Our Flag Still Flies – War of Rebellion

PART THREE: Suggestions and Tactics

/

Richard only watched the General at his work; papers about his desk as the boy was shackled and brought to trodden behind his new master without reverence for his caretaker. Of course not, there was only the tower window and his wits as the boy had one reminder of his pact with his forever family. That he should be the one to hear many apologies from this criminal and his faction, that he'd earn a place close enough to slit the General's throat.

Still; his only options were bleak, to seduce or kill FOR the killer as his soldier. Robin. They called him that here, so too many faces holding him as nothing but an attention seeking brat within these walls as Slade just muttered over his desk. He stopped, the kid trying to picture the man's face without any expression at all, not towards him as that one eye bore into his two blue heavily as cold icicles to a deadly winter storm.

He'd rather not be trapped by a cave in.

"Robin. Come here, if you please."

The boy moved forward, gingerly stepping as his cuffs shifted, his legs freed to only have enough chain to keep him in the room, enough to use to strangle his enemy.

THAT got his blood pumping.

Standing before his caretaker, the teen cleared his throat anxiously, getting a bit of distance so he could read that man's face from a brighter angle.

"I want a shoulder massage; my tired form disagrees with this posture yet what can be done, start."

"I – I can…try, sir…Sire?" The boy saved, bunching up his wrists as this could be his chance to get to the hallway.

"Good, then begin. I'll walk you through the process. Take your thumbs and forefinger, over to my collarbone, just below. Good, now knead that space in a clock work motion. Like bread dough." Slade smirked as Robin's wary hands hovered, a bit nervous of what he'd find.

Hands much smaller, dipped down to collect and pinch various muscles as Robin sought only one –

"LOWER." Slade's voice rose as Robin gasped, fingers shaking as he swapped to the man's spine, just below the back of his throat.

"Now, apply a steady pressure to that area. Use your hands, now your forearm, that…. right… there…roll…."

The man's reaction under his hands was just what the teen was expecting, he'd been a noble of the Wayne household and a bit of pampering did wonders for the working classes. It was something…

Robin frowned, Slade sensed the boy's confusion as he raised his one eye and shrugged the kid to remove his miss a moment. "Questions, dear boy?"

"Y…es." Robin nodded, arms clutched to his chest at the memory of someone close and binding after lunch…

"How did you know...About –

"Your grip was not inexperienced at all, a bit rusty." The man rolled his shoulders and began to rise, Robin now getting used to his enemy's abrupt timings. "Who instructed you in this sort of therapy before?"

"A, friend of my father's." Robin sniffed and recalled visiting Doctor Liselotte (Leslie) or her house calls being mostly about how the master of the house never took a vacation in his life.

"Her hands were nimble, so too did it show in her pupils fine touch."

"I'm sure she'd appreciate your compliments, sire."

Or her anti – establishment clinic in Gotemiln was…. gone already, no one could thank anyone.

"That. Was of your thanks, boy." Smiled the enemy General as his hand came to brush the rebel leader's cheek, Robin; being afraid it was too late to find…no, no –

His stance was about to become bloody, had a knock not sounded at the door.

"Your eldest son Grant, Sire."

The elder from before went on his merry was as the pony tail wearing Ravager's first in command bowed and saluted his father…Father, then the man was…. where were his wives? Wife, for the light-haired girl looked nothing like the blonde or oldest brunette who stepped into the study room with a smirk.

"How are you enjoying your new company, father?"

"He is, adequate. I suppose, although you'll be in charge of his sword training when the time comes."

"Sire…I won't let you down but…you know of him as being one of our sworn –

"Wayne was respectable for what he claimed to accomplish under the Court's eyes." Slade rubbed his chin and moved to the window; the bright days were miles away as Robin looked over the male's shoulder. Grant snorted at the other boy, an un worthy competition if the General decided to replace his own eldest blood with any… outsiders.

"What of Rosa and I, Sire?" Grant asked, seeing no reason to act so professionally in front of his own parent. "We wish to go along with bringing those to their knees in Dakkomra (Dakota Static Shock.) next." His eyes lit up as Robin let his fall to the floor boards. "You've done as no other promising ruler in all of history, Sire. We'll win their minds and –

"They'll come quietly or not at all." Slade's eye rose to meet his son's. "That sort of enthusiasm isn't always wise to wield, dear child. Your brother and sister realized this, yet here you are. Asking for a new post without question as to why you deserve the honor of enslaving a people."

"Sire! It is –

"Get out of my sight , boy." Snarled the man as his son suddenly scrunched up into himself, looking much too young for his age. "This war is no game, no damned excuse to be a legend when the fate decided of any person is not mine to raise high. How DARE you claim that rite…. I've taught you so much better."

Grant's eyes were so far almost broken as he swallowed, trying to smile through this rejection of what he wanted. One homicide to make his father love him and bestow the boy a role like the General's. Robin said nothing as Grant stormed out, his anger winning out as the slamming doorway was reason enough to let go a breath.

"They…are, all your children." Robin let his voice waiver a bit, while Wilson moved from the window to face his new treasured winning piece. If this wasn't a game, then why so many pawns?

"Your position is where I say it is, just as his, or Grant wouldn't be allowed to carry that badge under my waiting arm." The ex – noble son nodded, not denying that Robin would get to talk a lot more to this mad man in the coming days.

"Would, you like me to continue? On your shoulders, sire." Robin licked his lips, feeling pretty confident that he could find a pressure point, the ones his father had taught him as the adopted son of a fabled warrior.

"That, would be alright." Slade sat back down as Robin moved his hands, his thumbs coming close as he found his points, the body of the man before him going limp as his head hit the desk.

