Forewarning, the fluff apparently decided to make a big appearance here. You're welcome.
The legalities: I do not own any of the Expendables franchise (characters, places, and objects especially) and this is mostly au.Rated M just to be on the safe side.
Also, please don't be afraid to write reviews. I would love to hear from you all!
Hope you enjoy!
Prompt: "I'm trying to have a serious conversation with you!"
"And I'm trying to subtly avoid it!"
"Get your ass back here, Amazon!"
"Not going to happen, Viking!"
"Well that's a change."
Gunnar and Jacoba turned towards the voice that had interrupted their argument to see Lee standing with his arms crossed, leaning slightly on his motorcycle. Jacoba furrowed her brow and put her hands on her hips. "You have a problem, Christmas?"
Lee held his hands up in surrender. "No problem, J.D. I was just commenting on the changes I'm seeing between the two of you since you got together."
Jacoba leaned back before she and Gunnar shared a very confused look before turning back to Lee. They spoke together, "What's that supposed to mean?"
Lee rolled his eyes as he put his head in his hand. "How is it that you two have gotten worse since you got together?" He could already feel the both of him glaring at him so he pushed on before either of them could say anything. "It's just normally J.D. trying to get Gunnar to stop doing something, not the other way around. And on that note, I'm going to head out." In the quickest fashion that Jacoba had seen him move, Lee put on his helmet and was soon peeling out of the garage next to Tool's Tattoo Shop. Jacoba shook her head.
"Coward."
As Gunnar put an arm around her waist, Jacoba sighed but allowed him to pull her around so they were face to face.
"You know, I've been trying to have a serious conversation with you all day, doll."
Sighing again, she leaned her forehead gto his shoulder as she wrapped her arms around his torso. "I know, and I've been attempting to subtly avoid whatever it is about."
She felt him chuckle. "Well, I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to move in with me, or buy a place with me. Either or."
Jacoba leaned back with wide eyes and searched for any deceit on his face, of which she saw none. Relaxing slightly, she reached a hand up to his face. "You sure?"
That earned a huff. "You already are a main fixture at my place. My damn cat loves you, even if he shows it in odd ways. Everything just seems to be falling into place and I want to wake up next to you."
"Alright." Gunnar gave her a quick look as if to confirm what he heard. She smirked up at him. "Let's go buy a house, because all my books sure as hell won't fit in your place."
Before Gunnar could start laughing, Jacoba pull him into a kiss. This was going to be the start of something great. She just knew it.
