A/N: Hello everyone, I am back with chapter eleven of this story. Here, the events of "Guren Dances" are covered.

Disclaimer: I don't own Code Geass

Things began with the same monologue from C.C. Things began in earnest with C.C. on a diving board in an Ashford swimsuit. The immortal girl looked at the moon before diving into the pool.

"Shirley mentioned something about one of the Swim Club's swimsuits being left out." noted Milly.

"Why is she swimming in the school's pool?" asked Rivalz.

"Why not." answered Lloyd.

"She could have liked swimming." noted Gino.

"C.C. was always an enigma. She kept herself cloistered and kept people at a distance." noted Kallen.

Lelouch was shown on a laptop looking up Black Knights applicants. Saburo Okaguchi was shown.

"Is that the guy you accused of being a spy?" asked Gino.

"It was in the heat of the moment!" declared Tamaki defensively.

"If he supported the rebels, then why didn't avoid joining any group? Was it really because he was afraid of being too far-right?" asked Milly curious.

"He was afraid of giving into the far-right and becoming too extreme in his point of views." answered Ohi.

"The Lake Kawaguchi incident drove him to join the Black Knights." added Kaguya.

"Is he still around?" asked Rivalz.

"He was killed during the Black Rebellion." answered Chiba bitterly.

Chiba shot Jeremiah a dirty glare.

Lelouch moved to the next application which happened to be Diethard.

"A Britannian?" asked Lelouch surprised.

"No surprise that creep would betray his country." noted Villetta disgusted.

"He betrayed us too!" declared Tamaki angrily.

"Milly, have your co-workers mentioned him?" asked Kallen curiously.

"Not really. But, I've heard he seemed rather apathetic and wasn't afraid to bend the truth." answered Milly.

"Looks too confident to be a spy. An extremist?" mused Lelouch.

"Isn't it wonderful? How the number of recruits keep going?" asked C.C.

"And it was simpler than expected." added Lelouch.

The view changed so Lelouch was shown on the laptop while C.C. floated in the pool.

"While I bitterly hate the Britannians, I refuse to condone terrorism. That's the prevailing view of most Elevens." stated Lelouch.

"But, we were Knights for Justice. So the people could rally around us." realized Kallen.

"Am I the only one who noticed Lelouch used Elevens instead of Japanese?" asked Rakshata curiously.

"He never cared about us. We were a means to an end." stated Oghi bitterly.

Kaguya frowned at hearing this.

"It couldn't have been for nothing." thought the UFN Chairwoman worried.

"Then basically Elevens support the Black Knights for the most part." said C.C.

The moon was shown again before cutting to the immortal girl.

"Which in turn makes it easier for us to operate as a whole. It's a huge help that the people don't report our activities to the Britannians." said Lelouch.

"I wonder...was conquering Japan a folly." mused Cornelia.

"Milady, what do you mean?" asked Guilford surprised.

"As Lelouch noted, the quick Japanese surrender ensured Japan's military infrastructure was still largely intact. Plus, we had a massive population that refused to break and gave us more trouble than any other Area." answered Cornelia.

Everyone took in what the former princess said.

"In the end, Britannia spent eight years trapped in a quagmire." added Cornelia flatly.

"When you say it like that, it does sound stupid." stated Lloyd.

"Lloyd!" snapped Cecile.

"You have to wonder if the Sakuradite was worth it." Rivalz.

"If only that were the real reason." muttered Cornelia.

"Plus, I hear some group called Kyoto is offering to send us Knightmares." continued Lelouch.

"Lady Kaguya, would be correct to assume you were behind that?" asked Tohdoh.

"The other members of Kyoto didn't trust Zero but, I never wavered in my support and eventually I got Kirihara to start supplying the Black Knights with Knightmares." confirmed Kaguya.

The Japanese girl thought for a moment.

"Come to think of it, Lord Kirihara did support Zero more after meeting him. I guess Lelouch told Kirihara who he was." added Kaguya.

"Lord Kirihara knew Lelouch from his stay at Kururugi Shrine so that makes sense." agreed Tohdoh.

"The number of informants has been increasing quickly too. The Japanese can't resist jumping on the bandwagon. They hear a well-grounded buzzword and off they go." explained Lelouch.

C.C. exited the pool.

"Hence the "Knights for Justice" act." said C.C.

"Yeah, well everybody loves a hero, and what better hero than a knight?" asked Lelouch.

"If that doesn't prove he never cared about freeing Japan then nothing will." spat Chiba.

"He declared Japanese independence...twice." noted Anya.

"Mostly likely for selfish reasons." countered Chiba.

"I kind of doubt that's what a real knight for justice would say." said C.C. with a chuckle.

"You don't think so?" asked Lelouch jokingly.

"There's no way those two weren't banging!" declared Tamaki.

"Tamaki, shut up!" snapped Kallen red-faced.

"A bit of jealousy perhaps." mused Rakshata.

The scene then cut to Diethard the next day.

"Yes, I was demoted from my position. In very much the same way you were." noted Diethard.

Jeremiah shot him an angry glare.

"It's okay Jerry." said Anya comfortingly.

"Thank you, but this doesn't bother me anymore." replied Jeremiah gratefully.

"We have no intention of letting the situation end this way. And we have a sneaking suspicion you don't either." said Villetta.

"That's so? Well, who can say." replied Diethard.

"We have a lead that can help us find Zero." revealed Jeremiah.

"Word spreads quickly and it wasn't hard to learn Diethard seemed to have developed a fondness for Zero. It was easy to play off this to get Diethard to aid us." explained Villetta.

"You're familiar with Ashford Private Academy? I want to investigate a male student attending there. I think he may be working with Zero." explained Villetta.

"If only I knew." muttered Villetta.

"Villetta and I are going to be shipping out with the military soon for duty. And we'll be stationed in the Narita Mountains. Therefore..." stated Jeremiah.

Diethard stopped typing on his computer.

"Narita? Isn't that where the Japan Liberation Front headquarters are rumored to be located?" asked Diethard.

"Yet these rumors weren't investigated for seven years." grumbled Cornelia.

"More ineptitude from old Prince Clovis." chuckled Lloyd.

Cornelia let out an annoyed murmur.

"You may be a bit too clever for your own good." said Jeremiah.

"You overestimate me." replied Diethard smiling.

"If anything, I underestimated him." mused Jeremiah.

The scene cut to later that night. The Black Knights received their first Burai Knightmare Frames and the new recruits were blown away.

"Funny how impressed they are." mused Lloyd.

