Soulmates, a concept prevalent for millions of years, has always been a topic of wonder and fascination. Per the belief, a mark on your skin indicates the person you are meant to spend your life with. This mark can manifest in various forms - a birthmark, a freckle, or a mole. Interestingly, it's not just limited to romantic relationships; it can also signify a deep and meaningful connection with someone, whether a friend, family member, or even a Pokemon.

While the concept of soulmates has always been intriguing, explaining the science behind it is difficult. Some believe it's a matter of fate, while others attribute it to the law of attraction. Despite this, finding your soulmate has always been comforting for many, giving them hope that they will eventually find their perfect match.

Raihan had always believed in soulmates and was 100% sure he had one somewhere in the world. It was a comforting thought and one that he held onto dearly. However, when he realized that he had not one but multiple soulmates, his world turned upside down. Suddenly, the idea of finding his one true love was no longer as straightforward as he had hoped. He couldn't help but feel he was competing for their affection and attention and would never be anyone's first choice. The thought of coming in second place was daunting, leaving him feeling lost and uncertain about his future with his mates.

The soulmate world was where having more than one romantic soulmate was considered taboo. It was believed that the more soulmates one had, the less unique the experience became. However, there was an exception to this rule - having multiple platonic soulmates was acceptable and quite common. Having more than one sibling, daughter, or son as a soulmate was beautiful.

Despite the common belief that having multiple romantic soulmates was doomed to fail, many soulmates with more than two people were happy. They found that having various soulmates added to their experience and brought them closer together. However, there was always the possibility that one or more soulmates would feel excluded from certain activities and relationships. This was a common problem that many polyamorous soulmates faced.

Raihan was one such soulmate. He knew that he was likely to be the one who would be excluded from certain activities and relationships. He worried that he might even be banned altogether from his soulmate group. Despite this, he remained hopeful that his other soulmates would be understanding and inclusive. He believed that with open communication and a willingness to compromise, they could overcome any challenges that came their way.

Raihan grew up in a family of three siblings, being the youngest. He had seen his older siblings go through the same situation before, with their parents forgetting him and favoring his older siblings more, and he knew that it would happen again with his soulmate. This realization made it hard for him to be optimistic about finding his soulmates, and it was difficult for him to hear people talking about soulmates as he knew he would never have that same type of relationship with anyone.

Over time, he had given up searching for his soulmates and resigned himself to the fact that they would eventually find each other and lead a happy life without him. It was a tough pill to swallow, but he had no choice when people around him kept telling him that he would be a burden to his soulmates if he continued to pursue the bond. They always advised him to let them be happy and said he was not needed in their relationship.

Despite this, Raihan had not wholly given up on the idea of soulmates. He still tried to keep an open mind and hoped that someday he would find someone who would accept him for who he was and be willing to share a special connection with him. In the meantime, he focused on being the best version of himself and tried to live his life to the fullest, knowing that his soulmates would eventually find him if they were meant to be together.

Leon, a caring and optimistic individual, always urged Raihan to keep searching for his soulmates. Raihan confided in Leon about his soulmark, and ever since then, they would have deep discussions about it almost every other week. Leon believed that Raihan's soulmates were out there waiting for him and encouraged him never to give up hope on finding them.

Leon's advice to Raihan was simple - he should continue his quest to find his soulmates, and in doing so, he would increase the likelihood of meeting someone who genuinely wants to be with him. Leon was convinced that Raihan would eventually find his soulmates and have a fulfilling relationship with them.

Despite Raihan's challenges in pursuing love, Leon never wavered in his support. He remained a constant source of comfort and motivation, encouraging Raihan to stay optimistic and never give up on his dreams of finding true love.

As they sat in the VIP room of the restaurant, Leon asked Raihan, "What's on your mind?" Raihan sipped his drink and gazed out the window before answering, "Just thinking about that Pokemon, I guess."

