The Weasley were having their daily chores in the burrow, Molly cooking, Ron trimming the yard, and obviously chased by the gnomes, the twins in the town running the errands of their new business and Bill with goblins and wards.

The Reds slowly got back to their routine, still feeling their father's presence around, still expecting him home by dinner to tell them all about his day and make them smile.

The first day home for the children was difficult, they haven't been there since the funeral, Harry chose to spend the first night with them to help them feel better.

He helped Molly in the kitchens, and was kicked out of the house shortly later by her, "Go home!"

That of course, stunned the siblings except Bill who chuckled silently as he saw Molly chasing Harry around the kitchen, while he was holding her favourite frying pan.

Bill has been around all year to know how stubborn Harry is, he sat, ate and chatted with him, they knew him as Harry the best friend. Bill knew Harry as a fighter, a strong ally of the order.

Harry argued with the order for being reckless, when he came back all bloody and messy , and Daphne silently tend to his wounds, Bill was there and so was Molly.

"You do want my help, Mrs Weasley, admit it," he smoothly said, only to been hexed by her, seconds later.

"I got you man!" Fred and George run after him.

"Was mum always like this with Harry?" Ron knitted his brows, as if his mother grew a new head.

"No idea…" Ginny replaye, having the same reaction.

That night, Harry brought the house alive with the twins, making a team against Molly to drive her crazy,

"I know you better than this, you have been completely corrupted," Molly huffed, at dinner.

Harry stopped eating and walked to her, hugging her and kissing her cheek, "i should be dragged to hell for making the empress cry,"

Ron choked on his food and the twins weasel, Percy rolled his eye; he come for dinner and stayed overnight, things have been running quietly around the eldest siblings, Bill and Charlie forgave Percy.

And Percy swore to never disappoint or break his mother's heart ever again. The only missing one in the picture was Charlie and the family would be whole.

Ginny remained silent for the rest of dinner, she usually would drop sarcastic comments but she didn't, later after they spent the evening laughing and playing together in Ron's room.

Ginny woke up on whispers coming from the garden, not ignoring her curiosity she walked over the window and saw three shadowing figures, looking closely she saw Harry talk with Bill and her mum, holding a bag over his shoulder.

Why was he holding a bag, was he leaving? Why is no one stopping him? Dozens of questions ran over her head in a flash of a second, wanting to be answered, she opened her door and ran down.

When she reached out, he was gone with no traces that he was ever there, "Where is he? Where did Harry go!?"

Molly was the first who replied, calmly "don't be silly, he's sleeping with Ron inside,"

Ginny knitted her eyebrows, glazing at Bill who yawned tirely, "why don't we go all and sleep," He pushed them softly both inside.

The first day passed and everyone acted like Harry wasn't even there, second week they forgot about Harry, no one questioned, not even Ron, a month later and not even a whisper of worry, as if he never came.

One day she had enough of this act, "Where did he go, Mum!" she slammed her hands on the table.

Molly turned around, "Where is who? If you're asking about Ron he-"

"You know i'm not talking about that idiot," she said, "where is Harry? Did he go back to private drive, Ron would've said so,"

"Augh, Ginny for the million time, Harry is here,"

"Where is he? I don't remember him around, is he roaming with his invisibility cloak, or am I the too blind to see him!?" she rolled her eyes, "Why don't you come out then, Harry!"

"Enough Ginny!" Molly sighed wearily, "to everyone including us, Harry is here spending his summer with us, drop your endless questions, I know your worried about him but we can't do anything about it,"

"Aren't you worried?" she frowned at her mother.

"I'm always worrying about that idiot," Molly whipped her hands with towel and smiled at her daughter, "but he is fine,"

"What's going on?" Ron asked, as he waked into the kitchen.

"Perfect timing," Molly exclaimed, handing Ron a jar of powder" here,Harry through the floo,"

It was dusk on a warm day in July, The waves were crawling quietly to the shore. The sound of the waves were soft and calming.

Birds were singing along to the rhythm made by the waves and the wind. The sky was a bright burning red drawing with tints of purple, orange, blue and yellow paint. The flaming sun was slowly hiding itself behind the line which divides the crimson red sky and the denim blue water. Everything blended together perfectly.

Harry was sitting on a beach mat in a comfortable posture. His eyes were closed. He let the soothing sounds from the beach sink in. It had been wild recently and being here had surely allowed him to relax.