"We were using old, outdated Britannian Knightmares. This was new and Japanese made so we were really excited." explained Oghi.

The original Black Knights stood nearby in front of a unique Knightmare.

"Those guys from Kyoto. They believe in us. They sent us this." said Sugiyama proudly.

"A completely made Japanese Knightmare." said Tamaki excitedly.

"The Guren Mk-II." said Kallen.

"Oh, my pride and joy!" declared Rakshata.

Nearby, Lloyd grumbled under his breath.

"Did you check up the manuel?" asked Minami.

"I'm really loving this. The big shots in Kyoto are recognizing us. We've got their approval." said Tamaki happily.

"Or at least one member." noted Oghi.

Oghi smiled at Kaguya.

"It was not easy to get you the Guren. Kirihara and the others were determined to send it to the JLF, but I held firm eventually Kirihara conceded." explained Kaguya.

"We might not have had the success we did without the Guren. Thank you." said Kallen gratefully.

"Don't forget, a Knightmare is only as good as its pilot." noted Cornelia.

Kallen couldn't help but smile at this compliment.

"Tamaki-san, would you show me how to use this equipment here?" asked a female recruit.

"Oh, sure. Hang on, I'll be right there!" called Tamaki, taking off.

"Yeah, that's the kind of respect you get when you rolled with the Black Knights." said Tamaki proudly.

"They should be lucky something didn't go wrong." replied Rakshata.

"Hey!" snapped Tamaki.

"Newbies, what are you going to do?" asked Inoue jokingly.

The others departed leaving only Kallen. Suddenly, Zero emerged from the shadows.

"Was he just hanging out there waiting for Kallen to be alone?" asked Gino creeped out.

"First, Tamaki and Inoue. Now the others are treating this like a party." stated Zero.

"So we weren't allowed to enjoy ourselves?" asked Tamaki angrily.

"You are, but you also cannot forget this is war." answered Xingke.

"Kyoto is backing multiple resistance groups, correct?" asked Zero.

"Yes. Which means that we've made it in. They know that we're worthy." answered Kallen happily.

"No, you're wrong there Kallen. This is merely a test they've put to us." replied Zero.

"You were just testing us!" cried Tamaki stunned.

"It was the only way Lord Kirihara would send you the Guren. Besides, you passed with flying colors." shrugged Kaguya.

"So, what if it is? This is still incredible." said Kallen.

"You're an optimist." mused Zero.

"That's not necessarily a bad thing." said Oghi.

"After everything that happened, I don't know if I can still call myself an optimist." admitted Kallen flatly.

Zero threw something at Kallen who caught it.

"What is this?" asked Kallen.

Kallen looked down at the key in her hand.

"The Guren MK-II is yours now, Kallen." answered Zero.

"Mine? But, we have a lot more people now, and we can't afford to lose you. We need the Guren's defense to protect you." said Kallen uneasy.

"You're a top-notch pilot. I'm a commander. I'll use a Burai. But you're our only ace at play during a battle." explained Zero.

"Can't argue against that logic." conceded Cornelia.

"Besides, you have a reason to fight." added Zero.

Kallen winced a bit recalling her mother.

"Right." agreed Kallen.

Oghi returned with an envelope.

"Zero, you got a second? We got some weird intel from a Britannian who wants to join the Black Knights." said Oghi.

"That vulture Reid." said Villetta disgusted.

"With how large Britannia is, it's kind of surprising more Britannians didn't join." mused Rakshata.

"What do you mean?" asked Oghi confused.

"Despite the efforts of the Britannian government, not everyone would have been saude into falling in line. There had to be other Britannians who opposed what Britannia stood for." answered Xingke.

"But, if the wrong person found out then you'd be snatched away by the OSI." noted Lloyd.

"Or killed." added Villetta, thinking of Rolo.

"That's terrible." said Tianzi horrified.

"Unfortunately, the High Eunuchs were no different." sighed Xianglin.

"What?!" asked the young empress shaken.

"Don't worry, that doesn't happen anymore." noted Xingke.

"Thanks to Lelouch." added Lloyd.

"He was only doing it for his own reasons." spat Oghi.

Kaguya couldn't help but notice the look of uncertainty on Xingke's face.

"This could be a trap to draw us out." said Oghi.

Zero was looking over the intelligence provided by Diethard.

"I'd say even if we want to confirm the information it's too risky to contact him directly. But news like this isn't something we can just ignore. What do we do?" continued Oghi.

"Kaname Oghi being indecisive. That's new." whispered Jeremiah sarcastically.

Zero closed the envelope.

"This weekend, we're going hiking." answered Zero.

"What?" asked Oghi confused.

"To the Narita mountains." added Zero.

"Very well then." replied Oghi concerned.

"Prime Minister, did you know what was going on?" asked Tohdoh.

"I had an idea. We all knew the rumors of the JLF were in Narita, but we didn't know why we were going." answered Oghi.

The scene cut back to Ashford Academy. Nunnally was in her bed having just awoken. Sayoko entered the room with Nunnally's clothing.

"Sayoko, we don't need any breakfast for my brother this morning." said Nunnally

"He's going out?" asked Sayoko surprised.

"He'll be leaving on a three-day trip starting today." answered Nunnally.

"Oh, I see. My, your brother been going out quite a bit lately." noted Sayoko.

Sayoko walked over to open the curtains.

"Think it's a girlfriend?" asked Sayoko.

"Maybe it is." answered Nunnally.

"No offense, but Lelouch was never a lady killer." noted Rivalz.

"Despite having all the girls at school swooning over him." added Milly chuckling.

"I believe we were both referencing C.C." noted Nunnally.

Sayoko nodded in agreement.

"See, even his sister thought they were banging!" cried Tamaki, feeling vindicated.

Everyone wisely decided to ignore Tamaki.

"So, what exactly did you think their relationship was?" asked Kallen nervously.

"Miss C.C . was vague though she did state they brother and her were "bonded together" but, he never clarified. I never knew how they met until we saw it here." answered Nunnally.

The scene cut to the Narita mountains. It then showed a cabin were two JLF soldiers were on guard duty. One of the soldiers noted there was nothing to report while on the phone and noted the next call would be in two hours before hanging up.

"Of course, there's nothing to report. This area is controlled by the Japan Liberation Front. no one can just stroll in." said the other soldier.

"The JLF had headquarter had excellent security. Not even Lelouch could just barge his way in." said Chiba proudly.

The door opened revealing Zero.

"You were saying?" asked Lloyd with a smirk.