Leon's eyes followed Raihan's gaze out into the city. "Poor thing," he said with sympathy. "Melany is right. I feel bad for it." He turned back to Raihan. "But I can tell there's something else on your mind. What's going on?"

Raihan sighed and rolled his eyes, but he eventually nodded his head. " just my Soul Bond," he replied, his tone filled with resignation.

Leon's eyes widened in excitement. "Oh, so you've finally decided to go out into the world and look for your soulmate?" he teased, grinning from ear to ear.

Raihan shot him a look. "No," he retorted, a hint of annoyance. "I'm just pondering about who that person could possibly be."

"Well, one of them has a diamond symbol with a leaf around it, so they're likely a grass-type trainer," Leon explained, his eyes lighting up with enthusiasm.

"Probably," Raihan agreed, his mind racing with possibilities.

"And the other one has a white and red Zorua mask with black and white Aura around it... I'm not sure what that means," Leon said, scratching his chin thoughtfully. Raihan watched as his friend struggled to decipher the meaning, his curiosity piqued.

"Don't think too hard, or your brain might start smoking," Raihan laughed at Leon's puzzled expression.

Leon shook his head, grinning. "Oh, hush now. Either way, I'm sure they'll be happy to meet you." He then went back to what they were talking about before.

"Yeah, I'm sure they would," Raihan smiled. "How's Piers?" he said, changing the subject.

"He's still mad... I should have never brought up the topic of gigantamaxing... I should go over and apologize," Leon replied a tinge of regret in his voice.

"Want me to lead you there?" Raihan said with a smirk.

"Oh, haha I don't need your help getting to my boyfriend's City," Leon said, rolling his eyes.

"You needed help finding the bathroom... and it's right there," Raihan laughed, pointing behind him.

"Shut up, I didn't see the sign," Leon pouted, a little embarrassed.

Raihan raised the pertinent question: "Anyway, what are we supposed to do with the Pokemon once we capture it? Has Rose talked to you about it?"

Laon nodded in agreement, "Yes, he did mention it yesterday. In fact, today is the day when he's sending his team of Rangers out to capture them."

Raihan looked puzzled, "Then, what's the point of lining us all up for this?"

Laon explained, "Apparently, there's more than one Pokemon involved. He didn't mention it before when we were in the meeting room."

The two trainers continued their discussion as they enjoyed their tea and waited for their food to arrive.

"He didn't want us to worry and handle the issue ourselves. That's what he told me. Apparently, the Pokemon causing the snow was a cause for concern, and he believes that there are more of them lurking in the Cave. I can only imagine what kind of danger they pose."

Raihan shook his head in disbelief. "Damn...I wonder what kind of experiences they've had to be so terrified of humans. It must be something truly terrifying." He began to tuck into his food, lost in thought.

Leon's voice was concerned as he spoke, "I hope this situation doesn't escalate beyond what it needs to be. I'm already stressed about next year's League meeting, and having to deal with anything more significant would be too much." He paused, a shiver running down his spine. "The Sinnoh champion always seems to intimidate me every time we meet. She's just so tough."

Raihan chuckled at Leon's unease. "You're selling yourself short, man. I'm pretty sure she sees you as an equal."

Leon pouted like a sulking child, showing reluctance to face someone he considered intimidating. "I don't care. She's scary, and I don't want to face her," he said, his words laced with fear and hesitation.

Raihan, on the other hand, seemed amused by Leon's reaction and countered, "No one is asking you to face her. We're just asking you to have a full meeting with her." Raihan knew that Leon had always looked up to her. After all, she had been a champion for almost 15 years since she was 13.

Leon continued to argue with Raihan; his tone was childish despite his age. "I don't want to," he protested, clarifying that he would not budge.

They knew they were joking around, but there was an underlying tension in the air as if this was just the calm before the storm.

A thick blanket of snow engulfed the wild area, causing people to wade through it, with the snow reaching their knees. Once a thriving landscape, Giants Seat had transformed into a labyrinth with nothing but white snow as far as the eye could see. The area had been experiencing relentless snowfall for weeks, and the sun had not appeared in months, leaving the surroundings in an everlasting state of gloom. The snow and ice had completely taken over the trees, rocks, and especially the lake, creating an otherworldly scene that was both eerie and captivating.