He slowly opened his eyes. Daphne was standing by herself admiring the sunset. It was getting dark so Harry couldn't see her face clearly. Her tiny silhouette was still as stunning and graceful as she is.

Staring at how peaceful she was, it has been a long year for the two of them,

Both had gotten a little older? and wiser than they were when they first met. There had been ups-and-downs in their relationship filled with miscommunications and painful fights and obligated separations. But the love they had found for each other was so strong that they managed to make it work eventually.

Harry never understood why he got to be so lucky. There was a lot of judgement over the years about him, from freak to the boy-who-lived to the golden boy who lied, then freak again, his shield against the world was thick even his best friends were unable to break through it. Never in his wildest dreams would he ever dream that he would successfully find the person who accepts him wholly, he wished he noticed long before tis, he wish he remembered her, he would ends up choosing her over and ovr again, perhaps if he knew her back then he wouldn't s Patil to be his date, he wouldn't have a crush on Cho chang.

There she was, standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset. Her blonde hair, kissed by the sun and ruffled by the wind.

She is his pillar, the one he leans on. The one he trusts without questions and the one that fate chose for him.

He smiled everytime he thought of it, fate played them well.

Daphne stretched out her arms to embrace the beauty of nature as Harry watched her with affection.

She is so beautiful.

She turned around and walked towards his direction with a blooming smile on her rosy cheeks. And sat down next to him. He pressed a tender kiss on her forehead and placed his hand on her round stomach. Checking their babe.

The heart beating was alright, and the magic was all balanced, every while and then the baby acts defensively, and push the people around, sometimes even he can't get closer to touch Daphne.

''I still can't believe this is happening.'' She said softly, ''we're going to be parents.''

The two Potters let out a big laughter, "shit," he laughed. Their silly idea was becoming real, with each passing day. They were frustrated, but they have to do it, the bloodline must continue no matter what.

"We are improving though," As they sat together on their beach mat, leaning on one another. They both closed their eyes and enjoyed each other's company and listened to the song performed by the beach.

Harry gave her an adorable smile, ''You are going to be an amazing mother.''

She chuckled and slightly shook her head, "I hope so, You better not leave me all alone doing it,"

" I would never, anything for the little one in there. It's going to be so loved.'' he patted lightly at his wife's stomach. Not mentioning a gender or rather she would lash her wrath on him.

She was sensitive about gender; if it was a boy, a gift. A girl, a disappointment.

He talked to her about it, several times, assuring her that the girl is not a problem, the girl is not a curse! And failed each time.

"Loved more than me?'' Daphne swatted Newt's arm playfully.

"It depends," he smirked, and she let out a gasp.

The house was on the cliffside overlooking the beach, Harry was listening to the song of the whales. Their pod had lost a baby in the south and was mourning here. The waves lapped underneath them, the ocean having its own voice. Daphne noticed his gaze drift into the ocean.

"They lost that child years ago, but still they sing for him," Harry said, gaze expressive and pinched as he stared across the waves. "You hear it too, don't you? The ocean remembers. Has its own history and voices."

Daphne was speechless, Harry was no longer just a parseltongue. He doesn't hear just magic.

"You are improving but unfortunately, i don't listen to everything," She smiled, how she heard much more than she let on.

"It's the Voice of All Things. To hear it is a talent all in itself. Dangerous but wonderful gift." He threw her a smirk she knew would feature in her dreams for weeks.

Daphne felt heat rush to her cheeks, fixed her gaze on the horizon again to watch a whale breach, its body dancing in the place where ocean met sky. Seconds later, a smaller whale mimicked what it had seen, flipping back in delighted play with a heavy and artless splash.

"What happened to the child whale?" she asked

"Hm?" Harry wasn't watching the ocean anymore. Hadn't been for a good minute. She felt the weight of the gaze on her face. "Oh. He lost his way with them as they went through the great seas, long into the south, but He's quite safe. sad story all in itself. But he knew happiness, and I think that's important for any child of the ocean." Daphne raised her brows, of how he would know that, no she already knew the answers.

"It's sad for a child to be without their family," she said. "I hope he have friends."

"He do, they always find one in the end," he said, looking into the sky.

Daphne used that opportunity to steal a kiss from him.