The soldiers jumped up grabbing their guns.

"Relax, I only came to talk." said Zero.

Zero removed his helmet while activating his Geass.

"I want you to ignore any unusual activity during your watch." ordered Lelouch.

Lelouch used his Geass and the two JLF soldiers went back to business as usual.

"Damn him. Warping the minds of our comrades." said Chiba seething.

"I must agree. Using the cursed Geass one anyone is unforgivable." said Cornelia.

"My, two opposing sides agreeing on something." mused Lloyd.

Lloyd glanced over at Sayoko, Jeremiah, and Anya.

"His majesty's plan is truly a success." whispered Jeremiah.

Nearby, a Burai received a signal.

"I've received the signal from Zero. We're now moving to Way Point 2" said Oghi.

The Black Knights began to move.

"Hey, why doesn't Zero just use the radio in his Burai?" asked Tamaki.

"And what do you suppose he meant when he said hiking?" asked Inoue.

"Military training, right." answered Minami unsure.

"Only with Zero and in another location?" asked Tamaki.

"All this time and you still don't fully trust Zero." mused Xingke.

"The guy wouldn't even tell us who he was. Of course, we'd think he was shady." said Tamaki.

"You had no problem with his results." noted Xingke.

"That was different. Lelouch clearly did have trust in us so we couldn't have trust un him." protested Oghi.

Kallen was shown in the cockpit of the Guren studying the manual of her new weapon.

"Maybe we'll dig a hot spring." said Sugyiama.

"Is that why we brought all those excavators? Then hell I'm all for it." said Yoshida.

"Kallen, have you heard anything about this?" asked Tamaki.

"I haven't." answered Kallen.

"You Oghi?" asked Tamaki.

"Nope, not a word." answered Oghi.

"He was probably worried you would backout if you knew you would be fighting Princess Cornelia." noted Jeremiah.

"Of course, he lured us into the mountains and now expected us to face Cornelia without telling us! That's insane!" declared Tamaki.

"But we did win." noted Kallen.

"Zero wasn't using the radio to avoid being traced. Is he serious about this?" asked Oghi.

"So, you had figured out his plan." mused Tohdoh.

"Like I said, we knew about the rumors of the JLF being based in Narita and we went there armed for battle. I figured we wouldn't fight the JLF so I figured it had to do something with Britannia." explained Oghi.

"My intelligent Prime Minister." said Villeta, in a loving voice.

The scene returned to Lelouch reading a book.

"The day I've waited for has finally come, Cornelia." said Lelouch.

"To answer Oghi's question, I believe that is a yes." noted Rakshata.

Lelouch spotted something outside which was revealed to be C.C.

"Of course, he brings his ho." spat Tamaki.

"they were not together!" declared Kallen blushing.

"Anymore red and your face will match the Guren's paint." chuckled Rakshata.

"I...um..." stammered Kallen embarrassed.

The scene cut to a G-1 base on the move.

"We're certain the Japan Liberation Front headquarters are located in this area." began Darlton.

The scene then showed a map.

"We've already split four battalions into seven units and hidden them in the vicinity. We're only to wait for the viceroy's signal then we'll surround them in one fell swoop and wipe them out." concluded Darlton.

It was revealed Darlton was with several officers and Princess Euphemia. Corenlia was on her throne wit Guildford next to her.

"And are you confident that the enemy won't show up outside the encirclement line?" asked Euphemia.

"You mean Zero?" asked Cornelia nonchalantly.

"Have no fear about that. As the operation begins, we'll be blocking off the surrounding highways and mountain routes also." answered Darlton.

"Plus, we have reserve units. If Zero is stupid enough to show up, it'll be the end of him.

"How'd that work out!?" asked Tamaki boasting.

"Unfortunately, I drastically underestimated Zero." admitted Cornelia.

"Did have any idea that Zero was Lelouch?" asked Tohdoh.

"At this time, I did not." answered Cornelia.

"What do you mean, "at this time" exactly?" asked Xingke curiously.

"Darlton would hypothesize that Zero was somebody wore bore a grudge against the Imperial family. With how he was exiled and knowing his intelligence, that did make me think of Lelouch. However, I was still under the belief he was deceased." explained Cornelia.

Cornelia let out a sad chuckle.

"Or...maybe I didn't want to accept the truth." said the former princess.

The scene changed to Ashford Academy. Milly and Nina were in the student council room with Milly seated on the table while the two had a conversation.

"What? You want to meet here? Are you kidding? Do you know who you're talking about?" asked Milly.

It was shown Nina was looking at pictures of Princess Euphemia.

"She's a princess and you're just a citizen. What do you have in common aside from that hotel hijacking?" continued Milly.

"Nina, I should have handled that more tastefully." said Milly apologetic.

"It's okay." replied Nina.

"Yes but, as for Princess Euphemia...I never got to thank her." noted Nina.

Milly seemed to be more sympathetic now.

"There was a time when my family

"There was a time when my family name could arrange that." stated Milly.

Milly began kicking her legs.

"So, tell me Nina, what do you what the social status of a principal's granddaughter is?" asked Milly.

"Um, not a very high one?" asked Nina.

Milly stopped kicking her legs.

"Correct. not very." confirmed Milly.

"Nina's request made me think of how fall my family had fallen after Empress Marianne had died and I think that bothered me." mused Milly.

The scene returned to Lelouch and C.C. at Narita.

"C.C., what are you doing here?" asked Lelouch.

C.C. turned around to face her accomplice.

"I said I would protect you, didn't I?" asked C.C.

"When Lelouch was at Saitama, Miss C.C. told...somebody that she was not his babysitter. Yet, she appears to be doing just that." said Kaguya.

"Whatever their agreement is, she is determined to protect Lelouch. First, dressing as Zero in Saitama and now following him to Narita." continued Xingke.

"It's because they were banging!" declared Tamaki.

Again, everyone wisely chose to ignore him.

"I want to know exactly what their little deal was." confessed Kallen uneasy.

"I think we all do." agreed Oghi.

"I still want to know who she was talking to." noted Gino.

Anya balled her fists knowing exactly who it was.

"Aren't you overdoing it?" asked Lelouch.

"I've been wondering about something Lelouch." began C.C.

C.C. again faced away from her accomplice.

"Why are you Lelouch?" asked C.C.

"I don't have time to discuss philosophy with you." replied Lelouch.

"You changed your family surname to Lamperouge but you kept Lelouch the name that was given to you at birth. How sentimental. You can't let go of the past." said C.C.

