In what seemed like no time at all, only 48 hours later, the plan was complete. The Gym leaders communicated with their families about the upcoming events and delegated responsibilities to each member in case of any unexpected incidents. Naturally, their families were anxious about what was to come, but they understood and respected the Gym leaders' obligations and trusted that they would handle Everything with care and diligence.
The group was traveling in a heavily armed and reinforced armored car, accompanied by a few rangers assigned by Rose as backup in case of any trouble. Piers stared out the window as they drove, his gaze fixed on the snow-covered terrain passing by. A sense of unease had settled over him, and he couldn't shake it off.
He had already informed his sister about the situation, but it hadn't gone well. Seeing her cry and beg him not to go was heartbreaking. Piers knew he couldn't back out, but it was hard to ignore her emotional distress.
As they moved closer to their destination, Piers couldn't help but think about his soul sibling. He wondered if she would be similar to his sister's emotional reactions or different. Would she encourage him to go and take care of the problem or ask him to stay back? He knew their bond was special, marked by the unique soul mark of a tiny puzzle piece that perfectly fits their partner's.
Piers had always been curious about his soul sibling's personality and wondered if she would accept his hatred for Gigantimax. He recalled how his younger sister had started to ignore him after meeting Hop, and he couldn't help but fear that his soul sibling might do the same if she found someone else to connect with.
The driver stopped the truck and declared, "We have to stop here. The snow is too high for us to proceed." Everyone in the car agreed and gathered their belongings to exit the vehicle. Piers double-checked his bag and jacket, ensuring Everything was in its proper place before stepping out into the snow.
Leon took charge and instructed everyone, "Charizard will guide us from here on out. Stay alert and keep an eye out for any trouble. Kabu, keep watch over the Lake to prevent any surprise attacks from the Pokemon lurking within."
Leon summoned his trusty Charizard and asked, "Are you ready, buddy?" Charizard nodded and, with a confident turn, led the way towards their destination. "Remember to stick to the plan," Leon reminded the group. "If anything goes wrong, contact the rest of us immediately." With these words, everyone split up to complete their assigned tasks, ready to face challenges.
The group trudged through the snowy terrain for a few miles until they finally reached the Lake. As they approached the water's edge, they were dismayed to see several damaged and abandoned boats lying in the snow. Kabu, the seasoned Pokemon trainer, stepped forward to investigate. However, he couldn't spot anything in the murky water. The Pokemon they were searching for might have been lurking beneath the surface, hiding from their prying eyes.
As a skilled trainer, Nessa decided to use her Arrokuda to scout the area. The Pokemon dived into the freezing water, hoping to catch sight of their elusive target. Meanwhile, Kabu and a few rangers stayed behind to ensure the others' safety as they continued their plan.
As the group continued, they couldn't shake off the ominous feeling that something was wrong. Pears, who had been feeling uneasy since they left the truck, wasn't the only one. Despite their worries, they forged ahead and split up, allowing Raihan and Leon to venture further.
They walked for a while, with Charizard leading the way. The dragon's movements became increasingly erratic as they entered the snowy landscape. He kept looking around as if he was expecting something to attack them at any moment. Despite this, they continued towards the cave's Direction.
Suddenly, Leon yelled, shattering the eerie silence that had enveloped them.
Leon's voice echoed through the snowy, desolate, wild area. He ordered everyone to halt as he spotted something in the distance. His Charizard, constantly vigilant, glared up ahead but remained silent. A figure began to shape in the distance as the snow fell around them. Leon had to squint to get a better look.
"Is there anyone out there?" Leon called out into the stillness.
The reply came muffled and faint, "...h…p..."
"We can't hear you. Do you need help?" Leon shouted, his voice cutting through the silence. The figure began to walk closer, limping. Leon and Raihan exchanged glances, silently pondering why someone was out there. The wild area had been closed to the public for several days now. Had someone climbed over the barriers and gotten stuck, or were they already there before the area was closed?
"Are you hurt? Please respond." Leon repeated, concern etched into his voice.
As Leon and his Charizard moved closer, they could hear someone calling out for help in a raspy, weak voice. It sounded like a man's voice and seemed coming from just ahead. Leon felt concerned and nodded, indicating he was ready to help.
However, Raihan, walking alongside Leon, suddenly stopped him from going any further. "Hold on," he said, a deep frown creasing his forehead. "Something doesn't feel right. Look at Charizard."
Leon glanced up at his loyal companion and saw that something was off. Charizard's ordinarily bright eyes were dimmed, and he seemed to struggle to breathe as if it smelled something it disliked. Leon felt a wave of panic wash over him as he realized something was seriously wrong. He turned to Raihan, who was already on his phone, dialing for emergency assistance.