The snow fell relentlessly, scattering flakes like a million tiny diamonds, as the rangers journeyed across the icy terrain. Their destination was a cave on the side of the mountain where they hoped to find a Pokemon. Despite traveling for almost three days, the weather only worsened, forcing them to continue on foot.

As they drew closer to the Cave, they began preparing themselves for any situation that might arise. If the Pokemon was guarding a baby, they planned to use it as bait to lure it out of the Cave and capture it. Should the Pokemon prove aggressive, they were equipped with powerful Pokemon to subdue it. And if it was spoiling for a fight, their strongest Pokemon were ready to face it head-on. They also planned to set a trap within the Cave in case the Pokemon returned.

Their backpacks were stocked with cameras and headsets, and they contacted Chairman Rose to ensure everything was in order. The group was determined to succeed, no matter what obstacles stood in their way.

As they arrived at the shore, they eagerly took out their beloved Pokemon and unfolded the map to guide them to their destination. The Cave was a few miles away, so they knew they had to act fast before the Pokemon could pick up their scent. Cautiously, they scanned the area and ensured it was free of any potential dangers. With the assurance that they were safe, they sent their Pokemon ahead of them, keeping a watchful eye on their surroundings.

The snow-covered landscape was breathtaking as they walked, with tall trees casting long shadows in the fading sunlight. The crunching sound of their footsteps echoed in the cold, crisp air, and the occasional gusts of wind made them shudder. The anticipation of what lay ahead kept them going as they approached the Cave's entrance.

The silence was deafening as they drew closer to the Cave. No sound of any kind could be heard except for the wind rustling the leaves and the snowflakes falling from the sky. As they peered around, they didn't see any traces of any Pokemon or hear any cries of joy or distress. This made them believe that the Pokemon was either asleep or tending to its young ones.

Solemnly, the group leader acknowledged the situation before ordering five of the twenty rangers to take a strategic position before the Cave to scan for potential danger. He then commanded his Metagross to lead the way to avoid any surprises.

As they delved deeper into the Cave, the atmosphere became increasingly tense, and the ranger reported every movement and sound. The darkness and silence of the Cave gave a sense of foreboding. However, as they continued, the temperature began to rise, which was unusual since outside was below -10. The ranger reported the temperature change, confirmed as they went further in. It became hotter to the point where they had to remove their jackets, but they couldn't because of the equipment they were carrying.

As they walked deeper into the Cave, the terrain grew steeper, and they had to watch their step to avoid tripping and rolling down the slope. The Metagross, their trusted companion, walked ahead, scanning the surroundings with its sharp eyes. Suddenly, it stopped in its tracks and glared ahead, growling cautiously.

"Metta...gross..." the Pokemon called out, warning its humans of an imminent threat. They listened carefully and heard faint pitter-patter coming from deep inside the Cave. It was getting louder each second, and they knew they had to be prepared for anything.

"Metagross, be ready," the leader commanded, his eyes fixed on the darkness ahead.

They waited in silence, their hearts pounding as the sound grew closer and closer. And then, all of a sudden, it stopped just outside their line of sight. They held their breath, waiting for something to happen.

"Metagross," the leader said, urging his Pokemon to move closer to the source of the sound.

But before it could take a step, a ball flew out of the shadows, hitting the Metagross's leg. The Pokemon paused and stared into the darkness, not bothering with the ball. From the shadows, nothing happened until a tiny bark came, asking the giant Pokemon to throw the ball back. The ball rolled back from the slope, and a little dog-like Pokemon appeared before it could even reach the shadows.

The Pokemon resembled a Growlithe but with different coloring and large bangs covering its eyes. It looked at them with curiosity, wagging its tail.

