Daphne Greengrass was a woman with a mission in mind. Theodore Nott had been missing for two months and she wanted him back. Now. Although they had broken up a while before he had disappeared, he was still hers, damn it, and Daphne wasn't someone who let what she wanted escape her grasp this easily.

And she wanted Theo back.

Walking with a purpose, Daphne walked towards Theo's office. She had a feeling that McMillan McMillan knew something about Theo's disappearance. She had a small vial of illegally brewed Veritaserum with McMillan's name on it.

Her robes were perfectly pressed and the heels she wore were tasteful. If everything else failed, Daphne was ready to seduce McMillan into admitting the truth.

She knew where the curse-breakers office was as she had visited Theo many times, so it was easy sneaking into the department without anyone paying her any attention. Soon, she reached Theo's office, which had been taken over by McMillan after Theo's disappearance. She knocked on the door and entered before anyone could reply.

Daphne wasn't surprised to see McMillan at one of the desks, looking like he owned the place.

"Well, hello there, McMillan," Daphne purred and was delighted at the flush that marred McMillan's ugly face.

"He-hello, Daphne." If Daphne didn't want answers so badly, she would have rolled her eyes at his stutter.

"I was hoping you could help me with something," she cooed, swaying her hips as she approached his table. She leaned over to flash him her tastefully visible cleavage as she perched on the edge of the table. "It's about Theo…"

McMillan paled instantly and Daphne knew she had hit the jackpot. No one seemed to know where Theo was, but McMillan's reaction made her think he knew exactly where Theo was. They had been working together, so the probability was very high; Daphne was surprised Draco hadn't thought about interrogating this oaf.

"Wh-why do you ask? I do-don't know anything abo-about Nott," McMillan replied. This time, Daphne had to bite her lip to not roll her eyes. Idiot.

"Are you sure?" Daphne leaned forward a little, pressing her elbows together, an action which pushed her perky breasts up even more. She knew just how to attract men, and just like she suspected, McMillan's eyes almost popped out of his head as he ogled her.

"Ye-yes, I'm sure," McMillan said, trying to look away from Daphne's cleavage. He cleared his throat and said a bit more forcefully, "I know nothing about him."

It looked like she would need the Veritaserum after all.

Sighing, Daphne stood up and walked slowly to the corner where a tumbler of firewhiskey sat on a small round table, hidden behind half-filled forms and documents. Pouring the golden liquid in two glasses, she subtly slipped some drops of Veritaserum in one of them.

Daphne walked back to McMillan and handed him the glass, brushing her fingers against his on purpose. "Here, have a drink with me. You've already laid my doubts to rest, so I figured we could have a little drink together."

McMillan did seem a little suspicious of her, but he ultimately drank the whole glass. Daphne had to stop herself from smiling too wide; men like McMillan were so easy to manipulate.

"Now, you're going to tell me everything I want to know," Daphne announced as soon as McMillan's eyes glazed over. Daphne leaned closer and demanded, "What happened to Theo?"

"I accidentally Obliviated him and left him in a small town called Castle Combe," McMillan said in a monotone.

Daphne smiled wider. She had known McMillan was the key to finding Theo! Thank Salazar that he was as stupid as they came and hadn't realised her intentions.

"I think you'll find it very poetic that I'll have to Obliviate you now, so you don't remember our little talk," Daphne said, as if she was talking with a toddler.

"Theo was right to break up with you," McMillan said in the same monotone.

Daphne scowled at him, quickly Obliviating him non-verbally. She didn't like idiots commenting about her life, and McMillan was just the biggest buffoon of them all.

She had a goal in mind now: find Theo and bring him back to her.
