!" Kizaru attempted a powerful kick, which Katakuri blocked with his trident. Meanwhile, King's sword descended, but Kizaru blocked it. The three of them were in a strange position where they were blocking each other's attacks while Galadriel was simply sitting on a chair not far away, finishing her meal.

"Whoa, this is crazy," Galadriel mumbled while eating.

The battle was far from over.
