Chapter 1:
Stranded Across the Planes
As the mindflayer was cut down by the Cambion devil with his flaming sword, Celest brought her mighty hammer down, smashing the infernal monster's head into the floor of the nautiloid ship. Blood, gore, and brain matter caked the head of the weapon as she picked up the weapon. The half elf Shadowheart raised her mace as more devils entered to command room.
"Tsk, get to the console Teef-ling." The Githyanki raied her blade, blood spattering their yellow skin and fine silver armor.
Celest nodded her head as she readied the devil's sword. Running forward, she slashed the imps apart. But a helsboar charged her. its tusks goring her in the side as Celest raised the blade and plunged it down through the creatures skull. She could hear the sounds of combat behind her as she reached the console.
Grabbing the alien tentacle nerves, she looked up as a gith dragon knight landed on the nautilod ship. The Dragon's red scales shone in the fires of Avernus. The beast readed its head to breathe dragons fire over the console. Celest just barely fell back to avoid the searing heat as the ship lurched and slipped between planes of reality.
The ship lurched and rolled in the space between realms. Celest was tossed around before the ship tilted, and she was flung to the side, crashing through the weaked charded shell. She watched as the ship flew away before falling into an unknown plane of existence.
Class 1-A stood outside the USJ as Aizawa spoke with the rescue hero Thirteen. "Hey, Midoriya, ready to give it your all?" Iida asked his friend.
The green haired boy looked up from his muttering. "O-oh. Yes. I am." He said somewhat shakily.
Uraraka spoke up next. "It'll be great, Deku."
The class of 20 students turned their attention to their teachers. "Students All Might couldn't make it, but that doesn't mean we can't provide the best education." Aizawa announced.
Thirteen stepped forward in her large bulky hero costume that resembled a space suit. " This is the USJ, or the Unforseen Simulation Joint. In this facility was designed by myself. I can simulate any rescue scenario. Be it a natural disaster in the mountains or a city wide fire. While this differs from the combat training you've been undergoing, it's no less important. Because many quirks, if used in the wrong way at the wrong time, can be lethal."
The two pro heroes then brought the students inside, explaining the different sectors, mountains, forests, ruined cites, huricanes, and city fires. A perfect training facility.
But as the students were taking it all in. Two portals opened up. One infornt of the cetral Plaza of the building and one high above the students. "Sensei, what's that?" Tsuyu asked as a large purple portal formed at the fountain in the center plaza.
They watched as men and women with weapons and mutant class Quirks before a final three figures exited the portal, a man with blue hair, baggy black clothes and white hands clasped to his body with red thick tubes. A well-dressed man eith a large metal collar with glowing yellow streaks for eyes and seemed to be made of the portal that had delivered to inturders. Lastly, a large onyx skinned beast. clad in torn pants, its muscular body sporting a beaked head with the brain exposed.
"Villains!" Aizawa shouted, putting himself between the students and the mob.
"Wait, Sensei. Your quirk, it isn't suited for this kind of head on battle. You're a specialist in single target takedown!" Midoriya exclaimed.
"No good Hero is a one skill combatant." Aizawa replied.
Then their gaze was turned up as the craking of the realm between reached them. A swirking etheral crack in reality. Widening just enough to allow a single figure through. A bloody armored figure with a flaming blade in hand streaked towards the students. They parted, and before the figure could hit the ground, they stopped, hovering still in the air upside down before dropping in a heap.
Crimson skin, long sharp sleder horns, a dark red mohawk with tidy braids and the side and black tips, bright steal scaled armor under a black tunic, well worn knee high boots and intricate black facial tattoos. The barbed tail layed out on the ground as she laid unconcious.
"Great... can this get any more complicated. Grab her and run!" Aizawa ordered as her charged to face the villains.
The green haired Midoriya was the first to act, lifting the girl over his shoulder as his class turned to escape, her grip still tight on the handel of her sword. But a swirling gassious portal opened, and the glowing eyes of the villain appeared. "Students, stay back. I'll take care of him," Thirteen said, pointing her finger at the villain as the cap opened.
"Apologies, I can't allow you to escape. We need you all here, so our plan is executed successfully." the dark figure replied. "For was have come to this Bastion of Heroism for one goal. The murder of All Might."
Bakugo roared and charged the villain with Kirishima. The two boys lashing out, hardened fists, and explosions on the villain.
"Ha, Betcha, didn't see that one coming?!" Taunted Kirishima.
"BEGONE! WRITHE SCREAM TILL YOU HAVE DRAWN YOUR BREATH!" The villain unleashed his qurik, scattering the students throughout the USJ.
Midoriya appeared to still hold the girl over his shoulders high in the air, falling into a pool of watter. He struggled to keep the two of them above water before he noticed the aquatic villains approaching them.
Thats when Tsu came swimming through the water, kicking the nearest in the head, grabbing them with her frog like tongue wrapping around their waists and pulling them towards a yacht in the center of the water. Quickly hauling them aboard, a third student was already on the boat.
"Thanks, Asui." Midoriya said.