"Daph!" He groaned, it was his weakest spot, a kiss on the neck means his about to start on, kiss below the ear, melts him but the lips, aw boy.

The lips means that he won't stop until he finishes.

The kiss means hunger and means to fill in and out. Harry hates that.

He hates to take anything from her, and now as a pregnant he made sure not to kiss her on the lips.

They haven't had sex in months now, "I still haven't forgiven you wholly yet," she huffed, slapping his shoulder.

"Even after giving you the bunny?" he blinked fast, using a cute expression

She was about to reply but was meddled by a shout from Tonks behind them, "we're starting without you Guys!"

"She's enjoying it," Harry commented, as he saw Tonks flirting with Remus while he was grilling the meat.

From her angle of view Daphne could see the girl's fingers timidly tapping next to the werewolf, her hair red and a small smile from what she could barely see. They really are a sweet couple.

Well, even though they were not official yet. Of course, she rooted for her friend, but was worried about how Remus would behave in a relationship.

Tonks was pushing him to the edge now that she officially broke up with her boyfriend.

She couldn't hide her feelings anymore and…

Especially after a little ridiculous misunderstanding by her, which ended up breaking down and admitting her absolute massive crush on Remus.

One month ago,

"You are not mad?" Remus tilted his head, she could sense his doubt.

Daphne gave a half chuckle, not stopping her activity of trimming the thorns of her favourite rose in the garden, "mad!? why should I?"

WE had plans. I had plans, disappointed was more like how she felt right now than being mad, perhaps the baby was feeling mad because the one who soothes it the most is not around now, she suddenly felt dehydrated and a bit dizzy.

"He is stupid, Reckless, stubborn man, but I can't stop him…" she uttered, sitting on the french garden furniture, something must have come up to send just these words…

"I'll be back soon"

It was more like a message, «there is an urgent mission, I don't know when I'm coming, hang up until I'm back, cover up for me…» that what Harry said

Remus would only agree with her and yet confused, she was eager to leave the house with Harry and she had a mood change, he only was ready for the moment that she would snap at him.

"Winky!" She ordered the elf to bring the dinner, not letting this ruin her day, but nevertheless her plans.

Daphne; was supposed to be packing up for their little cottage, excitedly, Harry was supposed to be here right now sitting and having his dinner with her, the dinner she made for him.

The dinner that she worked to finish on time when Remus would be walking in with Harry beside him.

But instead she was sitting alone facing a note.

She was not that kind of woman, she was not, she swore that she was not! Breathe in, breathe out. Baby will be stressed.

He promised that he will be here to take her home, to their home. What was she supposed to do with her already packed up luggage upstairs, unpack it again.

Awch! That headache is back again, because her shitty dickhead husband decided to not show up and she have to think of a cover up.

"I also don't agree with his methods but Albus is encouraging in it, either…" Remus' voice tried to reason up with her, that as long as Albus sees it right, everything was alright.

She had zero trust to the fucker, he was her brother's favourite advisor, that double-faced old man.

But he was their only ally now.

A good ally with a good amount of men behind him.

That made Daphne stop and put the fork on table, laughing at the statement, Remus prepared himself for whatever sharpie thing would be thrown at him.

"It's not like Albus has a choice in the matter," she shrugged, reminding him that Albus also needs Harry by his side, mutual interests.

"Harry is Harry but also not Harry," she leaned her chin on the back of her hand, resting her aching back in a comfortable pose.

That's all she could say about this…

"What do you mean?"

That idiot, She took a deep breath, "I am pregnant here, do you see me complain? no you don't. I do the whole secretariat here, I deal with everyone making Excuses for his went off adventures, do you see me complaining, no you don't! I tried as best no to look worried, when he shows up every fucking time covered in blood THAT I hope it's not his! All I asked was a small vacation, Remus, a teeny-tiny one," she said instead, drifting Remus away from asking unnecessary questions, "I guess it's hard to ask after all,"

She mended a swallowed, dark purple bruise that was caused by a hard hit on the shoulder, without questions, again.

"Thank you…" he said in the dark,

Daphne rolled her eyes, "what for,"

"Not questioning me,"

"I grow up never to raise unnecessary questions ," she sighed,

"Still…" Harry frowned, holding her by hands, softly.

She stared down at their joined fingers, not wanting to lift up her head and see those emeralds staring back at her with the same expressions of hers, pained one.