"What the hell are they talking about?" asked Tamaki confused.

"Where exactly did Lamperouge come from?" asked Oghi.

"That was the surname of Lady Marianne before she married the Emperor." answered Cornelia.

"Who named him Lelouch? Was his Emperor Charles or Lady Marianne?" asked Kaguya.

"I believe Lady Marianne named Lelouch and Nunnally." answered Cornelia.

"That might be why. His mother gave him those names so he couldn't bring himself to change them." said Oghi understanding.

"It's not surprising. Lady Marianne was an excellent mother to Lelouch and Nunnally." said Cornelia.

Nunnally sat highly conflicted while this praise of Marianne made Anya sick.

"Well, C.C. swings to the other extreme, doesn't it? It's not a human name." said Lelouch.

C.C. spun her head back to face Lelouch. A wild blew blowing snow passed.

"Lelouch, do you know why snow is white? Snow is white because it's forgotten what color it's supposed to be." said C.C.

"I can't follow this crap." complained Tamaki.

"C.C. is talking about herself." noted Minami annoyed.

"From what she said, it sounds like Miss C.C. didn't consider herself very human." mused Kaguya.

"She is a witch spreading that cursed Geass." stated Villetta disgusted.

"Why wouldn't she consider herself human?" asked Rivalz.

"I would guess she suffered a lot in her life and that would explain her icy demeanor." answered Nunnally.

The scene cut back to the G1 base as the Britannian forces prepared their assault.

"All units are in position." noted a solider over the radio.

Inside her Knightmare, Cornelia was ready for battle.

"Understood. Euphemia will provide logistical support from the G1 as planned. Have her command medical group.

"Yes, your highness." replied the soldier.

"Princess Cornelia..." began Guilford over the radio.

"Guilford, let me guess. This is about Euphie, isn't it?" asked Cornelia.

"Yes. She really should be in a government agency, not." began Guilford.

Cornelia smiled and shook her head.

"But she's being unusually stubborn about this. She told me she wanted to see actual combat for herself." replied Cornelia.

"She was in a non-combatant role so I don't see the problem." said Oghi.

"She was royalty and had no training so having her present could be a danger." explained Guilford.

"And Cornelia couldn't say no to "Sweet, little Euphemia" too." laughed Tamaki.

Cornelia jumped to her feet.

"How dare you!" cried Cornelia outraged.

Guilford also got up.

"I will not allow this disrespect of Princess Cornelia to go unabated." added Guilford.

"Woah!" cried Tamaki afraid.

"Enough! There will be no violence!" declared Zero.

Corenlia and Guilf sat back down glaring at Tamaki.

"Now, let us continue." said Zero.

The scene showed Euphemia inside the G1 with several officers. Euphemia noticed something on the map.

"What's that unit there holding to the rear?" asked Euphemia.

"Our reserve force with an Eleven pilot." answered the officer.

"What? You mean that's the Lancelot?" asked Euphemia surprised.

"As a rule, Numbers aren't permitted to operate Knightmares. But that particular unit is an exception." explained another officer.

"The Second Prince is the patron of that unit." continued the officer.

The scene then showed the Lancelot in its transport.

"We have no say over their personnel selection. But he said he wants them to have as many chances at real combat as possible" concluded the officer.

"It seems Prince Schneizel has taken a keen interest in Suzaku." noted Rakshata.

"But, why?" asked Sugiyma.

"He likely saw his potential as a pilot." answered Gino.

"No. He was using me and I fell for it." thought Suzaku.

The scene returned to the mountains where the Black Knights' excavators were at work.

"Are you really going through with this?" asked Oghi uncertain.

"Our opponent is Cornelia, whose forces are among the best Britannia has to offer." answered Zero.

"Then why don't we cooperate with the Japan Liberation Front?" asked Oghi under his breath.

"He didn't give a damn about Japan." answered Chiba bitterly.

Tohdoh nodded his head in agreement.

"In all likelihood, Lelouch viewed the Japan Liberation Front as not even a player in his game." said Tohdoh.

"Yet he got closer to freeing Japan in a short time than the JLF did in seven years." muttered Kaguya.

"What was that? Oghi, don't you believe in me anymore?" asked Zero.

"Classic emotional manipulation." mused Rakshata.

"What do you mean? I was the one who asked you to be our leader, don't you remember?" asked Oghi surprised.

"Then, there's only one answer to give." stated Zero.

"Right." replied Oghi flatly.

"Man, Prime Minister, you were defeated pretty easily." stated Gino.

'Watch your tongue!" snapped Chiba.

"Lelouch uses a bit of manipulation and Oghi folded like oragami." continued Gino.

"Enough." stated Oghi flatly.

Chiba reluctantly backed off.

"I thought a Prime Minister was supposed to be a spine." murmured Chiba.

The scene cut to Cornelia in her Knightmare.

"Viceroy, its time." said Darlton over the radio.

"Right. Commence operation." ordered Cornelia.

Cornelia launched out in her Knightmare.

"You, the Japan Liberation Front. You, who time has left behind. You, who have forgotten basic human decency. You are your dream of a bygone golden age such rot to nothingess." said Cornelia, as the Britannian forces moved out.

Cornelia could feel the glares

"Japan wasn't exactly a perfect country before the occupation though they shouldn't be an excuse." said Cornelia.

"Japan was a homogenous, democracy." protested Oghi.

"Japan was not or it is now homogenous. The Ryukyuan and Ainu people would disagree." noted Cornelia.

"Not to mention the discrimination that the Burakumin." added Guilford.

"The what now?" asked Gino confused.

"An untouchable bottom caste similar to the Dalit." answered Rakshata.

"That ended with the feudal era." scoffed Tamaki.

"Actually, it was still an issue in certain regions of Japan. Most the Kansai region." noted Tohdoh flatly.

"There was also racism directed toward other foreigners including Koreans and ethnic Chinese." noted Lloyd.

"What?" asked Tianzi surprised.

"Japan and China have a...tumultuous relationship." noted Kaguya gingerly.

"I believe there was a practice called Chikan involved groping women on trains." added Lloyd.

"We tried to tackle that issue." states Oghi.

"Yet it was popularized in pornography if I recall." noted Rakshata.

"Like I said, this does not justify the invasion of Japan, but it would be wrong to ignore these issues." said Cornelia.

"I guess we have work to do." sighed Oghi.

The scene cut to inside the JLF headquarters as they had discovered the onslaught.

"We're under enemy attack?" asked Katase horrified.

