The legalities: I do not own any of the Expendables franchise (characters, places, and objects especially) and this is mostly au.Rated M just to be on the safe side.
Also, please don't be afraid to write reviews. I would love to hear from you all!

Prompt: "Hey, I didn't kill anyone today!"
"What do you want? A gold star?"
"Well that could have gone better."
"No shit, Sherlock."
"But hey, it definitely could have been worse."
"Since when are you a glass half full sort of person?"
"Children, can we please just board the plane and get the hell out of here?" Jacoba was not a happy camper. This mission had not taken that long, but it had still been too long in her opinion.
They had gone to take down (yet another) small-time gun runner. All was going well with it until Lee and Toll (who'd been the recon team) came back with some bad news. It would seem that, in the time between when Barney and Lee had scouted at first and when they had gone to do the recon, the target had apparently decided to fire the majority of his staff, making it near impossible for the team to anticipate where the remaining staff would be. Jacoba had just given Barney a droll look before stomping up the ramp back into the plane to change. The target was known to go through tall women like they weren't anything, so Jacoba had known that she was Plan B. She would now be saddled with providing the distraction as the boys infiltrated and quietly take down the rest of the compound. And that's just what they did.
Now, they had just loaded themselves back onto the plane; Jacoba was pulling the shirt that Gunnar had tossed at her when she had met up with the team again closer around her as they did so. Her top had been ripped by the jerk before she'd knocked him out, so when Gunnar had seen her coming towards them like that, he'd taken off his own tee, put his vest back on, and tossed the tee at her, which she had put on immediately. While she appreciated this gesture, Jacoba just wanted to go home and forget this whole mission had even happened. She sat down heavily on the bench and leaned forward, putting her head in her hands.
She knew that it was Gunnar who sat down next to her without even looking, since he was the only one brave (or stupid) enough to sit next to her on the plane. They had been getting on a little bit better in the months since she'd officially joined the team, but they still fought like cats and dogs. Suddenly, she heard Gunnar exclaim, "Hey, I didn't kill anyone today!"
Jacoba lifted her head and shot the Viking a look out of the corner of her eye. "What the hell do you want, Viking? A fucking gold star?"
Gunnar snorted as he quickly slipped a shirt on and leaned back again as he rolled his eyes. "Nope. Just making an observation."
This caused Jacoba to roll her own eyes as she leaned back herself, half glaring at Gunnar as she poked his side. She then focused her attention on the cockpit. "Hey Barn?"
"Yeah, Amazon."
"Let's go home."
