This prompt just seemed to lend itself as a continuation of the prompt I posted a while ago entitled Lacey and Trouble. So, here is part 3 of that one-shot!

The legalities: I do not own any of the Expendables franchise (characters, places, and objects especially) and this is mostly au.Rated M just to be on the safe side.

Also, please don't be afraid to write reviews. I would love to hear from you all!

Hope you enjoy!

Prompt: "Well, this is a nice change of scenery."

"It's a prison cell."

"I was being sarcastic."

"Why does this sort of thing always seem to happen to the two of us?"

Lacey scoffed. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Yea right."

It had started out as a pretty good day. Jacoba had seen the team off for a supposedly quick mission early that morning. Then Lacey had snagged her to go shopping with Lee and Gunnar's money (the latter really should put his wallet in a less accessible place) before stopping to have dinner at a bar that neither had been to before. Which seemed to have been a mistake, since a greasy-looking man had attempted to hit on them multiple times. Jacoba had stood, which normally scared men off (her tallness came in handy sometimes), and told him to get lost. Then he had the gall to touch her, causing Lacey to punch him, possibly breaking his nose. Which in turn caused a bar fight because he had had friends with him. And then the cops were called. They had been placed in a cell, just for holding on their part the officer had ensured them as the others were going to be charged for the fight. Just a typical Tuesday, it seemed.

"Well, well, well. This is a nice change of scenery, ladies."

Lacey and Jacoba looked toward the cell door to see Tool there, seeming to be holding in his laughter but smirking all the same. Jacoba rolled her eyes. "It's a prison cell, Tool. You know, a nice place to get away from some idiotic bastards."

Tool frowned. "I was being sarcastic."

"So was I. Are you our ticket out?"

"Yea, though the guys all wanted to come to figure our why the two of you got thrown in here."

Both women were on their feet in an instant, asking, "They're back? Is everyone ok?"

Tool actually started laughing this time. "Yes, and yes. Now you two want to tell me what happened?"

The two shared a smile as they walked out of the cell and looped their arms through Tool's. Jacoba smirked then. "It would be better if we only told it once. Let's go get my car and tell everyone at the same time."

Both women knew that, if they ever saw that idiot again (and they really hoped that they didn't), he would definitely be apologizing to them. Especially if they were around the guys.