"Yes sir. The Britannian forces have completely encircled the Narita mountains. We've counted over a hundred units." answered a soldier.

"Quite the show of force." said Xingke.

"When you want to kill a snake, you cut off the head. And you use as much force as you need." replied Cornelia, who could help but smile.

The scene cut to Zero and the Black Knights watching the Britannian forces move.

"It's begun." noted Zero.

"Huh? What the hell?" asked Tamaki.

Tamaki turned to face his lead.

"You've got to be kidding Zero. Those troops coming in have this whole area totally surrounded. There's no way out." noted Tamaki dumbstuck.

"We've already been cut off. Our only chance of surviving now is to fight." answered Zero.

"Cutting of your retreat is an old strategy, but one has easily could backfire. Lelouch was confident in victory." said Xingke.

"Does that mean he trusted us?" asked Mianmi confused.

"He was confident in himself." answered Oghi disgusted.

"Regardless, it was a gutsy move." stated Xianglin.

"Fortune favors the bold." replied Jeremiah.

"What? We can't fight the Britannians." said Inoue, worried.

"Let me get this straight, we're surrounded and you want us to fight them head on?" asked Tamaki.

"And we'll be fighting Cornelia. Her forces are far stronger than any we've encountered." added Sugiyama.

"Correct, it would be a miracle if we win this." replied Zero.

"Zero, what are you saying?" asked Oghi worried.

"Even messiahs need to perform miracles if they're to be acknowledged. Therefore, we have to produce our own miracle, don't we?" answered Zero.

"I doubt people who have followed Jesus if he didn't raise the dead or walk on water." said Lloyd.

"He never stood against an army." replied Rivalz.

"He proved himself through his miracles and Christianity is the largest religion in the world. Zero pulled off miracles and amassed a similar following. I don't think Zero would have been as popular if he hasn't." explained Cecile.

"Now look, pulling this off isn't going to be cheap! The price could be our lives! I knew it was insane to make you our leader! It should be me!" cried Tamaki.

"And the Black Knights wouldn't have lasted an hour.' said Rakshata.

"Hey!" cried Tamaki, offended.

Tamaki pulled out his gun, but Zero produced a pistol and Oghi stepped aside. However, Zero then turned the gun around.

"Our path of retreat has been cut off. if you think you can in without me then shoot me! Someone, anyone." said Zero.

Tamaki was left frozen with a shocked expression on his face. This was shared by the other Black Knights.

"Since you've joined the Black Knights, you have only two choices: You may either life with me or perish with me." said Zero.

"Now I wonder what would have happened if someone did shoot Lelouch." chuckled Gino.

"I would have done the world a favor!" declared Tamaki.

"For once, he's actually right." sighed Chiba.

At the JLF headquarters, it was chaos as the Britannian onslaught was overwhelming the Japanese rebels.

"General Katase, we've received a message from Cornelia's forces demanding our surrender." noted a JLF soldier.

"Imbecile. If we fall here, then we've lost and the whole resistance movement falls with us." said Katase.

"Someone has a high opinion of himself." mused Lloyd.

"What do you mean?" asked Tohdoh, offended yet keeping his composure.

"He didn't fall here, but he fell not that long after at Port Yokosuka. Yet, the Japanese resistance continued merely with a new leader." explained Lloyd.

"Then general, do we engage the enemy in battle or do we dig in?" asked a JLF soldier.

"What about Tohdoh. Where is he?" asked Katase.

"He's got to Kyoto to get the custom Burais." answered a JLF soldier.

The scene showed the JLF returning from Kyoto. In the front car, Chiba drove while Tohdoh sat with his eyes closed while a concerned Asahina was behind them.

"If they're on schedule, they should be back in time but..." began a JLF soldier.

"Tohdoh won't make it in time." added a second JLF soldier.

"Did you know we were not present or was your timing pure chance?" asked Tohdoh.

"A lady has her secrets." answered Cornelia.

Tohdoh seemed amused by this response.

"Prepare to send out the Burais. We'll break the encirclement on one side and evacuate. We'll show them the Japanese spirit and pride. This is our moment of truth." stated Katase.

"Quite the do or die situation." mused Xingke.

"I must admit, I can respect the warrior's spirit being shown." admitted Cornelia.

The scene returned to the G-1 base where an officer was catching Euphemia up to date.

"We believe the enemy's main base, but we haven't pinpointed it yet. However, that until we obtain a list of their collaborators we can't burn everything down with our aerial bombing." explained a captain.

"Didn't seem to stop you in Shinjuku...or Saitama for that matter." noted Lloyd smirking.

"The enemy is engaging our encirclement; they'll try to break through at some point. From there we'll be able to ascertain where their base is." added a second officer.

"My, this was a well put devised plan." noted Rakshata.

"Hey, the Japanese still won!" declared Tamaki.

"No, you guys won. The JLF would have been toast if you weren't there." replied Gino.

"Diethard delivered the information so he deserved credit as well." added Anya.

"Our forces are divided into three fronts: General Darlton here, General Alex here, and Viceroy Cornelia here." continued the officer, "As for our flanking forces..."

The officer was cut off as the map began to go haywire.

"It's enemy ECM." noted an officer.

"And that is..." began Rivalz confused.

"Electronic countermeasure. We used digital radio frequency memory to jam the Britannian radar." explained Tohdoh.

"Thanks to help from Kyoto." added Kaguya, with a wink.

The scene cut to General Darlton on the battlefield.

"The main enemy forces should be coming out anytime now. We're switching to ECCM mode. Link up on channel Four Alpha." ordered Darlton.

"ECCM stands for Electronic counter countermeasure. Essentially, we're countering their radar jamming." noted Guilford.

"Thanks." replied Rivalz.

"The enemy, what are we calling them again?" asked Darlton.

"Burais, sir." answered a soldier.

"Right, they're rather like pseudo-Glasgow so watch out for them." replied Darlton.

"Yes, My lord." said the soldier.

The scene then cut to the front lead by Princess Cornelia.

"How clever, they turned this whole mountain into a fortress." said Cornelia.

"General Tohdoh played a major role in our defenses." said Chiba smiling.

"I should have guessed." replied Cornelia.

"Your Highness, please fall back." requested Guilford.

"Guilford, don't treat me as though I'm another one of your women." said Cornelia exasperated.

"What does that mean?" asked Xianglin curious.

"Lord Guilford has a reputation as quite the ladies man." answered Gino.

"My loyalty is only to Princess Cornelia." stated Guilford.