Leon was drawn to Charizard, exhibiting unusual behavior - clearly nervous about something. Raihan, who was with Leon, also sensed that something was amiss. As they both watched, the man came closer, and Leon felt a sense of guilt for not being able to help him. The unease in the atmosphere grew stronger as the man approached, and Charizard began to growl.
Raihan, sensing danger, pulled out Flygon's Pokeball and said, "Leon, I'm getting a bad feeling about this."
The man was getting closer and closer, and Leon could feel the emptiness in the air. His Charizard became increasingly anxious and agitated. Now, a few meters away, the man pleaded for help, his voice shaking with fear. "Please...I'm so cold...I can't breathe...I need help."
As the man begged for their assistance, Leon, Raihan, and the rangers remained on guard, their instincts telling them something was amiss.
The two friends waited anxiously for a couple more minutes, their eyes fixed on the figure in the distance. As Leon started to walk towards the man, he couldn't help but notice how the man was almost completely covered in snow and ice. Despite the harsh weather conditions, the man's features slowly became more apparent with each step Leon took. He saw that the man had blond hair and a blue coat. Almost bursting at the seams, his backpack seemed his only companion in this frozen wasteland. Leon estimated him to be in his early 30s or late 20s.
"Sir, please stop walking. You might hurt yourself more," Leon pleaded, but the man kept moving towards them.
Raihan grabbed Leon's arm, pulling him back as foreboding filled the air. The man then spoke, "Please... help me," his voice barely above a whisper.
Charizard, sensing danger, stepped forward to protect Leon. The man took another step forward, but Charizard attacked him with an Air Slash before anyone could react, throwing him back several feet away.
"Charizard!" Leon yelled in alarm as Raihan released his Flygon from its Pokeball. Charizard glared at the man who lay on the ground, seemingly unharmed despite the attack.
"Sir, sir, are you alright?" Leon called out, ready to run towards him to ensure he was okay. However, Charizard stopped him again, sensing something sinister in the air.
The man then got up from the snow and brushed himself off, looking like he had never been hurt. Leon was about to speak again but stopped mid-sentence when a slight breeze made more snowfall in one Direction. The snow picked up slightly, leaving everyone wondering what would happen next.
The man burst out laughing, his voice ringing amid the swirling snow. Despite the blizzard, Leon and Raiahan could just make out the man's features - his blond hair had grown longer, transforming into white locks with fiery red tips. His face had elongated, taking on a distinctly fox-like appearance as his skin turned to pure white fur. His clothes seemed to merge with his skin as if becoming one with his new form. The onlookers watched in awe and horror as the man completed his transformation into a Pokémon they had never seen before. It laughed heartily, its roar echoing through the snowy landscape. But as it turned its attention back to Leon, Raiahn, and their Pokémon, a sense of dread washed over them like a dark wave. The Pokémon's malicious intent was palpable, and they could barely stand under the weight of it.
"Charizard, use Flamethrower now!" Leon's voice cut through the tension, and his Charizard let out a fierce roar as it launched its attack. The other Pokémon stood there, its malevolent gaze fixed on its opponents.
Allister and his sister cautiously walked through the snow, ensuring their trusted Pokémon companions, Gengar and Pangoro, led the way. They had left Kabu and Nessa behind at the Lake and the rest of their group. Piers, the lone wolf of the group, had gone ahead to scout the area.
The only sounds were the crunching of snow underfoot and the occasional snort or growl from one of the Pokémon. The air was frigid and still as if the world around them was holding its breath. The landscape was a vast expanse of white, with no visible landmarks in any direction.
Suddenly, Allister's senses pricked up, and he halted. He had heard a faint sound in the distance, barely audible over the sound of the wind. The silence was deafening, and Allister felt a chill run down his spine.
As they walked through the dense forest, the only sounds were the rustling of twigs and crunching snow underfoot. Suddenly, Allister heard a voice that sent chills down his spine, 'humans… too close to den… get away humans…'.
Bea sensed Allister was troubled and cautiously asked if he saw anything. He nodded, and his Gengar approached him, checking if he was okay. The voice came again, sounding almost childlike, 'Humans… I hate all humans except mamas… I see humans…'.
Allister was sure it was a ghost-type Pokemon ahead that disliked humans. Bea looked around but didn't see anything until she noticed a little boy standing by the Lake. The boy wore a big hat and a pink outfit, contrasting with the dark surroundings. Despite the eerie location, the boy looked calm and unperturbed by their presence.
As she pointed at a small boy, Bea's eyes lit up and exclaimed, "I think I found it!" Alister's gaze followed her finger and then suddenly stopped. He felt a wave of sadness and betrayal as he saw the Direction the boy was heading. The child looked calm and composed, which scared Alister. He seemed even younger than him.