"For our future," she said.

He kissed her forehead, "For our future," he assured.

The blonde sighed, she long ago knew what she signed up for, giving up on arguments, "well I suppose now you are stuck with me for the summer Moony," she smirked at him, changing the topic,

"Eh!?"

She pointed her finger at him, "You, me, The Orkney Islands,"

"Nope, not happening young lady, you are not dragging me again," he shook his head, standing up, but daphne held him by wrist, he cursed under his lip, knowing that if he turned and glanced at her face, he will regret it for the rest of his life.

"Look at me!" She blinked quickly her eyes, quivering her lips, flashing her almost into five months belly in front of him, startling him, "I can't let the order see this Remus, you trust them, I don't," she sharply said, still holding into his wrist.

Remus took a deep breath, "Then what? Albus, Molly and Bill already know, Snape obviously do since Albus can't hide anything from him, " he paused, " then what? How will we explain a little Potter toddler running around #12" he sounded almost frustrated.

She smiled, her face now calmer as if she was backing up, "I am not ashamed of being a mother at a young age, but if one word goes out about the baby…" her words died and Remus wondered what was she thinking of,

This was the first time she showed such a defeat. She is so young, Harry too, and a baby coming on the way for them. The elders talked about it for months, not the right time for this.

Remus thought only of the stress Lily went through back when she was pregnant with Harry. The fear that the dark lord may come for them, he prayed that the history won't repeat itself.

He put his hands on her shoulders, "the order is not your enemy, they will protect you, both of you .."

Daphne chuckled darkly, pushing his hands away, "like they did to Lily Potter,"

Remus's lips parted but no words came out, she had her own fears but tis time is different, and leaving the house that its wards are literally the most powerful they ever got.

After long silence, he sighed in defeat, "you already planned everything out,"

"Of course!" She beamed immediately.

Remus chuckled, she cannot be stopped once she had it in her mind. He took her hand in his and smiled down at her, "we're in this together, aren't we?"

Daphne was surprised by his choice of words but composed herself immediately, staring at their joining hands and smiled, a real smile, and guided them down to her abdomen, " baby says yes, Remus,"

"Alright then, we'll go Just for you little one," he smiled, "Have you thought of names yet?"

"Any suggestions?" She raised a brow, playfully.

"Hmm.. can I?"

"Well, of course you!" she said, "I welcome any good none magical name,"

"None?"

She nodded,

"It moved!" he gasped, excited and backed away as if he was going to hurt her, " it did again,"

Daphne's eyes softened, his touch wasn't even felt on her stomach, he was afraid but she guided him again to where it was,

He moved closer and let his both hands enoy the sensation of a new life, ,closing his eyes and meditating on the magic of nature. With Lily and James, they barely had time to notice the creation in front of them. like this.

They remained there in the garden, enjoying each other's company.

"You'll be a great father," she blurted out of blue, breaking their siren silence.

She didn't glance at him to know how he felt about moving on in life, starting his own family, wizard trends to leave long, they can do it anytime, but he needed it, a life support.

And she cared for him, truly…

Remus thought's darkened, it was not her right to judge or decide for him, whatever was a friendly intention or not, yet gain she tries to reason with him, "it is a great responsibility but also a great bless…" she move her hand up to is face, staring right into his brown eyes, "-to see your own making, waiting for you, looking up to you.. see you as the most amazing person in their eyes," she continued anyway, ignoring his jaw's tightening, and before she notice herself, she moved and hugged him, a real warm hug. Caressing his hair,

He lost way too much and she wants him to be happy.

"What the fuck is GOING ON!" A female shrike startled them both.

Tonks misunderstood the whole scene and thought Remus and Daphne were in some forbidden love affair behind everyone's back.

Remus was rather angry at her, and argued with her for being immature, and Daphne well, she just watched them, silently as if she wasn't part of the whole misunderstanding.

Later on, Tonks dropped by. Drunk. Out of a fight with her boyfriend. Crying of how awfully cruel Remus was toward her for calling her immature!

Daphne listened to all the confession, at the kitchen of #12, which ended with Remus fucking Tonks on the kitchen counter, feverely… unnecessary detail that Daphne is sill trying to obliviate it from her memory.

He was hot there was no denying at that part, older or not, Remus, Sirius and even her father-in-law were breaking girls' hearts back in their days, fifteen years later and they still did.

