"Alright, you sorry bunch of losers, at ease!" Dee bellowed, thoroughly enjoying playing drill sergeant with the bunch of young cadets that had been assigned to his and Ryo's not so tender care. "I'm sure you'll all be delighted to know we've gotta vacate the gym to make room for the next group."
There was a collective sigh of relief from ten people who'd just been put through the most exhausting workout they'd ever experienced.
"Thank God for that," one of them muttered. "I'm practically on my knees. D'you think its lunchtime yet?"
"How can you think about food after that?" the one beside him groaned.
"No talking!" Dee snapped. "Fall in!"
They hurriedly shut up and hustled into line, two by two.
Dee stalked around them. "Straighten up!" he ordered. "Shoulders back!"
They complied, and while they still didn't look particularly impressive, any improvement in posture was better than none.
Returning to the head of the column, Dee smiled. "We're gonna whip you lot into shape no matter what it takes. Am I right?"
"Yes, Sir," came the ragged response.
"What was that?"
"YES SIR!"
"Better. Now, let's see how ya do on the assault course."
Ten cadets groaned.