The ghost Pokemon spoke in its spiritual voice, 'Human bad...kill humans...get back to the den to protect Mama's human.' The boy continued walking towards them, not saying a word. He seemed to exude a sense of panic and fear. 'Humans hurt Pokemon...humans are liars,' the ghost Pokemon continued to convey.
Alister said hello to the boy as he approached. The boy stopped in his tracks and looked at Alister with panic. Alister wanted to assure him, "Don't worry, we won't hurt you." Bea left him to deal with the ghost type.
The young boy's voice faltered as he spoke, his head hung low in defeat. "I'm lost. Can you help me?" he asked, his childlike tone adding to his vulnerability.
Allister, accompanied by his loyal Gengar, approached the boy with a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, we know what you are. You don't have to hide from us. We won't hurt you," he said, his words carrying a sense of comfort.
Puzzled, the boy looked up confusedly, "What do you mean?" he asked.
Allister took a step closer toward him, "We know you're a Pokemon, and we're here to help you and the others in the den. You don't have to be afraid," he said, his voice filled with empathy and kindness.
The boy's eyes widened in surprise, and he shook his head, unsure what to make of the situation.
The ethereal voice of the Pokémon emanated from the boy's lips, accusing Allister of deceit. 'You lie, human... all humans lie except Mama's human, it declared. Allister vehemently denied the accusation, his eyes widening in shock. As the scene unfolded, Bea observed the boy's countenance transform from perplexity to vigilance to wrath.
'You understand... you understand like Mama's human... yet you lie,' the boy seethed, his head shaking with fury though no discernible words left his mouth.
Allister stood nervously, his arms crossed, as he assured his audience that he spoke nothing but the truth. His Gengar, however, had a different perspective. It interrupted him, its deep voice laced with skepticism.
'You speak from experience,' the Gengar said. 'You have no trust in humans. Why is that, child?'
Allister's Gengar was one of his team's oldest members, having been alive for at least 50 years, if not slightly longer. The Pokemon's wise eyes glinted with curiosity as it waited for Allister's response.
But before Allister could reply, the younger Pokemon spoke up, its voice seething angrily. 'You're a traitor like the rest of them... You're just like the others... a liar,' it accused, eyes fixed on Allister.
Gengar's intense gaze was fixed on the boy as it spoke, 'I do not lie, child. We wish to help you and your den mates to get to safety. Humans are furious about your den mates' attacks.' The child shook his head in disbelief and took a step back.
The child's soft brown hair transformed into a full head of white with red tips as he glared at Gengar, his eyes blazing with anger. 'Humans had it coming. They try to harm Mama's human and will harm her again. Humans are worse than Pokemon. You're a traitor like the rest of them. You hurt us like before. You kill our sisters and brothers for our furs. Humans laugh at our misfortune. Humans kill and eat us. Yet you side with them. You are the worst kind of trader.'
Gengar tried to reason with the child, 'Humans are not like that...'
Allister's voice echoed through the snowy clearing as he made a heartfelt promise to the boy before him. "I promise you that no one will ever hurt you like that again! Whatever happens, I swear that nothing like that will ever happen to you or your den mates." His words were filled with determination and sincerity as he spoke.
The boy's skin turned white, and he began to shrink, visibly shaken by the memories Allister's words had stirred up. Bea stood nearby, confused and concerned, while Pangoro stood protectively before her.
Allister continued to speak, his voice rising above the sound of the wind and snow. "We would never do such things like that. I don't know what humans have done to you in the past, but I swear that nothing like that will ever happen to you." He looked compassionately at the boy, hoping to ease his fear and pain.
Suddenly, the boy, now Pokemon Zorua, loudly cried out in anguish. "ZORRUUUAAAA!" it yelled accusingly before the spirit inside it shouted, "LIIIIEEEERRRRR." The Pokemon then disappeared into the snow, their cries fading into the distance.
Allister's heart raced as he yelled out to catch the Pokemon, but it was too late. The creature had vanished into the cold air, leaving only a sense of fear and confusion behind.
"What happened?" Bea asked, sprinting after Allister.
"They're terrified... they were talking about being skinned alive and hunted down like animals," Allister said, his voice quivering with emotion. "They said that humans made fun of their suffering and didn't care about their pain."
Bea's heart sank as she listened to her brother's words. She could feel the snow falling harder around them, creating a sense of isolation and danger.
"Shh... it's okay, we'll figure it out," Bea said, trying to comfort her brother as he cried on her shoulder.
Piers rushed over, his face etched with concern. "What happened? Are you two all right?"
"We're okay, but something terrible is happening," Bea explained, recounting the incident to Piers. "We need to report this as soon as possible.""WAIT!" Allister yelled to catch the Pokemon, but it was already gone.