Daphne noticed Harry staring at her as they made their way back to the house on the islands.

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing!" She beamed and wrapped her arm around his, walking back to the house, her idiot used an apology that she wouldn't trade it with anything in the world.

When a husband and a wife fights, they make it with either an apology, the husband getting his love her favourite flowers, taking her out on a trip, or buying her jewellery.

That's the synonym of the wealthy couple, but in their condition, specifically their. The apologise was more of mending a hole of an old forgotten blanket full of nostalgic memories and wrapping it around yourself, in the edge of a winter storm, inhaling the scent of love and cosy of those lost souvenirs

Harry shrugged, as he scooped her under his wing, showering her with kisses.

And They spent their July in harmony, at the beach house, just the four of them in peace.

Daphne was showing weary signs of a difficult pregnancy over days, but none said anything to hurt her guts.

She was sleeping more and more, always tired to even move around and sometimes felt like magic was pushing her to the edge, days she lose control of magic and days she lose the magic.

She acts absolutely fine around Harry, but can she? He didn't leave her side at all, shopping in the town together, against his own will, walking in the woods. It was her way to say I'm not gentle and weak.

Harry was scared that she could break, like a glass, if you don't stay around her, you may think that she was having the easiest grocaise in the world.

Perhaps because she doesn't want to miss any moment with Harry, she almost forgot the sensation of him by her side, he either was at school or god-knows-where doing god-knows-what.

He has been the most wonderful partner she ever could have been blessed with. From their first date, even before then, rather, he has always been there for her, catering to her every whim. When she got pregnant, his habits only increased tenfold, and he had become outwardly determined to make sure she was never uncomfortable.

Even when he wasn't around.

It's a rather impossible task seeing that her body is rearranging itself to grow a whole human, but it's the thought that counts, she supposes.

Molly lent them Arthur's car, using magic transport was no longer available with Daphne; Remus was teaching Harry how to drive these days, like a father would.

they made their way to the table, outside the house, Daphne could spot all types of meats. The sunset shone on the grill that they brought to the house,

The delightful smell got stronger as they approached, making her drool, "It's Grilling time." she sing-sang, to Remus, who gave her the first piece to taste.

"Let me help flipping them," Harry volunteered, Remus didn't even consider it for a bit, handing the spatula to him.

Harry reached up to the grill with the spatula and flipped sausages and chicken, easily, while Daphne giggled excitedly.

Not seconds as the girls choose to set up the table, Fleur and Bill arrived, their hands intertwined as they approached the group. Fleur went to the girls, politely greeting the two girls.

Bill immediately got to work, setting up the barbecue, and began to start cooking the meat on the grill, with Harry and Fleur helping preparings, while Tonks and Daphne sitting right next to the barbecue, wanting to be the first one to eat the meat once it was cooked.

Daphne and Tonks were idly chatting a little bit away,

"Isn't it polite to let your guests have the food first?" Charlie showed up, holding a box of butterbeer in hand and flowers in the other one.

Daphne pouted and puffed her cheeks out. "No way! I'm hungry!"

"Whose the flowers for?" Tonks raised a brow at him.

Charlie laughed, and heartily before offering the flowers to Daphne, "I heard a certain princess love this one,"

" O' Charlie! Which girl left you this time?" She took them.

"Sharp as always, Whatever there is meat and beer, Charlie appears!" he laughed, evilly.

The laughter mixed with music in the background, pups running around was enjoyable. Once in a while.

The pleasures of grilling..

There are very few things in this world she find truly pleasurable, a cool breeze on a warm day, the feeling of flying, the sight of her husband's happy face and for some undetermined reason, grilling!

She understands that equating the act of cooking meat on an semi-open flame to the happiness around slightly, well let's say strange, buts has found nothing that parallels the high that she receives every time Remus or Harry turn each piece of warm slightly charred meat. Even the act of love making pales in the face of the heady aroma of slowly cooking animal flesh.

The rest, obviously, have no idea about her fascination with the grill. Yes the grill, she did the day that Osman presented it to her.

At the time even she could not fathom the way she would obsess over every smudge on the chrome plating, every drop of grease that fell into her flame.

the most favourite part of the grilling experience is the dainty grating, coated with animal flesh and grease that collects crispy crunchy little morsels that melt in your mouth.