Princess Cornelia charged headfirst at a trio of JFL Burais.

"Princess Cornelia!" cried Guilford worried.

"It's Cornelia." noted the JLF soldier worried.

"Don't panic. Take out their leader." said a second JLF soldier.

"Insolent worms!" exclaimed Cornelia.

Despite the number advantage, the JLF members were no match for Princess Cornelia who made quick work of them before taking out a JLF turret.

"That's our Goddess of Victory." said Guilford smiling.

"Right, well then I'll cover you from the rear." said Guilford.

"Hem, well Cornelia is here. Is there no one who will challenge me?" asked Cornelia.

The scene returned to the Black Knights.

"What's wrong. Challenge me and try to take me down." said Zero.

"An intentional parallel it seems." mused Cornelia.

"All right fine, do what you want." said Tamaki.

"We acknowledge you are our leader, Zero." added Sugiyama.

"Thank you very much. I appreciate it." said Zero, as it showing Lelouch smiling.

"Backing down so easy." teased Lloyd.

"He put us on the spot!" cried Tamaki defensively.

"Exactly the point." noted Xingke.

"Typical of Lelouch to play mind games with us." said Oghi disgusted.

The scene showed a tank with a loudspeaker telling everyone who could listen an evacuation was in order. To the side, a man saw the tank and walked toward a building. Inside, he a group of other scientists were huddled and talking worriedly about the situation.

"Why did they have to choose this place?" asked a scientist, worried.

"If the military should find the experimental data on Code R, it's all over." said another scientist.

"Oh my. Being inside the terrorist area, we thought it would be difficult for them to discover us." noted a scientist.

"This was all General Bartley's decision, so there's no use in complaining about it." stated a scientist.

"Jeremiah, did you find anything about Code R after you took over Area 11?" asked Gino.

"It seems General Bartley had everything about Code R destroyed immediately following the death of Prince Clovis." answered Jeremiah.

The scene returned to the battlefield as Cornelia continued to make easy work of her JLF enemies.

"They're too fragile." noted Cornelia.

"Before anyone gets mad, I was just indicating this was likely not the area where the JLF main base was based on the lower-than-expected resistance we found." explained Cornelia.

The scene cut to Darlton and his forces.

"The enemy seems to be concentrated over here. This maybe the target. Split up now." ordered Darlton.

The Britannian forces split up and continued to decimate the JLF.

"No good. Our second attack wave had no affect." noted a JLF soldier.

"Their sheer dominance is insurmountable." stated Katase worried.

"Not really surprising considering the JLF were fighting a county that controlled a vast amount of the known world." noted Rakshata.

"We still beat them here!" declared Tamaki.

"General Katase said their odds were insurmountable. Yet, Lelouch pull ed off another miracle and delivered what the JLF could not. For all his wrongdoings, his strategic brilliance cannot be denied." said Kaguya.

"General Darlton, based on analysis of the enemy's movements, I've determined that t the entry to the enemy base is that lodge located up on the mountain." stated a Britannian soldier.

"I hope that guy got rewarded for that." said Gino.

"Unfortunately, he was killed in the landslide that you will likely see momentarily." replied Cornelia.

Kallen winced at the mention of the landslide knowing what was to come.

"I believe the proper word for this situation would be "bingo"." said Darlton.

"Well, to be more precise sir..." began the soldier.

"Oh, just call it in already, Mr. Literal." ordered Darlton amused.

Cornelia and Guilford could help but miss their old colleague. Even Suzaku felt bad for Darlton.

"General Darlton, you treated me as a person not a Number. Thank you." whispered Suzaku.

The Britannian soldier fired off a flare.

"Is that...Darlton?" asked Cornelia.

"So, that's where the main enemy base is located?" asked Guilford.

"Right. We'll be securing our position here." stated Cornelia.

"Are you sure about this?" asked Guilford curiously.

"I don't need to steal achievements from my subordinates." answered Cornelia

"A noble course of action." stated Xingke.

"Only a pathetic commander would take credit for his subordinates' actions." said Cornelia.

Cornelia could help but smile fondly thinking of her fallen comrade.

"Besides, Darlton was an outstanding general and deserved as the success he achieved." added Cornelia.

Send the reserve force to backup Darlton. Looks like he'll be getting another medal." said Cornelia.

"And I would have proudly awarded it to him if this battle had ended here." sighed Cornelia.

The scene cut to Zero in his Knightmare as he studied the Britannian movements.

"Impressive as always Cornelia. A very logical deployment." said Lelouch.

Lelouch removed his mask.

"However excellent thought it is, it's also easy to ready your location." added Lelouch.

"Unfortunately, he was right." noted Cornelia defeated.

"You didn't know Zero was your brother. We weren't even sure if he was going to show up at Narita." replied Guilford.

"I don't need excuses. Lelouch saw through my strategy and beat me here." admitted Cornelia.

The former second princess couldn't help but feel impressed.

"Lady Marianne would have been proud of your military prowess." thought Cornelia.

The scene cut to the Purist Faction who were downgraded to reserve forces.

"I thought the reserve units were supposed to be assigned to General Darlton." said Jeremiah unhappily.

"That's right, they were, but our unit has to secure the rear line of Princess Cornelia." replied Villetta.

"You mean this is the rear line?" asked Jeremiah, surprised.

"If it hadn't been for Orange, you'd be with General Darlton knocking on the front door of the JLF." mused Gino, amused.

"Yes, but then I never could have fulfilled my loyalty." whispered Jeremiah proudly.

"You can't get any further from the battlefield. How am I going to redeem my reputation out here if I'm not even near the fighting?" asked Jeremiah distressed.

"Only sad, thinking only of my reputation. I had yet to be shown the bigger picture and embrace my loyalty." said Jeremiah softly.

The scene returned to the JFL where the outlook was grime as officers and entire units were being destroyed.

"Where's Tohdoh? If only he were here the divine wind would blow. We'd have another miracle of Itsukushima." said Katase worried.

"General, I hope you can forgive my absence as such a crucial time." thought Tohdoh solemnly.

Outside the city, a pair of trucks barreled through the roadblock causing two Britannian soldiers to scatter.

"Sir, don't you think this a bit extreme?" asked Asahina.

"Asahina, Chiba, prep the custom Burais ASAP. Tell Urabe and Senba behind us to do the same. Traffic is blocked off all around Narita. They've already begun to attack. I pray we're in time." ordered Tohdoh.

"Very astute." mused Gino.

"What else can be expected from the one man who handed Britannia its only lose during the invasion." shrugged Cornelia.