In the dimly lit Cave, a tiny Pokémon was jumping and playing with a small, old ball, which seemed to put the rangers at ease. They felt that capturing this little creature, which appeared to be a baby Pokémon, would be a breeze.

"Alright, let's get this over with," one of the rangers said as he stepped forward and flung a Pokéball toward the Pokémon.

"Wait, don't-" The leader tried intervening, but it was too late. The Pokéball hit the Pokémon's head, causing it to yelp and rub its head before scampering back into the shadows and whimpering in pain.

"Damn," the leader muttered as he signaled his Metagross to follow the injured Pokémon. Tracking it to one of the four pillars in the Cave, the leader approached the little creature and tried to comfort it. However, just as he was about to reach out to it, his Metagross leaped in front of him, loudly crying, "Mettaagrooossss!" The little Pokémon cried in response, glaring at the Metagross.

The leader was taken aback by his Metagross's sudden outburst, "Metagross, what are you-" he started but was interrupted by a low growl emanating from the darkness. His Metagross pushed him back, growling and crying out as they tried to make sense of the situation.

When the Metagross acted, the leader noticed the movement of the pillar behind which the tiny Pokemon was hiding, causing it to be pushed further into the Cave.

The leader of the ragers looked up in awe and amazement as he suddenly realized that the tiny Pokemon he had just seen come from the darkness was not hiding behind the pillars as he had initially thought. The mysterious creature was not just some odd reflection on the ceiling of the cave roof either. As he gazed at it, the pillars appeared like gigantic paws, and the softly glowing reflections were bright black eyes that glared intensely at the rangers. The leader stood transfixed, unable to take his eyes off the Pokemon, which emerged from the shadows into the light that the lanterns they had brought shone. It took a moment for the Pokemon to step out of the Cave's darkness, and when it did, it was a sight to behold. Its fur was a beautiful shade of orange, and its eyes were piercing and determined. The Pokemon let out a growl and roar that sounded almost like a bark, but it was hard to tell since the Cave turned it into an echo. The rangers were left in awe of this majestic creature.

The leader's voice boomed across the Cave, "Metagross, use bullet punch!" The rest of the rangers quickly followed suit, ordering their Pokemon to attack. However, the sheer force of the giant Pokemon's roar sent them tumbling back, struggling to keep their footing.

"Make contact with the rangers on guard in the front now!" the leader yelled over the deafening roar.

One of the rangers responded, "I tried to make contact, but they never responded to any orders," their voice almost drowned out by the intense noise. They gritted their teeth, ordering their Pokemon to launch another attack, but it did not affect the Metagross. Its eyes glared with a fierce intensity, not indicating backing down.

The tiny Pokemon dashed more profoundly into the Cave, its heart pounding with fear. Behind it, the giant Pokemon growled and began to prepare for its next attack, its eyes fixed on them and not on the fleeing creature. The rangers, anticipating the impending danger, called out to each other to get ready.

The tension in the air was palpable as the Pokemon let out a fierce earthquake that shook the ground beneath their feet. Just as they were about to retaliate, Rose's assistant's voice interrupted through the headpiece, urgent and panicked. "Get out of there now. Group B has been ambushed. Leave and regroup immediately."

The leader was about to respond when they were suddenly attacked from behind by another Pokemon, leaving them trapped at the entrance of the Cave. Their only hope was to find a way out and quickly regroup before it was too late.

Raihan sat in the Rose Corporation's meeting room, where the air was tense, filled with unspoken words and hidden emotions. Three days ago, he had a conversation with Leon at a restaurant that had left him deep in thought ever since. Raihan's mind was consumed with the longing to meet his soulmates, who could complete him and make him feel whole again. But the fear of rejection always held him back, pulling him away from what he truly desired. Raihan had always feared rejection, even as a child. He knew that he had to overcome this fear to find his soulmates. He spent the last two days pondering about his situation and finally decided to take the plunge and look for them. Raihan believed that he might be unique in some way, and his journey to find his soulmates would be different from others. Milo was by his side, and Leon and Gordie were seated across from them, ready to discuss matters related to the Rose Corporation.