"Call me Tsuyu." Tsuyu said back.
"They know our schedual, it best to believe they caused the media to rush the school in order to gain access to the schools internal systems." Midoriya said after a few seconds of thought.
"Wait a second, Midoriya, that guy said their here to kill All Might." Mineta exclaimed. "But that's impossible!"
"Then they must have a way to kill All Might. Otherwise, why come here to just get beaten?"
"I wouldn't put it past them. That guy did promise to kill us all." Midoriya responded.
"Oh god, what are we gonna do?" Mineta stammered. as Tsu and Midoriya looked over the edge at the approaching villains.
"Who says we will even last out that long?" Before they heard something.
That when they heard coughing and sputtering. Looking over at their new ship mate, they locked eyes with the deep firey red that stared back. Pain in her eyes as she sat up against the wall. Then the palms of her hand glowed as she held them over the wound in her side, stemming the blood flow and easing her pain.
"Where am I?" She asked. But to the people she spoke to, her words were a language they had never heard before. Alien and strange.
"What did she say?" Mineta asked, hiding behind Tsuyu.
The horned woman slowly stood up, her hand glowing agian. Putting the others on edge. She brought her palm to her throat. An iridescent glow splayed out. "Sorry... normally, I have this spell casted already." Her voice was soft and melodic. Comforting and inviting. "I'm Celest Fior of Baulders Gate. I'm a bit... lost at the moment."
"Huh hi... well, we are un-under attack by villains right now." Midoriya said, almost captivated by the girls voice.
"Villains?" Celest looked around, the expression on her face growing more cofused as the amount of detsils she processed grew. The strang vessale, the semi aquatic humanoids, the sounds of battle in the distance, the giant illumentate steel and stone dome that emcompassed the space. She stepped back from the ship railing, taking a shaky breath. "What... planet is this?" She asked.
"What are you talking about?" Midoriya asked.
"The planet. I came out of a rift or portal, right? Where am I?" She asked again, turning to the boy.
"Kero... you're on planet Earth. What are you going on about?" Tsu asked.
"I am from a planet called Abir-Toril. The details can wait." Celest said, walking over to the edge again.
"Wait, so your a Alien!?" Mineta shouted.
"Not exactly... think more parallel universe. I explain more when we aren't in danger." She said, hefting her blade to her shoulder. She held out her hand.
The three students looked at her then each other. "Celest... how can we be... sure you aren't lying?" Midoriya asked.
"I am a Paladin, upon my honor and oath I swear to thee, that I don't seek to decive or betray you."
"Alright... I'll trust you." Midoriya said.
"That's nice and all, but how are we getting out of this situation? Kero." Tsu asked.
"Well, they must have had Intel about the layout of the USJ. All those villains have aquatic bassed quriks. But look, they aren't approaching with any amount of haste." Noted Midoriya.
"Then they must not know your powers." Celest added in. "But that means they won't take you lightly.
"Exactly, then they wouldn't have sent Tsuyu here to the flood zone as she has a water-based quirk." Midoriya explained.
"They would have sent me to that firey zone." Tsu added as well.
"But what do we do?" Asked an almost panicked Mineta.
"I don't think swimming is our way out of this." Midoriya said. "What exactly are everyones abilities?"
"Kero. I can do everything a frog can. So my tongue is able to extend, and I can climb walls, jump really far, and I produce a mucus." Tsu said.
"Well, I create these sticky balls." Mineta took a purple ball from his scalp and stuck it to the wall.
"Are you wearing a bowl as pants?" Celest asked, finally acknowledging the strange boy, "No focus. I am able to heal minor wounds, I have a fair level of fire magic, my powers as a paldin grants me the power to smite my foes with divine light or holy flame, and I can see in the dark. Also, I can create a magic hand."
"What about the levitating?" Midoriya asked.
"That's a more complicated affair. And a full explanation will spell our doom at the moment. For now, I hit things really good and make injuries go away." Celest smiled. "So what can you do? Create balls of flame? Whip the waters into a whirlpool?"
"That's it!" Midoriya exclaimed as one of the villains grew impatient and lashed out with a blast of water splitting the ship in two.
"This may be a bad time to mention this but I can't swim!" Celest shouted.
"The only way to win is to take the fight to them!" Midoriya leaped from the boat, turning in the air as he held his right forearm with his left hand. "GO TO HELL!" he shouted at the top of his lungs. power condensed in his fingers before releasing it in a massive blast. "DELAWARE SMASH!" The attack created a surge of water drawing the villains in. "Mineta, throw your balls in the water!"
Tsuyu grabbed Celest and Mineta as she leaped from the ship. Minetas balls trapping the villains in a floating mass.
"By Tyr's gauntlet!" Celest shouted. She had never seen such strength before. Soon, they reached the shallow end of the pool with Midoriya. "Your hand..." She said, taking the boys hand in hers. "Let me..." A blue glow emenated from her fingers.
"Whoa, it's... fine." He said as the glow faded his hand perfectly healed. "How did you..."
"I told you I'm a Paladin. Healing is one aspect of my oath."
