Arcade:

(Okay, so I figured I'd have a one-shot of Zeke hanging out with his friends. Wolf is the only member part of this one-shot. I figured I'd have Wolf go solo and see how Zeke interacts with his friends. I do not own any of the songs and references I list here)

Wolf drove into a neighborhood with his son in his new car. "Okay, this is Akio's house, right?" Wolf said, Zeke zoomed out of the car, almost immediately. "Yeah, this is it! Come on, Dad!" Zeke went up and knocked on the door. Wolf walked up next to his son, as someone walked to the door. "Oh, hi, Zeke!" An adult raccoon said, cheerfully. "Hey, Mr. Hayashi! Is Akio ready yet?" Zeke said, beaming with energy. "Oh, he's coming. Hi, I'm Kazuto." He put his hand out, "Oh, it's Moe. I'm Zeke's father." Wolf said, charismatically.

"Oh, okay. It's nice to meet you, Mr. Wolf. Diane talks about you all the time." Kazuto said, which made Wolf slightly blush. "Oh, she does? Well, I-I hope she says good things about me…" He said, trying to keep his ground.

Akio walked ahead as he saw his friend and his dad. "Taking me on another high speed police-chase, Bringer of Chaos?" Akio signed, smirking. Zeke giggled at his friend's joke, "No, no. We're going to the arcade today." Zeke translated for his friend, they were excited, today Zeke and his friends were getting together as free model citizens from juvie. So that means, him, Akio, Ari & Marshall will be hanging out at the arcade.

"What'd he say?" Wolf asked, still unable to understand sign language. Kazuto just looked at his son, "Yeah, he's not really over the "stealing a push-pop" thing that you guys were arrested for." Kazuto explain, taking a breath. "I will be real with you, Mr. Wolf. Me and my wife are trying to keep our son out of jail, now please…" Kazuto told him, Wolf looked upset. "R-Right. No worries, Mr. Hayashi, we'll be on our best behavior." He said, trying to keep his nervous smile up. Wolf should've expected this, but it still hurt him to know that some people don't trust him. He's an ex-inmate & known former thief, but still. Zeke looked at his dad, Akio looked a little confused.

"Is my dad laying down ground rules with yours?" Akio signed, Zeke simply nodded. "Well, guys, let's go. We've gotta pick up Ari and Marshall, right?" Wolf asked. Zeke nodded his head, "Yeah, come on, Akio." Zeke said, as the boys walked back to the car.

Wolf looked a little nervous, but tried to brush it off.

(Later)

"So, Wolfy, I hear you got a girlfriend?" Ari asked, teasingly. Zeke looked confused a little, but then squinted his eyes as he looked at Akio.

"What? Do I have something in my fur?" Akio asked, though he already suspected what Zeke looked annoyed at.

"Ari, I don't have a girlfriend. Really, Akio, first Mom, then you?" Zeke asked, Akio looked mischievous and giggled.

"Wait, what? My Zekey's got a girlfriend?" Wolf asked his son, interested in the gossip. Zeke looked a little more annoyed at that, "Dad, I just said—Oh, look. There's Marshall's." Zeke pointed out, then Wolf pulled over to the street.

Zeke quickly got out of the car, and went to go knock on the door.

Wolf rang the doorbell and who came out was a young adult female ferret. "Oh, kids! Hi!" She said, "Hey, Ms. Roquette! Is Marshall—"

"Hi, Zeke." Marshall was already walking up to his friends, much more level-headed.

"Hey, dude! How've you been? Are you ready for the arcade? Am I shouting too much, I'm stopping now!" Zeke said, going into his hyperactive phase, raising his fist up and keeping his upbeat attitude.

"Well, I can tell you are, at least." Marshall said to his friend, keeping his neutral smile. "Hey, Ari. Akio." He said, waving for Akio to know.

Akio waved back, "Sup, man? Glasses are a new touch." He signed, noting the new look Marshall was sporting. Marshall touched his glasses, "Yeah, heh. I kinda need them, anyways. Huh, so you're Zeke's dad?" Marshall looked at Wolf, "Yeah, that's me. Nice to meet ya, Marshall. Ms. Roquette, it's nice to meet you." Wolf said, kindly.

"It's nice to meet you, too, Mr. Wolf." Ms. Roquette said, they shook hands. "Okay, off to a good start, so far..." He thought to himself. He remembered there was a layer of distrust with that Kazuto guy.

"Huh, I can see why your last name's Wolf now, Zeke." Marshall said, "Oh yeah. It's Wolf-Foxington, now." Marshall just looked weirded out by his friend.

"I'll go ahead and guess that has something to do with your mom." He said, "Next time I see you, you better have the same name, no add-ons to it." Zeke just giggled at that comment.

"Mr. Wolf, if you would, try to keep my nephew out of trouble, please?" Ms. Roquette. "No worries, Ms. Roquette, we'll just be at the arcade." Wolf said, "Okay then, but seriously." Ms. Roquette brought a bit of seriousness in her tone.

Wolf felt nervous, she didn't trust him.