The meeting room was abuzz with chatter as the gym leaders waited for Rose to arrive. Rose's stern expression silenced the room as soon as he walked in. "Everyone settle down, and let's start this meeting now," he declared, his assistant passing around a thick packet of papers to each gym leader. The gym leaders exchanged confused glances before opening the file to find various documents. Kabu was the first to speak up, "What's this?" he asked as he dug into the packet, the rest of the gym leaders following suit.

Rose, the CEO of Macro Cosmos, called for an urgent meeting to address the ongoing issue in the wild area. With a stern expression, he began, "As of yesterday, the wild area has been shut down with no exceptions. An unidentified Pokemon has been causing chaos and destruction in the area and has gone too far. It has become clear that we need the strongest trainers in Galar to handle this situation. And by strongest trainers, I mean all gym leaders and champions."

Melony, the Ice-type gym leader, raised her hand, looking confused. "But Rose, I thought we had it under control with the Pokemon rangers that you sent out. What happened?"

Rose stood firm, his voice laced with a hint of defiance. 'I did have it under control until the Pokemon's buddies appeared,' he retorted, nodding at his assistant. With permission, the assistant put up a slideshow behind the board. Rose pointed to the pictures on the slideshow and said, 'As you can see, this is what happened to the rangers I sent out.' The images depicted men and women in the hospital, in critical condition with cuts, burns, and frostbite.

Rose continued, "The rangers had live feed cameras on them, sending me live footage of the incident, and as you can see here, it wasn't pretty." A video began playing behind him, shot inside the Cave where the rangers had commanded their Pokemon to attack into the shadows. The footage captured the panic in their voices and the cries of pain their Pokemon made when the wild Pokemon attacked them back twice as hard. The gym leaders looked at the video in shock and amazement as they saw small glimpses of the Pokemon with the bit of lighting that was there. The Pokemon looked huge compared to the regular-sized Pokemon, and for it to be attacking humans was unacceptable.

Leon looked through the paperwork and then turned to Rose. "And you said it wasn't alone. Correct?" He saw a screenshot of a young-looking Pokemon. 'And what about this one? Did it attack too?' he inquired, showing the picture to the room. The Pokemon in the picture looked innocent and harmless, hardly capable of inflicting any damage.

"No, that was the first Pokémon they saw," Rose said as he switched the video to a picture. "According to the lead ranger I sent, they thought it was the Pokémon's baby. They were going to take it out to lure the mother out. Still, it got spooked and ran behind its mother's legs. The rangers thought that the Pokémon's legs were pillars, which is why they were caught by surprise."

"I can see why… I would have been confused by how the mother hid its paws behind some rocks," Gordie looked closely at the picture. "And by the way, the legs look, it does look like a Rock-type. Maybe even a Fire-type, but I'm not sure."

"You are correct about the fur coloring; I can also guarantee that the Pokémon is also a Fire-type," Kabu stated matter-of-factly, agreeing with Gordie.

"But what Pokémon would be both Rock and Fire-type?" asked Raihan. "From what I know, the only one we have here in Galar is Colossal."

"That's… that's true, so what Pokémon would it be? It can't be a Magcargo, that's for sure," Melony stated.

Alister's voice trembled as he urgently said, "Hold... hold on...". The attention of everyone in the room immediately turned towards him, causing him to shrink back in his seat. Sensing the tension, Bea, his elder sister through soul bond, asked what was wrong.

Alister directed their attention to the video that Rose's assistant had just switched. "Go back... the video... I saw something..." he said, his voice trailing off. The assistant quickly obeyed and paused the video before waiting for his next instruction. "Go frame by frame... I saw something in the background," he continued, pointing towards the projection. The assistant complied, and Alister pointed out when the little Pokemon had gone behind the mother's paws.

Raihan, one of the gym leaders, couldn't see anything out of the ordinary and asked, "What, I don't see anything?"