And then the best for last, the gathering, the grilling without gathering are meaningless. That was Osman's mighty rule.

they may have ben new to her, but she likes them, Remus and Tonks together non-officially, Charlie and Bill joking about some story back in hogwarts, and Fleur smiling into the entire evening.

And as she was enjoying the peace, a mirage come into her sight, and she saw there in front of her, her family, her heart didn't clunch in pain as it used to before, but instead, she felt herself warm and secured. Those unshed tears were not of sadness but of happiness.

Daphne noticed a warm emeralds staring right into her soul and she looked up, blinking away the tears, he put his and on top of hers and smiled, he knew what she was thinking of, "Wish Molly and the reds joined too,"

Harry beamed, "you won't stand a chance with Ron around,"

"Are you so sure,"

"Pretty sure," he added, sadness could be heard in his voice. He used to have them around in summer, wherever there is fun, the reds were around but they are not strong at legilimency to stay around, Harry knows that and Harry choose to keep them away for their own good.

"Go visit them tomorrow, Molly miss you," She said as she fed the pups more meat from her own share.

"Sure thing," he said, taking a bite from Daphne's sare, "Hey! I left that one for last,"

"You shouldn't," he swallowed.

She shook her head and stood up, moving inside the house; to the kitchen were a certain birthday cake, Harry's favourite chocolate rested, waiting the candles to lit up for the man of hour, the same one as Hagrid got the first time they met.

Harry said that the cake Hagrid got for him was the best he ever ate, so she made sure to bake it the same way Hagrid did, with the recipe Hagrid gave gladly to her.

As the candles lit up around, her eyes softened, remembering the long year they got together, the adventures, the fights, the cries and the laughter. They may not be the perfect due but they learned and they still learn, they are fighting against everyone's beliefs about them.

She was about to lift it up when she felt her sight blurring and her legs giving up, she held onto the table to steady herself, feeling something rising she was about to vomit and so she run into the sink, it was not food but blood, actual red blood. Her lungs were hurting inside and she felt her body burn from inside, no she must not draw attention in such a special night like this.

He must not notice this, it's his day. She got out of her pocket medicine.

Snape had given her something before she left Grimmauld. A bottle of 'nutritional pills' that could keep the baby fed while 'maintaining the female magic.' Snape had told her to be careful with them—they were contraband,.

Only one a day, taking a deep breath, Winky was a moment behind her, just as they planned, the cake flew behind her as she sang a 'Happy birthday Harry' she could still feel the pill's acrid flavour on her tongue but cared less.

A happy hour must always stay a happy hour.

As they cut the cake, HaRRY used the opportunity to lift a glass, Remus let him for this lovely occasion to have his ways with a beer, not whiskey just a beer.

"I would like to thank you all, for being here, thank you," he paused for a second, "first i would like to apologise for making things bit difficult around, I will forever be in your debt for taking care of us in this times,"

"What nonsense you're bubbling," Tonks spoke up.

"The beer went into his head," Charlie commented, out loud

They protested for this and made him laugh, Daphne smiled at him, all but proud, "Okay, no drama but shortly, you are not friends, partners, you are family even though there are many absents today," they laughed, Harry thought about it, Family was power, love and everything you hold onto.

"So just bear with me and this one here, cheers" he pointed at his wife, who slapped his arm away.

He took the glass and sat with a sigh next to his wife, "So,"

"So,"

"Where is my gift?" he held up his hand, se looked between his palm and him, than put hers on top of his, "you got it,"

"What!? Nothing," he frowned.

"Nope," she held up his Hogwarts letter, his scores were better than she expected, he did study to achieve a few O and no T, "I expected a great score, disappointed… however Good luck, Snape will be your DADA," she chuckled, evilly.

He was offered this year to be captain of Quidditch and… refused.

Aurelia was known for her quick anger, she didn't care for manners or what others expected of women. She raised her head, ignored the maids that stuttered and stammered that Phobos wasn't ready yet and walked up the grand staircase. Her heels clicked against the marble floor, taking a deep breath as she marched her way to his bedroom.

"Phobos!" She called, causing the few maids walking down the hallway to rush to get out of the way. Probably terrified of him coming out and being in a murderous rage, which wasn't something to be messed with.