Marshall looked over, "Don't mind my Aunt Susie, she's just worried, is all." Marshall said to him, his aunt looking at him and then at Mr. Wolf ashamed. "Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to—"

"O-Oh no, it's fine." Wolf said, smiling sheepishly to show he wasn't offended. Zeke looked at his dad, saddened.

"Hey, chin up, dude. The arcade's gotta calm his nerves." Ari said, trying to stay optimistic. "Y-Yeah, I hope so."

(Later)

The arcade was glittering, and lit up with vibrant colors. The close some of the kids had on would glow under a black light. "Whoa…Now only thing this place needs is some cool looking graffiti." Zeke said, his friends squinting at him, "Dude, is art all you think about?" Akio signed.

"Well, no. I think of video games, you guys, my fam, Kpop." Zeke immediately answered, "I think the last thing we need to hear is a recap, Zeke." Marshall said, "Yeah, you're probably right." Zeke said,

"Still, though. Imagine how cool the art would be if it could light up under the black light." Ari said, basically hopping on Zeke's bandwagon.

"Okay, soldiers. What's the game plan?" Akio asked, "Well, what's the prize we're shooting for?" Marshall asked. "Well, let's go check out the prize corner." Wolf said, taking the kids to check out what's good.

The prize corner was filled to the brim with so many things:

Candy

Cheap Carnival Toys

A few peashooters

Some light up signs. "Ooh, that one looks cool." said Ari, noting that one looked a fountain.

A…roulette wheel for drinking?

"Yo, Mr. Wolf, what's roulette?" Akio asked, "That's an adult game, kiddo." Wolf said, with Ari translating for him.

"Oh! What about that one?" Zeke asked, Marshall looked over and saw that there was a game console.

"Huh, I don't need it. Well, I mean, none of us really do? And Ari, what are you doing?" Ari went and looked at the pricing. "Guys, it's 160,000." Ari said.

"So, we're going for the game console, then?" Akio asked.

"Yeah, let's work on getting the tickets!" Zeke said, pulling out a card. "I know a good game that's basically a gold mine!"

"Careful how much you spend on it, Zekey. We've only got so much." Wolf said.

"All right, Akio, let's see who can get the most!" Zeke said, Akio and he running to one of the games.

"Oh, it's on, kid!" Akio had a smirk on his face, as the two of them started playing one of those coin games.

"You gotta get these cards for a bonus." Zeke said, loading up their machines.

"Hey, Mar-Mar. Up for a round of Skee-Ball?" Ari asked, Marshall just looked at her weirdly.

"Yeah, we're gonna talk about that nickname, later." Marshall said, "You can call me "Ri-Ri" if you want?" She said, "U-Uh—whoa!" Ari grabbed Marshall's arm and they went for the skee-ball machines. "Dad, you gotta pitch in, too." Zeke said, Wolf just chuckled.

"Okay, I'll go play a few games."

(Zeke and Akio)

Zeke and Akio were counting the cards they managed to get. They were playing these coin games like it was the only thing of existence in this arcade.

"Okay, I've got at least…three sets of all the cards. Oh, I've got three extras." Zeke said.

Akio still looked over his cards, "I've got three, plus three extra cards."

Zeke and Akio stared at each other, before…fiery intensity surrounded the two of them.

"Next Round: Basketball Hoops!" He said, aggressively! Akio looked at him confused. Then the raccoon rolled his eyes and pointed to his ears. "In case you forgot while you were shouting." He said in sign language.

"Oh, right." Zeke then said to Akio what shouted at in sign language.

"Ohhh…" Akio gestured, as he spoke again. "Okay then, let's go."

The raccoon and rabbit went to the basketball arcade game. "It's go time. In 3…" Zeke said, they put their cards in to play the game. "2…" they pressed the 2-Player option.

"1!" Zeke shouted, immediately pressing the button. Basketballs came down as the two boys struggled to grab one. When they could, they tried to shoot for the goal, but most would miss.

(Ari and Marshall)

"Yes, got it!" Marshall congratulated himself, but quickly shrunk back in timidity. He was worried he would be seen as childish, "S-Sorry. Got too excited." Ari wasn't paying attention, she was too busy trying to get a ball in the 10,000 point slot as each ball she threw was missing. "Dang it! Almost had that one." Ari said, before turning to Marshall. "Sorry, Mar-Mar, you say something?" She asked. Marshall just casually smiled, "Nah, didn't say anything." Marshall looked at how Ari was throwing the ball, "Are you even aiming?" Marshall asked, "Nah, I find that aiming's too distracting." Ari explained, which mildly confused Marshall.

"What?" He asked, "Of course I'm aiming, Mar-Mar." She said, sarcastically.

"Yeah, I can tell." Marshall looked at how bad she was doing.

(Wolf)

Wolf started playing a crane game that carries tickets. He was silently hoping he'd be able to get that 5,000 roll, "That one looks like I can grab it." Wolf tried to steer it all the way to his target, "I've gotta get those other ones outta the way, so…" Wolf went for a roll that was worth 300 tickets. "And…release the claw." Wolf said, managing to get the roll. "Yes!" He said quietly, now he had to get that 100 ticket roll. "Okay, let's see if I can get two back to back." Wolf said, trying his luck. Weird? Why am I reminded of being in a casino right now? He asked himself, "Mommy. It's a wolf." He heard a kid say, "Shh, don't be rude." His mother said to him. Wolf started to be reminded of when Akio and Marshall's parents. Then again, he remembered that Ari's parents seemed nice, well…her dad was slightly aggressive.

