Eevelyn

Rain dribbled slowly across the city's skyscrapers, slowly dancing down the city's ancient architecture. Bouncing of trees as the sounds of feet shuffled the surrounding beauty that was Muunilinst. Its capital city of Harnaidan was one of the most beautiful cities ever developed by wicked men. Taking huge portions of their ancient architecture and blending it in the needs of wicked men. Muuns, Humans, Twi'leks and more buzzed aboard the financial capital of the Galaxy. Demons cladded in white moved aboard the planetary surface with monitoring stations, check points and more. So Eevelyn reduced herself to the shadows moving with the crowds lying low. Carefully tightened her grip around the brown clock that covered her body. Behind Eevelyn were two members of her security detail that followed her. Slowly weaning the young woman through the complex maze of a city she was unfamiliar with. Occasionally she would try to move in a certain direction out of habit as the city was similar to the ones she grew up in, but wasn't. They had been walking through the city for over an hour now since getting off the hovertrain which connected to the Space Port.

Some arguments had been made to expand the rail line all the way to Eevelyn's destination. Finally she moved into the final sector of the Harnaidan. One of the least traveled parts of the city during this time as it would only be a few hours till the sun set. This area moved from jagged buildings to a flat land moving from cityscape into a more rustic look. With native plants, and trees placed carefully and well maintained. Her brown eyes focused on what was in front of her. Only 3 clicks away was a vast man-made chasm that separated the city from Eevelyn's destination. With a steel bridge that shimmered like the skyscrapers leading to a special plot of land. Which contained Amasi Castle. An ancient symbol of her people's will and might which had been around for thousands of years now. The castle was a massive structure unlike any other on Muunilinst. Made out of Dewstone a white marble esq substance with the complexity of bricks that shined like marble. Under the sunlight it glistened day in and out. A six story tall castle with wide gates made out of a very rare type of steel.

Amasi Castle was a very popular tourist destination, but excluded from viewing by the public. It was even declared as one of the 26 Galactic Heritage sites in the Galaxy. And Eevelyn was one of the few individuals in the Galaxy that could ever enter into its exterior. Proof of her people's power that they had slowly been erasing their presence slowly falling into obscurity. Outside the castle was a department of her people whose sole goal was to protect the castle. Standing there with that she walked towards the gate with a quick pace. For the shadows of nightfall were slowly forming and time was running out. It was standard for her people to remain hidden at night for their protection as well as other reasons. To be forgotten was a gift that couldn't be replicated.

She approached the guards who stood there motionless as a statue. Cladded in their proud armor with blasters older than almost any living being. But it was as effective as any other. With that Eevelyn slid her hand only slightly to reveal the slight of a sword covered in a scabbard. With that the gate slid open and with that Eevelyn and her escort walked into the castle. "Never thought I'd see the inside of this place." One of her guardsmen said quietly. He was more talkative than any of her other previous guards. Eevelyn had no clue who he was as she had no control over her security detail. Just assigned and had to deal with it. "So Amasis Castle is a small piece of living history. Fascinating isn't it?"

"We're not very talkative are we?" The man asked, but again Eevelyn didn't respond to him. "Ya know you'd be a lot more fun if you'd share your opinion your highness." Eevelyn didn't respond, just moved into the castle as night was beginning to settle over the Muuns homeworld. Even if it sparkled Eevelyn wouldn't be caught dead at night. Not on lands she didnt' control, surrounded by people who would ravage her people in brutal ways. It took them 20 minutes from the gate to enter into the castle which they shut behind them. Inside the main entrance was a massive room the size of 3 conference rooms put together. Almost 60% the size of the Galactic Senate chambers. With massive glass windows that were carved with ancient stories, pictures in them. Beautiful paintings lining the wall, well copies of them anyway as the originals had been stored in a secure vault.

"Enjoy your night I have some things to do," Eevelyn said and started to walk towards some of the staff. Who was hired full time to see to the day to day operations of the castle and maintain it.

"Lady Eevelyn welcome to Amasi Castle," one of the maids said.

"Have a bath of Moonlight drawn," Eevelyn said.

"Of course right away," with that the handmaid turned around and dashed off. With that Eevelyn moved, leaving her security detail who would find something to do as she followed the castle's servants. Moving up the soothing marble tile up the stairs through the complex maze she knew the layout farewell. For the castle had been reproduced in several different areas. This was just the oldest of the castles and one of the few that wicked men had been allowed to even gleam upon. For its secrets aren't just given out to anyone. Eevelyn walked through its empty hallways at one point this place would've been bustling with figures.

Passing ancient statues of great historical figures, passing paintings, and a long list of names carved into the stone. Passed the ever present security force that protected this castle all the way down flights of stairs. Designing into the lower levels where one of the most guarded secrets in the Galaxy was located. Even more the terror the Republic or Empire whatever it identified now as was constructing. Passing down long staircases into a secured underground area. Which was patrolled routinely through the complex mazed secured lead to a secret passageway. Towards one of the last few bathhouses of its kind. Bathed in white marble infused dewstone with one more substance for pleasure. It gave a glitter as steam had begun to form into thick clouds that were ever peasant like stepping into a hot Chandrilian humid summer. Where one's senses were lost to themselves and they began to notice the wider galaxy. It took the maids 20 minutes to prepare the bath which took a very specific ritual. In the center of the dome style rome was a round pool. Filled the brim with a hot boiling substance known as Moonlight. A gift from the Goddess herself.

Eevelyn stripped her clothes and threw herself into its warm embrace. Allowing the substance to slowly drown her as the white liquid. Attached itself to one's skin and upon its touch you'd lose your soul, your senses and control. Slowly one would bathe in Moonlight and be stripped of their very reality. Closing off their senses to the world around them and opening them up to the very will of the galaxy itself. Moonlight would induce visions so clear one could see the past, present, future and so much more. It was the greatest gift ever bestowed on them. The secret to Eevelyn's people's success, but it was too dangerous. At one point they would willingly give it away, but too many disasters. Too many lives lost and so it was locked away, hidden and slowly forgotten even myths didn't speak its name. And as Eevelyn sunk lower she lost touch with her sense and opened to the wider galaxy where the visions began.