There was no response, of course. Huffing she reached the door, just in time to hear a crash, causing her eyes to widen in surprise. With all her strength she pushed at the heavy wooden doors, being spurred on by a sudden worry in her chest- she could think of all the awful things that could happen. Silent assassin, poison, cutting a particular nerve just to stab in the tender spots that would cause him to bleed out instantly.

Not knocking was her first mistake. (Not that, she would ever admit to it, why should she when he literally choose to push her aside, his own mother) Staring was her second.

Phobos was bent over, dress shirt half on, one shoe still on the floor and the other on his bed. For an emperor, a king he didn't look that quiet dignified right then.

"Too loud mother,"

"My cards don't lie, and the blooming flower in the garden of the dynasty assures my fears, and you're here-" she snapped, frustrated and not wrong, "if there is a child.."

"Stop worrying, this is already handled," he breathed out, walking into the balcony and taking a bite of his breakfast.

"I'm afraid I cannot son," Aurelia run to him, holding his face all between her hands, seeking an emotion in his eyes, "a child, means a hope for the old bloodline, our mission to ruin it son,"

Phobos knows exactly what his mother means and what the consequences of his ignorance will be.

"what will happen now?" This is not a small question by any means, but a very important one to set up the stage of the upcoming events.

Phobos responds by stating that he will rephrase the question in "What do you think will happen to the animals when they think that they have cut the robes that keep them at check,"

Aurelia tilted her head confused, He was the Joker; Not a king or a player, he was the one that pulls the threads of the dolls beneath him.

Or else hell will break loose.

"Who will fight who? Who will ally with who?" Aurelia starts patiently listening to him, with her expressions worried,

He couldn't hold his giggles, "and who will betray who?" The world will see the greatest war of all time. And if he let the animals run free, they will destroy everything, unless he give them a reminder, pull them against their will,

Phobos observes Aurelia's reaction as the words finally sink in,he stares into the sky and thinks about it for a while. His father is dead, Eros is dead, the girls long gone and Vania is infertile.

no , He won't hurt his sister. He promised Eros to let her live. He was not an oath breaker, he also gave a pact to let her live with her kids, but that doesn't mean that someone else won't.

The night went in peace, Daphne was enjoying watching Winky and Dobby dancing with the pups, swaying through the waves of music in the background. Fleur and Bill smiting with joy and some drunkenness.

Charlie, having his probably tenth bottle of beer, next to Harry and Remus who was enjoying his birthday cake, laughing as there is no tomorrow of some stories being told.

Tonks, trying to drag her to stand up and dance, not to seem obvious around Remus, so yes, she was using Daphne here, and Daphne obliged.

for a while smooth dancing and glancing at the men, who began talking about something which seemed serious, their serious expression made it clear. Daphne wanted to know; so she looked at one pf the puppies, who she grew a bond with them over the month while their daddy was away. One immediately ran to sit on Harry's lap,

"They arrested us for a week," Charlie said.

"Have you found anything?" Remus asked.

"Even with verity serum, nothing…,"

"How many?"

"the least of eggs were eight, but maximum should be triple that number, each dragon would lay three, in our case there is always one missing,"

"The dragon thieves are not looking for buyers," Bill murmured, theoretically.

Charlie shook his head, " Mundungus and Hagrid are looking into it, "

"when should they hitch?" Harry asked, patting the fur of the litter in his arms,

"two months." Charlie sighed, "if they are for selling in the black market.."

"It will be any day now," Remus finished.

Harry went silent, thinking of the precaution, reason, whereabouts and all the available theories offered on the table, a dragon? That was not part of the plan but again the vision of two years said otherwise, the flame could be dragons,

"You are not involving yourself young man," Remus boycotted the train of thoughts the litter was drifting in,

By the next morning, Daphne was sitting on the sofa, watching television.

Her dear new friend, Remus, sat on the counter of the kitchen, thumbing through newspapers while Tonks waited patiently for her coffee to be done.

Hangover of the other night was still lingering around here. Daphne really liked this, just being able to spend time together doing nothing. Not having to worry about who would see them together or what conclusions they might draw.

She looked up when Harry stumbled into the room and said, "Well I'll be damned."

"Morning to you too, love," she greeted, a frown marring her brow.

"Hmmm…Oh. Morning. Have you heard what Malfoy did! " Daphne looked up and shrugged her shoulders, something for the 'It's a small world' file."

When she started to whistle the appropriate Disney tune, he winced and nearly shouted, "No, stop!"

