Author's Note

I do not own the Hunger Games.

Bet you didn't think you'd see me back, huh? See end of this chapter for details.

THE HUNGER GAMES

Everyone knows our annual competition for the Districts. Every year, two lucky tributes are chosen from each District to compete for glory in wonderful and imaginative arenas. We all enjoy watching the great battles between the tributes, the alliances and the backstabbing, the struggle against the natural landscape of the arena itself.

The Experience

But have you ever watched a year of The Hunger Games and thought, 'I could do better than that?'

Or perhaps you've seen an arena and considered, 'I know exactly what I would do in that arena.'

Maybe you've only ever thought, 'To compete must be a wonderfully exciting experience.'

The Game

Now you can!

Our new Games Simulator allows you to experience competing as a Hunger Games tribute – without the risk of death of course. Strap yourself in and enjoy the full experience of being reaped, the Parade, the Interviews, and more! Compete against family, friends, and other players in past arenas! Enjoy a morning or afternoon battling to prove yourself the best and become Victor – or die trying. All without ever having to leave our glorious Capitol. You can try your strategies, tackle other players, or simply enjoy the wonder of the arena.

If you are aged between twelve and eighteen, you are eligible to play The Game! Just come down to one of the three authorised Game centres and enjoy hours of fun!

Author's Note

Sooo.

Here I am.

If you don't know who I am, I'm Huntress. I used to be more active, but then I disappeared. Feels a bit strange to be back, to be honest. I did have plans to run another SYOT after Canis Canem Edit, but then there was covid, and, well, let's just say it ruined my enthusiasm for that story.

But enough about that. Let's talk this one.

This is a Capitol SYOT, so all the tributes will be Capitol kids. In case the setup above is still too unclear, a Hunger Games simulation game has become hyper popular in the Capitol, and the tributes/characters will be entering it. Of course, it's all fun and games until everything goes wrong, right?

So yeah, the game pretty much immediately turns deadly.

I'm currently in great need of players/tributes, so if you're interested, see my profile for full submission rules and guidelines.