"Look there... closely in the darkness... the yellow specks in the back..." Alister said, pointing towards the screen. "They look like eyes... and there in the bottom... there is another pair," he added, his voice shaking with fear as he hid behind his mask. The rest of the gym leaders leaned in closer to inspect the footage, and soon, they could see what Alister was talking about.

Milo, another gym leader, asked an important question, "Was that the Pokemon that ambushed the rangers?" He sifted through the projection, trying to understand what he was seeing.

Rose's assistant adjusted the image, quickly correcting Milo, saying, "No, it was this one." The new image portrayed a Pokemon with extraordinary glowing purple and blue eyes illuminating the darkness. The image then transitioned to a video of two Pokemon, one with bright purple eyes and the other with white. Both utilized flying-type moves, resulting in the freezing of the Pokemon and Rangers. However, they were suddenly hit by a fire-type move. "These were the Pokemon in the Cave... there was another one that attacked from outside... that's the one we should be more worried about," he explained as he switched the projector to a different video. Although everyone thought the fire rock-type Pokemon in the Cave was the primary concern, Rose's comment hinted at something far more ominous lurking outside the Cave.

The ranger team was right outside the Cave, keeping guard, when one interrupted the silent atmosphere, "When do you think we will be done with this?" He looked around at the dense forest and the tranquil lake in the distance.

The others shrugged, "Hopefully soon," one replied before noticing that something seemed amiss by the boats docked in the lake.

"Hey, what's that?" he asked, peering intently towards the boats.

"Where?" the first ranger asked, following his gaze.

"Over there, by the boats… something seems off… I'm going to go check." The ranger started walking towards the boats, but the other man stopped.

"Don't be foolish. What if the Pokemon is out there? You can't go alone. I'll come with you."

"Both of you are being reckless… Let's all go together. Jackson, Mason, keep watch," a female ranger interjected, leading the group toward the boats.

The rangers approached the boats, their footsteps crunching through the snow. With a sense of purpose, they observed the vessels keenly, scanning every inch of their surfaces for any signs of trouble.

As they got closer, they noticed that the boats were tilted at an angle. Concerned, one of the rangers suggested they turn back, but the woman in the group urged them to stay and investigate further.

She approached the boats, her gaze fixed on them with unease. "Mike, look at the boats," she said, her voice low and urgent. "Why aren't they rocking?"

With growing trepidation, the man with the camera joined her and inspected the boats. It was then that they realized what was wrong. The boats had become wholly frozen as if they were suspended in time. He tried to pull one of them out, but the ice was unyielding and refused to let it go.

The man standing before the frozen lake abruptly yelled, "Run!" as his gaze fixed on something in the distance. The man recording the scene with his camera looked bewildered and asked, "What's going on?"

"Run, run, run, RUN!" the other man shouted as he spun around and called his Pokemon to follow him. The cameraman turned in the same direction and let out a scream, along with the woman standing nearby, as they saw two gigantic eyes peering at them from behind the veil of snow just a few meters away. The eyes themselves appeared to be about 20 feet in size, and the rest of the Pokemon's body was even more tremendous than some of the tallest buildings in Galar.

The group panicked and turned to flee, their Pokemon following them after being scared off by the sheer size of the monstrous creature. The two men at the cave entrance shouted in unison, "Get out of there!" the video clip ended abruptly, leaving the viewers to wonder what happened next.

Kabu's eyes widened in shock as he and everyone else stared at the screen in disbelief. The final image on display showed a massive Pokemon unleashing an ice blast, causing everything in its path to freeze.

The sheer size of the Pokemon left Opal in awe, and she exclaimed in amazement, "By the mighty Arceus, I have never seen a Pokemon that huge before! Not even a Gigantamax Pokemon reaches such colossal proportions!"

Leon, one of the group members, inquired, "Did it Gigantamax in the water before it went out?"