"Allister, what happened, "Bea asked as she chased him.
"They are scared… they talked about being skinned and being hunted and how humans made fun of them for suffering and … and…."
"Shhh, calm down and tell me what happened," Bea said as her brother cried into her shoulder as the snow fell harder.
"What happened? Are you two all right?" Piers asked as he rushed to them.
" we're fine, but we need to report this as soon as we can," Bea told him, explaining what had just happened.
Leon and Raihan took cover behind a massive boulder as their Pokémon engaged in an intense battle with the colossal Pokémon outside. This Pokémon was powerful and intimidating, but its enormous size sent a chill through anyone's spine. Its voice differed from other Pokémon, as it called out Zoruark's name as if it were its own. However, its appearance was unique, with a more prominent form and a distinct color.
Concerned for his friend, Raihan checked on Leon's bruised face, which was caused when the colossal Pokémon unintentionally turned and attacked him. "Are you okay?" he asked worriedly.
Brushing off the injury, Leon replied, "Yeah, I'm fine. I was standing too close. But, we have bigger things to worry about, such as figuring out what type of Pokémon we're up against."
Raihan closely observed the unfamiliar Pokemon before him, analyzing its features and behavior. "Based on its appearance, it seems to be a Ghost-type Pokemon, but there seems to be a secondary typing that I can't quite determine," he said thoughtfully. "Judging from the fact that Zoruark is typically a Dark-type, I would speculate that it is the Pokemon's secondary typing," he added before commanding his Goodra to engage the opponent. The opposing Pokemon appeared to be holding its own, but it was interested in targeting Charizard with its attacks. It was aiming to take Charizard out of the battle altogether.
Charizard was struggling to maintain his focus amid the intense battle. The opposing Pokemon was fast and powerful, and the scent of blood and malevolence in the air made it challenging for Charizard to concentrate on the task. He quickly realized that the opponent predominantly targeted him, so he evaded as many attacks as possible while allowing the other Pokemon on his team to take their shots. However, every time the opposing Pokemon landed a hit on Charizard, it felt like a much harder blow than a Gigantamax hit in his standard form.
"Charizard, come to me! We're taking to the sky!" Leon yelled, his voice ringing out across the battlefield. Charizard heard his trainer's command and swooped down to allow Leon to climb aboard.
But the opposing Pokemon wasn't willing to let them escape so easily. It aimed an attack at them, but Raihan's Pokemon intervened and retaliated. The two Pokemon engaged in a fierce battle, their attacks lighting up the sky. Leon knew that they had to act fast if they wanted to win this battle.
"Now, lure it north so Raihan can enter the cave!" Leon shouted as Charizard ascended higher into the sky. Charizard understood its trainer's command and began to fly toward the north, with the opposing Pokemon following closely behind.
"Raihan, head to the cave, I'll catch up!" Leon yelled, hoping that Raihan had heard him over the sounds of battle. But Raihan's Pokemon was busy fighting off the opposing Pokemon, and Raihan was preoccupied with the struggle.
"Leon!" Raihan yelled, but Leon didn't hear him as he disappeared into the distance with the opposing Pokemon on his heels. Raihan cursed before rushing towards the cave, his Pokemon following closely behind. The battle was far from over, and both trainers knew they would have to fight harder than ever to emerge victorious.
Once at the entrance, he sighed and tried to catch his breath. he looked back, but because of all the snow, all they could see were a couple of flashes of red and yellow as Leon and the Pokemon attacked each other.
Raihan's heart pounded as he looked around the desolate and snow-covered battlefield. The wind howled, and the only sound that echoed through the eerie silence was the crunch of snow under his boots. Raihan knew that if he was caught out here by any other Pokemon, he would be in deep trouble.
He scanned the area and noticed a cave entrance in the distance. Raihan hesitated for a moment, knowing the dangers that could be lurking inside. However, he decided it was better than being out in the open.
"Come on out, Torkoal," Raihan called, and his Pokemon emerged from its Pokeball. The Torkoal sniffed the air and began searching for any signs of danger. As it moved closer to the cave, it suddenly stopped and stared intently at the snow. Its sharp senses detected a fresh snow tunnel leading to the cave's entrance. Raihan observed the area and noticed that the snow on top of the tunnel had not settled, indicating that it was recently used.
The Torkoal cried as it stared into the cave's darkness, and Raihan took a deep breath before following his Pokemon into the unknown.
The gym leader cautiously followed his trusty Pokémon companion as it sniffed its way through the dark and eerie cave. Raihan, feeling uneasy, asked his loyal Torkoal, "What are you smelling?"