Daphne clamped her mouth shut and frowned, wondering what she had done. Tilting her head to the side, she looked at him questioningly.

Harry winced again, this time at his overreaction. "Sorry, honey. I just hate that song. And once it gets in my head it's stuck there for days," he finished, smiling wanly. "You see, Malfoy the dad bought the lands of diagon alley, right?"

They all nodded, "well I got this letter from the twins, the previous owner of their shop apparently was in debts to that wicked man, and if they don't pay the double of the price that was agreed to, the shop will go to Malfoy!"

"What!?" They all snapped.

"They worked hard on it," Tonks frowned.

"Typical Draco," Daphne whispered.

"Like father like son," Remus sounds disappointed.

Daphne gave Harry that firm look, "I am their big supporter," he smiled at her.

"Tell them to take their products to the shop, and if it's good, we will support them," Daphne sighed, business is business for her, she doesn't run charities around.

Harry lightened up immediately and kissed her cheeks,

But a commercial on the Television attracted their attention, about a family discount for a Disneyland Paris!

Daphne immediately turned to him, with a puppy look,

Harry gave up in a second,, "Come to think of it, I've never been to Disneyland."

They sat in companionable silence for a few minutes. Suddenly Harry sat up straight, a wide grin across his face.

"Guys. Would you like to go? To Disneyland!"

The eldest couple frowned at his sudden idea, "Come on, it'll be fun." He'd love to take Daphne to Disneyland. It was easy for him to forget how hard their childhood had been. This was a chance to make up for one of those missing happy childhood memories.

"The wizarding amusement park is much better than that, " Tonks said.

Daphne ignored Tonks and looked at Remus, using the same lost puppy stare. And his body chilled.

Harry had that boyish look of enthusiasm that he sometimes got when he thought he had come up with a good idea. His eyes were twinkling and Remus couldn't resist anymore, they will kill him one day with their unstoppable energy!

It was kind of a kid thing, going to an amusement park, but maybe they'd have fun. If nothing else, they had roller coasters there, didn't they? Harry would have a great time.

"Okay. Yeah. Sure, let's go to Disneyland, Girls prepare yourselves."

Daphne and Tonks yelled in excitement, and Remus couldn't help but grin.

Meanwhile, in a dark bedroom, there was a life of its own. Its oppressive, all-encompassing darkness breathed. In and out. In and out. The only voice that helped her tolerate her own loneliness…

Hermione could hear it. Just as clearly as she heard her own screams. Love didn't defeat hunger or thirst. She was chained to the board of this bed, it was hell rather than a bed, she despised those sheets, like she despised her own self pity.

There in complete darkness and silence and she had been… since when? She didn't know. Nobody had come to check on her, feed her, or torture her. He had probably forgotten about her. She was waiting to die of thirst, her throat dry, her lips cracked, her body screaming for relief. But the only thing it could get at this point was release. The sweet release of death. Drip. . Breathe. In and out. Love doesn't win wars. Albus Dumbldore lied, and you lied, Harry.

Many had been killed before her eyes. But why? Why? Breathe. In and out. In and out. I want to die, too. I want to die.

It became hard to think when the thirst reached an unbearable threshold. As if she had never, since the beginning of time, tasted water. That feeling, like someone had rubbed her tongue with sandpaper, was the centre of her Universe.

Sometimes she whispered. "Water, please, just a drop." Was it a prayer? But to whom, exactly, was she praying? No gods could stand to watch over such a world. And yet, she had reached that point where nothing mattered anymore. Not reason, not logic. Only the most basic needs took precedence. And sometimes she whispered, sometimes she cried out.

"Water, please!" And sometimes she prayed.

Her memories, screaming. Screeching. Wailing. Lamenting. Darkness, drawing in ragged breaths. Sucking every last ounce of hope out of her. Her wrists and ankles, chafed by the chains. Hunger. Thirst. Death was taking its time. Silence. Her sanity unraveling.

Her sanity must have been unraveling, she reasoned, when the door creaked open. She held up her pain, she won't let him see it, she won't give him the satisfaction. The man who came in flicked his wand once and the candles were lightened, making it too bright for her. She crumbled up to the board, as if she could be swallowed by it, suddenly aware that she was naked.

"Hello there, wife." Tom Riddle, also known as Voldmort, smiled at her.