That…was too easy. It was a killing blow, he could now… escape!

Down to the kitchen, the dimly lit halls he traveled with his arms below a large black cowl. His face just made unreachable, getting the bearings of this place so far was not an easy task at all.

He'd not been to this part of the kitchen, the walls…. older.

He rapped on one and found it hollow, unused as he scraped across to locate another item.

A hidden switch as he pulled the wall-colored lever down, the dull wall falling away as winding stairs greeted the teenager's amazed eyes. Gulping, the boy descended the stone steps, careful not to trip as the torches that lit the walls were not of fire yet a lightning that could be called…. Electrical by nature. How this technology must have been only recent, this man's secrets ran much deeper as Robin felt his heart beat a bit harder even harder as he…. was that green light…. yes! Y –

"Korina!" He gasped as her suspended form was held captive with more tubes and brightly lit wires, a jungle of them as he panted and dug through in a frantic way. Nails clawing, as the woman inside was…. she was alive

"I…. I found you, Korina…. why? Why did you not…"

"Perhaps she was most fortunate, actually."

Roy sat upon his supposed seat and waited to gather his things, he'd be meeting a very important person in the next hour and his trip would be by air ship to Metropoli to meet the gentleman.

Alexi Ulyanov; (Lex Luthor, looking at syllables!) Mayor of Metropoli and the one to have helped build the tallest walls over the city, Smirval (Smallville) was also home to an impressive heroic knight called the Blue Knight beside the Dark Knight, Robin Hood of Styr and Wallace's mentor the Speedster Force.

Also, Conroy was the distant lost son of the Blue Knight. A boy with gifts by an experiment that Alexi had tried to recreate his enemy. The blue knight and he were all but opposites, for they had birthed by pure alchemy Conroy due to their old feuds. While now, they were against a different enemy together.

Bluddbechia had to pay, and both parties had remained neutral long enough to come to an understanding, for that and their son's sake.

At first, the concept of such love by political indifference made Roy toss and turn over the issue; how was it that a man of the stars was his dear ally all along AND the heir to a great hunk of Metropoli in question?? His father was no Saint and like Korina, Conroy was also part of an 'alien' birth. The Blue knight was said to have been shipped from a burning planet as a babe. Having only his adoptive parents on a small farm to have him fed and cared for, his alien rights had become noticeable at a rather young age. They found he was something of a prince on his planet that had been erased forever by a great invisible force in the galaxy, while Alexi was the rival once to the alien brother…. now, they had a boyto stop their wars. Be it a miracle or a mistake, Metropoli was a sanctuary city to those looking in need. Refugees, as Alexi took then then for a small price, that they never leave and should only dress and act as Metropoli citizens.

"I won't allow Styr to lose its position under the Court's watch." Roy ran a hand through his cherry red hair, the sweat no longer dripping as it had with –

He rose and felt his he's patter, gathering his pens as he blotted the script with ink.

"I, can save someone!" He laughed and was overjoyed to know it.

"The General, Alexi. They'll gladly guarantee our deal. Bring my wife and child back to the manor…. You'll be safe, stay well…until we meet and I call on your presence." He kissed the shut envelope and raised a hand for one of his staff to deliver it right away.

Be it in love or lust, Jade was too precious a stone for he to toss. "Whatever have you named our daughter…. or is it a son?" He was giddy, images of the ones he could save from being put to death for defying the new government. "If it is for her, you will come…"

Speaking of an illegitimate love child?

"Hafid! Hafid AL – GHUL."

Damian. DAMIAN, was what he was supposed to be called, as the young ten-year-old moved swiftly to see to his grandfather's words. He passed the stoic expressions of a dozen guards to the temple of his father's long time "organization." The assassins' training ground, the Demon's Head – a conspiracy that involved anarchy and owls. Yes, the same ones who had attacked and taken hold of the people of this world.

Damian, or Hafid Al- Ghul as he was labeled here, was a part of it. (Hafiz is son so yeah, there you go. Grandson would be…son of the demon's head and I'm going with a dark way to use this. Ra's was around for X number of years? So, did Bruce only have Dami, or is Talia not just Ra's daughter? I'm bad we'll get to it! Soul contracts with demon gods and so on to come!!)

The boy wore the colors and shades of many flags, many nations that had been dominated by his grandfather. An important figure and immortal by his treasure housed below this former Sultan's palace (metaphorical not really.) with his arms to his sides as the soldiers before his grandfather's throne, Damian stayed totally erect. Parallel to the floor as he was told. The sect was all powerful, it even rivaled the Court; Wayne could not stop them. Nor could –

"Damian -

" YES, GRANDFATHER." The boy returned to earth, this earth with his ears wide.

"Good, you'll follow." Ra's nodded and stood, ushering the child to walk behind him to the next hallway. Damian ignored the ache in his belly of what hall that was.

The dungeons.

"I'm going off to speak with my old…. pupil." Ra's said in a dark almost* sultry voice, something wanting of this practice before turning to his grandchild. He clutched his cane and held it so, strongly. (Hinting that he is a bit taken by the knight's tenacity and Tim is there as well, will explain later!)

"Go to your mother, Lady Talia; give her my message. "The knight will fall, whence the day again shall rise."

Damian nodded, not understanding this cryptic poetry it seemed, his feet moving robotically to the upper wing as sounds of cooing and moans…

Damian held his hand to the door, pulling it back as there was no guard on staff…

They weren't outside the doorway, anyway.

There was another reason the Al Ghuls had been in power for thousands of years, as a slithering hiss was heard and as Damian turned the door knob to his mother's quarters, slowly

Playing on the horror aspect and there will be incest to a degree and…cults and demonic possession and curses. You'll see!