As they continued, the trainer and Pokémon pulled out their flashlights provided by the rangers. The dim light cast an eerie glow on the walls and floor of the cave as they carefully made their way deeper inside. Suddenly, they heard a deafening roar from outside. It was louder than the eerie cry of the illusion Pokémon they had previously encountered and even louder than the fierce roar of the dog Pokémon in the video. They knew they had finally found the monstrous Pokémon in the lake.
They looked back, hoping for the safety of daylight, but nothing appeared. They bravely forged ahead, deeper into the darkness. Soon, they came upon a gruesome sight - the remnants of the Rangers who had come before them, strewn about the cave floor, their gear and supplies scattered about. Raihan searched through their belongings, hoping to find something to help them in their quest, but the effort proved futile.
Suddenly, an earsplitting cry echoed through the cave, causing Raihan and Torkoal to freeze. 'Eeeeleeecccttttttrrroooo,' the cry sounded. Torkoal's head shot up, and Raihan asked, "What's wrong?" The Pokémon appeared confused and called out to the Pokémon that cried, 'Tttrooooddddeee….' Raihan felt a sense of dread wash over him as he stared into the darkness of the cave, unsure whether to continue forward or retreat.
As they heard the rustling of the approaching Pokemon, they realized it wasn't the usual pitter-patter of paws or the sound of wings flapping but something rolling. Raihan quickly took cover behind his Pokemon as they saw something ahead. Torkoal stayed in front while Flygon stood over Raihan protectively, trying to call back his friend as Coalossal watched the wild Pokemon getting closer.
As the wild Pokemon came into clear view, they saw it was a round, rotund creature. It had distinct red and brown markings, almost like those of an Electrode, but was ten times larger. Instead of having its usual smirk, it had an angry expression. Still, it seemed almost concerned as it looked at Torkoal, who sniffed at the Pokemon. The creature approached Raihan's Torkoal cautiously, focusing only on Torkoal and ignoring the gym leader.
For a moment, it seemed like the creature wouldn't do anything. However, an electric terrain suddenly enveloped it, crackling with energy, indicating that it was about to explode, just like other electrodes do when they feel threatened.
"Use Solar Beam on that Pokemon, Torkoal!" Raihan ordered his voice firm and commanding. Instantly, his Pokemon obeyed and unleashed a focused beam of solar energy against the Electrode.
The Pokemon emitted a fierce battle cry, "EEEEELLLLLEEEEECCTTTTRRRROOOOODDDEEEE!" as it regained its balance after being tossed back by a powerful solar beam. Its anger boiled over as it locked eyes with the gym leader, and without hesitation, it began hurling Energy Balls in their direction. The gym leader shielded themselves by conjuring up a protective barrier, then launched a series of fire-type moves in retaliation.
Just as the battle seemed to climax, Milo unexpectedly emerged from the darkness of the cave's entrance. With a swift motion, he summoned his Pokemon - the nimble and razor-sharp Shiftry - and ordered it to strike with Leaf Blade. Milo's eyes darted to the other Pokemon, checking to make sure they were unharmed.
Together, the trainers and their Pokemon launched a coordinated attack, pushing the enemy Pokemon deeper into the cave. Despite its fierce resistance, the Pokemon realized it was outmatched and started to roll back, conceding defeat.
Milo's voice was filled with concern as he rushed over to Raihan. "Are you all right? What happened?" he asked. "I'm sorry I couldn't make it here sooner. The blizzard was brutal and disoriented my Pokemon. We couldn't find the cave entrance."
Raihan assured him they were fine and asked about the Pokemon in the water. Milo informed him that Kaku had managed to handle the situation with Nessa and had sent him to find them. As he was searching, he stumbled upon Leon battling a Pokemon outside. Leon had quickly asked Milo to come and provide backup in case they needed it.
"Let's hurry up and end this before more Pokemon appear," Raihan said, determined. He took off, running deeper into the cave, with Milo following closely behind. Their Pokemon trailed behind them, ready to take on whatever came their way.
As the group ventured further inside, they suddenly felt a wave of intense heat hit them. They were caught off guard and momentarily frozen in place. Suddenly, a Pokemon appeared before them, using a protective move to shield itself from a fire blast thrown their way. Despite the shadows that engulfed them, they could still make out the enormous size of the Pokemon they had seen in the video. Its bright, glowing black eyes and fire-type moves made it clear that it was the same Pokemon.
Without wasting a moment, Raihan reached for his Pokeball and released his trusted Pokemon, Goodra. The amphibious creature immediately took action, unleashing a powerful Hydro Pump attack to push the wild Pokemon away from its trainer.