"Hey General, how about a dual later?" asked Gino eagerly.

"I accept you offer." answered Tohdoh.

Back at Narita, the Britannians began their final assault on the JLF HQ.

"Now any resistance remaining in Area 11..." began Darlton.

"Will soon be finished." concluded Cornelia.

"Geez, did you guys plan that out?" asked Tamaki.

"Darlton and I had been together for so long by this point it would surprise me if weren't thinking the same thing." answered Cornelia, with a faint smile.

The scene returned to the Black Knights.

"Right, all preparations have been complete. Black Knights, Prepare to move out." ordered Zero.

With their backs against the wall, the Black Knights had no choice but to rally behind their leader.

"All the hesitation vanished quickly. Almost like you easily flipped sides." said Lloyd.

Some people understood what Lloyd was really talking about while others didn't.

"We the Black Knights are going to launch a surprise attack on the Britannian from the summit of the mountain. Per my instructions, you will charge down point three. And the intent of this operation is to capture Cornelia, second Princess of Britannia." explained Zero.

"Should they have helped the JLF?" asked Tianzi confused.

"Don't forget your majesty, Lelouch didn't care about Japan." answered Oghi angrily.

"Prime Minister, in chess what is the objective?" asked Jeremiah.

"To capture the enemy's king." answered Oghi, understanding the metaphor.

"Our breakthrough route will be opened by the Guren Mk-II. Kallen, use penetrating electrode number three. Settle things with one blow." concluded Zero.

"Got it." said Kallen.

Kallen began feeling violently ill as she watched what was happening.

"Output confirmed. Wave surger level is ready and holding." reported Kallen.

The redhead let out a sigh.

"Activating gauntlet now." said Kallen.

Kallen activated the gauntlet and waited. After a few moments, the ground began shaking.

"It worked!" declared Kallen happily.

Kallen felt bile rushing up her esophagus watching how happy she had been.

A massive landslide was triggered which quickly rushed down the mountain obliterating the unsuspecting Britannian soldiers.

"What's happening?" asked Euphemia.

"Impossible. How could a landslide come out of nowhere?" asked a Britannian officer.

"Alex and Darlton's groups are getting wiped out." noted another officer.

Darlton was struggling to escape the landslide.

"Climb. Get to higher ground." ordered Darlton.

Nearby, Cornelia watched the devastation.

"Status report!" ordered Cornelia.

"We're still trying to confirm!" declared a soldier.

"Your highness, fall back. You're in danger here." said Guilford urgently.

"I don't care. Forget about me." replied Cornelia, "Find out about Darlton. And where's Alex?"

"One little landslide and the most powerful army in the world is thrown on its butt." whistled Gino.

"We can hardly be blamed for not expecting that." noted Cornelia annoyed.

"Still, using the terrain to his advantage like that was an ingenius move by Lelouch." conceded Xingke.

In the JLF HQ, the effected of the landslide were being felt.

"Will this place hold together?" asked Katase.

"This central area should make it through." answered a soldier.

"Japan is prone to earthquake which factored into to building our headquarters." revealed Tohdoh.

Lloyd and Cecile were observing the landslide from their position.

"Oh my, at this rate they'll be swept all the way to the bottom." noted Lloyd.

"These heat readings are abnormal. Do you believe a hydrovolcanic eruption are artificially induced?" asked Cecile concerned.

"Impossible. Unless of course, someone's used Rakshata's Radiant Wave Surger." answered Lloyd.

"Guilty are charged." said Rakshata proudly.

"How did you get here all the way from India?" asked Rivalz.

"It was no problem. Mostly a matter of finding the right people to bribe." answered Rakshata.

"Hey, has something happened?" asked Suzaku.

"But it has nothing to do with us. So just relax and keep waiting." answered Lloyd.

The landslide swept intyo the city killing two Britannian soldiers.

"Oh God." squeaked Kallen.

Kallen ran over to a nearby trash can and began vomiting.

"Are you okay?" asked Oghi worried.

"Our friend Shirley...her father was killed by that landslide." answered Milly solemnly.

The heavy news hung in the air.

"I killed him. Shirley was my friend and I killed her father." said Kallen, full of guilt.

"Why was he in Narita?" asked Anya.

Mily walked over to Kallen and rubbed her back.

"He was a geologist. Shirley said he was studying fault lines to help better prepare the Settlement in case there was a major earthquake." explained Milly.

Milly had noticed Kallen wasn't vomiting anymore.

"Are you feeling better?" asked Milly softly.

"Not really." answered Kallen grimly.

"See, that's what Lelouch was about. Manipulating people into doing his bidding even if it meant killing innocent people." spat Chiba.

"I'm sure you did your fair share of killing." noted Rakshata.

"On the battlefield. This is different." replied Chiba.

"Lelouch didn't know Shirley's dad would be there." protested Rivalz.

"Are you sure?" asked Chiba.

A pregnant pause followed

"Lelouch wouldn't do that..right?" asked Kallen to herself.

Kallen gulped nervously and sat back down.

"I'm ready to continue." stated Kallen.

"Are you sure?" asked Nunnally.

"I need to see this through." answered Kallen firmly.

The scene then cut to Lelouch.

"Heh. It's even more destructive than I anticipated." noted Lelouch.

The aftermath of the landslide was shown.

"We did succeed in isolating Cornelia's unit but we could have been a bit more accurate. Perhaps I should have consulted a physics teacher. Or ask Nina to tutor me in probability." mused Lelouch.

Nina winced at the mention of her.

"It's okay Nina. You had nothing to do with this." whispered Cecile.

"I've already caused enough suffering." muttered Nina guilty.

The scene returned to Cornelia's unit.

"New enemy forces moving in from the summit. Carius unit moving into engage them." reported a soldier.

"Hoping to take advantage of all the confusion, are they?" asked Cornelia.

"Emergency call from Carius unit." reported the soldier.

"What's wrong?" asked Cornelia.

"It's not the Japan Liberation Front. They think it's...the Black Knights." answered the soldier.

"What?" Then it's..." began Cornelia.

"Zero!" exclaimed Jeremiah excitedly.

"Geez, someone's obsessed." muttered Mianmi.

"Reminds me of that Diethard guy." added Sugyiama.

"How dare he show up here! Zero!" cried Jeremiah.

Jeremiah immediately took off.

"Lord Jeremiah, you just can't abandon your post!" warned Villetta.

"That's definitely a court martial." noted Gino.

"You were court martialed." noted Anya.