But hey, what could Wolf expect? He's a former criminal who got out, so not many people were going to immediately think he went straight.

He may want to talk about this with the guys, later.

Wolf tried to reach that 5,000 roll of tickets, "Okay, almost there…" Wolf tried to push the claw into the right position, and now…it's time for the drop!

The claw tried to go on and Wolf smiled, excitedly. "I think I got it!" He saw as it reached lower…"Yeah, I've definitely got the tickets!" Wolf said, as managed to have a bit of a hold on that roll. As the claw managed to grab it, it only managed to lift it up at least a little bit. "Oh, come on!" Wolf said, annoyed. Before keeping his composure, "Well, I guess I can't complain. I managed to get two other rolls of tickets." He said.

(Afterwards)

"Okay, how much we has?" Zeke asked, playfully. Akio counted all his and Zeke's cards, the kids.

Zeke and Akio managed to get at least 5,074 tickets each from playing those coin games, with at least 207 from the basketball machine. Marshall got at least 8,278 tickets from Skee Ball, and Ari managed to get her luck with 9,208 on a few games after getting tired of Skee Ball.

Wolf tried his luck at the claw machine once more and got a grand total of 1,350 tickets.

"Okay, so grand total is…uh…" Wolf tried to count all this. "Huh, you'd think counting all the cash from before would make things easier." Wolf said, "Hmm…it gets worse when you add these cards." For a complete set of seven cards was at least 10,000 tickets.

"Hmm…Yeah, guys I got the number. We don't have enough." Marshall said.

"Well, what do we do? Keep playing the games?" Ari asked, "Actually, let's go play the bowling alley. I'm tired of just playing the arcade games."

Zeke looked over at his father, "Dad, do we have enough?" He asked. Wolf looked at the balances of all the cards.

"Y-Yeah, I think we went a little overboard on the games, kiddo." Wolf said, smiling sheepishly. "Aww…" Zeke said, "We didn't have enough to keep playing, did we?" Akio asked. Ari shook her head no.

Marshall straightened his glasses out, "Hey, I mean. We had fun, either way, right?" Marshall optimistically.

"Yeah, that's true, at least. So, where to, now?" Ari asked.

"Sorry, kiddos, it's almost 7:00 and I promised your folks that I'd take you guys back before then." Wolf said.

"Aww, come on." Ari complained, "Dad's right, Ari. We should get going. We've got school tomorrow." Zeke said.

(Later)

Zeke was humming late at night, working on a drawing. "No, I messed up on the outline!" He said, looking downtrodden. "I knew I should've waited for the pen…"

He heard his phone go off, it was his friends.

Text:

(With Wolf and Diane)

Wolf was watching tv with Diane, "So, how was it today?" She asked, "Well, ya know: Zeke moving at the speed of sound. And I gotta say, he's made some pretty good friends." Wolf said, proud that his son made friends his age. He then started to realize his smile was fading. "Wolf? What's wrong?" Diane asked. "Well…A-Actually, it's stupid. Wanna watch a movie or something else?" Wolf said, keeping a sly look on his face to cover himself. Diane simply looked at him, unamused that he's trying to avoid talking. "Hey, you know you can tell me, right, Wolf? We're friends, here." Diane said.

Wolf said, and his frown returned.

"Okay, okay…Look, when I went to go pick up Zekey's friends. Well…it was clear they didn't trust me." Wolf said.

Diane looked at him, starting to understand. "Look, Wolf, you know this is gonna be tough." Diane explained, "I want you to understand that not everyone's going to trust you."

Wolf looked to his side, slightly aggravated. "But that's okay, alright? It's just part of life." Diane said, "Yeah, I know. You're right." Wolf said, slightly dejected. "Come on, stop being a downer." Diane flicked Wolf's forehead. "Ow! Hey! What was that for?"

Wolf said, Diane just giggled. Wolf started to smile, "Heh, yeah, you're right." He decided to cheer up a bit, "I know my Zekey wouldn't want his old man to be so down." Wolf said, "Same goes to you, Madame Governor." Diane smiled cheerfully, and start blushing slightly.

"Hey…You think…there is a God?" Wolf said, "Anytime Zeke mentions something about redemption…Well, he thinks of a story from the Bible." He then explained.

He wondered if he and the rest of The Bad Guys going good was something that God was helping with.

"Hmm…I'm not sure, actually. Still…there's still a lot of things we don't really know about the world." Diane said. Wolf looked over to Zeke's room, "Guess I know where I got the help in parenting." Wolf said.

(Okay, so we're at the end. I'm back! After so long, sorry. I've been dealing with a lot, but I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter. Also, I dare some to try and figure how many tickets they had. Anyways, stay strong and awesome! I hope you guys have been praying, I want you to know Jesus died for your sins)