"Goodraaaa!" cried the Pokemon, spraying muddy water toward the rock and fire-type Pokemon that glared back at it. A Flapple appeared, its gaze fixed on the group as if ready to join the battle. The two Pokemon turned towards their trainers, nodding in agreement as they readied themselves for what was sure to be an intense and challenging battle. They ran a couple meters inside before, and suddenly, they got an intense blast of heat. They all froze as a Pokemon jumped in front of them using protection as a fire blast was thrown at them. Ahead of them, they spotted the gigantic Pokemon from the video. They could hardly see it because of the Shadows, but they knew it was because of the glowing black eyes and the fire-type moves that it attacked them with.
Raihan exhaled deeply as he threw out Goodra's Pokeball, calling on his trusted Pokemon to fight again. Goodra emerged from the Pokeball with a ferocious look, ready for battle.
Goodra unleashed a powerful hydro pump attack without hesitation to keep the wild Pokemon at bay. The water shot out with tremendous force, sending the opposing Pokemon backward.
"Goodraaaa!" cried the Pokemon triumphantly as she followed up with a muddy water attack. The water splashed onto the rock and fire-type Pokemon, who both glared back at Goodra with fierce determination.
Suddenly, a Flapple appeared, ready to join the fray. The Pokemon nodded at their respective trainers, acknowledging the upcoming battle.
The dog Pokemon let out a fierce roar, attempting to knock Raihan's Pokemon off balance. But to no avail, they stood firm, letting out their cries of anger. The dog Pokemon began charging fireballs, ready to launch an all-out attack.
"Goodra, use Muddy Water now!" Raihan bellowed, determined to take control of the battle.
"Flapple, use Dragon Rush!" Milo commanded, ready to unleash a powerful attack.
The Pokemon attacked simultaneously, with Goodra's Muddy Water and Flapple's Dragon Rush throwing the dog Pokemon off balance. It growled and charged at the owned Pokemon with a fierce rage.
Suddenly, a loud "BRRRAAAAVVVVV" echoed from deeper in the cave.
Milo's voice echoed through the air as he shouted a warning to his companion, "Look out! Another Pokemon is coming!" His Shiftry quickly sprang into action, blocking an incoming attack from behind the dog Pokemon. The new arrival was a single bird Pokemon that resembled Braviary, with a white-gray body. A purple and blue fire mask covered its eyes, and behind it was a Pokemon that looked like a Samurott. That must have been the same Pokemon that had attacked the trainer in the hospital. Although it looked odd, it still had its hard black shell instead of a brown one. The 7-foot-tall Lucario stood behind it, letting out cries as they charged at the trained Pokemon, attacking them with various moves.
Raihan's Goodra was already overpowered, and he had no choice but to send out Duraludon. "We're getting overpowered here… move back. I'm going to send out my full team!" he yelled, trying to rise above the chaos around him. A fire blast was shot out from behind him as he was about to grab the rest of his Pokeballs.
Behind Raihan stood an exhausted Charizard with a tired-looking Leon, who looked just as beat up as his Pokemon. They both looked like they were about to fall with the slightest breeze, but they stood proudly as they continued to advance. Raihan smiled as he saw Leon, and the rest of the Gym leaders let out a sigh of relief as they saw him appear. The wild Pokemon glared at the new arrivals, sensing their danger. Charizard let out a mighty roar, started using Ancient power, and began attacking the Pokemon without orders.
Milo dashed towards Leon, his heart pounding with worry. "Leon, you're okay," he yelled, relief washing over him at the sight of his friend. "What happened? You look terrible," he said, taking in the scratches and bruises on Leon's face.
Leon smiled weakly at Milo. "I'm fine, just a couple of scratches," he said, trying to downplay the severity of his injuries.
Raihan, who had overheard their conversation, strode over to them, his expression stern. "Just a scratch? Don't lie, you need to see a medic," he chided Leon. "What happened to the Pokemon you were battling?" he asked, his tone conveying his impatience.
Leon took a deep breath and explained the situation to them. "Don't worry, it's being contained as we speak by the backup rangers we had prepared," he said, his voice brimming with confidence. "Kabu and Nessa are handling the gigantic Pokemon in the lake, along with another water Pokemon that appeared," he added, gesturing toward the direction of the lake. "They sent me here to help you guys after they received an S.O.S. from here," he finished, his eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger.
Milo, who had been listening intently, spoke up. "What do we do now?" he asked, his voice tinged with anxiety. "It's hard to move forward, and if we move back, we might get attacked by another Pokemon," he pointed out, his eyes darting nervously around them.
Leon's voice was firm and resolute as he addressed the group. "Our next move is crucial. We must push forward and uncover what these mysterious Pokemon are protecting before the situation spirals even further out of control."
Raihan's voice was tinged with concern as he chimed in. "Our Pokemon are completely drained. I don't think they'll be able to handle another battle."