The assistant of Rose, the leader of the group, replied, "No, according to the collected videos, it was always there, as you can see." She showed more images and explained, "It was always watching them but never moving until they were off the boats. It showed intelligence by waiting until they were away, froze the water even more, and didn't move until the rangers were close enough to attack without blocking the cave entrance."

Gordie, another group member, sat up with a determined look on his face and asked, "When do you want us to take care of the Pokemon?" Raihan, a group member, wondered how they could defeat such a ginormous Pokemon. He also pondered how this gigantic Pokemon got into the lake without being spotted by at least five towns over. Something was wrong here.

Rose responded, "As soon as possible. We are here to make a plan of action. Alister pointed out that there were more Pokemon in the Cave, so we can also prepare for that." She continued, "The files I gave you are my team's plans for you all. You can change anything from them, but know we will deal with this as soon as humanly possible, or we won't be as humane the next time we make a move against this Pokemon." Rose's glare emphasized her seriousness as she concluded, "No matter the cost, we have to deal with the Pokemon now."

As everyone nodded in agreement, they began to put their heads together to devise a plan. Leon took charge, leading the team to ensure everything was executed flawlessly. However, Raihan noticed that Milo was the only one who seemed preoccupied.

"Is everything okay?" he asked Milo, who turned to him with a look of concern.

"How are we supposed to handle this colossal Pokemon?" Milo inquired.

"Don't worry. We'll deal with it as humanely as possible, and we hope to resolve this matter before Rose does something impulsive," reassured Leon. "Let's go through the records and ensure that we are prepared in case of any unforeseen circumstances or if we get separated."

Milo went through the files and discovered they had attempted to use Sunny Day while on the boats, but it needed to be more effective. "What should we do about the snow then?" he asked.

"I'm sure you all realize that the snow is not natural, and it's most likely that the gigantic Pokemon is responsible for this blizzard that has been going on for months," Leon spoke.

"I believe I should be the one to deal with it," Kabu said, "with my fire-type Pokemon, I can slow it down the best I can, but of course, I will need help from you all."

"I'll do my best to help you, but I think the Pokemon are very smart, and if we attack the gigantic one, they will come to defend their own," Raihan said, "the best option is for you to stay with someone else while we cover your backs in case any other Pokemon come out."

"I can stay with him. The Pokemon is in the water, and that's my specialty. If anything goes wrong, I can always send out my ace to deal with it," Nessa spoke confidently.

"I shall cover your backs in case any dangerous Pokemon comes into your vicinity," Opal said.

With his mother by his side, Gordie stepped forward and spoke confidently, "We can help in defeating that Pokemon. My mother is an expert on ice-type Pokemon and can lend a hand. My Pokemon are strong and sturdy, ready to withstand any large physical attack."

Bea, ever the vigilant one, offered to patrol the area with Allister to ensure that the Pokemon were kept at a safe distance. "Just in case something happens, we will stay close to Peirs," she added.

Gordie nodded appreciatively and continued, "I will make sure they're protected. Leon and Raihan are the hardest hitters and can draw the Pokemon out of the Cave."

Raihan's sudden words caught everyone's attention. He had been quiet for a while, and his comment made them all pause and wonder. "Hold on... I just realized something," he said, his voice commanding attention.

Leon looked at him. "What is it?" he asked.

"It's about that Pokemon," Raihan answered, pointing towards the tiny creature. "When they threw the Pokeball at it, it didn't go inside. Did anyone else notice that?"

Everyone froze at that comment and realized the Pokemon had not entered the Pokeball. They had been too preoccupied with the giant Pokemon to notice the details. A crucial aspect of Pokemon training was that a trainer could not catch another trainer's Pokemon unless it had been released.

That meant the tiny Pokemon was someone else's, and the trainer likely owned its mother.

"You're right," Kaku spoke up. "But why did the trainer allow their Pokemon to attack other trainers and Rangers? Don't they know the consequences of these actions?"

Everyone was in deep thought, pondering over the questions that had arisen. They knew they had to discover what was happening and save the Pokemon from whatever situation it was in.