"It was one time!' declared Gino defensively.

"This requires drastic measure! If you want glory in life, then follow me!" declared Jeremiah.

"Now there's the spirit!" laughed Lloyd.

Jeremiah watched his past self with a mixture of amusement and pity.

"If only I knew." sighed Jeremiah.

"What would have done if you did?" asked Sayoko curiously.

"Fulfil my loyal and serve his majesty." answered Jeremiah proudly.

The scene showed the Black Knights advancing.

"Cornelia has only limited reinforcements headed her way. Smash right through them!" ordered Zero.

"Yeah, we can do this now!" declared a Black Knight.

The Black Knight eliminated a Britannian Knightmare before switching to Inoue.

"Alright everybody, you know the game plan. Our job is to watch their backs. Ready, fire!" said Inoue.

The Black Knights members fired destroying a Britannian tank as Carius unit was destroyed.

"The enemy's taken out Carius unit?" asked Jeremiah.

"And quite easily." said Lloyd, amused.

"If I finish this before Zero reaches Princess Cornelia, I'll be golden." stated Jeremiah.

Jeremiah's radio crackled.

"Lord Jeremiah." said Villetta.

"Villetta you came. I knew you would." said Jeremiah happily.

"Villetta, you were my only true friend at this time. I thank you." said Jeremiah.

"Honestly, you were my only real friend at the time too. So...it's nothing." shrugged Villetta.

The scene then showed Lelouch.

"Burn the bridges behind you, and keep your back to the wall. Classic strategies remain effective ones, don't they?" asked Lelouch.

"Geez, Shirley was right about Lelouch not applying himself more at school.

"Lelouch was trained by the best tutors in the empire. No offense, but I doubt his teachers at Ashford could teach him anything he didn't know." replied Cornelia.

"It's fine. Besides, I think there's more to it." said Milly.

"What do you mean?" asked Rivalz.

"Lelouch went through a lot. I think his aloof attitude at school was just masking his emotional wounds." answered Milly.

"Masking. What a fitting way to put it." mused Lloyd.

"Zero." said Jeremiah with vengeance.

Jeremiah took out the two units with Zero forcing their pilots to eject.

"Is Zero here? If is his, then face me. Come and fight Jeremiah Gottwald!" exclaimed Jeremiah.

"Well, well. It's been a while, Jeremiah. So, you're still in the army?" asked Zero.

The scene showed Lelouch in his Knightmares.

"I'd love to stay and catch up, but I'm afraid I don't have the time right this minute, Orange Boy." said Lelouch.

Jeremiah smiled as his insult turned badge of honor.

"Orange? Die!" cried Jeremiah, outraged.

Jeremiah attacked but was immediately disarmed by the Guren Mk-II. Having lost his assault rifle, Jeremiah broke out his stun tonfa.

"Lord Jeremiah." said Villetta worried.

"Stay out of it. This is my duel." ordered Jeremiah.

"But look at it. I've never seen a Knightmare like that before." said Villetta, "Is it possible the Elevens..."

"You think the Elevens have such technology?" asked Jeremiah.

"Turns we were." said Chiba proudly.

"Didn't Miss Rakshata make it?" asked Guilford.

"But it had a Japanese pilot." noted Tohdoh.

Kallen blushed at the attention.

"And a damn good one at that." said Gino, trying to be smooth.

Kallen again elbowed Gino in the ribs.

"It was a compliment." whined Gino.

Jeremiah attacked, but the Guren was able to easily out maneuver his Sutherland.

"It's fast." noted Jeremiah surprised.

Guren went on the offensive.

"This thing, this what just Carius' unit?" asked Jeremiah.

"Yeah, that's right Britannia. We can finally go up against on equal footing head on. And counter attack begins with this baby, the Guren Mk-II." said Kallen fiercely.

Kallen attcked attemptin to grab Jeremiah with the right hand of her Guren. The Britannian noticed the Radiant Wave Surger on the hand.

"Oh hell! There's something on its right hand." noted Jeremiah worried.

Jeremiah fell back to create space between him and the Guren.

"But if i keep my distance." began Jeremiah.

Jeremiah was interrupted as Kallen extended the arm of the Guren.

"What's this?" asked Jeremiah, surprised.

Kallen grabbed the head of Jeremiah's Sutherland.

"Sorry." said Kallen.

Kallen activated the Radiant Wave Surger which began to fry Jeremiah's Sutherland.

"What the hell's happening?" asked Jeremiah horrified.

"Lord Jeremiah, eject." said Villetta urgently.

"I can't run right now. Zero's right in front of me. He's standing rigth there." replied Jeremiah.

Jeremiah's auto-eject activated.

"Damn it! The auto-eject! Don't you dare activate! I can still get Zero! I know it! I can still get him!" exclaimed Jeremiah frantically.

Jeremiah ejected as his Sutherland exploded.

"I won't lose! Not with this...the Guren Mk-II!" declared Kallen.

In her cockpit, a stunned Villeta sat.

"She defeated Lord Jeremiah. Who are the Black Knights? Who are they, these warriors?" asked Villetta shaken.

It then cut to Lelouch.

"All our tasks at hand have been cleared. The pieces are in position. All I have to do is check my opponent's stronghold.

The scene showed a concerned Cornelia before ending.

"It seems Lelouch had really turned the tables on you." mused Rakshata interested.

"I wasn't surprised he showed up. However, I foolishly underestimated him." replied Cornelia.

"I believe it is safe to say we all did." stated Tohdoh.

"Jerry, you're lucky to be alive." noted Anya.

"Indeed. Cursing my auto-pilot was a mistake as it would have kept me from fulfilling my loyalty.' agreed Jeremiah.

"Lilycia was elated when you survived." noted Villetta.

"Who?" asked Rivalz.

"My sister." answered Jeremiah.

"She was heartbroken by your death and left inconsolable." continued Villetta.

"Reminds me of Lady Gabrielle." said Cornelia sadly.

Kallen felt her hear race.

"Lelouch...please prove you weren't evil." begged Kallen silently.

A/N: That's where we'll end things for now. Watching back the episode for this, Milly came off as kind of bitchy during her scene with Nina. Am I the only one who sees it that way? Marianne's surname being Lamperouge is a popular fan theory and one I subscribe to so I added that. Also, it turns out there was a battle of Itsukushima (aka Miyajima) during the Sengoku era. Lady Gabrielle is Clovis' canon mother Gabrielle la Britannia. Next time, the events of "Battle for Narita" are covered. Please review.