The concern on Raihan's face did not go unnoticed by Leon. He quickly reassured his companion, "I came prepared. I have some revives and remedial berries that should help sustain our Pokemon for one more battle. And if things get really dire, we have some expert Rangers waiting outside the cave with their own Pokemon ready to lend a hand."
The battle with the wild Pokémon was a grueling affair that lasted three long hours, with the team using every trick in the book to emerge victorious. The Pokémon were fierce and relentless, and it took a lot of revives and healing herbs to keep the team going. Despite their exhaustion, they knew they could not let their guard down yet.
Once the wild Pokémon were subdued, they were quickly taken outside the cave and put into cages. The Lucario, in particular, was a formidable foe as it towered over the other Pokémon and put up a fierce resistance. But eventually, even it was brought under control.
The relief was palpable as Leon and the other gym leaders finally subdued the wild Pokémon. Although defeated, the Pokémon refused to give up, still trying to get deeper into the cave. But the Charizard was having none of it, preventing them from advancing.
The captured Pokémon were clearly distressed, crying and yelling as they struggled against restraints. Their eyes were filled with fear and panic, and they could sense that something even more dangerous lay deeper inside the cave. They were muzzled to prevent them from warning the other Pokémon and causing more trouble.
Despite his sadness for the captured Pokémon, Raihan knew it was necessary to keep them restrained for their safety and that of everyone else. The battle might have been won, but the war was far from over.
"We're almost healed now, so let's make up a battle plan," said Leon. "According to what I've heard, Allister spotted one of the Pokemon with The Shining, glowing eyes. It was most likely the baby of the Pokemon I defeated outside. So, we currently have two baby Pokemon in here that the others are defending. This means that there's probably another Pokemon deeper inside, protecting the young ones."
"Before you arrived, Raihan and I battled another Pokemon that retreated when it realized it was outnumbered," Milo added. "That one might be the one that is taking care of the young. It seemed to be a grass electric type, but I could be wrong. It looked like an electrode, but at the same time, it looked different."
"That's quite odd. I have noticed some similarities these Pokemon have to other species," Leon said as he healed Charizard.
"Let's get this over with before the Pokemon decide to meet us halfway," Raihan said as he looked around at his surroundings. They quickly made a plan before starting to walk deeper into the cave. While walking, they kept the light as low as possible to avoid alerting the Pokemon that they were there.
As they drew nearer, they could feel the warmth emanating from the cave, not too hot but enough to provide some respite from the cold. Upon closer inspection, they discovered that the cave's interior was teeming with life, with Greenery sprouting from the walls and the ground. It was a welcome sight after being surrounded by darkness for so long.
"Be careful and stay alert. The Pokemon might be just around that corner," Leon cautioned. The gym leader nodded, eyes scanning the area for signs of danger.
As they approached the corner, they were greeted by a faint glow that emanated from it. They peered around the corner and were met with an astounding sight. A small forest was nestled within the cave, illuminated by an artificial sun created by a Pokemon. The trees swayed gently in the breeze, and the grass rustled underfoot. The air was filled with the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers, and the sound of a babbling brook could be heard in the distance.
As they explored further, they noticed that the flora and fauna seemed to be thriving despite the lack of natural light. A small stream flowed through the room, weaving around the trees and plants. They spotted a small hut in the back of the room that blended perfectly with the natural surroundings.
Walking closer, they noticed it was getting slightly warmer, not too hot but not freezing cold like outside the cave. They got to the point where they started to see that grass was growing inside the cave, meaning they were at least getting a little sunlight. That area had no sunlight in the past 5 months, much less in a pitch-black cave.
The group stood still, their hearts pounding, waiting for Leon's signal to move forward. Suddenly, a Pokemon appeared behind a tree, quietly sipping water from the nearby creek. The creature was a magnificent sight - white with brown antlers and a beard that gave it a regal appearance, much like a Stantler. However, it was far more significant than any Stantler the group had ever seen.
As they watched, another Pokemon emerged from behind the first one. It was the adorable little dog Pokemon from the video, and it seemed to be the baby of the Pokemon they had captured earlier. The baby Pokemon was playing with the giant Pokemon, and the more enormous creature paid no mind to it other than to gently correct it when it nearly fell into the water.
The gym leaders and the champion watched the scene with great interest. They had never seen any Pokemon like these before and were fascinated by their behavior. It was strange to see them acting so nonchalant when they were almost sure that the electric grass Pokemon had come to warn them about the intruders.
The group stood in awe, taking in the beauty and majesty of these incredible creatures.
Milo led the way as they ventured deeper into the cave, the bright light from the sunny day illuminating the hidden path. As they moved forward, they spotted a small, rundown hut in the distance, shrouded by the dense trees and bushes.
"Follow me," Milo spoke as he pointed toward the direction of the Hut. "If we go this way, we can reach that hut and find out if the trainer is there."
Leon nodded in agreement and followed Milo as they carefully approached the Hidden Hut. Raihan stayed behind, keeping a watchful eye on the surrounding area and the Pokemon.
"I'll stay here just in case you guys get spotted," Raihan said as he looked for any signs of danger.
Leon turned to Raihan, his expression filled with concern, "Are you sure you'll be alright by yourself?"
"I'll be fine. Don't worry. You guys just get the answers we're looking for," Milo reassured them as he and Leon continued towards the Hut. Raihan watched over them, making sure they were safe and unseen, ready to act at a moment's notice.
As they walked through the small forest, Leon and Milo tread lightly, careful not to alert any Pokemon to their presence. The air was thick with the scent of pine and wildflowers, and the sounds of rustling leaves and buzzing insect pokemon filled their ears. As they ventured further into the forest, the duo began to discover more and more Pokemon, each memorable and alluring in its own way.
They even stumbled upon a clearing where the electric grass Pokemon from before was being tended to by a gentle grass-type Pokemon. The electric Pokemon crackled with energy as it basked in the sunlight while the other Pokemon hummed a soothing tune, seemingly healing its companion.
Leon and Milo couldn't help but stop and watch in awe, taking in the moment's beauty. As they continued their journey, they encountered even more Pokemon, some familiar, while others were completely new. They couldn't help but marvel at the diversity of life surrounding them, from the tiny caterpillars crawling on the leaves to the massive rock bug Pokemon hidden just out of sight.
As they cautiously moved forward, they kept their heads down and focused on the path ahead. They avoided turning around to look at the intimidating Pokemon lurking behind them but occasionally glanced back to ensure they weren't being followed. Fortunately, the Pokemon didn't seem to be paying attention to them and remained unaware.
The sunlight became increasingly scarce as they made their way closer to the little Hut in the cave. The Hut appeared carefully positioned to shield itself from the sun's scorching rays, yet it wasn't completely dark inside. As they approached the entrance, they saw that the Hut was partially illuminated by a soft glow from within.
Peering inside, they could make out an injured figure lying on a makeshift bed. While they couldn't determine if it was a person or a Pokemon, they could hear the sound of labored breathing and a few coughs, indicating that the individual was in distress. The sight of the injured figure sparked a sense of urgency within them, and they knew they had to act quickly to help.
The gym leader and the champion were puzzled as they looked at each other, trying to understand what was happening. They had never seen Pokemon behave that violently before. They wondered why the Pokemon were acting this way. Were they protecting their trainer, or was there something else going on?
As they continued forward, they finally arrived at a small hut where they found a young girl with white hair lying on a bed, covered with a brown blanket. Her breathing was labored, and her face was red and pale at the same time. It was immediately clear to them that she was not well. The scene made them realize that the Pokemon were protecting their trainer, contrary to what they had previously assumed about the Pokemon being abandoned or mistreated.
The gym leader, Milo, quickly rushed to the girl's side and conducted a medical analysis. With a frown, he looked up at Leon, the champion, and shook his head, indicating that she was not in good health. He advised that they needed to evacuate the area as soon as possible. Leon looked at the girl, then outside, before deciding to pick her up. They knew that they needed to act quickly, not only for her sake but also for the well-being of everyone else, including the attacking Pokemon.
Although they still had many unanswered questions, they knew her health was their top priority. They needed to get her to safety as fast as they could. They understood that they could no longer afford to stay in the area. They knew they needed to gather more information, but they knew they had to do it later. For now, they had to focus on getting the girl to a safe place to get the medical attention she needed.
Leon and Milo were caught off guard by a sudden explosion of sound behind them, followed by a thick cloud of pebbles and dust that obscured their vision of the area outside the Hut. As they turned to investigate the source of the commotion, they were surprised to see Raihan standing there, his back to them and his Pokemon poised for a fight. Peering past him, they caught sight of a sleek, menacing Pokemon with razor-sharp claws oozing with a vile, purple poison.
Before they could react, Pokemon was at the ready, seemingly summoned by some unseen force. Tension mounted as everyone stood frozen, waiting for the first move to be made. The gym leaders and champion were on high alert, each ready to defend themselves, but none dared make a move until the silence was broken.
Milo's voice was laced with worry as he asked, "What's going on? Why aren't they attacking us?"
Raihan replied calmly but with a hint of urgency, "It's because of the girl. They don't want to harm her."
Raihan continued to explain that he had noticed a purple, slender Pokemon chasing and hunting them after they had left. It had been crawling on the ceiling, hidden from their view, until he spotted it.
As Raihan stared at the Pokemon, it raised its claw, pointing it aggressively at him while the other Pokemon waited for any command. The tension in the air was palpable, and everyone froze, uncertain of their next move.
